I totally agree. I'm Norwegian, and I remember that when I was younger I would explain the fact that I hadn't gotten my Hogwarts letter with that Durmstrang was the closest magical school, and they didn't take muggleborns. My best friend and I created our own Norwegian school instead, where all the classes and houses were based on old viking customs and Scandinavian culture. Now that I think of it, it could probably make for a good rp... )

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention that I'd like Makoto to play the keeper on the Ravenclaw house team.

Thousands As many as you think you can handle, though I would prefer if one person doesn't play more than two of the transfer students right now. I don't really think we need to wait for more people. To be honest, there isn't a real solid conflict planned out, so there is no need to have a bunch of people. I should really figure that one out tho. For now, maybe someone could be giving a tour of Hogwarts to the transfer studies? Or they could get lost. Some small group quidditch practice also might be fun since Bion can get competitive. )

Maybe we can be on the train until a few more people join? )

Cassiopeia Maia Aten - 6th - Muggleborn - Hogwarts, Hufflepuff 16 - Cedar, Unicorn Hair, 14 1/2 inches - Saint Bernard (Dog) - A Maine Coone cat named Regulus aka Reggie Cassiopeia Maia Aten, was named after the stars. Cassiopeia after a northern constellation with a distinctive W shape, Maia after a blue-giant star in the Taurus constellation, and her last name even is the name of an asteroid group. This little, bright star was born with a thirst for knowledge. Whatever she could get her hands on and be educated about growing up, she wanted in on. Her passion for learning spilled out into other things: sports, music, dancing, etc. And anything she did, she excelled at, driven by her hard-working attitude and her need to succeed. Her need, however, turned into more of an obsession, and now Cass will do anything to be the best, regardless of the cost on herself. However, it puts someone else at risk, she has no sense of personal gain. Nothing has ever really been handed to Cassiopeia or her family, and this has created a lean, mean, tireless machine. This girl can go for hours on end with no complaining, eyes bright as the stars, and demeanor as cheerful as ever. It was this passion, dedication, and loyalty that landed her in Hufflepuff and not, surprisingly, Ravenclaw. In fact, it seems the longer and harder she works, the more energetic she becomes, her spontaneity shining through and her ability to multitask due to her ADHD paired with her OCD-esque attention to detail making this girl one bright shining superstar. Not to mention, she’s not too rough on the eyes. Long chestnut curls spiral down her back in a mass of untamable madness, just as chaotic and independent as her. Standing at about 5’9”, Cassiopeia is about as big around as a pencil. Her curves are small and subtle, and her body has that lithe build of a runner. Make no mistake, this girl is tougher than you think, her fiery personality and stubborn attitude as well as her unwavering loyalty have made her stronger, and even a little scrappy if she is defending someone she loves. Her skin is sun kissed, a rich tan, and dotted with freckles as numerous as the galaxies, mostly located on her nose and under her eyes on the apples of her cheeks, and along her shoulders. Her eyes are wide, and they’re a rich brown with that "doe eye" effect in them. Her cheeks are often rosy, and she has little dimples when she grins, which is pretty often. Cassiopeia grew up on a farm in Scotland, with an astronomer for a father and a veterinarian for a mother. Living out in the country, she and her brother often helped out around the small farm tending to the sheep and cattle as well as whatever strays they saw fit to take in at any given time. The farm also served as a foster/temporary sanctuary for any animals that her mom deemed injured enough to bring home, so she and her brother grew up caring for a variety of animals as well as plants, since their mother instilled in them a love for gardening (and basically the outdoors in general) at a very young age while their father instilled in them a love for outer space, filling their heads with dreams of the beyond. [Twin Brother is Kale Pollux Aten] Other[don't need]; Straight, Care for Magical Creatures and Apparition, Chaser
Kale Pollux Aten - 6th - Muggle-born - Hogwarts, Ravenclaw 16 - Rowan, Univorn Hair, 14 3/4 inches - Black Bear - A Natterjack Toad named Castor Kale Pollux Aten was named for celestial beings. Kale after a moon of Jupiter, the largest gas giant, Pollux after one of the twin stars of the Gemini constellation (although Pollux is a singular, cooler yellow orange giant which is less complex than it's twin Castor, much like Kale's calmer demeanor compared to his twin's), and Aten is an asteroid group. Much like his sister, Kale had that same drive to learn. However, while Cass's was more for hard work and exploring, Kale's was a true desire to just learn and hold onto this knowledge. He loves learning, plain and simple. His ambition to constantly stimulate himself to be growing his knowledge, whether in academics or even in the creative arts, such as painting and writing, has created a highly intelligent boy. Not quite as sociable as his sister, Kale is a bit more of the "strong and silent" type. Towering above his giant of a sister at 6' 3", Kale is even more of a bean pole than her (if that's possible), but with more defined muscles than she. Blessed with the same tan skin and dimples as his sister, the two are pretty much identical save for their eyes. Unlike his sister's, Kale's are much darker in color and more intelligent than curious, constantly glued to some new book or new trinket he's fiddling with. A guilty pleasure of Kale's is handheld puzzles, like Rubik's cubes or little interlocking wood or metal trinkets the require precision and patient, methodical workings to undo them. He is also quite the fan of Wizard's Chess, and excels in Herbology due to his passion for plants and gardening, so he can often be found in the Greenhouse, constantly delving deeper into his knowledge of plants, or the library, tucked into some corner with piles of books, or outside wandering the grounds behind his sister with a book in hand. Kale grew up on a farm in Scotland, with an astronomer for a father and a veterinarian for a mother. Living out in the country, he and his sister often helped out around the small farm tending to the sheep and cattle as well as whatever strays they saw fit to take in at any given time. The farm also served as a foster/temporary sanctuary for any animals that his mom deemed injured enough to bring home, so he and his sister grew up caring for a variety of animals as well as plants, since their mother instilled in them a love for gardening (and basically the outdoors in general) at a very young age while their father instilled in them a love for outer space, filling their heads with dreams of the beyond. [Twin Sister is Cassiopeia Maia Aten] Other[don't need]; Straight, Care for Magical Creatures and Alchemy

Victor didn't really like Hogwarts. Not all of it, of course. The people where nice enough and the food was good, but the castle was damp and dreary. It didn't have the extensive, bright gardens or the warm feeling the France school seemed to hold. Also, their uniforms were surprisingly uncomfortable; he preferred the silk of his Beauxbatons's uniform, but hated standing out even more. He decided to settle himself in one of the courtyards and finish his crêpe from lunch, since the other student from Beauxbatons was no where to be found and everyone else was busy. Actually, he hadn't seen his counter part all day and almost wished for confirmation that the other French student also found these flaws. Victor found a bench both in the sun and sheltered from the cold winds that blew in the Northern country. It was also cold. The hills around his French school would normally block the wind. He held the Hogwart's cape shut with one hand while eating his lunch with the other.
--
Emily rushed to the library. She knew she was acting like a so-called "typical Ravenclaw", but she was looking to check out the Advanced Alchemy by Robert Ferna. It was the newest copy and while she was sure not everyone was as eager as her, she wanted to make sure she got it first. She wouldn't let what's-her-name get it first. Ferna claimed to have made some leaps and bounds in the Alchemy field, so the future alchemist had to read it first. No matter how much her mother protested and said these new guys had no clue what they were thinking. Emily still felt a bit guilty at her and her mother's spat. She quickly shoved those memories as she entered the library. It was like returning home after a long day. The old book smell, not too strong but there, and the librarians, still hadn't changed, were still here. Emily dropped off her bag on one of the armchairs to the side before entering the aisles without hesitation. The seventh year student knew where all the books were located by now. She made a quick, sharp turn to where the alchemy books should be and knocked into someone. She made a very undignified ylep of surprise before backing away. "Pardon." She said with her cheeks slightly pink.
(The other two are coming up)

Skylar Brennan - Sixth Year - Pureblood - Ilvermorny, Ravenclaw 16 - Oak and phoenix feather, 12", springy - Phoenix - A silver tabby cat named Saladin Skylar is a somewhat attractive girl, not quite the prettiest in the school but certainly not unattractive. She stands at a height of 5'5", neither tall or short; honestly, she blends rather well with her fellow classmates. She has pale skin, sprinkled all over with freckles, which burns rather easily; honestly, the fact that she's come to Scotland for a year will probably benefit her in that sense. She has rather bright ginger hair which, in the right kind of light, resembles a flame, and rather striking eyes of a sea foam green, framed by a pair of wire rimmed glasses. Intelligent and curious, Skylar fits in rather well with her Ravenclaw peers. She has a passion for knowledge, and is particularly good with potions and DADA, as well as Arithmancy. As she was born in North America, she had never heard of Quidditch before, and finds herself fascinated by the sport, though she doesn't play. She learns quickly and is rapidly becoming accustomed to Hogwarts as well as the culture of British witches and wizards. She can be rather arrogant, fiery, and hotheaded at times, and wouldn't hesitate to pull out her wand if she feels it necessary, but most of the time she keeps to herself, and often comes across as shy. Skylar was born into a Canadian family, and since Canada does not have its own wizarding school, she was sent to attend Ilvermorny, in Massachusetts. She grew up in Quebec and learned the language of French alongside English, and is fluent in both languages, though she predominantly speaks English. At Ilvermorny, she was given the choice between Horned Serpent and Wampus, and chose Wampus house, which favors warriors, and she wants to become an Auror. [Parents are James and Cadence Brennan. Has a twin sister, Tempe, back at Ilvermorny] Other[don't need]; Her best classes are DADA, Potions and Arithmancy. Wants to be an Auror.

Josephine Parish- Fifth Year - Pure-Blood - Hogwarts, Slytherin. 15 - Holly, 10 inches, Unicorn Hair Core - Black Mare - Silver Tabby cat named Mac. Josephine has medium length, curly, dark auburn hair, and pale hazel eyes. She has pale skin with some freckles at the tops of her cheeks and a small, well-defined nose. Her eyebrows are naturally on the thicker side. She is 5'5" and has a rather petite body structure. Although pure-blood, she doesn't pride herself on such status...most of the time. Although she is quite bright, she tends to second guess herself a lot and can be rather indecisive, making her a horrible test taker. She tends to be outgoing and is easy to socialize with, however, she tends to only have a couple of close friends at a time. Josephine was born and raised in London. Her parents constantly pressure her to excel in all of her classes. Mae and Todd Parish are her parents. Both work for the Ministry of Magic. She was a 10-year-old brother named Clark. Other: Has a passion for Potions. She is bi-sexual.
Reece Moore - Third Year - Muggle-born - Hogwarts, Ravenclaw. 13 - Ebony, 9 1/2 inches, Dragon Heartstring Core - Mongoose (When able to produce a Patronus) - Gray Owl named Tito. Reece has short, black hair and large deep brown eyes. He is 5'7 and has a lean, almost slightly muscular body build. Currently going through his awkward puberty phase. His facial hair tends to grow in rather patchy (when he lets it grow in) and his voice tends to crack frequently. He typically has a short temper and tends to prefer textbooks to people (According to him, textbooks rarely say anything stupid). He is bi-racial (Black and Asian). Born and raised in Bristol. First wizard in his family. Parents are Kimberly and Oscar Moore. His mother is a self-proclaimed professional gardener and his father is a plumber. Other: Usually can be found readings auto-biographies, encyclopedias, and textbooks. He is straight. Enjoys Transfiguration.
Naomi Wren - First Year - Half-Blood - Hogwarts, Gryffindor 11 - Dogwood, 11 inches, Phoenix Feather Core - Hummingbird (When able to produce a Patronus) - Chinchilla named Ruby. Naomi has short, pixie-cut, dark brown hair and pale brown eyes. She has an olive skin tone and surprisingly clear skin for her age. She is on the shorter side, a mighty 5'2" and has a heavier body build. She has been described by friends, family, and enemies alike as "Spunky", "Quirky", and her favorite, "Unique". Naomi speaks her mind and stands up for other who may not feel comfortable doing so themselves. Her favorite quality about herself is her chubby figure, followed closely by her eccentricity. She was born and raised in Godric's Hollow. She has one older brother, Harley Wren (19 years old and a Squib) and a younger sister named Rosalie (10 years old a Witch). Her mother is Fiona Wren (A witch) and her father is Thomas Wren (A Muggle). Others: Has an interest in Herbology and Charms. Aspires to be on the Quidditch team. She is straight.
Foster Eldson - Fifth Year - Half-Blood - Hogwarts, Hufflepuff. 15 - Hazel, 10 1/2 inches, Unicorn Hair Core - Australian Shepard - Spotted Owl named Ollie. Foster has medium length, shaggy black hair, and blue eyes. He is 5'9" and has a lanky build. He has long eyelashes and somewhat messy eyebrows and wears glasses. Foster tends to be reserved but is extremely kind and humble in nature. He tends to care more about his friends and families well-being more than his own. Despite being reserved, Foster has a good sense of confidence. Foster also has an adventurous side to him and often explores the castle and the grounds during his free time. History Parents are Nicholai and Ava Eldson. Nicholai is a wizard, while Ava is a witch. He has two older twin sisters (20 years old) named Beatrice and Poppy Eldson, both of whom are witches. Other: He is gay. Enjoys Defense Against the Dark Arts and Divination.

{{ I'll have Julian and Miles's starters up soon, but for now it'll just be Ezekiel. }}
》》Ezekiel didn't mind being classified as your cliché, stereotypical Ravenclaw wizard. He also didn't mind not having anyone to spend lunch with. His brothers tended to eat together, but he always felt awkward eating around them. At least, recently he did, especially since Miles didn't seem to want to speak to him lately. He wasn't sure what he'd done to make him angry, but it must have been something serious. Nevertheless, he found himself eating one of Hogwarts's courtyards, sitting on a bench with his food on one side and book in his lap. His lunch consisted of a simple sandwhich, milk and a nice piece of lemon cake. Nothing too special. Then again, Zeke never considered himself to be very special. His book wasn't anything too interesting-----to anyond but himself, that is-----as it was just the entire history of Hogwarts. Boring to most people, but then again, Zeke had always been seen as a bit boring. That's just how he was, though. Quiet and studious. Besides, the courtyard was rather relaxing and soothing at this time of day. Of course, there was another student-----Victor-----nearby, but Zeke didn't mind. He just didn't like crowds, but a couple people were fine.《《

Bion escaped down to the quidditch field and thought about stealing his broom. But the boy wasn't foolish. He knew he shouldn't fly alone. If he was to fall, no one would be there to make sure he got up and he sure didn't trust himself to stay low to the ground. So, he sat on the grass. Surely, he wouldn't be the only one to show up. He wouldn't even mind if they were a Gryffindor or Slytherin. He just wanted to get on a broom again, as weird as that was. Well, it wasn't so odd considering his grandparents didn't allow broom, flying ones, in the house. Bion couldn't help but crack a smile when he remembered his grandparents' utter bafflement. They didn't really say anything, but did give that disapproving frown. Bion sighed and flopped down. At least it was the school year. The classes would be hard with the N.E.W.T., but those exchange students were here. Bion snorted at the mental image of the older students standing around the first years like giants. It had to be the most entertaining sorting. Teachers struggling to say the names of the foreign students and then the exchange students looking confused as they received their houses coupled to make a terrific show. Not that it was that funny, but Bion was pretty much excited to be back. Anything would excite him that night. He sighed. He was out of things to think about and no one had shown up. The male let out another sigh.
---
Morgan made his way to the great hall, or at least that was his goal. Sadly, the first year was lost in minutes. The moving staircase and lack of maps made for a terrible mix. It was a wonder anyone got anywhere in the castle. He huffed thinking about demanding a map, if he ever got back. Or maybe he should just wait. In those muggle survivor shows, the person always said waiting was important. Morgan couldn't wait here. First, he would die from all the dust. He didn't even need the light to see the clouds of dust lingering in the air. The cobwebs were black with dust. There was only shards of light filtering through boarded up windows. Morgan suddenly wished for an open window or something to cover his mouth. He blindly shuffled around the room until he reach a door. Locked. Of course, why wouldn't it be locked? There was a spell for this. Morgan blindly reached for his wand only to drop it. After blindly searching for it for a couple more minutes, he deemed it lost. Great Merlin, could this get any worse? He would have to find a way out the traditional muggle way. Morgan pounded on the door with his fist. "Hello?" He called, not quite ready to admit defeat and call for help.
---
Victor finished his crêpe quickly. Even he had to admit, if there was one thing Hogwarts could do right, it was their food. It was a true miracle the students weren't rolling themselves from the Great Hall every day. He should have gotten an extra crêpe, because he was still hungry and didn't want to go back inside the castle. He looked around, hoping to distract himself. To his surprise, there was a boy next to him. Victor hadn't even noticed him. His mind struggled to come up with a name for the boy's house. He knew it was the smart one. Was the one with the bird? Raventalon? Eagleclaw? Something like that. Well, he didn't need to know the boy's house to talk with him. Victor just hope it wasn't against the rules to mingle with people outside of his house. "Hello." He said simply with a small wave. His French accent mingled with the English word a bit, but someone could tell what he saying. "My name is Victor LeFevre. I won't force you to try to pronounce my last name, so call me Victor." He smiled.
