Yeah, Sims is expensive. I've gotten all of my expansion packs and such through birthday/Christmas in the general December extravaganza because I can never think of anything I want other than Sims expansion packs and Harry Potter merch.

I decided to take two honors classes and an AP class and I'm in 10th grade so there's that, and my middle school offered Japanese 1 for eighth grade, so I'm in Japanese 3 now. Next year I'll be taking classes at a college rather than a high school, so it'll probably get worse from there. I have a friend taking three AP classes next year.
Sims 3 had a lot better options, yeah, but the graphics were horrible. They just tried way too hard making them seem realistic and it ended up horrible.

Wow, good luck! I'm taking one AP class next year in math and don't really know how it's going to go.
Just looked up some Sims 3 graphics and... yeah, that's pretty bad. Sims 4 does have way better graphics.
I'm going to ~attempt to write~ so if I'm poofy that's why. If I respond instantly after people reply it probably means I'm procrastinating.

One AP class will probably be better than literally everyone I know taking at least two APs next year. My only AP class next year would have been English, but all my classes will be done at the college, so no AP tests for me thank god.

It's Advanced Placement. Basically, the classes are like twice as hard to prepare you for college classes. (Except I have two siblings in college and both of them are like "high school lies. School was a lot easier when I started doing college full time")

Wow hello I completely forgot to respond last night (which, since I wrote some things, might not be a terrible thing?)
I have an essay I kind of feel like I should write tonight and wanted to get done over the weekend, but I will procrastinate putting that off until after dinner and then we'll see. aha.
I hope university courses are less difficult than high school! I am, so far, surviving, so it would be a relief if it does not get much more difficult past this point.

DO YOUR ESSAY (I finished my essay last night but I didn't turn it in because my teacher kept putting the essays on the board to make the whole lass fix and I was like "lol no" so now he thinks I didn't do my homework)
Well, obviously it's going to reach a point where it's more difficult, but I think there's also a lot more freedom, which takes the edge off a little? I know that college students still run on like three hours of sleep lol, but they also seem to find college better than high school, so who knows really?

Man, I hope college's easier than high school. I mean, school's not really that hard for me right now, since I'm only in 9th grade, but it has been in the past, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna get worse. I guess I'll find out soon, since my brother's going to college soon, as I've said before (I think?), so I'll ask him about it when he gets there.

No but they're very good on college applications. You could completely skip out on AP classes, but chances of getting accepted into a good college would be higher with AP classes on your record.
School wasn't hard for me last year either, and then this year happened and I completely crashed and now I'm trying to build my grades back up. I'm in 10th grade. This is so not cool. *sigh*

I was always told by about every guidance counselor person ever that AP classes didn't really add value? Then again they also told me I could take social 30-2 (which is a lower stream of social studies, is a lot easier) because it wouldn't affect me when... yes... it really would...
School was pretty easy for me in grade 10, and now that I'm in grade 11 it's getting a little more difficult but I'm still managing. I'm pretty sure that will change next year with one AP course and more diploma courses, sigh.

Idk how it is where you live, but I went to this college thing today and yes, APs do affect me because the colleges I want to go to look into what I did in high school and they all said they looked at what APs I take. Leadership, advanced classes, clubs, anything beyond the minimum requirement for high school is what colleges are looking for in my state at least.
I'm only taking one AP and I'm dying. It's my worst grade. I had a C last semester, but luckily that's risen to a B, but I still have to study some more because I have an AP test in two months. Yay...

I mean you can still get a job and whatever even if you're homeschooled, so yeah. I'm just trying to get into a good college, and one of my main choices is a really large university in my state so it has a lot of requirements.

Wow, I guess I'm pretty lucky then? The major university in my city that I plan on going into doesn't really look at AP courses, I think it just looks at your overall average (or else every counselor person I've ever talked to is a liar.) I'm fairly sure that the course I plan on going into (computer science) has a early-mid eighties average for early admission, which I can pretty easily manage.

The universities here look at my GPA, my APs, and whatever other requirements they have and I really want to get into the good college. I don't want to go to the community college (though I'm going to the community college for my first two years because it's a part of this early college program type thing) because it has mostly science and math majors and I'm most likely gonna end up majoring in Creative Writing, and the good university has that one and a lot more to do. If not, I might end up applying to a college on the other side of the state because the town it's in is like, 2/3 students and you don't really have to drive anywhere, but it'd be a lot more difficult to transfer there.
I think I have spring break in like two weeks. I've been stuck in a biology lab group full of people I hate who I'm pretty sure also hate me, so that's always fun. I've decided I hate photosynthesis and cell respiration and I'm going to fail my test next week. And I'm pretty sure I failed my Japanese test today. Ugh.
