You're totally the only one who's finished Moon. I don't have the time, haha. I haaate level grinding but I do it because one time I tried to beat a game with severely underleveled Pokemon and it was not fun. But I keep EXP share too so.
And no, you're not, but that's because I stole my brother's 3DS in December and haven't given it back and he hasn't asked. I don't actually own a 3DS.

Ahaha... I guess I've had more free time than I thought. Anyway, if you think Pokemon level grinding is bad, you'd hate Disgaea and Fire Emblem. Compared to those, Pokemon is a cakewalk. ...Just saying.
Oh! Okay. That's fine, because we're friends here, and that's good enough. xD
Also. My mom found this Japanese class thing, and she gave the teacher a maybe. So that's cool! No promises, though.

Trust me, I already knew about Fire Emblem.
We'll see if my brother ever asks for his 3DS back. Technically, I also have his DSi which I never gave back after three years, so who even knows?
I can help you if you do end up taking the class. Trust me, it's difficult, but you might have an easier time than I did. My teacher taught my class with no crutches and his own experience living in Japan, so it was significantly more difficult for my class than other Japanese classes in the state.

Oh, heh heh. Do you have any FE games?
Does your brother not play video games much?
By "no crutches," do you mean no romaji, or what?
Am I asking too many questions?

No, but my friend does. She plays a lot and tried to get me to play her game, but I was confused and slightly frustrated, so I settled for watching her play.
He does, but he has an XBOX and a Wii he can play. Also, he's pretty busy with college and work so he doesn't actually have all that much time.
Romaji, and also apparently a lot of classes don't teach kanji in first year. And my teacher teaches us proper grammar because the textbook can occasionally be inaccurate.
Lol, you're fine.
Completely off topic, but I just spent the whole day making an RP and I'm finally done but now I need to format it and actually post it.

Which game was it?
Oh. Makes sense. My brother's gonna go to college soon, but I'm pretty sure he'll make sure he has a significant amount of time for video games. xD
Hmm. I actually kinda hope I learn kanji pretty early into it. Y'know, get the hard parts done first. xP How bad is kanji, anyway? I've seen quite a few (I think?) people complaining about how hard it is.
Ooh, what kind of RP?

I completely forget. Whoops.
Well, he should have more time depending on his classes and if he has a job or not, so good luck with that.
You never stop learning kanji oh my god. There's at least 2000 and I'm nowhere near knowing that many. I'm in third year and I don't think I even know a hundred. Also there's so many different pronunciations for the same kanji and the same pronunciation for different kanji and it's just so complicated. Wait, correction, I do know more than a hundred. Just last semester I learned like fifty new kanji.
It's a superhero one! Mostly based on DCU because I'm total trash for DCU.

3DS.
Omg. My friend's brother is like 20-something and he doesn't know how to drive, so I guess that's not that strange.
*pats head* You're probably better off with Spanish. Japanese is just a million types of complicated.

Then it was either Awakening or Fates! Unless there's some old FE game that was ported to the 3DS Eshop that I don't know about...
Gosh. I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't allow my brother to go that long without knowing how to drive. o-o'
But my brother took Spanish and I wanna be originaaal! Also, there's some video game songs that I haven't found translations for yet, so I wanna translate them myseelf! :,(:,(:,(

Actually I think it was both lol. They both sound familiar and honestly I wouldn't put it past her to have both.
I think he's learning? He spent a lot of time just kind sleeping and doing nothing after college so.
Take French? Or ASL? Or even German? Okay probably not German. German is rough on the throat. As for the video game songs, it'll probably take like ten years for you to actually be able to translate things accurately. It's been three years and grammar still confuses me and I still only know basic stuff.

American Sign Language. My school teaches it and it's pretty cool. I haven't learned any of it though. I try to learn too many languages so I never got around to it.

Ahhhh, my homeschool co-op teaches sign language... but I don't want to take it, because during the assembly Bible reading, somebody has to come up to the stage in front of everyone and translate what the talking person is saying. And at the end of the school year, all of the class translates a song in front of more than everyone because everyone's families come to see the end of the school year. I don't like doing embarrassing things in front of a lot of people. :,/
Also, who's the person in your avatar, by the way?
(also my computer logs off in three minutes because parental controls controlling parents stuff sorry :[)

Ohh then yeah don't do that. Having to translate stuff in front of people is horrible. French is still a pretty common option though!
The person is just a random OC I drew. I haven't decided on her name at all, but she's a runaway princess, hehe.
Yikes. Goodnight, I guess? Controlling parents suck.

Hello, I had an exam yesterday on the course I'm taking online so I had to go in to the center right after school and do the exam on the computer. (TWO essays! 25 multiple choice questions! Two and a half hours! I did not know this!) Then, when I'm halfway through my first essay, the computer decides it absolutely has to shut down in fifteen minutes for routine updates and there was no way around it. Luckily the staff there managed to save what I'd already done so I could do the rest on word, but it was very stressful. There were fifteen minutes or so where I was just sitting in the exam center staring at a blank screen. It was pretty terrible, but I think I did pretty well regardless.

Oh my god that must have been stressful. I can't imagine. (Actually I can sort of. I had a test a few weeks ago that was entirely on the computer and my internet wasn't working. Luckily there were paper copies or else I would have died) I sincerely hope you did do well!
I slept until 11 this morning and immediately after started reading and I finished the book like an hour ago and I'm still in shock.

It was pretty stressful. At the very least I knew that it wasn't my fault, and worst case scenario I'd have to either do that test again or do the appeal exam (which I wouldn't REALLY mind, I don't mind tests, but the exam center is only open Mondays to Fridays 8-4:30 which means I can only go Fridays after school when it lets out early.) I hope I did well as well.
Nice! I woke up at 9 ish and did absolutely nothing productive. I just played the Sims for most of the day. This is why I stopped playing the Sims for a while because now I am playing it again and I can't find the motivation to do anything else. I did run through the new Pirates of the Caribbean song we're playing in band and it is pretty difficult and I'm not sure if I'm playing the first or second flute part yet. The first is about an octave higher than the second, so I don't know if I want to play it or not yet. Oh well~ Was the book good?

Hopefully they understand if you need to retake it. When something like that happens, the brain tends to lose focus and it's just hard to get going again.
Ah the Sims. That's one of the games that you play nonstop for two days and then get bored with and don't pick up again until it's been six months and you have nothing to do and the cycle just continues.
The book was really good but the ending was just shocking and really emotional. It wasn't happy, but it wasn't sad either and I love it and hate it.

I was pretty drained by the end of the second essay, but luckily the marker who has marked all my course work so far is pretty easy and I've gotten 100% on all my assignments so far?? Even when I know I didn't deserve it?? So hopefully he's marking my essays.
I definitely agree with that. I've been playing the Sims a lot the past week when I didn't have social studies work because I had the excuse of ~studying~ even when I didn't, and I can't seem to allow myself to stop playing it. sigh.
Books like that are very good! What was it called?

I'm sure he is. They have no reason to suddenly change your marker.
Speaking of studying, I have to do that too, haha. I have a lot of homework that I haven't done, and one of them is an essay entirely in Japanese.....
The Secret History. It's from 1992, actually, and it's incredibly dark. Like super dark. I was a little disturbed and it isn't easy to make me disturbed by book plots, so it was really interesting.

I also have some amount of homework to do that I probably won't be able to do much of tomorrow, but oh well! Procrastination! Good luck on the essay; I can't imagine writing something entirely in another language.
Ooh, that does sound interesting. I really, really need to read more.

I... have not started my homework (which as far as I know is just a chem worksheet but I feel like I'm missing something?) and also have done nothing productive this weekend and can feel myself sinking back into that weird unproductive mood where I can do nothing but sleep and surf the internet

Hi!
That book sounds pretty cool, Dawn. I'm gonna go look it up!
...I have the Sims Freeplay app on my iPod, and I haven't played it in a long while. That happens sometimes. But when I pick it back up, it's pretty much the only app I use. Then I drop it again. So yes, Dawn. You are right.
You should probably finish that homework, people! You might get yelled at or something!

My mom made a deal with me that I could have a pop if I finished my chem worksheet, so that motivated me pretty effectively as I want to have this pop before it gets too late so I can actually try writing something. It may not work, but at least I'll get the worksheet done!
I had Sims Freeplay before I got Sims 4. It was pretty fun but I hated waiting for so long so I'm pretty sure all my Sims died. I like Sims 4 a lot more.

I won't get yelled at, but I'll definitely fail my classes. I have that Japanese essay, eighteen pages of notes, and an additional nine pages of reading + questions. So I'm gonna die.
Stream, the book can get pretty disturbing sometimes, so proceed with caution.
I want a Sims game with the graphics of Sims 4 and the options of Sims 3

Your classes sound so much more difficult than mine. I pretty much never have homework, and these are grade eleven/twelve classes? I honestly wish I had more work because university is going to hit me with the force of a small truck.
I haven't played Sims 3 but I hear it had a lot of better options, and from my (minimal) research it sounds even more interesting. I got a new laptop recently and the graphics on Sims 4 improved a lot, so yeah, the graphics are pretty great. My friend says it takes her twenty minutes or something to load Sims 3 so I think it's faster too.
