When I contacted her through ff.net recently, she said that she was pretty busy with things. I don't know with what yet, though.
Things are pretty good! I found this cool thread about Christianity. People (both Christians and not) get together and talk about Christianity. It's kind of slow right now, but it's cool. It's called "Saccurateland" right now, if you're interested. I don't really know why it's called that, but it just is. xD Also, I watched The Secret Life of Pets last night. It was cool.

I'd imagine it'd probably be something school related. The workload can be quite overwhelming at times.
Yes, I think I've seen that thread around! I'm not religious so I don't think I'd really be able to participate, but I'm glad you're enjoying it!
I really liked The Secret Life of Pets! I ended up accidentally watching it the day before it officially came out, but I was pretty excited because animals are great. I do think they could have done the plot a bit differently and so much of it was the exact same as the trailer that I wasn't really surprised, but every time I see a cat I enjoy it immensely!

Hello! School is still technically busy, so don't worry about it! I forgot to respond to the old group chat for months as well sooo I am also sorry.
I'm doing pretty well, am keeping up on coursework but barely, have a bio unit final tomorrow and a social studies online midterm I have to write after school on Friday sigh. Also am very very far behind on my writing goals! I'm supposed to be at something like 60,000 at the end of this month but am only at 10,000? I am doing Camp NaNoWriMo though so I should be able to get close to catching up then.

I could never have the patience for NaNoWriMo. I've just been starting project after project after project and there's no end in sight. It took me something like nine months to write 40k words bc I just kept writing other things and yeah.
I just started a new bio unit, I have an AP test to register for, Japanese is a horrible language to learn, and my math teacher doesn't know how to teach nor has she put in the grades for our last test. I also had a bio test on Thursday that I still don't know my grade on.
Also I need new books even though I have like five I'm supposed to be reading right now.

Strangely enough I only am productive during NaNoWriMo. My real life friend did it for the first time this year and whenever she started surpassing me I'd freak out and write a whole bunch as a result so I could beat her, and it ended up working very well for the both of us. A+ friendship, right here.
Oh no, that is a lot of things. What are you learning in bio? I'd be interested to see if it's similar stuff to what I'm learning right now.
I really need to read more. I am really bad at starting new books/finishing current books/reading in general for some reason. I have no motivation or time to read anymore, and it's kind of upsetting because I am well aware that I should be reading more but I can't bring myself to actually do it.

Oh I get that. My motivation for finishing things is "I have to be better than everyone else" so yeah lol. Like my friend is reading the prequel to a book I'm reading and I'm like "I have to finish this before she finishes the first one"
I'm learning about photosynthesis and stuff like that. My last unit was evolution, which made a whole lot more sense than all this stuff. I had to read like five pages of our textbook and take notes and I didn't understand any of it. >.<

Same here! It is very effective for getting stuff done and as long as I don't read anything she writes and think it's better than mine I will be fine! (Seriously, I will be so upset if she writes better than I do. I've been writing for ten years! I'm supposed to be better than this!)
Oh no, photosynthesis. I learned about that last semester. I drew so many diagrams, which helped a lot for me, but it was still probably the most difficult unit that semester.

Ugh, I totally get it. Like, I encourage my friends to pursue what they want, but one time I was at a club and the president (who's my friend) was like "oh we have some really great writers in here." I was totally prepared to preen and act embarrassed, but they didn't even look at me and instead listed off two other people (one of which was my other friend) and I was like "um excuse you"
I would draw diagrams but the textbook pictures are so confusing??? I hate learning about cells. (And next year I have chemistry, which I'm totally gonna fail at. I had a short, basic chemistry unit last year in physical science and none of it made sense, but that may have been because my teacher was fresh out of college and bad at teaching)
Hi Stream. Yes, I'm very competitive. I have this thing about being better than everyone else, and that's my only motivation for learning how to do things and taking too many difficult classes as a sophomore.

My teacher made us draw something like five diagrams on many separate occasions (including one time where we, as a class, had to model the whole photosynthesis thing) and it was very helpful! She didn't do that for cellular respiration though and it was only by luck that I managed to get through it.
I also have a thing about being better than everyone else. In my bio class I have two ex-friends who I didn't really end a friendship with but just kind of stopped talking to even though we went to the same school and one of them is way smarter than me and usually gets the academic achievement awards for the grade etcetera. I got 100% on a test that she got one wrong on and I was delighted for the rest of the day (even though I know that's probably not the nicest thing to think?? Oh well.)
I am very sick (although I am feeling a bit better now, hence why I am using the computer) and have missed school all of today and yesterday afternoon and I am freaking out about how far behind I must be. I missed two bio classes (and we're learning about the reproductive system, which is... not something I really mind missing but I know I should probably learn it because I will put off looking at diagrams of genitalia for as long as humanly possible unless forced to) and two comp sci classes and a chemistry quiz. And I have my social studies online midterm tomorrow afternoon so I can't be sick!

Last week I had this quiz thing where I had to read a source and then show evidence to support it and I was one of the few who interpreted it correctly and so I got an A on it and I was so smug. Unfortunately, I somehow??? made friends with like, all the people that either a) know how to actually study and do work, or  constantly procrastinate and yet still get As on literally everything. One of my friends literally leaves off her work and does it at four in the morning and she still has better grades than me and I'm so mad about it. Yikes, hope you feel a lot better for your midterm! Meanwhile, I have a mock trial in my AP world history class and I'm not excited. I would be more relaxed about it, except I'm the defendant on trial for the murder and torture of thousands and I was forced into that role. I also have to write an essay entirely in Japanese. Ugh. |

Oh, it's going good. My family bought ourselves a house recently, and we're currently trying to get rid of stuff so we don't have to pack things we're never going to use. so pretty much I'm trying to sell some of my old stuff so I can get the money for a Nintendo Switch and Breath of the Wild The house we're moving into is right next to a horse farm. Our backyard fence is literally a horse pasture fence. It's awesome. |

I've heard great things about Breath of the Wild. I should get back into Legend of Zelda, but I have zero money. I've settled for Pokemon Moon.
And that's pretty cool. There's a horse place near my neighborhood. It's really weird because like, there's just this one single stable for horses on the hill next to the road. I've never gone near it, but we pass by it when we're driving and there have been horses there all my life. It's not a very conventional place for horses, but whatever.

Moon's pretty good, huh?! Are there a lot of horses there, or just a few? also, there's a toy series called "Littlest Pet Shop," and some of the toys (especially the older ones, it seems) are extremely valuable for some reason. like, there's this one set called "Raceabout Ranch," and people put it on Ebay with prices ranging from, like, $50 to $160. ...And people buy it for the listed price. It's insane. |

That sounds really familiar. I think I might know it, but I don't remember. I think it was a super popular series and there were websites and everything for it. I might have had a few littlest pet shop things before. That's probably why it's so valuable.

I think it's probably popular because of people making YouTube series with the toys. Like, a really notable example would be somebody called "sophiegtv." She made a whole bunch of 'em. And I watched them when I was younger lololol don't judge me. I actually recently looked her up again out of morbid curiosity, and she's still going! One of the animals that go with that valuable set I mentioned actually shows up in her series "Popular," (heh heh irony) so that's probably why it goes for such crazy prices. Ya know. Just in case you were curious. ^n^''

My mock trial's in like three weeks so I have time but it's a HUGE part of my grade so that also doesn't help.
My yt experience is still just gamers and the famous ones, so I wouldn't know anything about that.
I haven't played Moon in a while so I was actually a little confused as to who Lillie even is but now I remember. I don't have much of an opinion on her, tbh.

Sorry I kept dropping out, am currently working on a last minute lab project with a partner through google docs which is about as fun as it sounds.
