"Hm, I suppose that makes sense. Though, I can think of many small sailing vessels that are more durable than a raft," Arana replied with a smile. "Is this the first time that raft of yours has been damaged this much?" she asked. As she returned her attention to Matogai, her eyes glanced over her empty glass sitting on a small table beside the lounge chair and she touched her hands together. "I nearly forgot my hospitality, may we get you anything to eat or drink while you're sailing with us?"

Tatsuo let out a laugh. "Heh, don't let Raiden hear you call 'im that! You'll be fried on the spot!" he said. He let out a sigh and looked out at the ocean. "I only wanted to have a little chat with my old pal, but I didn't expect him to go all overboard like this... No, actually, I shoulda seen it coming," he went on, smirking. He reached up and scratched at the back of his head. "And knowing Rai's temper... well, you guys might want to be prepared..."
"W-What?" The crewmate looked up fearfully at his captain, wondering just how the man could still be smiling at a time like this.
Tatsuo gave the younger man a pat on the shoulder and a reassuring grin. "Don't worry about it, 'kay?"
"I - I dunno the exact number... but even if I did, I'd never tell you!" Shuji replied. To further prove his point he quickly resumed eating to have an excuse not to speak for a little longer.
Raiden turned to Masaki with a slight smile. "Tatsuo has one large main ship. I believe it's the only one he has unless he's expanded since I last saw him," he said. "As much as it pains me to say it, I wouldn't underestimate his firepower. Of the crew or the ship."

"I'm the one trying to help you here!" Calli snapped, crossing her arms. As they approached the new group she quickly switched to a cheery smile. "Uh, hi!" she greeted.
"Hello!" came the reply from Scarlet. "That's an interesting way to travel," she added with a laugh.
Kyoden looked at the girl being carried and shook his head. "I'm not even going to ask," he murmured. "So, you were yelling something about coating?"
"Oh, uh, yeah! I live here, so I can help you! Also, this guy needs a ship!" Calli chirped, pointing to Arthur.

You wanted Nakazo to face off with Paloma right? Maybe the one she's heading to can be the one with him? The ship with Hayle and Kana can aim for the island or Melody's ship... or vice-versa if you don't want to just be rp-ing with yourself xD]]
"My apologies." Melody flinched slightly as her mace was deflected, and retracted the chain as it formed back into her arm. She paused a moment after Marcus' explanation, and her body took on a light silver metallic sheen. "Yes, but you see, am I made of metal. I would like to see you try and pierce it." She took a moment to glance back over her shoulder. She could tell there was some sort of new commotion going on but was too far away to tell what it was. Dash should be pushing the button soon, I will need to finish this up quickly.
Dash lifted his hand in a salute and nodded. "Righto, vice-admiral. We shall do our best to search and destroy!" he replied, hanging up the snail just as Paloma left on the other side. He turned to his colleague and placed a hand on his hip. "Alright, you heard the lady, search and destroy!" he repeated.
"Y-Yessir!" the man replied before scurrying off.
Hmm, I'm wondering how much further we should go without Rain before pausing some things...]]

Matogai let out a huff "No, that was my 18th. I don't get a ship because they tend to break whenever I run into other pirates. It's frustrating, but this is the easiest solution at the moment." He looked over at the glass she was looking at and squinted "Might as well, but if there's a trace of poison in anything, you and your ship are as good as done for." It was hard to tell if he was serious by the lax tone of his voice, but there was hints that it was supposed to be a joke, like the light twitch of the side of his mouth.
"If he heard that, he wouldn't dare to attack" Ursa laughed. "Makes it seem like Sparkplug is a bit paranoid about something so small as a chat, don't you think? But we can't be too careful, can we?" When he said to be prepared, Ursa smirked "Prepared isn't the best way to put it. Honestly, I've been itching for some big conflict for a while. Fixing a ship can get pretty boring."
(Going to need to remind myself to do a height chart and colors for my characters lol they really need it)

Arthur looked at the people and said," what the girl said is right I need a ship, which you have." Arthur then pointed at them and said," so I think I will hitch a ride with you."
Marcus looked at her and with a sigh said," you might be made of metal but with enough force and speed a drill can burrow through almost anything." Marcus then stopped his drills spinning and said," look I know we both rather not get into a big fight so why don't we both calm down and have a chat." Marcus knew this was a risky plan but he just wanted to buy as much time as he could, while not risking his own hide in the process.

"Well clearly he has expanded if he sent this guy on his own ship" Masaki said to Raifen as he hid his smile as he watched Shuji continue to eat the food "Okay then how about this, why did Tatsuo send you? What was he planning when he sent you?"
(So I have a plan on how to get both ships to the island maybe the one with Nakazo ends up sinking I don't know yet though. I don't mine rping by myself for a few though just give me a bit to type something up for Nakazo vs Paloma though)

Nakazo could sense Paloma quickly approaching his ship and he drew his sword in anticipation. With one hand he shot a few bullet sized balls of solar fire over to where he sensed Paloma. Only one hit Paloma though it almost seemed like it disappeared or absorbed it.
Paloma landed not too long after on the ship "Its been a while since we last met face to face traitor" she said as her hand turned into a demon-like claw shrouded in black flames "You've got a lot of nerve coming here so soon after abandoning your duties as a marine"
Nakazo shrouded his sword in armament haki as he readied himself for Paloma's first strike "Because what is being done here is wrong. Just because there is a revolutionary here does not call for the destruction of an entire island or population of this island." he said
Paloma launched herself forward at high an even greater speed than she had used to get to the ship as she used her flames to propel herself forward as she swung her claw at Nakazo only for it to barely be blocked by Nakazo who had been caught slightly off guard by the speed of her attack. Paloma's other hand turned into an exact match of her other hand as she started to attack with both hands as she started to pressure Nakazo
Nakazo had barely any time to react or think at the moment with how fast Paloma was attacking him and with his other sword still in its sheath. He needed to find an opening which was near impossible when he was fighting someone with more experience in head to head combat than him. Nakazo had dealt with assasination more than actual fighting so he was at a clear disadvantage

Arana's eyes widened. "Eighteen?" she blurted out. After clearing her throat she looked at Matogai and dipped her head. "Sorry, I wasn't expecting that number... although, I suppose it would make sense for out on the Grand Line. At that point I say it'd be easier to just get a boat and repair it, but I'm not here to lecture." She chuckled and pushed a strand of hair behind one ear. She waltzed over and picked up the empty glass, calling forth a crew member to take it back to the kitchen. "I give you my word, there will be not a drop of poison in anything. You would not be the only one on my case if that were to happen. Now, are you in the mood for anything in particular?"

"Haha! That's the spirit, Ursa!" Tatsuo bellowed. The look on his face showed just how eager the man was beginning to feel after all this time spent waiting. "I was wondering what was keeping Shuji from contacting us, we've been waiting here for how long now? I'm not surprised you're starting to get bored," he said with a smirk. Eyeing his weapon leaned against a nearby wall he let out a chuckle. "I dunno if paranoid is the right word - maybe more like full of himself - and we are kinda in his territory, which would explain the ships. Heh, Shuji probably did something too."
It took Shuji a few moments to reply as he took his time with a few more bites. Once the plate was cleared he returned his attention to his captors. "Cap just said he wanted to get your attention or something, wanted to meet up with you," he answered.
Raiden's eyes narrowed. "That's it? You're one of his trusted officers and that is all he told you?" Needless to say, he was not satisfied with Shuji's answer. He highly doubted that this whole situation was just the premise for a friendly chat. "Is it so difficult to simply deliver a direct message?"

Kyoden and Scarlet both regarded Arthur with wide eyes and were speechless for just a moment. Scarlet was the first to break the ice. "Do you just need to hitch a ride to somewhere or something? We can do that," she said with a smile.
"Whoa, hold on," Kyoden interrupted. He held a hand up in front of Scarlet and narrowed his eyes at Arthur and Calli. "We just met you, how can we be sure we can even trust you? You're looking a whole lot like a kidnapper right now," he said to Arthur.
"Kyo, we're pirates, we don't really have the right to be making this argument right now..." Scarlet whispered.

Melody raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "A chat? I have nothing to talk about with an ex-bounty hunter," she said bluntly. Long sharp spikes emerged from her forearm once more and she took a couple steps closer. "You may not want to be in this situation, but I am simply doing my job, so it makes no difference to me."
From where he stood on the Revolutionary ship, Hayle turned once he heard the sounds of a fight. His eyes fell upon the bright glare of flames on one of the marine ships, and in the next moment he realized that that was the ship Nakazo had just landed on. Squinting, he tried to make out the identity of Nakazo's opponent. The first thing he noticed was the white hair which left two options, and neither of which were good.
"Sir! The other marine ships are starting to prepare their cannons!" A fellow revolutionary replied. "What should we do?"
Hayle gritted his teeth and balled one hand into a fist as he made hsi decision. "Press forward, we have no time to offer backup for Nakazo."

Marcus glared at her and said," I was doing my job as well you know, I was told to find the revolutionary here and I paid for my service by being told that I am on my own with a buster call initiated!" Marcus then mad both his arms turn into large drills and began to walk towards her. While doing this he said," you know I am not doing this because I think their cause is right and yours not, I am only doing this because I don't feel like dieing today."
Arthur glared at the man who put his hand in front of his face and said," I suggest if you wish to keep that hand you best keep it away from my face." Arthur then looked down at the girl he was carrying and said," the girl is of use to me so I keep her with me."

She shook her head "he's probably think this whole 'talk' is just a trap and attack." Kuren sat upright in a chair on the deck of the Vice Admiral's ship. She gently held a drink in her hand as she looked out at all the other ships of the Buster Call. She let out a sigh, somewhat impatient. "Wouldn't it be simpler to just fire now?" She muttered to herself, looking down at her drink. Despite that, she wasn't about to go disobeying the Admiral's orders. |

Masaki sighed "If thats really the truth, where did he want to meet us? And if you were looking for us, why even other fighting back when you could have surrendered right away. It could have been a lot less messy if you had just told us from the beginning" he said as he pinched the bridge of his nose "Would have saved your crew from the pain as well"
One of the higher ranked soldiers on the ship was currently attending, shook his head "No ma'am it wouldnt make much of a difference whether we fired now or an hour from now.The end result would still be the same with the island and its population being destroyed" he said

Kuren didn't seem to respond to the soldier's response as she was staring out. She then waved her hand, indicating she had heard "I understand." She had to trust the Admiral was making the right choice in this situation. "Any word from the Admiral?" She questioned.

"Trust me, I do not allow anything rotten on this ship, whether it be food or company," she said with a light chuckle. Letting out a sigh and lightly tapped her cheek. "Well, we just had lunch and happen to have some leftover sea king sushi. Does that work for you?"

Tatsuo reached up and stretched his arms. "Probably. Heh, Shuji's a stubborn kid with a temper to match Rai. So, if I didn't know any better I'd say the kid probably tried to pick a fight with 'im or something." Tatsuo laughed, but it ended with a sigh. "Aw man Shuji... that means Raiden's gonna be sailing in here in quite a mood... Guys, better get the cannons ready!"
Shuji turned away in a huff, not wanting to admit to his own stubbornness. Tatsuo had clearly instructed him just to deliver the message and leave, but he wanted to make sure this Raiden guy was worthy of being Tatsuo's rival. "Tatsuo just said that Raiden would know the place when I mentioned his name," he said finally.
Raiden's eyes widened and as he opened his mouth to speak a call came in on his transponder snail. "Yeah? Ah, you found them? .... Excellent, just where I thought," he said, then ending the call. "Masaki, put the cuffs back on the kid. I need to go relay our destination to the navigator."

Kyoden drew his hand back and glared in return at Arthur. "Huh? We're the ones with the ship you want to hitch a ride on! You think my mind's gonna change with a threat like that?!" he snapped.
"Whoa whoa, hang on guys," Scarlet said, stepping in between the two. "Let's start this over and do things the right way, shall we? I would like to make it to the New World in One Piece," she said, snorting at her bad joke. She turned to offer a smile to the new pair. "Hi! I'm Scarlet. This grumpy fella here is our captain Kyoden. Those two right there are the twins Kuina and Able. We are currently the pirates without a name!"
Calli glanced at Arthur before responding. "I'm Calli! I live here, and was helping this guy find a ship!"

"And I am merely doing my job as well," Melody stated. There was a lack of enthusiasm or emotion in her voice as she faced Marcus. "Sometimes you receive an order that may be dangerous or even life-threatening. The world is a cruel place, you just need to get used to it," she went on, speaking from experience. She held her arms out in front and formed them into large shields.
Dash kept looking between the island and his watch. "Just two more minutes... and Melody's not back yet," he murmured. He was hoping desperately that she would return before it was time to press the button. "Well, this is Melody we're talking about. I'm sure she can handle a couple cannon balls..."

Arthur looked at all the people as they were introduced to him and when they were done he said," my name is Arthur and I am a pirate without a crew." Arthur then groaned and said,"now we have all meet each other let's move on."
Marcus growled and said," well when you contract someone you should just leave them high and dry!" Marcus then started to spin both his drills as he jabbed them into her shield."

When Arana mentioned the sushi, he gave a little flick of the wrist "I'm not much of a picky eater, so go ahead. Honestly, getting food prepared like how it should be is a bit refreshing." Saying that, Matogai was reminded of the last time he tried to cook. It was just BBQ Sea King, but he had somehow managed incinerate his raft. That was his 6th raft gone and he was left floating in the ocean for a couple of days. - Ursa slowly nodded, deciding this was a bit of a rough situation. "Lets hope his temper blows over before he tries to kill us, though, I doubt that will do us any good." She leaned against the wall, offering a slight grin "upside, the cannons are in tip-top shape. Rai will have a nasty wake-up call if he tries anything." |

Masaki sighed "You're an idiot Shuji" he said "He is a yonkou with a massive fleet. All the captains in his fleet respect him for his strength among other things and would willingly put down their lives for him." he said as he started to put the cuffs back on Shuji "This should be interesting though considering you had some veritaserum mixed on with your food. It will be quite amusing to see how you act around your captain while being forced to tell the truth"
"Not yet ma'am" the soldier said to Kuren "Though we will begin firing in a mere two minutes as per Admiral Melody's instructions" the soldier said

Nakazo was still on the defensive as Paloma kept trying to claw him though she still hadn't managed to hit him yet. Nakazo was still looking for an opening in her attack and finally managed to spot one. Nakazo kicked out with his left leg before drawing both swords and held them so that they made a diagonal line. Nakazo closed both his eyes before he spoke "Ittoryu: Gin Tatsu (One sword style: Silver Dragon)" he said as he slashed with the sword in his right hand before spinning around and slashing with his other "Ittoryu: Kin Tatsu" he said as both blades sent waves of compressed air towards Paloma in the form of two cyclones
Paloma thrust out her hands as she caught both whirlwinds and winced at the force that they were spinning. She was getting pushed back and was nearly at the bow before she stopped herself. If she didnt have haki covering her hands at the moment, her arms would have most likely been shredded as soon as it had made contact "This. Is. Nothing" Paloma said through gritted teeth as she used both her flames and her strength to toss the cyclones up into the sky and let out a sigh "Is that the best you got?" she taunted
Nakazo got back into his stance "Not even close" he said "Though I was hoping that that attack would at least take you to the island"

Arana clapped her hands together with a pleased smile. "Perfect, we will get a nice big plate to you right away," she said, gesturing to one of her crew. "So, in the meantime..." A fluttering of wings interrupted her sentence and she looked up to see a sea gull diving down towards them. It flew in a low arc and dropped a rolled up paper in Arana's hands. "The news?" she questioned, unfurling it. Her eyes scanned the page and her face took on a more serious expression. "It seems we are being summoned to marine headquarters," she said to Matogai, handing over the paper so he could read it as well.

Shuji's eyes widened and he glared at Masaki. "Wait, what? You put truth stuff in that food?" he echoed. He didn't struggle as the handcuffs were being put back on and instead sat there sulking. "That's playing dirty!" he snapped.
Raiden was standing at the helm of the ship now, looking out at the sea with a mix of emotions swirling inside. He narrowed his eyes as the island in question grew closer in the distance, and pretty soon he could make out the unmistakable outline of Tatsuo's ship.
"It might, depending on how far away they were when they ran into each other... But either way, like you said Ursa, our cannons are something to be feared," Tatsuo said with a smirk. "'Course, even if his temper does blow over, I think meeting with me'll just bring right back again." A ship caught in the corner of his eye, another one belonging to the Thunder Beast pirates. Soon there was another, and another sailing by. "Heh, looks like he's comin'~"

Hmm, maybe Hayle can end up fighting Kuren? To keep her away from their ship or something?]]
Hayle had to drag his eyes away from Nakazo's fight with Paloma, sending a silent wish for the newcomer's safety as well as his own as the Revolutionary ship sailed into the circle of government ships. Once they were far enough from the fight an unnerving silence fell upon the scene. His eyes narrowed and whiskers twitched. This was the calm before the storm. Everywhere he looked he found himself staring straight down the barrel of a cannon. "Full speed ahead, we need to reach Ari and the citizens," he ordered.
Melody gritted her teeth and pressed against Marcus. Her legs from the shin down also turned into metal and spikes sprouting from the soles of her feet anchored her in the sand. The steely grey of haki spread over her shields and she gave a mighty shove against the bounty hunter. "You can voice your disagreements to me all you want, it was headquarters that gave the orders for this. I have no say in the matter," she grunted.

Kuren nodded, leaning back as she crossed her abnormally long legs. She looked at the other ships in the fleet. “any news about the revolutionaries?” She asked in an uncaring tone.
(Matogai is secretly a pathetic human being lol XD)
Matogai squinted at the gull as it flew away before he turned to Arana. When she mentioned the marines, he snorted and took the paper. “What do they want this time? Not all of us have to be so inclined to go to every single one of these meetings. We have better things to do.” He shook his head “this better be important, or I'm not going.”
Ursa snickered “he's like a teapot when he's angry. Though, it's his fault getting so worked up over territory. It's not like he makes it easy for us to discuss with.” As the ships were coming one after another, she couldn't help but get a little excited. “wonder how sturdy those ships are" she chirped.
(Like, she attacks their ship and he has to fight her off? Sounds good)

Marcus growled as he was pushed back and said," you say you have no power but you couldn't be more wrong admiral." Marcus then charged at her once again with his drills spinning full force. While doing this he said," we always have a choice in all things we do, be them for whatever reasons."
Marcus looked down at the girl and said," fine but know that I am keeping an eye on you." Marcus then set the girl down so she could lead the way.

sorry for not posting sooner work and hanging out with friends ended up taking up all my time)
Masaki chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head "Hey, we thought Tatsuo had hostile intentions since you decided to attack us so we figured we would get as much information out of you as we could. We figured you were the type who wouldnt say anything no matter what happened out of loyalty to your Captain. And it looks like we were right about that" he said "It does look like we took it to the extreme though seeing as a large majority of our fleet is currently on its way here"
The marine nodded "Yes there has been news of the revolutionaries. Vice-Admiral Paloma is currently engaged in battle with one of the ships over to our west. There were two ships spotted fairly close to each other but from the looks of it, the Vice-Admiral is tied up in battle still on the first ship." he said

Marcus jumped back when her shields grew spikes and said," man you sure aren't afraid to get to the point." Marcus then pulled back his arms and had his drills increase speed so they could build up a strong wind. When they were ready Marcus charged full speed at Melody and when he was just a couple feet away he throw both his arms forward launching both gusts of wind.
Arthur glared at the girl and said," so you were planning to run away." Arthur then growled and said," just keep walking before I throw you back over my shoulder."

Kuren turned her head to the direction of where the marine said the revolutionary ships were. She breathed out, standing up “it would make are job simple if they were taken out as soon as possible? I'll be back.” She took a step up and was suddenly using her long, powerful legs to kick herself up into the air and to the west.
(No one must know how pathetic he really Is XD)
“The government can threaten to take my potatoes and I still wouldn't care" Matogai said, already in position to dive off the ship and into the waters below, but was starting to have second thoughts. On one hand, a sturdy ship would be nice. On the other, I don't want anything that has to do with them. He thought, but his thinking caused him to forget what he was doing and realized the position he was in wasn't good for balance, and suddenly dropped into the ocean below, letting out an undignified “yeep!”
Ursa put her hand up “aye aye" before running off below deck. Either they needed cannonballs or sake, both of which she wouldn't mind at all. Personally, she was leaning more on the cannonballs.
