Tides of a New Era ~ A One Piece RP ~ New Thread! Open!

(I also made a typo on my character's bio by mistake. Oops XD)

Well, we've got yonkou Raiden sailing to meet rival Tatsuo in the New World near Wano. He and crewmate Masaki have captured one of Tatsuo's guys. In another part of the New World the government just issued a buster call on a small island where Ari, one of the revolutionaries was staying. He and bounty hunter Marcus are working to get the people to safety while waiting for allies Kana, Nakazo, and Hayle to arrive. We've also got an admiral and vice-admiral there, and the fights are just beginning xD Lastly, we have two little pirate crews minding their own business at the moment (sorta). An un-named crew(Kyoden, Scarlet, Kuina, and Able) just arrived at Sabaody and are about to run into Calli and Arthur. Then we have the Elegant pirates just doin some shopping in the New World, and they're about to run into Rodas. I think that's everything xD]]

Wano

Raiden was silent in thought for a moment. A long moment. Then he shook his head. "I take back what I said, you gave me a better idea. He's going to stay down there until I'm face to face with his boss," he said very matter-of-fact. "He said he's a scorpion man, did he not? Then he should have no problem with the darkness," he scoffed. "Let me know once you've whipped up something fro him to eat, I'm going to make sure our navigator is doing his job~"

Sabaody

Kyoden let out an audible groan. He had hoped they'd have let that idea go by now. "Ugh, fine," he muttered. "But we're getting the more important things out of the way first! And nothing crazy, remember that," he snapped, pushing on with his march. He wasn't entirely sure leaving the planning up to Kuina and Scarlet was the best idea, but that left them out of his hair for a bit (or at least he hoped). Besides, Able was also there to help keep them in line...right?
Scarlet gave Kyoden a grin of confidence before turning to Kuina. "So these Celestial Dragons, never heard of 'em. What do they look like?" she asked.

Calli was distracted from her conversation with Arthur by some new voices yelling out rather loudly at the far end of the port area. It was a group of four, and it looked like they had only just arrived. "Huh? I thought I heard one of them mention coating..." she murmured. (bloodrosepelt)

Elegant Pirates

"I - I am not," Olivier insisted, tucking the money away in his pocket once more. Those words were meant for himself just as much as they were for Raion. He was just about to voice his agreement with their navigator when suddenly he was yanked backwards. Adeline's arm was hooked around his own and he nearly stumbled, not noticing she had been stopped for a while. "What is it?" he asked.
"Look! A shop selling coats!" Adeline pointed out. "You are always wearing this same one, Olivier, it's getting scuffed up and dull. You could stand to have one more in your wardrobe." Her feet were firmly planted on the ground, it was clear she was not going anywhere until the two agreed. The siblings stood locked in a staring contest until Adeline switched her focus to Raion. "You as well, Raion. We can't live up to our name of the Elegant Pirates if we are dressed like this. ...I've decided. I'm getting you both something new, come on. I just saw someone go inside~" She dragged her brother over to Raion, and then hooked arms with both of them to pull them into the shop. She wore a sly little grin as she did so, eyes flicking to both. "I happen to have some secret spending money of my own~"

Buster Call

Hayle nodded to Kana before turning to the navigators. "Get us in just close enough, and bring us in directly behind them. They likely don't have as many lookouts facing us," he instructed. As he overheard Nakazo's warning, a new idea came to him. "Nakazo, instead of destroying the ship, what do you think of taking it over? We could use it to blend in with the other marines and take out some of their ships that way. Take a few soldiers with you and take the marine uniforms," he suggested.

Ari was now making his way to one end of the island. The ships Marcus had organized in the port had already run out of room to hold people, which wasn't unexpected. It was a small island, after all, which meant there would be a lack in sea traffic to and from. He had just gotten a message about Hayle's ship possibly being delayed, and now Marcus was working on distracting the marines... or he hoped that was the plan.  He sent around a warning in the growing mob of frightened citizens before walking our further on the beach. He disappeared into a cloud of sand, and soon more and more sand was swirling around the entire island's perimeter. It was a good thing there were strong winds today. The swirling sandstorm was meant to be a defensive maneuver, hoping to alter the marines' aim, and with his body being part of it he might be able to stop some of the incoming fire. 

Dash's eyes followed Melody's finger, and caught sight of Marcus just before Ari's sand-screen went up. "Well I think I saw him," he muttered. "Ah, to be a bounty hunter~ Not bound to anything but yourself, getting to fight on your own terms while getting paid a pretty penny~ Truly the dream job," he sighed. After a glare from Melody he laughed. "I kid, I kid~ So, what are we going to do about this guy? You gonna fight him?"
"That is clearly what he wants. I would never willingly allow myself to be strung along by a turncoat such as him," Melody growled. "You will go take care of him."
"Me?! In that sand mess?!" Dash blurted out. "Admiral, ma'am, I say this with utmost respect. I think you should go. I mean, you're metal, you will last the best out there."
Melody was silent as she walked off to prepare a smaller boat to bring her to shore, not wanting to acknowledge the point Dash had made.

Marcus looked at the sandstorm and said," well now this wont hold them off for very long." Marcus then crossed his arm and sat on the ground and waited for the Marines to get there.


Arthur glared at her and asked," what does that have to do with anything ." Arthur then pointed his sword, while still in its sheath, at her. 

"Its already just about done. The rice is just being made right now so it shouldn't be too much longer Cap'n" Masaki said "But I think we should bring him up here maybe sometime after the fleet shows up so he can see our power. Maybe if he is under the truth serum he may tell us whether or not Tatsuo's forces are greater than ours, though that doesn't mean much when it comes to quality pirates like ours"

Nakazo shook his head "I highly doubt that would work. As soon as we start attacking, they will send out a call saying they are under attack and try to keep up regular reports. It would be nearly impossible once they announce our attack" he said "Taking the ship would be a good idea seeing as we can use the ship for both its cannons and size to defend and evacuate the citizens"

Raion sighed "I dont even want to know how you came by that money." he said "If they even have suits for people of my size. I've always found them to be too tight, especially around the neck. So unless we get a professional tailor to do my suit, I don't think it would be good to get me one. Plus there's the fact that I don't think dressing up all nice would look good on me" he said

(I think a meeting at sea first, and then they get a call from HQ?)

Not too far ahead was a small raft with a damaged sail. Splayed out on top of the mass of wood was Matogai. His hood was covering his face as he slept, on occasion letting out a snore. From a distance away, it would be difficult to tell if he were alive or not. Not many people would dare fall asleep on such a small raft in fear of Sea King attacks.

| Ursa is a tall and muscular woman, standing at 6’. She has a sanguine complexion and Amber eyes. Her hair is long, light brown, and curves into the face at the edges. She normally wears a bandana over her head, a loose fitting jumpsuit with the top half tied around her waist, boots, heavy duty gloves, and a bra with no shirt. Once in a while, she can bee seen carrying a large sledge hammer. | Ursa is a very laid back woman who doesn't take what people say too seriously most of the time. She doesn't like bothering people with questions and would rather do things by herself so others don't get hurt. She also has insecurities about her shipbuilding that she keeps mostly to herself. | Ursa is very strong in her base form, with an adept understanding of shipbuilding. Her strength increases a lot when she uses her devil Fruit power, the Bear Bear fruit-Model: Grizzly, which turns her into a grizzly bear. Along with that, she's good at using Armament Haki, but isn't as good with Observation Haki. She has managed to use her awakened form once, but she has no idea how to trigger it again. | When she was growing up, Ursa spent most of her time fascinated by the ships that would occasionally stop by her hometown. She wanted to know how they were made. She had tried building her own boat, but it ended up breaking apart once it it the water. She continued trying though, and eventually, she managed to build her own boat by the age of 17. The accomplishment gave her a sense of pride and she decided this is what she wanted to do with her life. In order to hone her skills more, Ursa joined the navy as an apprentice shipwright. That only lasted for 2 years after she grew more and more distrustful of the navy because of their questionable view of justice. She ended up sailing the Grand Line, looking for a place she could learn and work. Before long, she found the famous city of Water 7. There, she worked at one of their many shipbuilding docks, continuing to improve until she became one of the best shipwrights in the dock. During her time in Water 7, she realized she wasn't going to be satisfied with her work if she never got to see if her ships worked how they should. She managed to convince one of her clients, a group of pirates, to take her with them. Ursa grew close to the pirates and became a member of their crew officially. Unfortunately, once they reached the New World, they were attacked by the navy. Everyone but Ursa was killed in the battle. Ursa only managed to survive because of her Devil fruit powers awakening, causing her to go on a rampage and take out many ships worth of soldiers before collapsing. Not long after that, she joined up with the Demon Pirates. | To build the greatest ship that ever existed. | West Blue | Ursa, at some point in her life, wants to have a family and kids. |

| Bucky is the spitting image of what his father, Cyborg Franky, looked like as a kid. He is short, being only 4’5", but he is still growing. His skin is lightly tanned, his light bluish-gray hair sticks out of his headband at almost every angle, and his eyes are gray in color. He tends to wear unbuttoned tropical shirts, cargo shorts with golden stars, leather bands around his wrists, and his favorite pair of goggles that can double as sunglasses depending on how much sunlight there is. | Bucky is very passionate and energetic, not scared of showing people how he truly feels. He doesn't like being told what to do in most situations, even if he's being told by someone he admires. He holds a lot of people in his life rather highly, like his dad, the Straw Hats, and the shipwrights of Galley La who helped raise him. Despite his attempts, he occasionally let's his blood relations slip. | Bucky himself isn't physically strong, but he is a natural when it comes to building weapons and single-person ships. He isn't as good at making anything look visually appealing, but what he builds still works wonders. Currently carries around an old cannon that he repaired for self defence. | With Franky busy with his pirate duty, he left Bucky in the care of Iceberg, and by extent, Galley La. He grew up admiring them greatly and wanting to be a shipwright. He often started building boats and weapons on his own at a young age, seeming to be a natural like his father was. Around the age of 10, Bucky noticed the navy suddenly occupying the area. During that time, he wasn't allowed to go outside. He would try to sneak out and build, but he was always caught by the shipwrights and sent home. Eventually, after pestering him with the question, Iceberg told him the truth. The Navy got a tip that Cyborg Franky might have a child on the island. They were hoping to get a hold of him, not wanting the blood of notorious pirates to spread. Bucky was angered by that, thinking it was stupid they were looking for him, even if he hadn't done anything. After a scary close run-in with the navy when he was 13, he decided to run away from home, thinking it was best for everyone and himself. He is currently moving from island to island, buying supplies and doing odd jobs. | Not get caught by the navy. | Water 7 | Considers many Galley La shipwrights as his uncles, especially Iceberg, who he calls Uncleberg. Only wears shorts because he got it drilled into his head to wear something. |

Nariku The Avaricious:
Arana's eyes had been closed for just moments before she felt the presence of someone standing beside her. She opened one eye and saw the cabinboy there, looking terribly nervous. She excused the behavior, as he was new to the crew and had not yet gotten used to her. "Yes? What is it?" she asked.
"Well... there's a small boat or raft or something up ahead..." the boy stammered. "We're on a direct course to run into it."
"Then move us out of the way. I would think the other individual has eyes to see us with," Arana remarked with a dismissive hand gesture.

Wano

Raiden gave a shrug from the doorway. "I will consider it," he said before stepping outside. He went to the navigator and leaned up against the helm before beginning his string of questions. The news that they were less than a day's travel from Wano seemed to light up his listless eyes and he strolled across the deck with renewed excitement on his face.

Tatsuo was sitting cross-legged on the deck of the Fugaku up near the bow. He had an unusually serious look on his face as he stared out aimlessly at the horizon. His chin was resting in the palm of his hand, and a finger was slowly tapping thoughtfully at his cheek. After a while he shook himself out of it and stood, giving his legs a quick stretch before glancing around. Most of the crew was enjoying themselves in town, so it was a strangely quiet day. With a thumb hooked onto his belt, he went wandering the deck for a bit. "Yo Ursa! You around? I got a brilliant idea!" he shouted with a grin.

Sabaody

Calli let out another squeak as she found the sword in her face. "W-Well, if they were talking about coating, then that means they already have a ship right? You could hitch a ride or something? Maybe? Instead of buying a whole new ship?" she suggested.

"I lived a very boring life on a tiny merchant ship for most of my childhood, so I've been learning a lot as a pirate," Scarlet explained with a chuckle. "But after that explanation, the celestial dragons are sounding a bit more familiar. I will make sure to stay away."
"Good," muttered Kyoden.
"Back to important things, how are we gonna get Kyo his bounty? We mentioned a heist earlier... you two know of anything worth heist-ing here?" Scarlet asked, turning to the twins.

Buster Call

Hayle glanced back at Nakazo. "You bring up a good point. We'll wait to see how Kana does before deciding then. However, no matter what happens I want you on that ship once she's done. Whether we use that ship to fool them or destroy the other ships will depend on that," he replied. "Get ready, Kana. We're nearly there," he added, with a nod to the approaching marine ship.

A sandy silhouette of Ari formed beside Marcus. "It is not to keep the marines out, but merely to distract their eyes. Even if a few cannon-balls come through, I can gather up and stop them," he explained with some irritation. "Any response from the marines? It seems to me they have been waiting very patiently for their orders. I bet they're enjoying seeing us run around like trapped animals in a cage," he went on with added bitterness in his voice. "We need to figure out which ship will be issuing the attack. If we can take it out it may help..."

"You're really not gonna go after him?" Dash asked a visibly upset Melody. 
"Like I said earlier, he is not worth engaging at this point. He will just be destroyed along with the island in a few minutes. Unless he personally attacks me, I will not be moving from this spot." Noticing that nearly all the ships had arrived to circle the island, Melody took a small golden transponder snail from her pocket and traced her thumb over the shell. Just a few more minutes, and then everything would begin.

Elegant Pirates

"Nonsense Raion!" Adeline said with a chuckle. She pushed open the doors of the shop and dragged both men inside with her before releasing them. "We're not looking for an entire suit, just a nice jacket. You'll be amazed what a nice jacket will do for you!" Her blue eyes scanned the shop and stopped on Rodas on the other side. She tapped her companions on the shoulder and pointed to the other pirate. "See? This gentleman has the same idea, I'm sure he would agree with me as well~"

Masaki went back to thee kitchen to prepare a little meat. Masaki wasn't cruel when it came to feeding people. He always treated every person he fed like he would someone on the ship. He was currently grilling a small amount of beef on the oven

Nakazo nodded "As soon as she is done on that ship, I'll board the ship. By the way, if she is going berserk, will she be able to calm herself down or do I need to do that?" He asked before he looked over at the Marine warship. "Well it looks like she is just about done over there. I can still sense one or two marines below decks. Not sure if they would be of any use to us though" he said

"It doesn't help that my clothes get damaged if I go into my hybrid form. Most clothes can't handle two heads never mind me getting even bigger. It's why I wear loose clothing" Raion said. When Rodas came up to them, Raion already didn't like him. He didn't like how he kept looking at Adeline nor the way Rodas talked as it vaguely reminded him of the Celestial Dragons and he let out a low growl. If Rodas got any closer to Adeline he would probably end up going full on Cerberus and snapping at him
