(Thanks!)
Hannah had been on the air for most of the morning and was calmly preparing for her next segment. After the current song ended, she announced, "Now I'm sure all of you wonderful listeners have hear of the new, up and coming pop sensation, Nieve Watton. Well, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet her last night at Club Mirage! Here is her hit song that's climbing the charts! And stay tuned after to hear the scoop from Nieve herself about her rise to fame!" Hannah hit a button and the song started to play. She took off her headphones and took a deep breath before shuffling her papers to prepare for the Nieve interview segment. When she was ready, she took a drink of water and waited for the song to end.

Mkay, no sports then... Mackenzie thought but if she were to have said that outloud, it would have been an either a sarcastic tone or irritable. She didn't plan on being petty and holding onto those things but with some people it just got to her. Hopefully it won't have to be like that with him. "Are you in any of the Honors classes? Maybe we have one together." She said with a shrug. She was curious as to see whether or not he was one of those students who did their work or not in class. She can't suspect anything now, considering there was a kid she used to go to school with and he had all A's in his classes yet looked almost just like Jaxon. "Oh, and for lunch, if you want to sit by anyone you can sit with me if you want. That's not too forward is it?" She asked with a slightly embarrassed chuckle. Mackenzie had a tendency to do that a lot. Jaxon shook his head. "No honors courses." It wasn't that Jaxon didn't apply himself, it was just that he didn't put in as much effort as he should. Jaxon was of average intellegence, but he also knew that if he moved in the middle of a semester, his grades wouldn't transfer effectively anyway. So often times he only did enough work to pass. Jaxon only shrugged to her offer of lunch. "We'll see." Was his only reply. After all, he was really hoping that she would forget about him by then and he could eat alone somewhere other than the cafeteria. (here you go Gumball!)

As she listened to her song start to play, Nieve couldn't help but smile. It never got old, hearing a song she wrote in her bedroom after getting turned down by a guy playing on the radio. It had been a way to vent for her, it still was, but it was more than that now. Bigger. It wasn't just hers anymore, something which never failed to amaze her.
She pulled over, wanting to give this her full attention. It could go one of two ways - she could find her words being twisted for a cheap story, in which case she'd need to be prepared, or she could hear her own thoughts said to her. Either way, she was interested to hear it.

As the song ended, Hannah sat up straight and put her headphones into place on her head. "And now what you have all been waiting for! As I said before, I had the miraculous opportunity to speak to Nieve Watton yesterday. Not only was she extraordinarily kind as we spoke, she had some excellent insight into her life and career." With that, Hannah began to retell everything that Nieve had said to her. She put a charming spin on all of her words, but didn't change the content of what Nieve told her once. Hannah's goal with this segment was to make the audience love the new singer. Not that it was a hard task, Nieve had been super interesting to listen to and extremely kind the whole time.

Nieve's smile only grew as the segment continued. She was being described in such a pleasant way, it was hard not to be flattered. And her words were all kept, her sentiments described perfectly. She wasn't sure what she'd expected, but this was certainly better. Much better. It was almost enough to make her wish she had a way to run into Hannah again, just so she could express her gratitude. Of course, there was no way for her to make that happen except to hope for another coincidental run-in.

Hannah finished her segment with a smile. "And don't forget to come down and see me and some other hosts of the Vibe at Club Mirage this Friday night! Giveaways and a contest will be going on the entire night, and maybe even some more scoop on Nieve Watton. This has been DJ Hannah, have a great rest of the day." With that, Hannah put on the next songs and took off her headphones. Her shift was now over and she was ready to go home and sleep.

(It's all good XD)
Arc left the school, following the throng of students that moved for the doors until he passed through to the outside. Without the confinement of halls to keep the students in a large clump of motion, everyone went every direction as they needed, some to the busses, some to the parent pick up, some to the parking lot, and the rest scattered in all directions to walk home. The ones who broke off the mass of students to other halls or tried feebly to walk against the crowd were likely going to tutoring or an after school club. As for him, Arc, headed toward the bus area where he'd left his bike that morning. There was a small parking spot between the lot and the bus area that he could fit his bike for parking without risk of another car opening a door into it. The first time that had happened, it had cost a pretty penny to reverse the scratch marks. The second time, he'd tried to fix it himself to save money. It it happened a third time, he might go off on someone.
He took the leather jacket out of his backpack and pulled it over himself. He wasn't much for wearing it in the school - the teacher labeled him as a trouble maker and other students gave him heat for 'trying to look cool' - so he kept it out of sight most of the day. The helmet was a little harder to hide, so whenever he wasn't arriving at or leaving the school, he left it in his locker. He swung one leg over the bike, sitting ready to take off as he put his helmet over his head and fixed his backpack on his shoulders.

After getting an opportunity presented to her so soon after wishing for one, there was no way she could do anything but take it willingly. A few voice commands later and her phone had even written it into her calendar for her. Did the whole thing feel a little creepy? Yes, maybe a little. But she had been invited just like any other listener, and she hadn't even been the one to approach Hannah first, she'd done that all on her own so it was hard to feel guilty for more than a few moments.

Leah walked with the flow of students that was pouring out of the school. She had no after school activities that day, which was fairly rare considering she was a part of choir and the debate team. Today, however, instead of following the crowd that was headed to the buses, Leah turned to walk home. It was a beautiful day, and Leah hadn't wanted to pass up the opportunity to walk home. She had been ecstatic when her mother had given her permission to walk home that day.
Leah readjusted her backpack on her shoulders once she had broken free from the crowd of people. She was glad that she had decided to wear a pair of short booties to school rather than sandals. Even though sandals would have clashed terribly with the skinny jeans and flowy shirt that she had worn that day.

Hannah gathered her belongings to head home for the evening. She was confident that her show had gone well and that they would have an excellent turnout that Friday.
When Friday rolled around, Hannah was more than excited. She had put on a pair of black booties, skinny jeans, and a tight grey top. Her hair remained perfectly curled as she and a couple of the other hosts of the Vibe prepared the booth for the upcoming event. They had glow sticks laying out on their table with "The Vibe" printed across the side as well as koosies and buttons. Their contest was for an autographed CD of another musician. It was almost time for the doors to open and the team was well prepared and waiting for the crowd.

The week dragged on and Nieve continued to flip between excited and horrified at the decision she'd made. But by the time it was time for her to actually leave, she thought she'd settled on the former. She'd dressed simply, skinny jeans and a crop top, and even left her heels at home. As much as she wanted to wear them, there was no denying that she was already rather tall. Adding another three or four inches would mean sticking her head above everyone else and while she wouldn't have minded, usually, this seemed like the wrong time to stick out. Her face wasn't famous, but she could take the precaution nonetheless. Still, the ballet flats she slipped into instead weren't what she'd have gone for in any other situation.
She'd been able to find some more information on this whole thing, courtesy of Google, and planned it so that she arrived half an hour into the event. That way she'd avoid the worst of the crowds. So when she pulled up near the venue, the street was mostly clear. Even as she walked towards it, she found that there was nobody in the street except for those already heading home. Perfect. She went inside, going straight for the crowd; she might as well have fun while she was here.

After only 30 minutes, the crowd at the booth had slowed considerably. The music had stared and everyone had moved to the dance floor or the bar. Hannah was talking animatedly to a tall guy, trying to convince him to enter their contest by filling out a contact card. She kept smiling and touching his arm in a flirty fashion, trying to sell him on the idea.

(Ended up fallingg asleep right after the call)
Arc started the engine of the bike once he was happy with his set up and he moved the bike out of the parking spot. Once he had it balanced he sat the last of his weight upon it and kicked off. The wheels began turning and he moved forward slowly, trying to navigate toward the small spot where the student parking let out to the main road. He adjusted his helmet briefly before putting both hands back on the handles. As he neared the opening, the other cars began to pile up in a long line, waiting to merge into traffic. He sighed a bit under the visor and proceeded forward, driving the bike between the cars and the sidewalk.

Nieve made her way across the dance floor, slowing down in order to move in time with the music. It was the irresistible pull that had taken her into the music industry in the first place that compelled her to not only walk the floor but dance across it. The crowd around the booth had mostly died down, meaning she could spot Hannah with ease. The same, unfortunately, went for the guy she was talking to. Not wanting to interrupt whatever what happening, she hovered by the edges of the crowd until he left, at which point she quickly made her way over, flashing a warm smile. "He seemed nice," she said, her words dripping with curiosity.

(That's okay!)
Leah's eyes wandered around the parking lot, taking it all in. She loved watching the people and the cars. She loved the feeling of the air on her face and the sound of the birds and traffic mixed together. She was walking along the sidewalk near the entrance to the school parking lot. It was then that she saw, to her surprise, someone on a bike trying to squeeze through the cars and out of the parking lot.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Hannah couldn't help but smile when she spotted Nieve. She didn't know why, but the other girl made her feel oddly comfortable. She rolled her eyes at the other girls words and relaxed her shoulders. "Please, He's no different than any other guy that comes through these clubs." She leaned with one hand on the table. "I bet he comes back here at some point tonight trying to take me home. That is if he doesn't score with some other girl here." She sighed as she finished her mini rant.

Nieve nodded in a way that said that she knew exactly what she meant, her faint smile betraying her amusement. "I hope you don't mind I crashed the party," she said after a short pause. "I listened to the show and I wanted to say thank you. You made me sound so much nicer than I am." She made sure that her tone was humorous, even if she absolutely meant what she'd said. "It was good, you know. Even the bits I wasn't in," she added.
