Hannah couldn't help it as her smile grew. "I'm glad you liked it, but I did nothing more than put words to what I saw." She shrugged it off humbly. "It's really nice to see you here." She readjusted her stance and crossed her arms in front of her. "I really am glad you liked it though." Her smiled stayed planted on her face.

"I couldn't turn down an invitation, now could I?" she replied. Despite the nonchalance of her words, she couldn't deny that she was glad to hear that she was welcome. "All you have to do to get to my heart is flatter me a little. Two compliments and I'll die for you." She was only half joking, that was the worst part.

(Also starting my hw)
Arc continued forward until he was next to the car at the front of the line, waiting for the traffic to lull long enough for him to join the flow. There were more cars than usual...was there an event or something going on? He hadn't really checked. At best, he assumed there might be a sports game or maybe a band at the park. He turned his head to check for pedestrians. None to the left, he turned to the right and realized there was someone on the sidewalk. Were they staring? Or just looking ahead. Well, maybe it wasn't that common to see a motorcycle make its own way on the road between the cars... might as well play it off. He gave a small wave before returning his hold to the handles.

"Well in that case." Hannah gave a small grin. "I absolutely love your shirt! Where on earth do you get your hair done? Ive been thinking about getting mine done just like that! Would you like to enter our contest to win a signed CD?" She let the sentences all spill out and run together with her sarcasm and ended with a huge grin. She held up a contact card with her head tilted slightly to the side with a puppy dog look.

(Okay! I'll be leaving to go to work soon too)
Leah furrowed her brows in embarrassment as she realized that she had been staring. She quickly turned her head and to hide the shade of pink that her face was turning. She began walking down the sidewalk the other direction, deciding that avoiding embarrassment was her best option. She would take another path home instead.

"I'd love to," Nieve replied, giving a warm, pleased smile. "Talk me through the process, please!" She took the card, though she was still looking intently at Hannah. She'd meant it. Flattery took you places with her. She didn't see the harm, but there was something else in it, too. A desperate attempt to flirt? She wouldn't be surprised. "What do I have to do to enter this contest of yours?"

Arc paused, a little surprised that she'd turned around to go another way. He'd upset her? It wasn't like he'd actually said anything. Truthfully it was actually sort of funny and he couldn't keep from grinning under his helmet. Still, he didn't need any bad rep going around. As soon as he saw an opening, he pulled out of the line and drove down the road next to the sidewalk. He slowed the bike as he drove alongside her.
"Hey, you okay there?" He asked. His voice was muffled through the visor and padding, but he was pretty sure he'd spoken loudly enough for her to hear him over the bike.

Hannah returned the smile as she handed Nieve the card. "Just fill out the card with your information, put it the bucket, and the drawing will occur at the end of the night." Hannah gestured to the bucket at the middle of the table before handing the other girl a pen. "Best of luck." Hannah couldn't have taken the smile off of her face if she tried.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Leah jumped slightly in surprise as she heard a voice next to her. She had been so focused on her walk and getting away that she hadn't heard the bike pull up. She turned her head quickly to see the biker that she had just walked away from. "Oh- uh- ya! I'm okay!" She nodded her head quickly, partly confused why he had bothered to come and check. All she had done was walk away, that wasn't a big deal in her book.

"Alright..." Arc looked ahead briefly to be sure he wasn't headed into any obvious obstacle. He realized they were headed back toward the school. "You forget something in your locker or...?" He inquired, uncertain why she'd be going back to the building. The bike gave a slight wobble from going so slow and he put his feet down to keep the bike balanced.

Nieve filled it out quickly, unable to stop smiling even as she dotted the i in her name and dropped it into the bucket with a flourish. "Thank you. I take this draw very seriously. I'm glad you see that." She was surprised, in all honesty, that she was getting along so well with Hannah. Not that she'd expected to hate her, but they barely knew each other and they were both joking and grinning like idiots already. She quite liked it.

In her effort to avoid embarrassment, she had only made the situation worse. In fact, she hadnt even realized that she was headed back to the school. "Oh..uh...no..." she stammered, unable to think of any reasonable excuse for heading back to the school.

Hannah couldn't help but laugh at Nieve's flare and extroverted behavior. She flipped her brown curls over her shoulder. Ahe too was surprised at how well they were getting along. While Hannah tried to be kind to everyone, it wasnt very often that she got along with other females.

"Oh... So, where are you going this way?" He asked, lifting a hand toward the school. Kinda fair if she didn't answer, it wasn't any of his business. Still, he was a little confused why she'd turned around but he wasn't sure calling her out on it directly was the best idea.

"So, is this busy work for you?" Nieve asked, finding a spot on the wall of the booth to lean against. She was curious. She'd never wanted to go into radio, or broadcasting in general, she very much wanted to be seen, but she had to admit that it was interesting.

She hated lying, mainly because she was so terrible at it. "I don't know..." She shrugged her shoulder and didn't make eye contact with the other boy. She had still lied, she supposed, but it wasn't as difficult as making something up.

She'd never wanted to go into radio, or broadcasting in general, she very much wanted to be seen, but she had to admit that it was interesting. Hannah shook her head with a smile. "Nope, career choice." She answered the question proudly. She was very used to the confused expressions of others when they heard that this is what she had always wanted to do. She had answers prepared for every possible question thanks to her family members condescending doubt. Not her immidiate family, of course, they had been more than supportive of her desires.

Nieve nodded. "Good choice," she said sincerely. She knew from personal experience what someone questioning your career choices felt like. Hers wasn't exactly the kind parents wanted to see their children make, as she was often reminded. But things seemed to be going well for both of them. "Do you enjoy it?" she questioned, though going by the proud tone Hannah had used she was pretty sure of what the answer would be.

Hannah exclaimed, throwing her hands out sideways to motion around her. "I get to meet some many new people and listen to music all day." She laughed, "What more could I want?" She put her hands on her hips. "What about you? Do you like singing?"

Arc paused for a second, before opening the visor on his helmet. He offered a small smile, one that she could see. "If you're going nowhere slowly, the best way to go is on a bike." He offered, reaching behind himself and patting the extra seat under his palm. He didn't have an extra helmet, but he could at least hand her his jacket to keep her shirt from blowing around.

Leah's heart skipped a beat and her eyes grew wide as she realized what he was offering. She was frozen for a moment, torn between taking the opportunity and running with it, and being a good girl and going home. Her heart was now pounding in her chest. She was a split second away from hopping on the bike when she shook her head quickly. "Oh no...I can't."

When her slow pace slowed to a stop, Arc brought the bike to a slow stop as well. "You sure? You can borrow my coat if you're worried about it being safe. I'd give you my helmet, but drive has to wear one and I don't have an extra." He offered. He normally wouldn't push, but she didn't look so confident in her answer. It was something a previous him would have been familiar with. If she said no a second time, he'd let it go.

Leah hesitated a second time before she answered again. Only this time, she nodded. This answer came much to her surprise, but she went with it. "Okay... Ya- thanks..." She nodded again and cleared the short distance to the bike nervously. Once she got there, she realized fearfully that she didnt know the first thing about bikes and how one would go about riding one.

Arc saw her hesitation again and he closed his visor before taking off his jacket and handing it over to her. "Put this on and make sure its zipped all the way up. When you're done, swing a leg over and snoot yourself onto the seat. I'll keep the bike balanced, and you can grab on my shoulder or the seat for support if you need it." He instructed.

Leah felt her nerves rising as she pulled the jacket on. It was a little big on her, but she zipped it all the way up like she was instructed. She then followed his instructions on how to get onto the bike. She place her hand carefully onto his shoulder before swinging her leg over the bike and settling onto the seat. She let out a slow breath once she was in place and balanced behind him.

Arc waited for her to get her bearings before he continued. "Alright, before I start moving the bike, you need to be holding on to something. You can hold my shoulders if you're okay with it." He told her. "Also, if you want to get wherever you're going, kinda need to know which way to go." He added.

Leah nodded before realizing that he couldn't see her. "Okay." She placed her hands on his shoulders. Her stomach was already doing somersaults when he asked her where to take her. "Uhm...Hillside." She told him her neighborhood. "You can take a left up ahead." She told him where to turn even though she figured he knew where that was. Almost everyone knew where that was. Hillside was the second richest neighborhood in the city. The other one being HuntersDell, a gated community.

Arc gave a surprised 'ha' when he heard where they were going. No wonder she didn't want to be driven home on a bike. "Alright, just remember when we turn to follow my lead when we go around turns. You have to lean a bit to keep the bike balanced." He let her know. He started the bike again, letting it roll forward a bit before lifting his feet off the ground and placing them on the foot holds. He remembered the heat from the engine was actually quite close to the passenger leg space and he called back. "Mind the pipes and don't move your legs back. The engine gets hot really quickly."
