Jaxon couldn't help but smirk at Mackenzie's assumption. Military parents. He couldn't even imagine his parents wearing anything but those hideous prison garments, let alone a proper military uniform. Despite this, he didn't correct her. He felt that it would be better for her to have a high assumption of him rather than seeing him for what he really was.
"Nice to meet you Mackenzie." Jaxon replied politely, mainly only to confirm that he wasn't exactly one for nicknames. After all, nicknames were for friends, and he wasn't about to make any friends. The last time he had ever share nicknames with someone was in the 5th grade. He had a friend named Maxwell. Max and Jax, they were best friends for half a year before Jaxon had to move homes again. That was the last time that Jaxon had tried to make a friend.

Nieve took her hand with a smile, both relieved and warm. "Nieve Watten," she replied. "It's nice to meet you, I think anyway." It would have been a strange thing to say if it wasn't for the teasing delivery, which somehow brought it from awkward to joke. Knowing that nothing too bad had happened, Nieve was immediately comfortable again. That was always how it had been, two seconds passed after chaos was narrowly avoided and she was back in her element, joking and laughing and befriending anyone she came across. This was no exception. She gave the girl a quick once over, first to check that she really hadn't ruined her clothes - even if it was just temporarily - then again just because she wanted to.

When Jaxon didn't deny having military parents she figured that must have been the case then. It was usually the first conclusion she made when hearing someone moved a lot, mainly because that was what she could relate to most. In those years that her parents were active duty though, she lived in ten houses and had gone to about five or six schools. Her step dad retired before her mother so she didn't know about the Army and how often they moved around, but as for Air Force, you typically moved every two to four years. Plus, her mother was picky about houses and wanted one close to base or in a nicer school district and she on. "What branches are they in? What places have you lived in?" She asked, very curious as to what he was going to say. Most kids around here didn't have military parents, so to meet someone who did was very exciting for her. "If I remember correctly, I've lived in Colorado, Virginia, Germany, Nevada, and here - Texas - obviously." She figured she should say so first, just to get it out of the way.
{Ooo, what if he lied to her about the military parents thing and then he goes along with it until she finds out somehow? Just an idea, if not, I can change my post or he can only answer the question about where he's lived}

Hannah couldn't help but relax around Nieve's outgoing personality. She also couldn't help but notice how the other girl looked her over a little longer than necessary. However flattering Hannah found this, she was more interested in getting home and going to bed. That was what made her shift the conversation to one of business without hesitation. "I am here with The Vibe." Hannah put out the name of the radio station with a clear and business like tone. "I was actually wondering if you had the time to answer a few questions. I was hoping to be able to run a segment over the new up and coming star." Hannah turned up her charm with flattery of the singer, hoping she would agree to answer a few questions.

(I love that idea!)
Jaxon thought for a moment, he had just been given the opportunity to be whoever he wanted to be. "Their both army." He replied calmly. After all, lying wasn't exactly new to him. "We were based for a long time in Georgia when I was younger." He paused for a moment as if remembering. In reality, he was decided where would make a believable lie. "Most recently we have been to Washington, Michigan, Utah, and the United Kingdom for a summer." He glanced at her for a moment to judge her reaction to his lie, hoping that it had been effective.

Nieve didn't change her approach to the situation in the slightest. Truth be told, this wasn't an opportunity she wanted to pass up. Even if it wasn't a huge station, it was air time. And she knew that she shouldn't take that for granted, not yet. One day she'd be able to choose where she appeared, how and when. But now, while she was still trying to figure out what label she wanted to sign on with and trying all she could to prevent being a one-hit-wonder, she didn't have that privilege. "Of course," she replied brightly. "I have time for a few questions, I'm sure. Would you like to maybe ask them somewhere that isn't the edge of a dancefloor, though?" She nodded first to the bar and then towards the exit, giving her the choice. "My throat isn't going to hold up against all this noise for long."

"We can step outside then." Hannah turned to head out of the bar. Relief had washed over at the easy agreement. Hannah ducked through the crowd easily and made it into the parking lot. She hadn't realized how hot it was inside until she was hit with the cool outside air. She stopped on the sidewalk near the building and turned to face Nieve. Her brown curls bounced over her shoulder as she turned. She then pulled her small notepad and pen out of her back pocket and flipped it open, ready to jot down anything that the singer said.

Confusion crossed Mackenzie's features as he started naming states. She knit her eyebrows together as she thought about what he said before looking up at him. "There aren't any army or army joint bases in Michigan. Unless you meant Maryland or Missouri?" Those were the only two states she can think of starting with an 'M' they had any army bases in them but perhaps Montana had one. She would have asked Mexico but she didn't think that seemed very likely. She but her lip as she rethought about the statement before nodding her head, "yeah, the only thing up there is some Naval and Marine training thing. I wouldn't know much about it though. My family was never in either of those branches."

Jaxon frowned for a second in concentration. "Oh! Right!" He recovered quickly. "That was when my father was sent to a recruitment and personal training center." He felt a slight relief as he saw the school loom into view. He didn't know much about the army, so he wasn't sure how much longer he could keep up this lie. He had to admit, he was having some fun with this. It was the most that he had spoken to someone in ages.

"Thank you," Nieve replied as they stepped outside, the cool air and silence. She loves performing, but there was no denying that it made you overheat in a matter of minutes and lose your hearing not long after that - especially in a busy club where nobody really listened. She brought out her third and final water bottle, cradling it to her chest as she watched Hannah take out her notepad. "So, did you have questions prepared already?" she asked, nodding to the pad. "Or did you just want me to talk about myself for a while? Becuase I'm sure I could manage that, too."

Recruiting made much more sense, since they had recruiting centers everywhere really. She wouldn't know much about recruiting though, except a couple things about the test you had to take when you got in so that would determine your career field. "Recruiting? That sounds interesting, but anyway, enough about that. What sort of classes are you taking this year Jaxon? Do you plan on doing any sports?" Mackenzie was very into sports even though she may not look the part. She was a cheerleader in the fall, did track in the spring, Cross country also in the fall, and lacrosse. Which was a lot considering all of the hard classes she was taking and the community service work she had to do in her air force junior reserve officers training corps (AFJROTC). That certainly ate up a lot of time. Which made homework hard to get to. Most of her classes were anywhere from a C+ to an A-.

Hannah shrugged, "You go right on ahead, I am all ears." She had prepared some questions, but was more than pleased the Nieve was willing to talk about herself. It made it easier for Hannah to gather worthy material and learn what was important to the singer. "Ill just interject if I have a question if that's okay?" Hannah tilted her head slightly as she asked. Giving her almost an innocent and childish aura.

Jaxon realized that he hadn't even looked at his schedule. He pulled it roughly from the side pocket of his back pack and unfolded it. After a glance, he answered. "Just the core classes. And metals." He added as he spotted his last class of the day listed on his paper. He ignored the sports question. Sports definitely weren't his thing, even if he wanted to make friends.

Once you got her started, it was hard to shut Nieve up. However, there was just that slight issue of starting. She was silent for a little while, then began, seemingly at the beginning. "Okay, so I've always wanted to perform, right? I've been singing in local bars for a while, but even before then I was competing in talent contests, asking to sing at every wedding I attended, things like that. Then, what was it - you probably know this better than me - four months ago? Five? Lillian shared that video, you know? And it blew up. I woke up to hundreds of notifications on my phone, text messages from every single person I've ever known. And it's moved so fast since then. I mean, I'm not a household name or anything, most people won't have heard of me, just the song. But I have offers from record labels. Offers. Plural. Promises of a second album, one I won't have to pay for entirely out of my own pocket. A tour. It's exciting, but I guess it kind of feels like I'm cheating. I know this is how it works nowadays, but I worked so hard and that wasn't what got me here, it was someone who already had fame."

Mkay, no sports then... Mackenzie thought but if she were to have said that outloud, it would have been an either a sarcastic tone or irritable. She didn't plan on being petty and holding onto those things but with some people it just got to her. Hopefully it won't have to be like that with him. "Are you in any of the Honors classes? Maybe we have one together." She said with a shrug. She was curious as to see whether or not he was one of those students who did their work or not in class. She can't suspect anything now, considering there was a kid she used to go to school with and he had all A's in his classes yet looked almost just like Jaxon. "Oh, and for lunch, if you want to sit by anyone you can sit with me if you want. That's not too forward is it?" She asked with a slightly embarrassed chuckle. Mackenzie had a tendency to do that a lot.

Hannah allowed her to speak, jotting down as many notes as she could. She was keeping up quite well despite the fast flow of words. She interjected with a few questions here and there. "Have you ever had any private singing lessons?" And "What labels are you most concidering?" And "Did you ever think you'd make it this far?" Were a few of them. After a while of speaking, Hannah had an abundance of material.

Jaxon was of average intellegence, but he also knew that if he moved in the middle of a semester, his grades wouldn't transfer effectively anyway. So often times he only did enough work to pass. Jaxon only shrugged to her offer of lunch. "We'll see." Was his only reply. After all, he was really hoping that she would forget about him by then and he could eat alone somewhere other than the cafeteria.

Nieve answered the questions as they came. "Have you had lessons?" No, my mother taught me. "What labels are you considering?" I don't want to make anyone think I've promised anything, but I do have my eye on two at the moment. "Did you ever think you'd make it this far?" A laugh, then no, I dreamed of it but I think that's all it ever was. A dream. She found that she didn't mind the talking so much, even if it did feel a little like an interrogation at times. Talking about herself never ceased to be entertaining, and it was a beautiful night, so she couldn't complain about that, either.

Ian Archer- Ian is 24 years old. He stands 6'2" tall. Ian is skinny, with a slight layer of muscle. He has messy brown hair and wears thick rimmed glasses, even though he only needs them for reading. He believes that it helps him look less intimidating and more intelligent. Not that he needs to look any more intelligent than he is. Ian was a top students all through high school as well as in the college classes he had taken. He had graduated from an engineering school nearby at the top of his class. His parents had been extremely supportive of Ian his entire life. Even when he didn't take the high paying engineering job that he had been offered after high school, they were still extremely proud of the technology job that he had accepted for a computer company in town. Ian's thick glasses make his light blue eyes pop ever so slightly more than they would without the glasses. Ian's main goal with his outfit choices was to blend in. He often settled for blue jeans and a pollo or flannel tshirt. I like him! Skylar Brennan-- Skylar is a short 23 year old woman, with a height of 5'5". She's rather thin, with not much muscle at all. She has long, vivid ginger hair and bright blue-green eyes. Skylar is a rather intelligent young lady, with a talent for math and art. She's a bit on the quieter side, and prefers to go about her daily business without much support from others. She's painfully shy and it takes a lot for her to just go out and even talk to the cashier at the grocery store. She works from home, writing computer programs for one of the biggest tech corporations in the world, and she likes the fact that she only has to leave her house to deposit her paycheck and to buy food for the week.

"Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me, and I am sure all of your fans will love hearing about this tomorrow."

Ian was sitting in front of his computer at home. He had gotten off work a couple hours earlier and he was now putting the finishing touches on his plan for the evening. He had been working it out for months. Memorizing the layout of the building and when the busiest times of day were, and learning all about the security system that he possibly could. He was completely prepared for the night and confident that it would go well.
All of this started about 2 years ago. It had started out as a small prank in a convenience store, but quickly escalated to banks. Ian had enjoyed the rush from the very beginning, not to mention that he was good at it. Ian had never imagined that he would turn into one of the most wanted criminals in the United States, but here he was. Mom and Dad would be so proud. He often thought sarcastically. The had wanted him to make something great of himself, but Ian didn't think that this is what they had in mind. I guess it's a good thing that nobody knows who the great bank thief is then. The thought always amused him. He imagined himself as a sort of superhero, but obviously not the comic book hero kind.
As he put the finishing touches on his plan, Ian glanced at his watch. It was nearly 5:30. The bank would be hitting its rush about now, and then it would be nearly empty. That is when he had decided to strike, 7:00. He stood from his computer and went to go change. He selected a pair of dark blue jeans and a black and grey plaid flannel. He folded up his laptop and put it into a bag along with a ski mask, baseball cap, and other tools that he may need. Once he was all packed, he headed out the door of his apartment and down the the street level.

"Here's hoping," Nieve replied, taking her hand and shaking it. She thought about asking some questions of her own, but she quickly dismissed that thought. Instead, she simply gave a warm smile. "Well, thank you for all of this, but I really should be getting a move on. It's going to be a long day for me tomorrow so I want to get home before midnight. It was lovely to meet you, though. Completely my pleasure."

Hannah dropped her hand back to her side. "Thank you." She smiled again before turning to head to her car. She unlocked the 2010 Jeep Liberty and slipped into the drivers seat. When her door was closed and locked after her, she lay her head back on the seat and closed her eyes for a moment. She let out a slow breath before opening them and putting her key into the ignition. She backed out of the spot slowly and headed home.

Nieve wanted to listen in on what Hannah had to say about her. She really did. She'd realised, when she'd woken up that morning, that she should have asked the night before what time it was going to air. It had just escaped her. But, luckily enough, she was alive during the time of the internet. It took her no more than three minutes to find the information she needed. That was how she found herself driving out of the city and away from her meeting with another label while listening to The Vibe and absentmindedly searching for any mention of her name.
