Myrnin | Hallway in the Museum, near Dipper | Lark - but others can pop in A small child. How unusual. Myrnin frowned just a little, even as a small corner of his brain was snickering. For some unknown reason, a part of him found the situation amusing that such a creature was here. "Myrnin," he said simply. Going to introduce me? snarked the imaginary person who wasn't actually there. Myrnin tried not to look at him. He'd just look like he was looking at empty air. He didn't say anything either. To the illusion, that was. To Dipper, he said, "When did you get here?" He wasn't sure if Dipper was new or not. Everything was up for debate in this place.

Bummer? Lupin relaxed just slightly, though his eyes were still roving over Castiel like some sort of search beam. He didn't know what to do about this mess. And he personally didn't want to know. It was about as good as things were probably going to get. "Yes I got the note. That was a very long time ago," he muttered. It felt like months now. But that was the same concept that could have been given if it had just been a day. Nothing felt like it was running on clear time anymore. "What do you think about it?" he asked after a second. There wasn't much to be said about whether Castiel knew what he was. If they had any intentions, wouldn't they have made them clear? But as it stood ... Lupin only had a baseline of how angels acted in his world. A bit too big for their current attire all around, in his personal and biased opinion. Distance didn't make the heart grow fonder. More like cynical. "A lot of things have happened here. If your new ... you're in for an experience."

Love the idea! )
Conan | same room as Rudy | AuranskyThe other person in the room bolted into a sitting position. That was a struggle in itself, since as soon as he had, there was a punch of dizziness and fear that Conan wasn't usually willing to let himself fear. This time his hands trembled with the exertion that he'd supposedly expended but ... hadn't. He wasn't running. Rudy wasn't either. What had happened? Or, rather, had it happened at all. Shaking off the thought, Conan hurriedly rolled off the bed. He tried to stand, but had to hold a hand out to brace himself up. Rudy seemed to be having similar problems. Conan was willing to bet anything that they'd both had the same "dream" but he couldn't be sure until he asked. "What did you just wake up from?" he hissed out between his teeth. "What were you dreaming about?"

(XD Might be slightly confused. Is Sytry there? Or ...? I'm not sure where these characters are in relation to each other.) "How delightful," said Sytry, sounding just a touch bored. Or maybe that was just a dull tone of voice. It was difficult to tell. But they still seemed to be willing to chat with "Poltergeist" even if he apparently had this ability. "You're aware that Poltergeist are known for throwing objects around a room rather than actually possessing others, correct? Your title seems a bit flawed." Mind-control ... how interesting. Sytry wasn't sure if they'd run into something like that recently.

Poltergeist // Sytry mintedstar/fur, open for others There comes a time when nobody can hide their true emotions. This was Ryan King's. "Of course I know that! But all of the more fitting names were taken by super heroes and villains of old!" He shouted out to Sytry, who still was not visible, quite obviously very, very offended. "Pretty soon I'll be acting like a realpoltergeist, and when that happens, you'll regret you ever said anything in your life!" He hated being called, however hidden behind the "I'm trying to help you" attitude, stupid, or without common knowledge, especially when he did know it.

Castiel wasn’t sure how, but they seemed to have managed to put the fallen angel at ease. At least, he seemed a bit more relaxed than he had been before. Why was he so tense, anyway? Oh, wait, maybe it was the fact that they were both in a random building with no idea where they were located, and no way of reaching their friends/family. Maybe. “That’s not encouraging.” They commented. The fact that the other person was still here wasn’t good. Then again, he could have been lying...Cas narrowed their blue eyes, trying to read the other angel. He didn’t look like he was lying. He looked nervous, but that was understandable. Cas shook their head slightly. They didn’t want to make any enemies they didn’t have to. “I thought it was very foolish.” They answered bluntly. “As angels, we both know enough about post-death experiences to know that whatever this is, it isn’t among them. Whoever this...Sable character is, they clearly don’t have a good idea of what we are.” They sighed. “What can you tell me about this place?” They asked finally.

Sorry for the long poof! Here's Alice, I'll have others later!]] Alice awoke staring at a plain white ceiling. As the young man's consciousness returned to him, his eyebrows knit themselves together and hazy memories started piecing back together. The normal reaction for someone in this situation would probably have been some form of confusion, shock, or panic, but Alice appeared simply bored. Maybe even content. With no sense of urgency he turned his head on the pillow to look over the rest of the room before finally sitting up and raising his arms in a long stretch. He yawned. Is this the Looking Glass World? Guess that idiot girl actually managed to pull me through... He blinked, suddenly looking rather irritated as the aforementioned girl's face flashed in his mind. Doesn't look like either world we were shown, though. After stretching, he sighed softly and... laid back down again. Definitely not in that black void anymore. Shame, it was growing on me. He shifted a bit on the bed and pulled the blanket up over his shoulders. At least it's quiet.(XD Want me to throw someone at him? Seems a shame to wake him.) (I somehow missed this. D: ) There was a soft knock on the door, as if it wasn't sure it wanted to interrupt. Then it grew harder the second time around and a voice - female, no-nonsense, with an accent - said, "Hello? I can hear someone in there. So do you want to come out or not." The shift in locations had thrown Sally off. Particularly since she didn't trust this place to actually do anything appropriate. There was just too much going on and too much of it was the result of Sable or who knew what else messing with the museum. She didn't like it, not one bit. So she was ready to face whoever had decided to hide out in this particular room. ( Kuragehime )

"Very threatening," Sytry said, sounding unamused. They weren't particularly threatened, even if they probably should have been just a bit more aware of their personal limitations. But that wasn't really something they did. They were more likely to express themselves with sass. Moving closer to Potergeist, they added, "Anyway, why are there so few names? Or a reason not to take an old one? I see little reason why you shouldn't get any name you want. Hardly feel like they should be trademarked."

Poltergeist // Sytry, open for others // mintedstar/fur "Well, you see, every time I would have gotten mentioned or introduced, they would have gotten confused on which one or thought me a copy.", he said, forcing himself to calm down, though annoyed by the fact that Sytry didn't sound the slightest bit worried. "Plus, a lot do have the nerve to trademark their names.", he added. He could now see Sytry's feathered headdress. "Now, are you just the feathers, or are you more than a sentient hat?", he said, hoping to annoy Sytry the way they annoyed him.

Shoot, they said it! Lupin took a step back. Just a small one. His suspicions heightening. He wasn't sure what to do. He felt like he was being baited, but what could he do about that? There wasn't much he could do about the situation other than be aware it existed. "Yesssss?" he half hissed, the sound escaping through his lips. He waited for a second, then pondered the actual question, since its contents had gone completely over his head. "I don't," he said. "You've been here for a couple minutes, at most, and I can tell you I don't know what's going on. I don't know if it is a post-death experience, but it's something." Another hesitation. "He knows exactly what we are," Lupin added cryptically. "Unless you have a set plan for what to do and what needs to happen to work all of this out, I can't claim to have any idea."

"Oh, I'm sure I'd be quite stylish as a sentient hat," said Sytry, spinning a little. The headdress bobbed a bit with the movement. Still walking in the direction of Poltergeist, the demon managed a small laugh. "And do you intend to trademark your name then? Perhaps that would make it more impressive if someone had to pay you every time it was used, yes?" Not exactly how it worked, as far as Sytry knew, but they weren't completely sure if poking fun at this other museum inhabitant was worth their time yet. He certainly wasn't getting under their skin.

(No worries!) Myrnin | Hallway in the Museum | Lark"Concept of time is in the head," Myrnin muttered. "It's a human invention anyway, so are you really surprised that there's still a sense of time passing? I ... imagine it's personal, however. That things can feel like a lot of time has passed for one person. It's ... interactions with other people and creatures here which makes it feel like time passes at all. If no one is around ...?" He shrugged. He made the movement as if to dismiss the conversation or make the statement feel lighter, but that wasn't the case. He had first hand experience with the odd flow of personal time. He felt like he'd been here forever. "Unless what?" he asked after a second.

Dipper | Hallway in the Museum | Myrnin "I just got kidnapped? Time is weird, dude." Dipper raised his eyebrow at the man's mumblings. Grunkle Ford had the same tendency to talk about things as if anyone else knew what he was talking about. Then he'd nod along to whatever had been just said acting like his uncle's one and only pupil would. "This whole place is weird." Its also weird that he was talking to an adult who was all too eager to talk about human ideas. Frankly he needed a break from some weirdness, he and the town went through enough already. "Unless we're really dead? I don't trust what the note said. Wait, did you get Salem's note too?" He asked Myrnin stuffing down the next theory he could have thought up.

Oops. Castiel wasn’t sure what they’d done to ruin what little ease they’d managed to scrape up, but it seemed to be gone. The suspicion was back in the air, and they were none the wiser as to why. They sighed a little. It would have been so much easier if they could at least read people, but that had never been their strongest point. Oh well. If the other angel had a serious problem, hopefully he’d just say it. They didn’t blink or look away. Whatever information they were going to get, it would hopefully at least clear up some of the mystery. It didn’t. They almost rolled their eyes. They actually did purse their lips. “So you can’t tell me anything?” They asked, disappointment in their tone. “Of course it’s ‘something’. That doesn’t help me.” They shook their head, exhaling. “Well, I can tell you that we aren’t dead.” He said flatly. “And - “ They stopped. Something had just occurred to them. They stared at Lupin, eyes narrowed to slits, trying to work it out. “How are you an angel if I don’t recognize you?” He asked finally, sounding suspicious for the first time. “That doesn’t make any sense. Do you know me?”

Sytry | in a hallway with Poltergeist | Brokenstar "I think you underestimate my ability to pick on anyone, regardless of newness or location," said Sytry with a yawn. They were growing bored, for starters. They wished they had something sweet on them. Cake, for example. That sounded like a good idea. "I've tried to escape," they added with a yawn. "It's basically been down to this place not really letting you. As for what I'm trying to find ..." They tapped a few of their long fingers against their arm. "A way out and back to my regular life, of course. Why? What about you?"

Poltergeist // Sytry // mintedstar/fur"Wait, is that passing into the afterlife, or being resurrected?", he inquired, confused on which a demon, devil, or other otherworldly beings would choose. "'Cause I'm trying to get resurrected.". He no longer sounded the slightest bit angry. He was good at that. "Well, it might help to get to either destination by sticking together." Under his helmet, Ryan hid a smirk under a grin, just in case Sytry could see through armor. "Maybe somewhere in here I can find a blaster rifle or pistol. Or just a normal pistol or rifle?", he muttered under his breath, wondering what else is in here.

Do you know me?” (The idea that Lupin will ever speak up is hilarious.) Lupin twisted several of the rings on his fingers back and forth, finding it easier to focus on them than it was to focus on Cas. Needless to say, it didn't work that well. "I can tell you that this place has an odd reaction to powers," he said. "That you don't need to eat or sleep, even if you originally need to. Time doesn't pass like it should here - there isn't any way to tell if you've been here for an hour or a day. There are other things, of course." His eyes narrowed. He backed up under the eyes that Cas suddenly directed at him. He took a hasty tenseness in his shoulders. "No. No I don't." He couldn't help pursing his lips. "I'm not sure why. It might be because we're from other worlds."

(Fjdkfkkdkf poor Lupin honestly. He has his hands full) Cas nodded slowly, their eyes still narrowed. They seemed intensely focused on the other person now, even more than before, though the information seemed to help. A little. “I see.” They said thoughtfully, tilting their head slightly. “That...does sound a bit like the afterlife, actually. Only, it would be easy for something to make that much up from reading human books, so I’m not really that impressed.” They realized it was unreasonable to expect the other angel to give all the information he had in the first five minutes of meeting them, but they were feeling s little bit unreasonable. Maybe that had something to do with the fact that, oh yeah, they were not supposed to be here. “I see.” They said slowly, still staring. “What other worlds? What are you talking about? Because I know a lot about how angels work, and I should have seen you before, and I should know your name. If you’re truly my brother, I should know you!” They were getting a little bit upset now. It was hard to blame them, under the circumstances.

"Returning to hell," Sytry said with a sigh, as if this should have been obvious. "A devil can still die." They knew that far to well, didn't they? Their eyebrows knit together before they let the memory go. "It's always possible to find those things," Sytry agreed. They strode past Poltergeist. "But if you wanted to find something, I would guess that it's a good idea to head this way, yes?"

Myrnin | Hallway with Dipper | Lark "Kidnapped is a light way of putting it," Myrnin said with a shrug. There was a whole larger problem then considering this kidnapping. As far as Myrnin could consider, this was more along the lines of hiding them away. Crossing his arms in front of his chest, Myrnin snorted. It seemed so hard to imagine that he wasn't dead at this point. There was too much around to consider otherwise. He'd died here and come back - in a fashion. He hadn't 'died' so much as ... well, gotten very hurt. This place was odd. He knew there were other options for what could be going on here, but dead seemed the most likely option. "I think that it's hard to prove we're dead," he said to Dipper. "But it's very hard to disprove as well." He rummaged in a pocket and pulled out Sable's letter. Somehow, even after all he'd been here, it was still whole. There had to be some magic too that. "Yes, I got it."

"Kid?" questioned Sytry, less out of curiosity and more out of want for something to say. There wasn't much to Poltergeist that they knew yet - other than the fact that the name seemed to be a touchy subject. Truthfully, they weren't sure if knowing anything mattered, but they'd give the option a go anyway. "You seem very caught up within your own head," they admitted without turning to look. "Perhaps you'd like to share?"

At least, there wasn't any reason for Lupin to think that he was. Even if this was some fake idea of the afterlife, that didn't change that they were stuck here. It seemed to just make it a bit more obvious that they needed some way out. "I can't help if you know me or not," Lupin said with a frown. "I don't know you either if it helps, but clearly we can at least tell the other is angelic. And by other worlds I mean other realities. Walk around here enough and that starts to become pretty clear. A lot of this stuff just wouldn't work in my world, but it works here." He wasn't sure how to not make Cas upset. It just seemed to be where they were going.
