Rudy eyed Conan briefly with a questionable look, the other boy was doubting this. Maybe he should be too? "Well, we made it to the X." He tried to sound optimistic. "But I have no clue as to whether it's a good thing or not." He looked over at the moving water, at least it looked like a body of water. The other boy, did bring up an important fact, Water was normally blue. Oh thank goodness, same color for both of us. I didn't want to be the oddone He would have set a sigh of relief, but the other boy brought up an important question. "Run.." he softly repeated, looking at the body of distorted black and white body of water approaching. It was at the bottom of the hill, but it seemed to be coming. he took an unconscious step back. "As much as I want to stick around, and explore it.." Rudy softly trailed out. "Maybe, it be best we um... go anywhere that isn't here?" He took another step back. In the background, the large distorted mass of black and white, was rising elevation, as water to a cup. It was approaching , and that was the reality. Small legs. Conan was once again found himself running away from something and hardly able to keep up with what he thought to be an appropriate speed for running. At least he was a bit more agile. The dark water behind him was impossible to get out of his thoughts as he raised in the opposite direction of it, following Rudy for the most part but also trying to get ahead in his own little sprint for what he assumed was his life. "Where to!" he called the Rudy. This wasn't his sort of thing. Rudy was the one who hopped through realities or whatever this was. "Chalkzone" and the like. Conan wasn't familiar with it at all. This was where things became bad, he felt. When he got eaten by a bunch of river squiggles, he was going to believe it was all a dream. It had to be if this was the situation he got into. (Ouch. Sorry for the late reply and the short one at that.)

<Raintalon>"I don't know," said Newt, looking at the ring with less intensity than Mei. But he was well enough versed in the ways of material possession to know that the ring was probably important to someone. The only issue was ... who? It felt like anything here could be important. Anything here could be a way out, a way forward, or a way back. It was just a matter of figuring out which it was. Then there was the fact that this ring might belong to someone. Or maybe even belong to Sable. That in itself was an odd question to think about. "What do you think we should do with it?" he asked. He assumed they should keep it. He didn't think he should point it out, since he had no intention of leaving yet ... but what if it was one of the ways out of here?

*Screenname: @/lynxleap(𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨) *Name: Hollister Valdera Gender: Female Age: 16 *Description: Short, almost comically so, but not quite midget-like, Holly is a petite girl who lacks physical strength. That isn’t to say she isn’t good at dodging, running, and climbing, but she can’t exactly lift anything to save her undead life. Standing at about 4’10”, Holly is a girl with quite the unique look. Her hair is more of a wild mane, black with white tips, and reveals the left side of her face as it swoops just at the level of her eyebrow. Her left eye is a scarlet color, similar to blood, while her right is an unnatural green. She’s always seen wearing a necklace type jewel that seems to be a dark blue color, and always has a strange red and green enchanted bloodstone on hand. She’s almost always seen with a grin or smile. Usually behind her are a part of two floating wings that can transform into larger ones at her will. Sometimes they disappear altogether. *Personality: Holly is a girl of many talents, most of which include being a complete and utter nuisance. She’s a snappy, sassy, sarcastic little thing who absolutely loves toying with other people for her own amusement. Deep down, she’s a bit of a pessimist, but she always seems calm and collected. That doesn’t mean she won’t flaunt her powers to anyone who challenges her. She absolutely hates it when people point out her small stature or question her ability to do anything. She’s barely ever empathetic, and if she is, she’ll usually make fun of the problem to try and get it to go away. She tends to always have a grin on her face, but they never seem too real, and she’s much too secretive to reveal any information on her past experiences. All that’s known is that death isn’t unknown to her, before this whole ordeal, she was stuck in tandem between life and death. She’s an intelligent girl, whose passionately stubborn and one whose perhaps hard to trust, and refuses to trust others herself. Because of her nature, some have referred to her as Hollow, but mostly she gained the notorious name of Cheshire. Power (if any): Telekenesis and short distance teleportation. She can levitate due to the wings(though they come from a jewel, her necklace) and uses an enchanted bloodstone that can shift into any weapon of her choosing, though the weapon has no special abilities. Though she never uses it, she can also possess/control certain people. Her powers all link to her energy levels, except for the wings and the bloodstone, and are dependent on her emotional control. *Tell me. Are we alive?(The code word. Read the rules.): We are all dead here. So nope, I think we’re very much dead. *Path Chosen (If you don't understand look through the choices in the intro): Heck If she cares. Other: While she seems like an overpowered character, the fact remains that she’s mostly all bark and no bite. Sure, she could easily hurt or kill someone, but there’s no fun in doing so for her. For the most parts, all she ever uses is minor telekinesis and teleportation. Both are limited to her weight and energy, and she usually uses them to cause mischief. *Starting Role-Play post(everyone start out in their room):
Well this was just the most precarious of situations. It was laughable, really! She’s been kidnapped into some foreign universe and she’s expected to simply play by some hogwash rules. The fact was, Cheshire, Hollow, Holli-no don’t call her by her real name-Holly was pleasantly surprised to wake up and receive the news she was dead. Why, she was stuck for years between life and death, simply having to haunt like some ghost. Well no more! Now she was free to do whatever she pleased.
Though, this would be very boring is she was all alone in this haunted place. No one to bother or pest? Now she couldn’t stand the very idea of that! But the little note explained that she did have people to bother, which was fine by her. More people to drive insane, thus more entertaining to watch!
She stopped in her childish glee when she noticed the room around her. She took almost no notice to the passive and tame colors that would usually dazzle the eye. But she was almost a demon in nature. Nothing was fine by her unless she was completely in control of the situation, which is why she promptly decided that her goal in this museum would be to make the lives of those around her a living-Well, simply put, she would make them wish they were even more dead than they were now.
Now, that note offered a few different paths and choices. None at all caught her eyes. She didn’t want to move on, she was sure she didn’t deserve that chance. Returning to her life before would be just the same, and bothersome not to mention, and she had no idea about this place yet. And she knew life wasn’t no some game, she faced many issues before. Many of them were of her own making, but she had to do something to pass time. Though, she wasn’t sure this place was exactly in the dimension of time.
It was nice though, as she glanced at the drab walls, to notice she had a heartbeat. Before, she was a deadly cold haunting thing, as many called her then, a lemure. This new place offered new possibilities. Though she felt a bit paranoid about the whole experience, floating up to sit midair and glare at the bed in thought. One may have been able to cook marshmallows from the burning glare she gave that bed.
Though, when she decided to just roll with whatever this place threw at her, she landed back on the ground, triumphant smirk unmoving, as her black hair bobbed along with her. With a simple touch to the stone on her collar, the wings that usually floated by her vanished like smoke. Then her mismatched gaze flickered from side to side, grin growing as she cackled a low, simple eerie laugh, “Let the games begin!” She commented, like a pep talk all for herself. And without further ado, the small girl teleported to the hallway just outside her door. Going much further would drain the young fool, and she wasn’t exactly willing to put herself on an afterdeath bed because she wanted to overuse her abilities.
“Well, isnt this just neat?” She wondered aloud as she took in her surroundings.

Kuragehime(I apologize again >.< I think I'm back now Ah this is so terrible, I gotta get used to rp'ing again) Snake offered her a warm smile, but soon that faded as soon as Robin asked that question. He slowly dropped his eye contact with her, slowly nodding. "Oh um, yes I can. Sorry I should have told you," he replied softly. He sighed and looked back up at her, one of the snakes hissing. "But I hope you don't mind if we tag along. We don't bite and we can be quite helpful, says Oscar."

Spinel followed the Count, surprisingly taking her time instead of bouncing ahead or something. Her gaze flicked around every few seconds, trying to take in every detail of her surroundings. “Gee, I guess.” She shrugged absently, letting her thoughts wander for a quick moment. Truth be told, she was already aching to get back. What were the Diamonds thinking? Did they miss her? She was already missing them a bit. Say, what if they forgot about her? The gem felt a small pinch of panic, before brushing the thoughts away. She shouldn’t make assumptions - of course they would miss her. ‘Course. She stopped a moment later, glancing over the vase with a slightly curious expression. The gem nodded slightly in response, before asking in a blunt sort of tone, “What’s it do?” (It's cool! <3) Kuragehime

(I honestly totally missed this. o.o Sorry Hime!) "So your main desire for staying in this place is so you can stay dead," said Sally, her voice completely deadpan. No, no, actually there was a bit of a reaction. She sounded a bit nonplussed. Then her eyes widened. "Wait? There was a group option ..." She reached into a pocket and pulled out her own piece of paper. She read through the sheet, then read through it again. She didn't completely remember what it had said, but she had sworn she had read a completely different piece of paper than the one she had when she had arrived. "What is this!" She said, astonished. Then she looked at Henry. "Let me see your paper!" she demanded. There had to be a mistake of some sort. This was strange. No worries! Sorry for the late reply!]] "Wah!" Henry yelped. Sally's sudden demand had startled the little mage. "Uh, here!" He held up his slip of paper to her. "See? The group option's gone on mine too," he huffed. "I didn't know the rules could just go and change on us like that..." He took the paper back and tucked it into his garments before adjusting his collar a bit. "Guess that makes things a little harder, huh? Wait, are we enemies now? Do we have to stop hanging out together?" he gasped, eyes wide. "I don't understand," Sally said, taking the piece of paper and almost squinting at it. This was wrong. It hadn't been like this before. She cursed. Several times. Then she held the piece of paper out to Henry again so he could take it while the lines along her brow deepened in thought. This was tricky. A lot more than she thought it would be. "No. No, I don't think that we're enemies. That would be stupid. But things just got a lot more complicated." Tapping the ground with her foot she slowly turned, looking at what was around her. "This is a mess," she said, not even referring to the room or talking to Henry. She turned back. "We're going to look for Sable. Now." It wasn't a request.

"This vase? Well, it can do a few different things," he started. He reached out and delicately traced his gloved fingers along the smooth surface, eyes widening a bit when it appeared that the design seemed to ebb and flow with the movement of his hand. Shaking his head he brought his train of thought back to answering his companion's question. "Some argue that a vase like this is just for display - to set atop a pedestal like this for one to gaze upon and appreciate from afar. Or, you may fill it with water and place a bouquet of flowers inside to brighten up a room or cheer up a loved one," Saint-Germain went on, a gentle smile coming to his face.

mintedstar/fur and 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨: Henry took the paper back, at first happy to hear they weren't enemies... but then a small frown came to his face as Sally went on. "Aww, 'complicated' isn't a very fun word..." he whined, stuffing the paper back into a pocket. "Messes are kinda fun though~" he said mostly to himself. He stood back and clutched the two tomes to his chest, silently watching Sally turn around again. He looked up from her tapping foot at last with raised eyebrows once he heard the new plan and his frown shifted into an excited grin. "OOH~ We're gonna go straight to the big boss himself? Now that's even better! Hyahaha!" His cloak fluttered as he turned around and around to judge each possible direction. "Where do you think would be a good place to start? IS there like a special office or something in here?"

He was usually called a freak for being able to understand snakes- that and because of his appearance. This place was much different though, and in fact, he felt more comfortable here than back in his world. "Ah, well anyway we should probably get going. But I must warn you, some things in this place might start a fight, so be careful, says Oscar." With that, Snake gestured for Robin to follow as he turned around, heading in the direction he was going before he had run into her. "Unfortunately we haven't been able to find any of the artifacts, but we've gotten pretty close, says Oscar."

*Screenname: @/coniferous *Name: Arin Linda Goh Gender: dfab female Age: 16 years *Description: Arin is stout, slightly muscled, and unevenly tanned. She’s rather lanky and has more angled features rather than soft roundness. Arin has a couple of knife scars on her right hand, an accident that happened while she was still getting used to living alone in the woods. She has slightly grimy black hair which is pulled back in a long braid, tied with a pale red ribbon, which is equally soiled. (Said red ribbon looks like a snake.) Her clothes are relatively fine in terms of rips and tears, but they’re not the cleanest. As a rat snake, Arin sports gray-brown scales, a slightly oval-ish head, and several black stripes. She’s slightly bigger than average. *Personality: Due to her time on the run from someone who wanted retribution for his three sons’ deaths, Arin has grown to be solitary and introverted, but self-reliant. She prefers working on her own, and usually runs from conflict rather than facing it. She’s pretty cowardly, that’s what she is. Arin resorts to trickery and logical tactics instead. She’s not particularly sociable, having lived away from society for the most of her life, and she struggles to understand exaggerations and all sorts of word plays. Arin is blunt – but she is observant in situations that require her to take action. Arin tends to be instinctive and reflexive, prioritizing current events over what might happen in the future. taken from an old folktale – a rat snake was trying to eat three quails when a young scholar came along and saved the quails by killing the snake. The snake’s mate then tried to wreck vengeance on the scholar by threatening to eat him unless the morning bell tolled right then and there – at which point the bell tolled (it was dusk at the time, by the way). The snake left and the scholar went to investigate the bell – the three quails had died by banging their heads against the bell. So in short the someone who wants retribution for his sons’ deaths is the father of these three quails and Arin is the daughter of the two snakes who tried to 1. Kill three quails and 2. Kill a scholar. Power (if any): As Arin comes from a village where all the people can shapeshift into one specific animal, her ability to change into a rat snake surprised no one there. *Tell me. Are we alive?: Evidently not *Path Chosen: path 1 – acceptance of death (probability says Arin’s relieved) Other: She can involuntarily change into her snake form if spooked or if she is made uncomfortable and slither off. And yes, she sheds her skin regularly but not when she’s human. *Starting Role-Play post: Arin woke with a jolt. Dang… she rubbed her head, messing up her braid. She must’ve hit her head hard. This wasn’t the forest. This was… some weird room. Except this had to be the dingiest room she’d ever been in, and she’d spent a night in a broken-down abandoned thatched hut. Arin sat down on the bed with a thump and several protesting creaks from it, stretching out her arms. Her right hand hit something. Said something dropped to the ground. Arin rolled over, snatching up the object. It was a note. Frowning, the girl unfolded it. You are dead. Arin blinked. Come again? She stared at the note. It had to be some joke, right? She was supposed to be taken by some white-faced bloke psychopomp if the stories about death were correct. Arin continued staring at the note. Well… if she was dead, that meant no more running from Quinden Jang. No more running. Arin gave a fist-pump. Finally! So… she was really dead? Was she really dead? She didn’t feel like a soulless corpse. Arin scratched her head again. And this definitely didn’t seem like an Afterworld. But technically, Arin decided, this was better than having a creepy man greeting you after death. Arin looked at the note again, skimming the note and checking the first box with a surprisingly jaunty flick of her hand. Rubbing her hands, she took a peek outside. It was hard to say whether the hall was in better condition or worse than the room. It stank of musk and not having been cleaned for at least five years. Arin gave a groan. She wasn’t going to be soiling her clothes this time. There was clearly no place where she could wash them. Inhaling deeply, Arin closed her eyes and stuck both arms in front of her. Scales slowly covered them, making their way across her torso, then all the way down to her legs and head. When she re-opened her eyes. The world was clearly bigger and the ceiling was ten times higher than it had been before. The rat snake glided down the dark corridor, trying to avoid junk in the way.

"Of course not," said Sally. Her nose twitched at the suggestion. If there had been an office all of this would have been easy. "But there's got to be some way to find him, right?" Just then, along the hallway that the blond vampire was walking, someone decided it would be a good idea to teleport right in front of her. Sally, to her credit, didn't flinch. She just took a hurried step back, arm out to make sure Henry ran into the arm rather than the new ... person. It was more likely that Henry would run face first into the arm considering the angle it was being held, but Sally wasn't paying attention to that. "Who are you?" she asked. Kuragehime 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨
