Same.  That is so my school. Today my history teacher had to have a talk with the class for acting like "monkeys" and "crazy people" during school hours. Seriously though with the way they act, calling them "crazy people" is an insult to people who are actually insane. Insane people don't act like that. I mean really \(.o.)/ |

Yeah really! I think the worst was always when we'd have a substitute teacher, because nobody wanted to listen, no one took them seriously so everyone just talked and ran their hijinks right through class. Never thought much of it at the time (other than kids can be huge jerks), but now that one of my best friends is in training to be a substitute teacher, it makes me feel even worse. Like, she's the sweetest person I've probably ever met, and you guys want her to have a bad time? Really?

People thought I was "the quiet" one in some of middle/most of high school, but that's basically because I actually listened in class  I'm quite the chatter otherwise. |

Whelp. Today someone asked me what my favorite color was, and I said "purple", and then people go "Oh my! She said a word!"  I guess I'm the quiet one, then. And of course there's no need to be polite to the quiet one because they're never going to protest anyway |

Maplestone360 : Good choice, purple is my favourite too. I feel like I just never really got the chance to open up to anyone until high school and then I did a bunch of extracurriculars. Being on student council definitely helped, and my true colours definitely shone when I joined musical theatre.

I've always been the quiet one unless spoken to when it comes to any other people other than family. See, this is what I hated so much about middle/high school and what I like so much about university; everyone just embraces their inner weirdo and everyone just loves them for it. For example I have a friend who travels around campus exclusively by unicycle.

Haha, that sounds like quite the eventful day/trip! It's been forever since I've been in one of those play parks. I think I had a party there when I turned 3. I don't remember much myself but I remember there was a merry go round ride and I used to get possessive and only want to ride on the ducks and not the hamburgers, so I once pushed some other kid right off one of the ducks I wanted to ride, haha
