Silus waited patiently until he had gone, then relaxed and looked at the hatchling. 'What have I told you about stealing things I don't tell you to steal?' He hissed, the hatchling sticking its tongue out and then huffily walking off into a corner to sulk. Silus, grumbling, sat down at his table to eat, and when finished he angrily began to pack his carryable things- he'd been found, and would have to move again. He was sick of moving- he'd really liked this hollow, too. Tannyll walked over to Fyacin, who had made herself comfy amongst the trees surrounding Silus' hollow. He turned then sat down on her claw, reclining slightly. "Now we wait." He said quietly.

Malen frowned, now remembering the details. Apparently, this thief was very good and quite dangerous. If a questor had gone after the thief, the leader would have been worried. Still, with a difficult thief, it may take longer. "Yeah. He doesn't leave for long." She repeated, more for herself than anyone. Her worries settled for now. Her eyes drifted around the fort. "They agreed, though with a couple grumbles about late night patrolling." She lightly said, looked back at Drustan with a small smile appearing on her lips. ((Here for half an hour; been at work and exhausted)) Drustan smiled at her happily and nodded, content with the knowledge. 'Well- they should be more eager to protect their students, rather than on gathering sleep. I'd much rather dedicate a portion of my life on keeping students safe than on defending my eyelids.' He said, humour in his tone. Lilith, nearby, made a noise that sounded like a laugh and shook her head at him. you are silly, Drustan.i do try. he replied, winking at the dragon, before looking at Malen. 'I suppose I shall get to work on those lists- let's cross our fingers and hope our elf finds his thief.'

Eventually, Silus and Cobak emerged, and walked past the two seemingly without noticing them- they were arguing with each other rather aggressively, Silus waving his arms about with frustration and Cobak his wings. They walked all the way past and began to head into the woods, continuing to argue the whole way, before Silus stand-offishly turned his head away and haughtily refused to acknowledge the hatchlings existence. Now this annoyed Cobak; and made him upset. Chirping with alarm he strained to get Silus' attention, then made a crying noise when he failed. 'Well, you shouldn't be such a nuisance then, should you?' Silus finally said, looking down crossly at the baby. 'You should behave yourself.' Cobak stuck out his tongue, then climbed up Silus' back to rest over his shoulders, feeling tired from the long morning.

I hope you are feeling better now. Sorry for not replying during your half an hour. ) Malen smiled at Drustan's words. Though she was sure the man didn't mind because a) he cared and she suspected he stayed up late anyway. She knew the man was always studying something different. After all, he had put away something when she arrived this morning, but she had neglected to ask about it. She should have. It was always interesting to see what new information people can dig up. "Mind if I tag along? It has been far too long since I've walked around and checked up on everyone." Malen asked.

((Sure! I'm desperate to use my bad elf omg. I want her to be from the kingdom that's converting the riders. There should be a really really bad king who basically just wants to rule over all of the riders, and have them fight for him and take over the different kingdoms?))

He would have offered her his arm, but she'd never reach, so he didn't bother. Instead he began to walk- slowly, so his long strides could match her shorter ones. Lilith followed behind them, politely keeping her distance to allow the two humanoids to talk. 'I believe we should start from the top of the castle, and work our way down.' He said, pointing to the towers. 'Then we can call everyone to the hall, and make the announcement of the curfew. Does this sound alright to you?'

Yes, I have been meaning to discuss my ideas. I've thought about making the northern elves be the ones converting dragon riders. The cave/mountain up in the top right corner is where the dragon riders would be hiding. I'm thinking the note/clue should lead Malen and Drustan to the small pass through the mountains where the elves basically explain their ideas to the new recruits.
After a while, I figured the N Elves could launch an attack on the guild, figuring they had to destroy the guild so when they attack the humans, the humans wouldn't have any back up. I don't know if the guild should be momentarily scattered or just weakened. )

Great! Sorry for the poof. I fell asleep. ^^' )
Malen was grateful for the tall man's consideration. She was better at telling people to slow down, but back when she had first joined, she would always be running after the long legged humanoids and cursing them under her breath. "We can't call people and announce until we have Tannyll's approval." She reminded him. She did like the fact the founders tried to prevent corruption or bad decisions, but sometimes the rules put them in a tough spot. It was a bit irritating. "We can send a raven to him if he doesn't show up tomorrow." She suggested as she climbed the stairs to the third floor. Only the newbies had the third floor due to everyone's mutual dislike of stairs. Once she reached the top, she looked around. "I think the young elf that went missing had a room up here." She said, looking up at Drustan.

She said, looking up at Drustan. 'A Raven sounds good.' Drustan agreed, glancing around at all of the students to ensure they were alright, greeting a few of them as they passed and offering them warm smiles. He glanced at her as she mentioned the elf, his expression thoughtful. 'Let's explore his room and see if we can find something.' He suggested, leading the way. ((Why don't they find a white scale, from Shard? Or a couple of them, leading outside? Maybe snagged on my elf's clothing and fell off when she infiltrated))

I kinda didn't want them to be kidnapped though. They are drafted into the cause by their own choice. But maybe Shard and your elf can fetch them? Is that what you meant? )
Malen gave a smile to the students but kept her eyes mostly on the doors and stone walls. She wasn't good with people. Despite being loud and expressive, she felt a bit awkward around others. She mostly had her family in her home and knew they wouldn't leave if she happened to mess up or such. She couldn't deny that the disappearance had been a blow to her esteem. She had thought she was doing a good job with the guild. She thought people wanted to stay. The dwarf bit her lip and kept her eyes low.

Sorry. I'm still a bit tired. But...ummm, I hate to say it, but if you have door-to-door salesmen that are trying to convince you to join a war to take back ur homeland, then you might need to move. That doesn't sound safe. x3 lol I can image the 'salespeople', while riding their dragons, throwing pebbles at people's windows and shouting their pitch once the window is opened. )

He looked through the students notes and homeworks, their books, under their mattress, just attempting to find some kind of clue that they were unhappy and had left; or trying to find evidence of a struggle, but there was just... nothing.

Malen frowned as the search revealed nothing. His drawers were nearly empty. In fact, Malen was a little worried. The room seemed too neat. There was too little stuff. She understood that not all people was fond of mementoes or extras, but she would think he would have more...stuff. In fact, most of his clothes were gone. "This guy must have washed his clothes everyday or he planed to go and packed his things." she said in a light-hearted tone. In all seriousness, this did tell them something. The student left of his own freewill. "Did you find anything?" She asked, halfway turning to look at Drustan.

The distance between the elf and the dragon gan to receed, and she effortlessly cast her arm in front of him and stopped him in his tracks.
