The Dragon Rider's Guild---- Welcome ---- No matter your past, race, or occupation, the guild will accept you and help you. The founders of the guild wanted everyone to be able to come and ask for help. They wanted the riders to lead people into a new era of peace. It was rough and the world is still now peaceful, not in the least. Riders are still being called to settle disputes between towns, help with a border spat, and sometimes even to help a town get rid of a nasty predator. Admittedly, it could be worse. It seems like the world is in an unsteady truce with only small fights.
However, danger will soon come to these riders as their friends start to disappear. The test of loyalty shall start to strain the guild to its limit. They will have to decided whether to try to continue with their founder's mission or to turn their backs and fight for their homelands.
---- Rules ----Can't be all fun and games.
1) Follow the forum rules. 2) If you're on mobile, you might not be able to see the spoiler boxes. They are in the lore section to condense the page. I'm currently trying to fix the colors. 3) Please make characters with the lore in mind. I know it is a lot to read, but just make sure you know about the basics. Also don't make perfect characters. I think we all know this but still, just don't. 4) There is no need to read all of the lore at once since it would be a lot to read and remember. While it is useful, you could skip reading about every dragon. 5) Don't overpower your character and be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of your character. 6) Nothing over PG-13 please. I worked hard on this thread and don't want it to be deleted. 7) How much to type? How much can you type? I'm not saying you should type only a sentence, but just go with what your comfortable with. Don't stuff with fluff. 8) Check up on the News post before you join. I might post restrictions if we have too many of a rank.

*Fine to join without or to request an open member. Open members are below. It is also okay to join with your own dragon and humanoid combo.
Open Members Zafer needs a dragon
** For dwarves and elves, who have a longer life span, take away one zero, ex. 170 years means looks 17 without glamour. Dwarves have a typical lifespan of 700 years and Elves have a typical lifespan of 900 years. Dragons grow as quickly as humans but live much longer. Humans live up to 100 years while dragons live until killed.
---- News ----OOC -- First couple days - Blood and Night joined! Welcome!

---- Plot ----Main Riders are starting to disappear. Strange thing is, they don't just disappear while on a mission. They disappear when they are at the guild. This is starting to worry the higher ups and they are trying to hide these events.
More will be added as the plot progresses.
Side, aka quests There isn't even a scrap of paper up on the quest board. There are nails embedded into the wood, so there must have been something, right?
Feel free to come up with one or two.

Lore---- Humanoids ---- You open this book to find a small blurb in the prologue. Great! Now you don’t have to read the whole book.
Humans
Humans come in all shapes and sizes. All different colors as well. There seems to be no end to them. As for their nature, they are known to be the bringers of chaos and ofte band together with their own kind. They may have different personalities, but, at the core, they always seem to bring destruction. After all, their magic is mostly offensive and destructive. The elves hate them and the dwarves stand them.
They currently have no ruler. Instead, they follow the lead family in their groups. A group consists of five families along with the lead, a total of six. Zavi does have a mayor, Mayor Aston. Though the man is aged, his mind is as sharp as a dagger. Not many can read him.
Dwarves
They are normally short in stature but solid. Darker hair is common but lighter hair is not unheard of. They are surprisingly well-kept and very proud. Never say a dwarf can’t do something. They will try to prove you wrong. They are dedicated and with the strength of mind that not many possess. Their magic is commonly defensive, usually using rocks, or some sort of heat magic. The dwarves seem to have no outwards hostility towards the other races though some comments about the elves and humans being weak and ‘leggy’ are common terms.
They have one ruler who sits on the throne. Queen Kaya sits on the throne. She led a battle against a traitorous necromancer, who had killed the last king. Her hair was turned white as the result of the long time exposure to his spell.
Elves
Elves are surprisingly similar to humans. The real thing that sets them apart is their eyes and ears. Elves have cat like pupils, which help them see in the dark, and also long, pointed ears, which help them...look different. No one really knows where the pointy ears came from. Their looks, especially the face, tends to be very beautiful and lovely, though this is commonly the work of ‘glamours’. Elves are talented in nature and illusion magic. They seem to have a stronger connection to magic than the rest.
Both the Southern and Northern elves have leaders in their communities. They have the 'Zaeim', which is their leader. The Zaeim for the Southern elves is Ghaba. He is old enough to have seen the war and fought in it. If un-glamoured, you would see burn marks covering his hands, feet, and legs. The Northern Elves have one for each town. Kam, in Wahid, is a younger elf, only a couple hundred years old and is known for being young and inexperienced. Mughlaq, in Thlath, is cold to outsiders that are not elves. He barely lets dragon riders step foot in his town. Khayin, in Athnan, is welcoming to the riders and normally quite reasonable.
---- Dragons ----You find this note tucked in a book. Perhaps it is one of the dragon keeper’s notes. Whoever it was wrote in fast scribbles and commonly crossed out their work. This was horrendous! You could barely make out the writing. Though whoever wrote it must have loved eastern dragons. Large arrows point to the Eastern and scribbled to the side is the word, ‘classic’.
Wyvern
The largest dragon of all. They have powerful jaws and even more powerful legs, though they only have two. Horns are uncommon; large horns are extremely uncommon. Found in the mountains. Most common colors are shades of brown or shades or green. They are not the most talented flying wise, but they can hold their own in a fight. Rideable.
Eastern
Most common and second biggest. They are the most versatile, able to fight with most of their body. Their tails are barbed, their spine is spiked, they are horns, sharp teeth, and large claws. Their only weakness if their wings. While large and magnificent, they are easily injured and the most open. Mostly red, green, black, or gold, but with dragons, who knows. Rideable.
Amphipthere
As long as the eastern but less height due to the lack of legs. It is very feathery with a frill around its head, wings made of feathers and a feathery tail. It’s pupils are narrowed, much like a snake. Not having the common features of a dragon, it mainly uses its magic and constriction to kill its prey. This type seems to exclusively be colored green. It’s feathers are golden tipped and often seem to shimmer. Rideable when flying.
Asian Lung (Lung for short)
As long as the Eastern but still shorter. This one has legs, four, but they are short. Imperial Lungs have five toes and others have four or three. It is extremely rare to find and bond with an Imperial. They are first, rare, and second, even more proper than the other variants. All Lungs seem to like etiquette and order as you must talk respectfully to them. They have small but stag-like horns and a feathery tail. Very feathery along the face as well, and the Imperial ones have feathers on their legs. They also have these long whiskers on their face. It is supposedly to feel the current and the water around them. They also have very large scales and puppy dog eyes. They can somehow fly, but they normally don’t and instead hang out in the water. They don't have any abilities to deal with fire and instead normally deal with water. Rideable when flying.
Knucker
Normally the smallest and much thinner than the others. It has wings, but they are simply too small to fly. Instead of scales, these guys have a leathery skin that is normally tones of the earth and uncommonly a greenish blue. They don’t breath fire, they instead have dangerous venom, kill in minutes, and are very good at constriction. They love damp, woody areas. They also love shiny things and are tricky beasts so they normally get what they want. Not rideable.
Lindworm
They are long and thin, but normally shorter than most dragons. Though they lack two back feet, this dragon is very swift and can normally beat any other dragon in a leg race. However, they lacks wings and cannot fly. The only option for fighting is constriction or claws. It comes in many shades and colors, though bright ones are uncommon. It sticks with groups in grasslands. Eats silk, so no nice shirts! Not rideable.
Hybrids
I would like if you asked me about a hybrid before you post. Please be aware that you must take the good and the bad. If you have a Lindworm/Eastern cross, be aware that it will not be as fast as Pure Lindworms and not as strong as Easterns.
---- Bonds ----You groan. The dragon keeper went other this topic five times yesterday. Her words still echo in your mind. You quickly snap the book shut and move on.
A bond between a dragon and a humanoid doesn’t magically appear. It slowly forms as the trust between the two grow. You might wonder how you should choose the correct dragon. The answer is simple. You don't. A dragon keeper will give you food and send you off to wander through the dragon pastures. You must wait for a dragon to approach you, but you are allowed to walk around. Sometimes no dragons take a liking to you. It could be because there are none in the pasture that want you or you two just missed each other.
As your bond grows, you may be able to share thoughts and feelings with either other. Usually it is the latter first then the thoughts. Some are able to see though each others eyes. You two can also support each other by sharing energy or magic. The stronger the bond is, the more you can share.
---- Map ----You spot a large map on a table. It was brown around the edges and smelled stale. Judging by the various notes tacked onto the map and the coloring, it was old. You read the small note, hoping for something interesting.
The Guild / an old fort for the guild
The guild is protected by four stone walls and a large gate. The gate is troublesome to close so it doesn't normally shut at night. When entering through the gate, a person will end up in a courtyard. People are training by sparing or using magic to the left, and the rest of the space is dotted with people are hanging out. The building next to the people sparing is the mess hall and the meeting room. Smoke slowly comes out of the window. There don't seem to be any meal times as people can be seen eating whenever. To the right is a large building that is where people sleep. It is made up of a mix of stone and wood. Everyone gets one small room that comes with a bed and side table. In front of you is a stone tower. It is not the skinny bean pole towers but the one of the larger ones. You spot a board with the words News outside the tower but don't stop. You open the doors to find a library. There was plenty of empty sheaves but a man was filling them. You look up to see three levels above you. The second one seems to have small tables or chairs. The top one is not visible, but you can see a ladder. You remember the birds circling the tower. The top floor must be the message room.
Asteria / As-ter-ea / Elf Lands
The Elf kingdom has long since split up. One half lies in the large forest to the South and the other lies in the north, past the mountains.
The southern forest is mystical. The trees are larger than normal trees, which makes sense considering the elves normally nurture the saplings so they can grow this way. Due to the elves' small population, they only have one area they gather. They called it Maladh, meaning haven. It is a small collection of large oak trees. Their homes are really inside the trees. Much like buildings with multiple floors, the trees work similarly. The trees have been hollowed out so that there are floors. One floor is for one family. There are round openings to the levels. Stairs spiral around the tree so everyone can reach the floors.
The second half is in a semi-arid desert. The soil is not pure sand but mostly rocks, and coarse sand to fill in the cracks. Only low lying shrubs, small trees, and sparse flowers grow in the open. However, near the river, life returns. The soil becomes soft and brown again. Plants, like reeds and cattails, grow near the bank. Fish swim in the water. The elves have built homes out of mud and brick. Most of the homes are small homes, meant for two elves and maybe a child. They have a small front yard with a brick wall and wooden gate. Usually the family goat and maybe a couple chickens stay in the front yard.
Cities of note; The three towns, Wahid, Athnan, and Thlath, are very similar and have several families living together. Though they are not big enough to be called a city.
Morden / More-den / Human Lands
The human kingdom is nestled in between all the kingdoms Their towns and great cities are mostly gone, either burned down or now just chunks of stone littering the ground. They no longer have many cities or towns. After the Great War, groups split up and travel together. Each family has one round tent. The tents are easily moveable and moderately easy to replace. Leadership is passed down to the most capable. These people mainly deal with livestock.
Cities of note; Zavi is the only real human city left. Most of the homes are made out of a combination of wood, stone, and dirt. The only building not made out of dirt, is the town office. It is almost all stone with only a couple of wooden supports. Zavi contains mostly fishers, though a couple of craftsmen and farmers live here as well. It draws all kinds of people as the fish is profitable even in the winter.
Klaustier / K-la-ss-ter / Dwarven Lands
Dwarfs live nestled in the mountains. They mostly stay clumped together on one side of a mountain. They don’t live in the mountain completely. Their homes are built into mountain with windows and entrances outside. Each large mountain city is split into three levels: the bottom, the middle, and the top. At the bottom is the merchant's stores that double as their homes. They sit at the bottom so the carts carrying merchandise from mines or from trading don’t have to travel far up the mountain. The second layer is for the soldiers, farmers, or mine workers, so they are still close to the ground. The top layer is for the royalty and elders. Since the royalty is not at all cities at once, the elders will offer guidance and make decides for the city in their absence.
Cities of note; Valun is their largest city and where the royalty spend most of their time. It is where the dwarves mine the most metals. Though this is deeper into the mountains than most will go for trading.
---- History ----Your interested was peaked. What do these people think happened? History was always so muddled. You could never seem to find two people who said the same thing.
The Great War
About 400 years back, the humans wanted to expand. Their towns were starting to grow and flourish. They had started to build stone structures, but they still needed wood. They turned to the elves’ forests, which were much greater in size. Not knowing much about elves, except for the small, uncommon sightings, they didn’t think they were crossing on someone’s land. The elves, who had known about the humans, were rightfully angry, though acted rashly. They attacked the humans, killing one and scaring the rest. It is never clear if they meant to kill that one human, but that is what sparked the war. It started small but grew as the other humans and elves joined in. The fighting lasted for two years before disaster struck. Human magic, being wild and destructive by nature, set the forest on fire along with their own land. Some say it was a Lung, others claim rain, and some say it the elves’ magic, but something put out the fire. However, the damage was done. Over half the forest was gone and most of the human towns were burned to the ground. The elves, now without a home and tired of fighting, either retreated deeper into the forest or were chased to the North.
Coming of the Dragons
As far back as we know, the races had been living separately. They didn’t mingle together or even see much of each other before the great War. Dragons were actually unheard of. It was actually during the Great War that these dragons made their appearance. Historians from each race say something different about the coming of the dragons. Dwarves claim it was in celebration of their new, and current, queen taking the throne. They say the rock shook beneath their feet as Queen Kaya sat on the throne and then dragons first took to the sky. Humans claim it was the magic brought by the elves. They actually didn’t believe they were real until, right in front of his army, a general’s head was bitten off by a dragon. Elves claim their gods worked together to create the dragons so the elves would be safe from humans. Not that dragons care much for either race. If you ask a dragon where they came from, they would say an egg. But who knows which one is true?
Founding of the Guild
Dragon riders began to appear. No one is sure who exactly was the first. This wasn't the matter of contradicting views. The first dragon riders just didn't know the date they bonded with their dragons. Yes, maybe they should have know as this was an event that changed their lives, but it was after a war and no one was exactly bothering to keep a date at the moment. The word started to spread like wildfire. The war was still fresh in their minds and people were grabbing for this new power. Of course, this turned out to be quite painful for both the dragons and the would-be tamers. both parties suffered many deaths until the dragon riders finally decided to meet. It took weeks but they finally settled. They would throw off their bonds to their people and go train somewhere else. They saw it as the only way to insure total war would not come again. They took up an abandoned fort and started to clean it out. People flocked to them. Surprisingly, some dragons did as well. The guild quickly made it their goal to help the people recover from the war and help train young riders.

Dragons - Normally stay in the pens and pastures but can stay in their rider’s room if it is big enough.
Outsiders Humanoids - A non-guild member
Dragons - A non-guild member
---- Members ----Guild Leader Malen Yarkin / 340 years / Dwarf Malen is tall for a dwarf, about 4'2", but she is still burly and stout. She is not the lady you want to arm wrestle, unless you like loosing. Her hair is a dark, deep red and is normally put into a bun or ponytail. She has a very friendly face with round cheeks and a bright smile. Her face has freckles streaked across it and she has round, chocolate brown eyes. Her nose is a bit big but nothing out of the ordinary, especially for a dwarf. / Malen was chosen for her work ethic, not her people skills. Not that she has terrible people skills. She is just very bad at hiding her emotions and tends to get a little overdramatic. She is pretty vulgar and livid when worked up. She can also get...loud. She can be a bit strict and harsh. Though no one can say she looses her focus. When she wants to get something done, it gets done. She always sees things through until the very end and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She is also a rather accomplished fighter, though lacks any real dexterity. She is actually quite clumsy out of the field and will trip over anything. Malen was tending to her goats when Gerel, her future wyvern, tried to steal her goats. She picked up a large rock and literally chucked it at the dragon while screaming. Normally, the dragon would have just roasted the dwarf but Gerel found it amusing this little dwarf would though something so useless as a rock at her, a large dragon who could breath fire. For a couple months, Gerel protected Malen and her goats. That was until the suddenly rockslide. It had trapped Malen in her home and killed off her goats. Gerel actually felt Malen panic and had come to dig the dwarf out. After that, Malen and Gerel decided to seek help from the guild. zero
Council Drustan Fharan / 36 / Human Drustan stands at an impressive yet terrifyingly tall 6'9". He is lean and muscular with soft stubble on his chin and jawline. His light brown hair, streaked with silver, is always tied up into a bun on his head, usually messy. His eyes are a gentle green colour, like budding leaves in spring; his skin is a dusty rose, light and with a sprinkling of freckles over his shoulders, neck and face, and upper arms and thighs. He has a black three-eyed-Raven tattooed on the whole of his back, three black bar-tattoos tacked with thorns wrapped around his left bicep, and he has a long scar running from his hairline down the right side of his face, passing through his eye, stretching down to cut through his lower lip and then ending at his chin. He is often seen wearing either robes, or leather armour; there is no in-between./ Drustan is a kind man, very studious and quite calm. When he smiles he lights up the room, and he enjoys the company of those younger than himself, always wanting to learn what they can teach him of their generation. He usually has his head buried either in a book or his dragons wings. He is soft-spoken and witty, and takes pride in his ability to draw only the best out of the new riders./ Lilith// Drustan has been a rider since the age of 15, when he joined the guild. He met Lilith and the two took a cautious liking to each other, Drustan hesitantly and shyly vying for her affections, she curious and flattered by his humble behaviour and personality. Soon enough they were getting along like a house on fire- or rather, one completely organised and filled with its own personal library. Now they rarely leave each other's side. Drustan was raised on a farm but, upon seeing his intellectual promise, they sent him away to a city to learn and educate himself. This all happened before joining the guild, where he was furtherly educated./ // Bloodrose //
Tannyll Vadan / 248 / Elf Standing at 6 foot tall, he is like every other elf; drop dead gorgeous. He has long silver hair that goes down to his waist, and almond shaped eyes, the colour of which are a deep amber. He looks thin, but is actually rather muscled under the robes he usually wears. He is often cold towards those that he doesn't like or trust, and so has very few friends that he will actively speak to. Having said that, it is rare that he goes out to make friends in the first place, resulting in him being a very solitary person. Fyacin / Not much happened to Tannyll during his...'younger years'. He owned a farm, and worked it, until he found an egg...literally in his back yard. He kept it, and placed it above his fire. It took nearly a week for it to hatch, and when it did, he headed immediately to the guild to be trained. They spent the next 52 years training, and gaining ranks./ Nighteyes/
Crafters
Healers
Dragon keepers Zafer Kirmak / 176 years / Northern Elf Zafer is certainly a Northern Elf but he has some human blood as well. It doesn't effect him much but he is shorter than the average elf and doesn't have as long or as pointed ears. Instead his ears just look like pointed human ears. His eyes are still cat-like and they are blue-grey. Instead of being built and long-legged, he has a rather short, but lean body from running after all the dragons. His occupation also leaves him with small cuts, and calluses on his feet and hands. His skin is a warm chestnut naturally but has gotten slightly darker due to how the bulk of his time is spend outside. His black hair falls about shoulder length and often it is in a ponytail. No one seems to notice any of these features first. The thing they notice first is his missing, left arm. He only has half of his upper arm left, but he seems to manage fine. / Zafer is a quiet person, one half due to shyness and the other half due to intimidation. He doesn't know much about the human or dwarf world. He is getting better at talking to others, but still remains quiet for the most part. He loves to learn about new things and can often get grabby or curious. He still likes adventures, if there is a promise of something new. He likes to learn new information or do things, but only at his own pace. He does get a little overwhelmed at times. If too much is put on him, Zafer is likely to get overwhelmed and shut down. Shutting down for him is running off to hang around some dragons. He doesn't try to talk or bond with them. Just sit in the sun. He likes not having to read people, which he isn't the best at. He lost his arm when he was playing near the river bank as a child, so about 100 years. Him and his friends were playing hide-and-seek and he didn't look in the reeds before entering. Turned out there was a very hungry alligator waiting. He doesn't remember much between that and waking up. For several years, he had moped as there wasn't much you could do one handed. he had tried and failed to do many simple tasks. That was until his mother had suggested the guild when they had come. Due to their motto, they would accept him and could find a use. He took it up and promised to send money back. He doesn't have much talent for other forms of magic, but is fairly good at illusion magic. Zafer tends to stay up until the early morning then sleep til noon.
Questors
Dragons Fyacin / 52 / Wyvern The scales on her back, arms and head are a deep purple colour, while her belly has scales of a lighter colour. She has long spines down her back. Her eyes reflect the colour of her scales and they are extremely piercing when she looks at you. Being a female dragon, she is extremely proud of herself and her appearance. She grooms meticulously every day, ensuring that her scales are shimmering Her strong jaw allows for a terrific bite, and she has incredible physical strength./ Tannyll Vadan/ Nighteyes/
Lilith / 25 / Imperial Lung Lilith is a handsome shade of light brown, her coat lightly freckled with darker brown, and her feathers are a pastel-pink, also lightly freckled with a darker pink. Her eyes are a deep green, surrounded by white fur, making them shimmer like emeralds. / Lilith is a gentle soul, and very independent. She loves Drustan very much, and the two are often joined by the hip. You won't often catch them arguing, nor will you find them as chatty as other dragon riders- the two are so comfortable and close that they can sit in the same room, one side to the other, and simply and happily do their own thing. She is a helpful dragon, but wary of males of any species, humanoid or dragon, that are not Drustan./ Drustan // Met Drustan when she was much younger. The two bonded after a good few months of getting to shyly know each other./ Lilith is flighty about males of any kind and can become aggressive out of fear. It is unknown why she dislikes them so much but she can open up to a male if she is given time, patience, and treated with a gentle hand by him. // Bloodrose //
Gerel / 24 years / Wyvern
Gerel is an averaged sized Wyvern with nothing out of the ordinary proportion wise. She has the massive wings with the movable, ivory talon at the end. Her scales are a slate grey and the spikes lining her back are a dark black. She does not have horns on her head but her scales seem to be longer and sharper around her head. Her eyes are a bright golden color. / Gerel seems to be the opposite of her dwarf. She is calm and almost never talks. She actually seems to be more wild than tame. She doesn't do things for others. She is very self-serving and the only one she really gets up and does stuff for is Malen. Even then, it takes lots of encouragement. The only thing that fires her up is a fight. She will not hold back.
// zero //
Outsiders Humanoids Silus Maelstorm / 170 years / Elf Silus is 6'2" and thinly but leanly built. His hair is long but he often keeps it tied up; it is a lovely blond sheen, framing a pointed chin and a smooth, feminine jaw. His eyes are catlike and a deep honey-orange. His nails are manicured to resemble that of a cat and his smooth, fluid and graceful movements resemble one./ Silus is a jumpy and nervous elf, usually untrusting of everybody that he meets. He will run from a fight if he knows he's weaker than his opponent, and will not attempt to fight them unless his life depends on fighting. // Cobak // Silus didn't have the greatest parents as he was growing up and was often left to his own devices, or was often hurled abuse at. He wished for acknowledgement but never got it, and so he increasingly became a troublemaker in order to get his parents attentions. Eventually he was committing crime after crime, usually theft, just so they would notice him, but their ignorance and anger grew worse and worse the older he got and the longer it carried on. Eventually one morning when he was 80, they threw him in a neck of woods and left him there to survive alone. Due to this Silus is extremely wild like an animal and volatile towards other elves, mistrusting them deeply. He'll hiss if threatened and uses his nails as weapons, or bone-daggers he learned to carve himself to hunt with. Silus is currently wanted for stealing a large amount of gold, and quite a few horses. He sold them all on and returned to his woodlands, where he found an egg; debating on whether or not to sell that, too, it ended up hatching, and now Silus is dealing with raising a frustratingly mischievous hatchling. Some kind of hybrid, he thinks. Silus is gay. His main weapon is a pair of bone-daggers that he made himself, the hilts wrapped with leather and intricate engravings of the forest animals he grew up with etched into the sides of the jagged blades. Silus suffers from childhood trauma of abuse, and so suffers from severe anxiety and panic attacks if an elf raises their voice at him or comes at him with violent intention. // Bloodrose //
Raven Muriel / 159 / Elf Raven is tall, standing at 6'1", and is lean-muscled. Strong thighs and a tight stomach with big hips and a flat chest. They are handsomely beautiful, almost deadly-so; like the thorns on a rose. Dark skin with red-hued eyes, and black hair; shaved on one side and long and curled, swept over the other side. Long, thick eyelashes, and long ears which are pierced at the lobes and have a bar at the tip. Usually wears a leather breastplate, with a high collar rimmed with fur, the arm-holes also rimmed with fur, and with a leather detachable-hood; also rimmed with fur. Black leather trousers which are skin tight and practical with high boots. She has long fangs in her top teeth./ Raven has a dark sense of humour and a strange obsession with gaining power over those weaker than themselves. They have no qualms with killing and does so with a cold indifference. They are a terrifying sight to behold due to their alluring grace but deadliness in their eyes. Raven is well aware of their unstable mindset, but has no idea of what to do to change- that is, if they even want to. 'A little wicked,' they call themselves./ Shard/ Raven has a very violent past, beaten ferociously by a mentally troubled father and emotionally abused by a drunkard mother. She woke up one day to screaming and witnessed her father killing her mother, stabbing her multiple times in the chest; he then came after Raven, whom somehow managed to wrestle the dagger from him and kill him. They have deep, deep trust issues. Raven is Genderfluid and so often goes by they/them to remove confusion of which gender she is feeling on any day. She is a lesbian and avoids men as best she can. She often has violent mood swings which can quickly get out of control. // Bloodrose //
Dragons Cobak / 6 months / Wyvern-Eastern hybrid Cobak is a handsome shade of obsidian black, his scales shiny and smooth. His wings are a larger size due to being half wyvern, and his claws appear to be like razors in their sharpness. His front arms are shorter than an eastern but at least he has them. Credit ---- Most of the content was made up by me. Bloodrose did help with the content as well. Various websites helped me hear about different cultures and then mold the cultures of the people. Also helped me with the dragons. These dragons were not made up by me. I made the map on a map maker so they did the art.

Silus Maelstorm/170/Elf Silus is 6'2" and thinly but leanly built. Other: Silus is gay. // Bloodrose // not yet. Cobak/6 months/Wyvern-Eastern hybrid Cobak is a handsome shade of obsidian black, his scales shiny and smooth. His wings are a larger size due to being half wyvern, and his claws appear to be like razors in their sharpness. His front arms are shorter than an eastern but at least he has them. He does sport horns, which are straight back but start to curve slightly at the tips. His eyes are a bright angelic blue./ He is developing slowly into a prideful and graceful dragon, intelligent; and calm compared to his rider. He is mischievous and a little argumentative, depending on who he is with. He takes great care of his appearance./ Silus/Cobak's egg was discovered by Silus and he hatched soon after. The two argue almost constantly, but it is clear to see that they do care for one another. Other: N/A //Bloodrose// Not yet. I'll put these two here for now, I've got two more coming ))

Drustan Fharan/36/Human Drustan stands at an impressive yet terrifyingly tall 6'9". This all happened before joining the guild, where he was furtherly educated./ Other: N/A // Bloodrose // Yes, a council member.
Lilith/25/Imperial*? Lung Lilith is a handsome shade of light brown, her coat lightly freckled with darker brown, and her feathers are a pastel-pink, also lightly freckled with a darker pink. Her eyes are a deep green, surrounded by white fur, making them shimmer like emeralds./ Lilith is a gentle soul, and very independent. The two bonded after a good few months of getting to shyly know each other./ Other: Lilith is flighty about males of any kind and can become aggressive out of fear. It is unknown why she dislikes them so much but she can open up to a male if she is given time, patience, and treated with a gentle hand by him. //Bloodrose// Yes.
Raven Muriel/159/Elf Raven is tall, standing at 6'1", and is lean-muscled. Other: Raven is Genderfluid and so often goes by they/them to remove confusion of which gender she is feeling on any day. She is a lesbian and avoids men as best she can. She often has violent mood swings which can quickly get out of control. //Bloodrose// No. Rogue rider.
Shard/20/Eastern Dragon Shard is massive with a giant wingspan; he has long spines stretching down his back and tail, and sharp horns and fangs. His scales are a shimmering diamond-white, and when they reflect the sunlight, they shine in all-different colours. His eyes are a light shade of pink./ Shard is a quiet dragon with complete loyalty and love for his rider, often working as the calming, grounding point for Raven when she gets out of control. He is almost vital in calming her down. Shard is lethal during airborne fights. Raven/Shard was a wild dragon, extremely young when he met Raven, only one year of age- he was starving and struggling to find food, and Raven curiously began to feed him. Starting to rely on her for sustenance the two began to bond and Shard began to know her inside and out, and care for this troubled woman. Other: N/A //Bloodrose // No. rogue.

((Sure ^.^ I'll use Drustan since he's in the guild also I think when Night joins his character is going to find my male elf with the baby dragon and bring him to the guild, if that sounds alright?)) Drustan stretched the aches out of his limbs. He'd been sat at his desk in his office for a majority of the morning, but he wasn't done reading yet- he was currently studying up on Dragon Hybrids, his new fascination. He closed the book he'd just finished reading and calmly set it back on its shelf, humming softly as he searched for the next. He moved back to his desk and set the book down, smiling over at Lilith who was curled up in front of the fireplace. Although large enough to ride, Lilith was still small enough to fit in his large expansive room, and often just lay before the fireplace watching him work. He sat himself back down at his desk, revelling in the silence and peace this day had brought him. He figured, however, that it wouldn't last, and so he picked up his pen to continue his study and learn what he could before he was interrupted.

Sounds good. ^^ )
Malen was already up, woken by the frantic knocking of a younger dragon rider. Apparently, they woke up and their friend was gone. Normally, Malen would have brushed this off as a rider just taking a morning fight or even getting up early. However, the young rider claimed they had asked everyone and checked every place they could think of. This friend wasn't assigned to any quests and normally didn't wake up this early. In the light of other recent events, Malen took their concerns seriously and she wasn't about to sit back like with the others. After sending her guest away and after much pacing, she decided she needed to talk to someone. Thinking never got her many places. It never helped her come to conclusions. She was quicker and more focused with speaking. Out of all her council, she knew Drustan would be awake with his nose hidden in a book. The quiet man liked his peace but their was work to be done. Malen now held a fist over Drustan's door. She took a deep breath to relax herself. Her rash and loud nature wouldn't help anyone. Malen knocked on the door, perhaps a twinge too hard, before taking a couple steps back.

Drustan winced as the knock sounded out, releasing a soft sigh. and so it begins. he thought, closing his book and stretching again. 'Yes?' He pleasantly called. 'Please enter.' He began to put away his things to clean up his desk a little, not that it was messy in the first place. Lilith raised her head and yawned, tilting her head at the door as she began to leisurely groom herself.

Malen sighed when she heard a quiet 'please enter'. She stepped forward and slowly opened the door. "Hey," She said with a small wave. She shut the door behind her, not wanting the sound of their voices to slip into the hall. Then she coughed, remembering her manners, "Sorry for intruding." She quickly collected her thoughts. "But this is important." She paused, stealing herself, "Another rider has gone missing." She started to pick at her nails as she waited for Drustan to reply. Her eyes drifted to the imperial lung sitting by the fire. She gave Lilith a small smile before returning her eyes to Drustan.

Drustan winced at her words and released a tiny sigh. 'Wonderful.' He murmured, voice sad. He got to his feet and began to pace, chewing the skin on his thumb. 'There has got to be something we can do... a way to organise everyone...' he mumbled. Lilith watched him intently as he paced, blinking slowly and tilting her head.

Malen felt her frustration spike, which was no fault of Drusten. She just felt a little hopeless and it came pouring out. Drusten happened to be the closest target. "But what would be organize them for? We don't know who is causing this!" She bit her lip, realizing that she had raised her voice. She took a steading sigh. "I don't think anyone could kidnap someone in the fort." She said rushing her forehead for a minute. "I mean, no one could really take both the rider and dragon, right?" While not impossible, it was nearly so. "I mean, people know you can't quit and this is too many people over a short amount of time for people to just be quitting."
