Tapping his chin, Drustan had an idea, but he knew nobody would like it. 'Then I propose this; we create a curfew for all those beneath the rank of Council.' He said, sitting in an armchair and offering her a seat. 'At a certain time of night; the council members can then move around and ensure that everyone is in their rooms, and we will lock the doors.' He said. 'It is unfair, perhaps, and people will not like it, but it will allow us to more closely monitor the missing and see whom is acting suspiciously.'

Malen nodded and took a seat. That was the best idea with the information they had. It would be troublesome since the guild had never put many constraints on its members. Meal times weren't even enforced. It would also give away that something was wrong, but people would figure that out soon enough as more people go missing. "That is the best plan." She said while she combed through the plan and made a mental checklist to what they would have to do. She smiled as she remembered the broken gate. "We should actually fix the gate out there now." She said, looking up at the man.

He then tidied around, putting away his books, before taking hold of a cloak and wrapping it around his shoulders, smiling over at Malen.

((Tannyll Vadan / 248 / Elf Standing at 6 foot tall, he is like every other elf; drop dead gorgeous. He has long silver hair that goes down to his waist, and almond shaped eyes, the colour of which are a deep amber. He looks thin, but is actually rather muscled under the robes he usually wears. He is often cold towards those that he doesn't like or trust, and so has very few friends that he will actively speak to. Having said that, it is rare that he goes out to make friends in the first place, resulting in him being a very solitary person. Fyacin / Not much happened to Tannyll during his...'younger years'. He owned a farm, and worked it, until he found an egg...literally in his back yard. He kept it, and placed it above his fire. It took nearly a week for it to hatch, and when it did, he headed immediately to the guild to be trained. They spent the next 52 years training, and gaining ranks./ Nighteyes/ With the Guild? Yes

Malen stood up as Drustan prepared. She returned his smile and her eyes flashed with gratefulness at his acceptance of the task. She hadn't been fishing for this to happen, but it was a nice turn. It would give her more time to prepare and discuss with the others. "Yes. I'll task myself with alerting the other members of the council." She said as she walked to the door, "Obviously you have all the materials of the guild at your disposal, including all the people sitting around." She opened the door and looked back at the man. "Really, I wish you the best of luck with that rotten thing. I have a couple guesses to why the founds left that thing alone."

Drustan bowed to her politely and then straightened up. 'I'll inform you how things are getting along by the end of the day; and if you wish I can do a headcount of all people living here and write a list. Then, I can separate this list into bonded dragons and riders, and their respective groups; finally, this will enable us to keep tabs on whom is going missing and whom is in which room. This way, we can do a register at curfew and on a morning. Does this sound acceptable?'
---
Silus was currently having a bit of a dilemma. His stupid little dragon had decided to disappear for an hour, and return with what was evidently something not belonging to him. It was a sack, filled probably with food or items, and no doubt belonged to some poor traveller. Now, Silus was a thief, yes- but he didn't need this, as he had plenty of food within his hidden home in the forest. He leaved underneath a tree. The giant roots made it same as though it were just a normal tree, but within them was a tiny hole, just big enough for Silus to slide in through, and he had renovated the inside cavern to make his own respectable home. He was currently grappling with the hatchling to try and rip the sack out of its mouth. 'Cobak, release it!!' He hissed, and the dragon hissed back, scales bristling stubbornly as he began to shake his head back and forth in an attempt to make Silus let go.

Malen felt a little annoyed at herself that she wasn't thinking of these things. All she had thought of was getting out of the room and talking to the council members. She knew that was quite a task in itself, since she would have to convince all of them if this plan was to work. And she knew Drustan was on the council to help her come up with ideas and carry out tasks she couldn't. She forced herself to set her pride aside. The man was hardworking and would get it done. There was nothing wrong about having him think of and do important work. "If I manage to convince everyone before you are done, I shall come and help." she said with a nod like it was settled. The dwarf walked out the door. "Do you want me to shut it or...?" She trailed off.

Drustan smiled at her words and nodded in acceptance. 'Your help will be appreciated,' he said, before shaking his head at her question- 'I am leaving too and will be locking it behind me. I'll see you later.' He politely told her, before looking at Lilith. 'Come on, old girl. Let's get ourselves a gate fixed.'

Tannyll slowly crept towards the tree, and peered in through the roots. Your were right Fyacin...he is here he silently said to her, glancing back over his shoulder where she was, unsuccessfully, hiding. Of course I was. She huffily replied. He raised an eyebrow, before turning away. I can see your backside, by the way. he said, and he smirked as he received a grumble from her, before he slowly slipped through the roots and into the cavern.

Sorry. I'll be poofy tonight as I'm finishing my report. )
Malen nodded and headed out the door. She made a beeline for the other council member's room. The sun was high in the sky and if they were asleep, they had no excuse to be. She needed their approval sooner rather than later. Then they could discuss the final details in the afternoon than announce it soon after. She would plan for after dinner. It was easier to talk about a curfew with a full belly.
(Sorry for Malen running away there. We can rp Zafer and Drustan if you don't want a time skip. If you won't mind a small one, I'm talking about hours, we can have Malen come back from talking to the NPC council members. )

I'll have Drustan be at the gate )) Drustan yawned tiredly as he watched the people working on the gate. He was taking a break- he wasn't old, but his age did catch up with him sometimes- and relaxing against a tree. He studied the people with curiosity, wondering if he could spot anything unusual or irregular, but everything looked pretty normal. He released a soft sigh and smiled as Lilith helped them lift a large log.

Both elf and dragon's heads shot up, eyes wide. Cobak dropped the sack and Silus flung it aside, leaping backwards into the shadows and landing in a catlike crouch, now only his bright glowing eyes visible. He bared his teeth and released a noise akin to a snarl, his pupils narrowed into slits. Cobak nervously watched from his position on the elf's shoulder, sniffing the air, wondering what their intruder wanted.

"What's your name, boy?" Silus asked, moving towards the sack and crouching down to pick it up, before he peered inside of it. "And your dragon."

Silus released a low growling sound like a mountain lion; terrifyingly accurate and most definitely a warning noise. He backed further into his cave, his eyes now the only thing visible in the murky darkness, along with the Dragon hatchlings. They glowed like translucent wisps. Stupid little dragon. Led him straight into my home and now we are caught. he thought to himself, extremely angry at the hatchling and terrified currently for his life.

After ensuring that everything, or mostly everything, was still in his sack, he slung it across his shoulder before watching them. "If I were going to hurt you, I'd have done it ages ago." He said. "Come out and let me see you."

Silus simply crouched down tighter and tensed up his legs, flexing his fingers to rake his nails in the mud. It had been so, so long since he'd last interacted with an actual person; 100? 110 years? He bared his teeth again, fangs flashing in the dark.

He bared his teeth again, fangs flashing in the dark. Tannyll stared, then shook his head and turned towards the entrance. "Now, normally, I'd be taking you in to the guild. You have a dragon after all. But you obviously have no want to be around people" he shrugged, before beginning to climb out.

Silus waited patiently until he had gone, then relaxed and looked at the hatchling. 'What have I told you about stealing things I don't tell you to steal?' He hissed, the hatchling sticking its tongue out and then huffily walking off into a corner to sulk. Silus, grumbling, sat down at his table to eat, and when finished he angrily began to pack his carryable things- he'd been found, and would have to move again. He was sick of moving- he'd really liked this hollow, too.

He studied the people with curiosity, wondering if he could spot anything unusual or irregular, but everything looked pretty normal. He released a soft sigh and smiled as Lilith helped them lift a large log. Malen was grateful for the man's height when she spotted him standing near the gate. Even for a human, she understood he was tall. With Malen being, well, short, she couldn't see through crowds. But her lack of height and his less than lack of height was not bothering her or occupying her thoughts at the moment. She marched up the male and looked up at him. Her mouth was set in a frown. "Tannyll is out, isn't he?" She said, waving a hand towards the sky. Her tone and eyes revealed her annoyance, not that she tried to hide it. They couldn't do anything until the elf came back. She knew they couldn't change this and no one would have known this would happen, but still, this was an inconvenience and a pretty large one. "Did he say how long he would be out?" She asked, still disgruntled but now settling down in Drustan's presence.

Drustan shook his head. 'I'm not sure. Ran off saying something about a thief causing trouble?' He pondered, tapping his bottom lip, deep in thought and his brow furrowed to think. 'He shouldn't be too long- he never is.' He smiled down at her reassuringly. 'Is everything alright? What did everyone else say?' He inquired, sitting down and leaning against a tree, wincing as some of his joints popped.

Malen frowned, now remembering the details. Apparently, this thief was very good and quite dangerous. If a questor had gone after the thief, the leader would have been worried. Still, with a difficult thief, it may take longer. "Yeah. He doesn't leave for long." She repeated, more for herself than anyone. Her worries settled for now. Her eyes drifted around the fort. "They agreed, though with a couple grumbles about late night patrolling." She lightly said, looked back at Drustan with a small smile appearing on her lips.
