Cain looked nearly as bad as when they were in the woods. Save for the mud. She was going to make Jora pay, and it was going to be her that did so, not Aila, not Cain, but Arabella was going to. For one thing, she didn't think they knew what they were doing. Arabella was standing sideways to them in about the center of the room. She had been pacing and brought herself to a halt. "I'll do it." She said above their voices. Her hand was on her chin thoughtfully and her eyebrows were knit together as Arabella tried to come up with ideas of how to actually do the job. Well, that part hey can all figure out, but they needed to know that she was the one executing the mission. Arabella would rather die than have the two of them in harms way. The royals looked up at her, and neither of them complained; Cain could see the anger and bloodthirsty in her eyes and wasn't about to deny her what she wanted. Aila needed someone who could stay below the radar, and Arabella fitted that description- not to mention the woman probably knew what she was doing better than the twins. 'What do you think we should kill him with?' Aila worriedly asked her, chewing her bottom lip. Cain looked to her for her opinion, smiling slightly with encouragement, trying for warmth even with his exhaustion.

Arabella laughed darkly, arms crossed over her chest and eyes narrowed in anger and murderous thoughts. Jora will die, and she was going to do it any way possible. "I know of many ways to kill a man. But never have I wanted to use those methods more than now, and to the man that has abused Cain." She pivoted on her heel to look at them, her eyes not narrow but still cold and full of hate towards the man the three of them wanted dead. "So take your pick. I just need the instruments to get it done." She paused for a moment. "I was even thinking about facing him head on. In a duel. Even if I die, at least I won't have to face punishment once I'm found out. Not only that, but if there is one weapon I am skilled with above all others, it would be a sword. It seems rash. I know. But really think about it for a moment."

'I'd rather keep it quiet.' Cain replied, looking at his feet. 'And if you fight for me I'll look weak.' 'Not unless it's a formal challenge issued and you choose a champion.' Aila calmly said, looking at him. 'Even if Jora isn't the one to fight, if Arabella wins, you get the throne- and then we can have him executed for his misdeeds.' 'I'd rather kill him in cold blood.' Cain cruelly said. 'He doesn't deserve an honourable death. He killed our father and our mother.' Aila glared at the floor, nodding.

Arabella shook her head. "He won't be dying honorably if he was killed by a servant. The same woman he sent down to he dungeons nonetheless. I won't be playing by the rules. I fight like how people on the street do, there will be no honor." She said in a determined voice, "Although I should ask, is he any good with sword duels?" She questioned with a raised eyebrow. If he was quite skilled in that fighting style, she would definitely have to train it would be best to do it with Cain. He knows Jora probably better than anyone else, and she highly doubted anyone else in the castle will let the ex prisoner have a sword anywhere near her.

((Here Gum, had a busy few days and a confusing revelation last night. Still getting over it)) 'Yes.' Cain replied. 'He's very good. I've never beaten him.' 'I would very much prefer to keep this an assassination attempt.' Aila insisted, sounding stressed. 'We can't have an open murder, Cain.' Cain chewed his bottom lip. 'But how would we orchestrate it?' Aila turned her head away. 'A simple dagger in the back. The royal guard would not give us away- they're our guard for a reason.'

{Oh I didn't know, my apologies} "A dagger in the back? That seems pretty open to me. But if you would prefer it, I can give it a go. But I'm not sure if a dagger in the back would kill him. Usually it would end someone's life, but not instantly. He might get help before it's too late. A dagger in the head however, that's the end of him." Arabella pointed out. The plan may work, if she studied Jora, watched where he went and such. She would have to be doing her research on him for a little while before actually pulling anything off. The guards concerned her though. They might assume she influenced the royals, and then to the gallows with her. But she shouldn't worry about that, as long as Cain and his family, save for Jora, we're safe then that's all that matters.

Aila said, but Cain's eyes were downcast. 'We can get him with me as bait.' He mumbled. 'Cain, no.' Aila fiercely said, getting to her feet and turning to stare at him. 'You are NOT putting yourself in a situation like that.' 'It's what he wants. He'll be vulnerable- Arabella can come up behind him and stab him... here.' He lifted his hand- touched the base of his skull where the spinal cord ended. It would be an immediate death. He looked up at them, looking tired and sad. 'It will work.' 'Cain.' 'It will work.' He insisted.

Arabella was going to protest as well, but...it might be their only shot. She hated to put Cain in that situation, if there was another way to do it, she would. But there wasn't. Not one that seemed as surefire as this one anyway. "I don't like it either. I really don't like it. But we have to do, what we have to do. And if that means Cain has to..." Her voice trailed off and she shook her head, "then I guess that's what it means." Arabella's gaze focused on Cain, he looked so beaten. "I admire your bravery Cain."

'I'm not brave,' Cain said, with a dark, almost grim laugh- 'i'm desperate.' He stood and moved over to a chest in the room. He opened it, pulling out a paper bag containing what appeared to be sugared chocolate pieces. He then came back and sat down again, nibbling at it, rebelling at a rate he hadn't had for a while. Damn, he'd missed chocolate. He held the bag out to Aila, who shook her head. 'Keep it.' He nodded and continued to nibble at the pieces. He felt mentally exhausted, so he knew he'd have to get some rest if they were going to do this. 'When should we do it?'

Arabella watched Cain as he went over to a chest in the room and pulled out chocolate. She had only ever had a small piece before, it was from a higher up officer who got it as a gift from the royals. Chocolate was for noblemen, and she was lucky to have had any. "Desperation has a tendency to make brave people as well as cowards. You're not a coward Cain." She said firmly but then her mood changed more to a determined one, "I would say as soon as possible. But if you would prefer a later date that's fine. I'll have to probably watch Jora a bit anyway. Study the room were doing this in, and so on. But I can do it whenever you wish." Arabella wanted a weapon back at her side quite honestly, just something to practice with, to keep her mind busy.
