Bloodrose"B******?" Arabella finished Aila's sentence for her. She wasn't sure if she could speak about a noble in such a way, but then again, it wasn't her, it was Aila. She merely helped...process her thoughts. "I would give my input but I highly doubt it would be appreciated by anyone." She told Aila in the same indifferent tone. Arabella hated the way Jora touched Cain, she wanted to step between them and fight the noble that was ruling. She didn't want anyone touching Cain really, she worried about his safety around Jora as well. But say it was a woman who was doing that to Cain, she wouldn't be in this kingdom anymore to say the least. Not with Arabella around. "I say just prepare for the worst with Cain." Was she allowed to say his first name and not 'the crowned prince'? She would figure it out eventually though, so tried not to stress about it. "I can help. Not only am I entitled to, but he is my friend. I have experience in these sort of things." Aila's lips twitched up into a grin as Arabella finished her sentence for her, but her expression became grim again as she returned to the conversation and the serious problem at hand. 'I'm already prepared for the worst.' Aila sighed, slowly sinking into her chair and quietly looking into her lap. Her heart hurt just thinking of what that disgusting man could be doing to her twin; a shudder rushed up her spine, as though warning her to be more careful around him. 'We have to get Cain away from him, somehow.' She said, frowning. 'Because he's still Crown Prince, he has to spend more time than is necessary with Jora. If we can find a way to cut down on the amount of time they spend together, perhaps we can take away some of Jora's influence, and give Cain some peace of mind.' She looked up at Arabella, as if waiting for her to give some input.

Arabella knew that they had to get Cain away from Jora. It was quite obvious. Because if Jora was close, he could pick up on small habits and what he does that would most likely lead him to scheming a plan to end the prince. She didn't say that out loud, it probably wasn't anything the princess hadn't thought of before. Her mind started wandering to different questions though, "What's Jora and Cain's past been like? Or, do you even know?" Arabella asked suddenly. It seemed off topic to their plans, but not only was Arabella curious, but perhaps they can get to the head honcho another way: psychologically. Arabella normally never approved of those things, and quite frankly never wanted to really get into someone's mind, but she had done it more that she has wanted to. And that would make her a hypocrite to say it's wrong or to stop all together. It wouldn't hurt to keep going for the sake of others.

Aila hesitated and grew severely uncomfortable, before she looked into her lap. 'Jora... Jora was banished from our kingdom for a reason, Arabella.' She sighed deeply and rubbed the back of her neck. 'He s*xually abused him when Cain was only 14. Our father found out because Cain wisely came to him for help- we thought we'd never see Jora again. That's why we're so scared. That's why Jora is acting the way he is around him.' She tiredly looked up at Arabella. 'I need to save my baby brother.'

Arabella had never expected Cain had been through those horrible things. The shock and some distress and sadness was evident on her facial features. Hearing that made her want to be by Cain's side all the more, to embrace him and tell the prince that she wasn't going to let anything like that happen again. But she could not. Even if she was in the same castle as Cain, he felt so far away. In a way, he was like a star, constant, familiar, bright, and farther away then she could comprehend. Arabella's mood had quickly changed from sorrowful, to frustrated. It showed in the way she clenched her jaw, her gaze became cold and calculating in a dangerous way. "F*** that son of a b****..." she trailed off, having an unimaginably difficult time controlling her anger. "I know, I should probably work on my language..."

Aila blinked and looked up at the swearing, before her lips twitched into a vicious smile. 'If I was allowed, I'd be saying far worse.' She assured her, starting to like the girl before her. She then paused, before the exact same coldness leaked into her own dark eyes, and she lifted her gaze to meet Arabella's. 'If he can kill my parents,' she said slowly, 'we can kill him. It'll stop him from coming back- it'll keep Cain safe.' She got to her feet. 'We need to get to Cain- come with me, we have a secret place in the castle we played in as kids.'

Arabella had to admit, the princess wasn't nearly as bad as she thought she would be. It made her job a lot easier at least. Plus, if she was stuck with this job for the rest of her life, at least she didn't have to keep her cursing in check. She never has before, and by no means was going to start now. She obediently followed the princess when she was told to go. The princess would have to lead the way though, after all, she was new to this castle, and had no idea what rooms or hiding places it had.

Aila led them through the corridors swiftly, a little panicky as she went. After ten minutes they'd arrived at Cain's room, and Aila knocked, knowing it would be closed. 'Cain. Den. Ten minutes.' She then hurried away, knowing they couldn't be seen disappearing together. She ensured arabelle was keeping up as she made her way into the library- she headed deep inside, then found a bookshelf and tugged on a book. A locking mechanism sounded, and it cracked open. She smiled at Bella before heading inside and closing it behind them. Inside was something akin to a living room, with an empty fireplace and large sofa's, along with swinging hammocks, an actual swing in the centre of the room, and a small table. The walls were decorated with children's drawings- on one side, most of them were realistic and beautifully crafted- on the other, more playful representations of people and animals- however, they dipped into darker drawings of jora with monster teeth and claws, and horns. Aila sat on a sofa to wait and smiled at Bella. 'He won't be long now. He never keeps me waiting.'

Arabella, since she knew more or less what was going on, was able to pick up on the code word 'den'. She figured that was their normal meeting place for when hey were children anyway. As she was led there, she was quite surprised at how hidden away their den was to the rest of the castle, and the locking mechanism fascinated Arabella. The most complicated locks she has seen her with an old fashioned key. The inside of their meeting place however, was quite the opposite of complex. It was child friendly. When Arabella was younger, she would have loved something like this. The paintings on the walls had caught her eye though, and she studied all of them carefully, putting her hand over some and then glaring at the drawing of Jora. For a man to put a child in such a situation...she couldn't say what that made her want to do. Arabella was at a loss for words. She stood up slowly from her crouched position in front of some of the painting, but kept her back to the princess as she continued to look at the art. "I don't mind waiting." But as soon as the words left her lips, she head the locking mechanism once again. Her head turned to see who it was, and instinctively, she got into a more defensive position. That is, until she saw Cain. Her expression was delighted for a moment, but then it went back to thoughtful. But not he kind where you could tell what she was thinking.

He ducked inside and closed the door behind him- he looked utterly exhausted, black bags under his eyes. As he removed his jacket, a purple hand-print bruise was revealed about his throat and upper arm. Aila bristled. 'What did he do?' 'Nothing- I'm fine. Pinned me against a wall so I bit through his lip and kicked him in the shins.' Cain replied quietly, sinking into one of the sofas and closing his eyes, the exhaustion in his body palpable. Aila silently moved over to sit next to him and lean gently against his side. 'I'm going to kill him.' She said. Her voice was extremely calm. This in itself made Cain understand she was being serious, and he leant his head back against the wall. 'How?' He asked. 'We'll have to go about it carefully- we can't leave any evidence that indicates it was us.' She murmured. 'Poison?' 'Too obvious. It's a woman's weapon.' Cain nodded slowly. 'Dagger? We could hire an assassin?' 'They might talk. We need to do it ourselves.'

Cain looked nearly as bad as when they were in the woods. Save for the mud. She was going to make Jora pay, and it was going to be her that did so, not Aila, not Cain, but Arabella was going to. For one thing, she didn't think they knew what they were doing. Arabella was standing sideways to them in about the center of the room. She had been pacing and brought herself to a halt. "I'll do it." She said above their voices. Her hand was on her chin thoughtfully and her eyebrows were knit together as Arabella tried to come up with ideas of how to actually do the job. Well, that part hey can all figure out, but they needed to know that she was the one executing the mission. Arabella would rather die than have the two of them in harms way.
