so there's this pretty popular game called Dishonored. I played the first one as soon as it came out and have beaten it multiple times since. Dishonored 2 just recently came out and I have yet to play it because my laptop is crap, however I have watched an entire playthrough of it. The deity for the occult in the Dishonored world is called The Outsider. Here's a little information piece on him: The Outsider. I was thinking that they could have a deity kind of like him. the other idea is that they have Native American gods. we could either create them or they could live in a location that corresponds with a certain tribe and we can use their gods. go ahead and list them o: also maybe you could help me create the world for my novel lol |

here are some ideas: - Big Cypress. the cats follow either the local Native American religion or have their own, where the main god was a panther who established the clan.
- Great Basin. the cats follow either the local Native American religion or we can create a special pantheon of gods for them. the camp is located in the Lehman Caves.

alright so, i have this!!
sorry for my crappy handwriting notes haha, but this is a basic idea for the camp i guess? the only way to get into the caves is through a door and a hallway in real life, so i just said for this, theres a hole somewhere in the back for them to crawl out of. that whole area they're in is well hidden, because if people saw that many cats living in these caves they'd flip out. if anything is unclear i can fix it ;0

awesome! so let's start with the gods, because I do want them to be a big part of the plot.
it seems like in most Native American religions that the gods are spirits taking on the forms of animals, such as wolves, deer, buffalo, etc. let's get a list of wildlife in the Great Basin area and go from there

alright, here's a few ideas
jackrabbit - god of swift running
hawk/eagle/owl - goddess of wisdom and foresight
elk - god of family/kin
badgers - goddess of protection
I don't know what we could do with the stoat or mountain sheep

the stoat could be the god of, like, battle prowess or something
yeah, I think that's a good idea. one of my old clans, BasinClan, had a system like that except there were four categories: hunters, trackers, scouts, and fighters
multiple medicine cats is definitely good but I think there should be one head medicine cat, and maybe they can have a stronger connection to StarClan and the gods as opposed to the others

alright so i didnt base it off of a real map but
i was thinking there could be a trail hidden by trees nd stuff down to the lake and whatever
and the stars are places where landmarks or something could go, to make it more interesting idk. when we make our page it'll probably be easier to put real pictures along with maps on it

sorry for the poof, I was having dinner, making dessert, and doing laundry x-x
yeah, that's a good idea. maybe each medicine cat is trained in a specific form of medicine (birthing, fighting wounds, etc) and then the head medicine cat knows all
I did that in BasinClan but instead of calling them deputies I called them head-insert rank name here and then there was a main deputy of the clan
