Larkkit bounced, grinning at her father as she chased after his tail. "I'm gonna catch you and mama so many rabbits! You'll never go hungry."
Sagefoot nodded, faking a gasp as she looked to Stonepath "Oh my he is covered in dirt isn't he?" She reached over brushing the earth from her mate's pelt easily with her tail. "There all gone! He must have been working hard in the tunnels for us."

“Really now?” Stonepath humored as he looked down at Larkkit. His eyes widened a bit as he felt Sagefoot’s tail clear the dirt from his pelt. He offered a nod of gratitude, looking at Sagefoot warmly, before he spoke again. “I have a big appetite sometimes. You think you can feed me?”
Juniperkit giggled loudly. “He looked like he had brown fur instead of grey fur. It’s all better now! Mama, why aren’t you in the tunnels too?” She inquired.

Larkkit nodded, giving her father a look of pure determination "Yeah! Juniperkit and I are going to feed the whooooole clan!" she mewed, falling back with a giggle before moving to swat at her father's tail again. "We're gonna get all the rabbits out of their holes and catch every one!"
Sagefoot shook her head in amusement at her mate's surprise before turning her attention back to Juniperkit. "Well I stay here with you. I'll go back to the tunnels too when you become apprentices but as much as I miss being in the tunnels with your father I'd much rather be with you two." she mewed, leaning forward to lick the top of Juniperkit's head.

“Well, if you caught every single one, how would we get more rabbits the next season?” Stonepath inquired, looking down at Larkkit with a small smirk. It was humorous, how dedicated and determined his daughter seemed to be.
“Why don’t you and papa both come down into the tunnels with me and Larkkit?” Juniperkit decided, giving a small puff of complaint as Sagefoot licked her head.

hey Frozen ^.^ )
Larkkit frowned, her face scrunching up as she tried to think through the problem presented to her. She sighed defeated. "I guess you're right. Well we'll catch MOST of them then!"
Sagefoot shook her head, "You know you're not allowed down there until your an apprentice. Perhaps one day during your training we can all go down there. But I want to make sure the tunnels are very safe before then." Sagefoot's voice grew hoarse, her mind flashing back to the fact that she and her mate had both lost their mother's in the fire. She couldn't even imagine losing her daughters to the unstable tunnels.

“I know you will, little one.” Stonepath mused with a hint of humor and pride to his voice. He leaned down to press his muzzle to Larkkit’s ears in a show of affection. He glanced over at Sagefoot, speaking out to her. “Sagefoot. Your daughter here thinks she’ll be able to catch a grand amount of rabbits. Do you suppose she should see your hunter’s pounce?” He teased, only to recognize the look on her face and quiet his voice.
“The tunnels are super safe, right?” Juniperkit argued, looking at her mother with a hint of confusion.

Sagefoot snapped out of her moment, she shook her head reminding herself that she needed to be strong for her daughter. She forced a smile as she looked at Larkkit. "I'm sure you'll be a wonderful hunter Larkkit." she mewed quietly. "I'm sure we could work on your hunter's pounce before you become an apprentice." The queen turned back to Juniperkit, pulling her close. "The tunnels are very important to us as Windclan warriors, but the tunnels are not always safe. Many warriors have been lost in accidents in the tunnels. It is very important to learn how to test whether a tunnel is stable or not." she mewed, her voice soft but stern.
Larkkit looked from her father to her mother curiously, not really sure why her mother suddenly looked so sad. She frowned, always a cat to pick up other's energies.

“Many cats who do not respect the tunnels properly find themselves lost to them.” Stonepath nodded, honest with his daughters. He preferred the honesty that he and Sagefoot shared. He continued. “Many things can bring us pain and can take us before our time, take us to Starclan. Tunnels can and will collapse...but we cannot be afraid of such events. We must be trained and respectful.” He mewed.
Juniperkit stared with wide eyes, but she processed the words of her parents with a flick of her ears. She had to be serious if she wanted to be a tunneler then.

Swiftsun was trying to decided where he could help. He supposed her could hunt but he wanted to be useful. He looked around for some older warrior to ask.

Swiftsun was trying to decided where he could help. He supposed her could hunt but he wanted to be useful. He looked around for some older warrior to ask. “You lost or something?” Tinyflower noticed Swiftsun seeming to look around, the tiny and sharp white she-cat flicking her ear and giving him a sharp look.

I can give you something to do! You can start by helping me pull all of the burnt gorse away from camp. Sound good?” She decided.

I am a hardworking warrior, I’m not your “dear”. Just-...Just clear the gorse, got it?” She turned to her own patch of burnt gorse and pulled at it, trying to calm herself. Siltpath had always told her that she could get way too snappy if she didn’t control her anger. She waited for the hot feeling in her ears to go away.

Swiftsun was a bit of a flirt so he found it amusing the way she reacted. “Would you rather I call you my flower?” He teased her. He scrapped away a pile of gorse. He supposed they’d have to go put it in the territory but where?

I’ll beat you in anything you could think of!” She tilted her chin up challengingly, trying not to feel a flutter of heat in her belly. No cat had ever talked to her like this before!...Not that she would let them, of course! She looked away pointedly, puffing out. “Whatever, just-...Just take those out near the dirtplace tunnel, if it’s still there.”

"Oh, hi!" She mewed. "That was some fire." She turned back to the sun-set. "I always love watching the sun-set. I can't imagine having to dig tunnels all day. I prefer the open moor, where I can run free, with no restrictions..." She lay down. "Lie here, it's going to be a fantasting sun-set."

((Hello everyone! I'll just post some starters))
Swiftstar looked at the clamp in dismay. Everything was gone. Though he had believed the patrol's report, it was hard to believe until he could see the devestation with his own eyes.StarClan, he thought, looking up to the sky How could you do this to us?. He sighed and scanned the camp, his eyes stopping at the bodies of Swallowfeather and Rainfeather where they lay after being carried by Wolfstep and Fawnspots. He gently padded over to his fallen clanmates and lay down beside them, touching his nose to each of their pelts. "I'm sorry my friends, I'm sorry I couldn't save you."
Silverspirit padded over to what was left of the medicine cat's den and dropped the herbs she was holding, tucking them under a stone so they wouldn't blow away in the wind.
Fawnspots padded into camp, the uneasy feeling returning as she did so. It was so sad to see the camp destroyed.
Sunstep was over by the nursery, sorting through the remnants. It seemed there were some bits of moss that were tucked under the gorse that had burned away.

The tunnels won't take you and Mama to Starclan will they?"

Sandfall padded over to Silverspirit, his ears drooping. "Come mourn mother with me.. please. I know Sagefoot can't right now with her kits and I don't want to do it alone."

Silverspirit nodded, her ears pinned to her head. In her rush to get the herbs back where they belonged, she hadn't noticed their mother's body in camp. Now it was all she could see. "Of course Sandfall." She murmured, following after him.
Fireblaze sat a couple tail-lengths away from her mother, emotions swwirling under her pelt.

Sandfall looked relieved, walking over to Swallowfeather's body and pressing his nose into her fur. He nodded stiffly to Fireblaze, unsure of where he stood with his younger sister at the moment. The tom turned back to Silverspirit, his eyes misty. "I'm glad she was with Rainfeather." he mewed quietly. "At least she wasn't alone."

Accidents can happen, and Starclan will care for us no matter what happens. Bravery is what defines a Tunneler.” He explained.

Silverspirit settled down next to their mother, and touched her nose to her fur. She cast an uneasy glance at Fireblaze, what was with her? Ignoring it she replied to her brother. "And I'm glad Stormfury was there." she admitted. "She was heartbroken when he left."
