I'm probably gonna be alone, as my only friend lives about a half hour away and can't miss school haha,, I'm thinking maybe he's cold? The temperature is getting lower and lower as the days pass so maybe his bones hurt? He's not that old, only seven, but it still could be a possibility. I'm just worried he's gonna turn on me or something, it would break my heart. He growled at me when I picked him up earlier and hissed at me when I went to pet him :c ))

That would make sense,, I just went back in my room to check on him and he was being his normal self, which was a relief. I'm still gonna keep an eye on him though, just in case. I turned on my heater as well. Yeesh, I can only imagine how cranky I'm gonna be. I've been generally angry lately so,, haha,, good luck to my family.

Xzavier had been so lost in his own mind, that he hadn't noticed Alwyn wandering away until a few moments later.
He turned around to ask the other a question, only to be met with empty air. His surprised face turned into one of a scowl, the unsettled emotions twisting his features for a few moments. Now was not the time. Yes, he understood that the other was probably in shock and awe at the happenings around him, but it was dangerous for him to not stick close to Xzavier. And although he had no clue of the world Alwyn had come from, Xzavier knew one thing for certain: there was far more danger lurking around Narnia.
Running a hand through his messy ebony hair, he walked back the way he had came, cobalt eyes sharp and on the lookout for the stranger who had appeared in the world only a few hours ago. It was almost as if Alwyn was a petulant child and Xzavier had to scold him every few seconds. It reminded him of Lilia, but he shook his mind to clear it of the thoughts of his younger sister. Thinking about her always seemed to worsen his moods and he had no desire to go through that. Not now, not ever.
He finally spotted the other standing in front of one of the centaurs who volunteered to work as a blacksmith for their cause. Xzavier would be lying if he said that their assistance was not needed. Without them, he didn't know what they would have done. Weapons break much more quickly during war and they needed ever bit of help they could get.
"Having fun?" He questioned, seeming to appear out of nowhere as he stood beside Alwyn. He had been raised to make his footsteps light and purposeful, to determine his destination before his foot even left the ground.

nO IT'S SO OBVIOUS oh my god
spencer probably calls him that too ))
Alwyn had his finger brushing along the blade before Xzavier came along and scared him half to death. He let out a loud gasp and jumped, his hand shifting as this happened, knocking over the blade while being cut open. "Ow!" He exclaimed, stepping back from the sword and examining his now injured hand. There was a slice right down the middle that oozed a good amount of blood, some of which had gotten on the sword. "You couldn't just have called out to me?" He frowned at Xzavier when he turned to him, clearly upset that the other had technically sneaked up on him. Grumbling out a curse, the smaller man looked around for something to wrap his hand in, but was sorely disappointed when the only things were the sword and the old centaur, who he believed may have fallen asleep. He leaned down and grabbed the weapon with his free hand, nearly dropping it when the unexpected weight pulled his hand back down. Not wanting to look like a weakling, he pulled it up off the ground and basically plopped it back down onto the stand where it had been. It made a loud noise and Alwyn cringed, letting out a sheepish laugh when he looked back at Xzavier.
((I hate the word sneaked, it's terrible and needs to not exist))

{{ i bet hE DOES and i relate. i despise the word "moist." }}
Xzavier frowned at the other's sudden movement, nose wrinkling as the metallic scent of blood hit the air. All these years and he still had a sort of distaste for the crimson liquid. One would think that he had grown accustomed to it, being raised to fight without remorse did that.
But he hated it. Made him remind him of his family, something that he tried to keep under lock and key in his mind.
He immediately moved forward, pressing a firm hand around the wound. "Should've gotten that scarf." He mumbled, beginning to maneuver Alwyn away from the sword and towards one of the many medic tents located throughout the camp.
He decided that swords and Alwyn were not a good combination.
"We're going to make a detour to Silwyn so she can check on your wound and heal it up nicely so there's barely even a scar. Just please don't touch any of the weapons here." He spoke, as if scolding a younger child. "All weapons in Narnia are created to be used by a single being. If you touch one that isn't yours, you're surely going to get it." Xzavier looked down at the other, his face etched with seriousness and worry. He searched Alwyn's for any sign of pain, hoping that the other wouldn't lose too much blood before they reached a medic.

((The word moist doesn't necessarily bother me but the actual meaning grosses me out,, I hate the word panties too lmao))
As he was lead away, Alwyn simply just listened with a pout of sorts on his face. If there was one thing he hated, it was being scolded. Ever since he was a child, he had gotten himself into the worst kinds of trouble. Either he was in the wrong place at the wrong time or he had some kind of dumb idea that ended in misery for everyone- sometimes, it was even both. He was always caught and reprimanded by someone, and no matter what it was about, it always made his cheeks flare a bright red and tears well up in his eyes. Now, though, it was only the massive blush of shame. "Okay, mom." He rolled his eyes but it was easy to see that he was embarrassed by the situation and actually in quite a bit of pain. Though, if there was any setup for sarcasm, he always took it.
((Okay! I'm back from the dentist and I probably won't have to get my wisdom teeth out till winter breaK))

{{ ah, i did! thank you for worrying!! i just don't like how people pronounce the word. some drag on the "s" and it's gross to me }}
Xzavier refrained himself from rolling his eyes, not wanting to stoop to Alwyn's level. He was a Commander, a leader of the rebels. Partaking in such childish antics wouldn't reflect well on his repertoire. And yes, he knew he had been a child once. But his childhood wasn't made up of fun and games, nor did he wish to think back to the times of his younger years. Perhaps once the war was over, he could allow himself to be removed of the heavy burden the war was on his shoulders.
"Let's just get you healed up, alright?" He questioned the other, voice gentle as he glanced down at the figure beside him. His eyes noticed the light tinging of Alwyn's cheeks and he inwardly smirked to himself at the realization that the other was slightly embarrassed. That was alright, he supposed. Emotions were a part of human nature.
Guiding Alwyn to Silwyn's tent, he glanced around at the occurrences going on at each and every side of them. He was pleased to see that things were running smoothly, that everything was going accordingly to plan. It lowered his stress levels slightly and he sighed in relief.

((I worry because I care! Makes sense, also idk how much I'm gonna be on, my cat got worse and he's actually sick.))
Alwyn was a bit disappointed at Xzavier's lack of both irritation and humour, he was used to people either getting annoyed or laughing at his remarks. "You know, Xzavier, you'd be a lot more fun if you had a sense of humour." He, of course, was just teasing the commander and meant no harm by the comment. He was going to continue but closed his mouth when they reached the desired tent, instead just walking in without hesitation. He figured if you were going to encounter something, or rather someone, weird, it may as well be done without fear. It wouldn't be so bad, right? Especially if this 'Silwyn' lady was a healer.

{{ aw, you're so sweet!~ oh no!! i hope everything is going to be okay. do you know what's bothering him? }}
He held back a retort, following after Alwyn into Silwyn's tent. It was best not to respond, not until he felt more comfortable in the other's presence. If Alwyn was a member of his squadron, things would be different.
Silwyn was rummaging around her tent, fixing the small bottles of herbs she had lined up on the various amount of shelves located inside. At the sudden noise at the entrance, her head popped up, golden eyes flashing with interest. They lit up once they spotted Xzavier, and she gave him a gentle salute in respect.
"Captain." She said cheerfully, a grin on her face. Her rows of pointy teeth reflected against the sunlight that filtered through the tent's opening. "To whom do I owe the pleasure to in seeing you here?" Her voice was quiet, almost singsongy.
He simply gestured towards Alwyn beside him and her eyes glanced down at the wounded hand. "May I?" She questioned him, stepping forwards slightly with her arms outstretched.

((I'm not completely sure what's wrong, my mom says maybe a bladder infection. He can't keep anything down and refuses to move unless with the prompting of food, he hasn't been drinking water, and he can't control his bladder. He's clearly in pain,, idk,, I cried for two hours straight last night because of how worried I am //: We don't have the money to take him to the vet either. All I can really do is hope he starts drinking water and try to keep my other cat away from him. (She's a kitten and likes to mess with him and he needs his rest))
Alwyn's caution came back as soon as he saw those pointed teeth but instead of staring, like he did with Saphina, he turned his head away to clear his worries. She was a healer and also part of Xzavier's group, therefore, had to be harmless. When she held out her hands, he set his own in them, trying not to shudder when he saw how cleanly it'd been sliced open. He turned his hazel eyes back on Xzavier and made a face, though it was hard to tell whether it was a pout or grimace from the pain still making its way into his expression. "This is all your fault." He muttered to the captain before turning his head back to see what Silwyn was going to do with his hand.

{{ yikes, I'm sorry! Maybe try researching his symptoms? That might help ^^; Separating a sick cat from a healthy cat is a good idea! When they're sick, they get cranky and might lash out. Plus, since the other cat is younger, it'll definitely be curious. }}

((I tried looking it up but all I got was something worse than I think it is. My mom said that we can just call the vet and see if we really do need to take him in- if he needs treatment I'm gonna use my Christmas money to help pay for it. He's my best friend and definitely my favourite thing in the world. He doesn't even feel like a cat to me, if that makes sense. He feels like a person I can come home to every day and just chat with, even if I don't really get any answers back. It'd just really suck to lose him if this becomes too bad. The kitten, her name is Peachfuzz, is definitely a little too curious and tends to be a bit of a nuisance so that's why I initially thought to separate them.))

{{ if you do call the vet, try explaining all of the symptoms thoroughly. also, ask them if there's any home remedies you can use to save money. and yeah, it makes sense. my dog and cat are my closest friends. they're there when i'm sad, happy, or when i just need someone to hug. i understand how you feel. Separating them sounds like a good idea for now }}
"Yeah, alright. Blame me for your mistakes. Standing far too close to a weapon that's potentially dangerous isn't the greatest decision." He muttered, folding his arms against his chest as he shifted his weight. He focused his attention to the healer that stood before them, and tried his best to ignore Alwyn while he complained.
Watching Silwyn do her work was fascinating for him every time. Whether it be on the battlefield or in the camp, she always maintained some sort of peaceful aura.
Rubbing her warm hands around his, she began to hum. Her voice was soft, gentle, and often caused people to fall asleep. Her hands began to glow a slight golden color, and the heat the emitted off of them was warm, but not entirely uncomfortable. As the time passed by, Alwyn's wound began to close up, bit by bit.
"Almost done." She murmured, eyes closed in peaceful serenity.

((That's probably what we're going to do. Also, I just gave him a small bit of food that I mixed a bit of water into just to see how he does. He isn't drinking anything but he does still want to eat, so it was the best I could do.))
Alwyn watched as his wound began to close up, eyes wide with both interest and shock. He'd believed that Silwyn could do it, but seeing it carried out was a whole different story. "When can I learn how to do that?" He joked, trying to keep his injured hand still as he lifted his other to gesture at his legs. "With how often I trip over my own feet, it could save me tons of scars." Alwyn did tend to be a little clumsy, especially in bad weather and on uneven terrains. In fact, just that day he'd slipped and fallen on his backside because of an unseen patch of ice, leaving a golf-ball sized bruise on his upper thigh.

{{ oh, well eating is very good! mixing water and food helps, since the water is often absorbed into the food. is he feeling any better?? }}
Silwyn laughed slightly, her harmonic voice echoing throughout the tent as she began to finish the job. She ended with a soft sigh, the warmth leaving Alwyn's hand. Slipping her hands away from his, she clasped hers behind her back, gazing at Alwyn before looking at Xzavier. He nodded at her and she grinned, pleased with his admiration of her work.
"You've got no ounce of magic inside you, I'm afraid. Healing just won't work for you, but that's okay! You can be as buff as Captain instead. Sometimes, that works more than my magic." She grinned, trying to reassure Alwyn with her words. She could immediately tell he wasn't native to Narnia, and her gold eyes flashed as she took in every little detail of the stranger her leader had brought to her.
