hey guys, sorry for not coming on yesterday. it was a 9 hr car drive and then we just relaxed. since I'm on vacation my replies will be slow and I definitely won't be on as a much. I'll be home late in the afternoon on the 13th and then I have a show the next day. until I fully get back, Forgotten is in charge unless I'm online.

On the trail ride Briar had observed her new roommate's riding skill and had made a mental note of it. She definitely wasn't a bad rider, that was for sure. For some reason that made the usually grumpy girl a little nicer, so instead of snapping at Scarlette she politely declined the popcorn. "Nah, but thank you. We have the banquet in the mess hall later. You new here?"

Nocono smiled down at the girl, obviously pleased with the compliment. Nocono always loved when someone stroked his and his horse's ego. "Thank you. His name is Comanche's Cry but I call him Cam," he said with a good pat to the neck. Cam was always getting treats from his owner, whether they were high praises in forms of affection or food. Nocono leaned back in his saddle and let the reins drop after knotting them together. "Where's yours?"

As soon as the teen in front of him was done putting in new screws, Rhylin stepped out of the stall and slid the lock into place. Before turning around to face him he gave his mount a quick, affectionate rub on the nose and received a small nicker in return. "Maybe I could be your company then," Rhylin said slickly while extending a hand. "I'm Rhylin Brooks. This is Fool's Gold, or Goldie. Do you work here or are you a student?"

Briar let out a yawn and got up to find some clothes to change into. It probably wasn't a good idea to go to the mess hall in gym clothes and an old tank top that you had been wearing all day. "I've been here since freshman year. I know my way around pretty well."

Before answering her question, Ray dialed the number of P's and Q's and placed their order which they said would be there in about twenty minutes. Putting her phone back down, she got back around to replying to Anna. "I was sick when I arrived freshman year and my roommate offered to stay behind with me and just order in. I had such a good time that I decided to do it the next year and make it a tradition."

She looks through her now neatly folded clothes and thought to herself Well, it looks nice this neat, but I know it won't stay this way for long. She found a nice purple lace dress and quickly put it on. She put on her semi-worn out boots and fixed her hair into a neat side-braid. She checked her mirror to make sure she didn't have dirt on her face. Scarlette sat down and waited for Briar to get out of the bathroom. She didn't really want to walk alone, afraid she would get lost, so she figured she would ask Briar if they could walk together. [ Better? ]

Briar quickly changed into her dress and a pair of brown leather sandals and fixed her hair into her classic bun-braid. After exiting the bathroom, she looked over at her roommate and waved her hand as a sign to come along. "You coming, ScarJo?"

{ ᵒ ᵒ ᶜ } i understand. honestly. and she's so fat omg. like once she spooked at EVERYTHING, everything. but once she started grazing, not even the truck to empty the port-a-potty was enough to scare her away from her food. didn't even blink an eye. she's such a faker omg.
{ ʳ ᵖ } Anna slapped her hands together, obviously having a great idea. "Where's the best spot to graze?" she asked excitedly. "Because, I was thinking, while we wait for our subs - or even once they arrive - we can graze our horses so we can mingle like new acquaintances and get to know the horses." she straightened out her polo's collar like she just came up with an idea worthy of a nobel prize. Ok, so her room wasn't exactly "set up" and her clothes were still "in the suitcase" and she had "responsibilities", but who didn't love a good graze? It's the best bonding experience, honestly. Except when someone's toes gets stepped on, that immediately kills the mood.
