Mikel whistled lowly as he entered the cafeteria room. "Damn...this place is huge. I mean, even for a school cafeteria..." While they were walking towards the kitchen, he tried to look closer at each table and the walls. He saw some that appeared to have...something on it, but he couldn't figure out what it was. Rust? Maybe. Who knew how long this had been here, alone and abandoned? Which made him wonder...what had caused the school to shut down? Did Monobear always rule this school? Or was it just recently built...for them personally? Surely not... He'd seen the school before. So...it didn't make sense... Mikel glanced over the kitchen, eyeing each utensil and each place to cook. "I know how to cook, just a little. I'm not a professional or anything. I'm good at designing, not cooking. But, I can cook up a great grilled cheese sandwich with some homemade french fries." He grinned, "That always hits the spot~"
Oakley nodded at Mycle and Izzy's statements. "Yeah...someone else is probably going to the infirmary anyway. I think the next thing is the Laundry Room. We should check there." She could feel something..strange. Like, someone watching her. She glanced over her shoulder, but thought nothing of it. She sighed. Great, now she was being paranoid. She wished she could just go to her dorm room and draw for the rest of the night. She needed to get some of this out of her head... "Let's hurry, though..." She whispered, a little frightened. "We should be..cautious of the others."

Izzy nodded. "Yeah, let's do tha-" she began, but paused, tilting her head. She thought she heard something... was it just her being paranoid, or something else? Whatever it was, it seemed to have come from the trash room. The dogsledder considered bringing the other two along, but decided against it. If there was a threat, they wouldn't be too helpful in a fight. "I'm gonna go check something. If I'm not back in three minutes, come after me, alright?" With that, Izzy jogged off towards the trash room.

Oakley frowned, "Are you sure you don't want someone to go with you? It's not safe to go alone." She looked to where Izzy was glancing at, eyebrows raised in confusion. She had felt something...strange too. Though, she wasn't going to check on it. She didn't feel like dying today. Or any day, anytime soon. But, now, it was possible. And she wasn't going to take the chance.

Ari peeked inside the kitchen. "Huh," he said. "I hope everything works." He walked inside and looked around. "Homemade french fries, huh? That sure sounds good. Kinda want something now - whoa, is this a walk-in fridge?!" He tugged the door open and looked inside, wanting to walk in but not trusting the other two to not lock him in. "This is now my favorite room," he said, grabbing a can of root beer and cracking it open as he pushed the door shut with his foot. He actually felt a little pleased for the first time since he woke up in this place - then, he started thinking about how a person or a small group could take control of the food in here and thus could hold power over the others. How pleasant. "Alright, I declare lunch - or whatever meal it is," he said, setting his can on the counter and setting off to ransack the pantry.
"Wait, what?" Mycle said as Izzy set off. "But aren't we -?" But then she was too far and he sighed. "... supposed to stick together." He looked up at Oakley. "Why- why wouldn't she want us to come along?" he said in befuddlement. Surely it wouldn't take too long for all of them to go check. Besides, he thought as he checked his map, it looked like she was heading in the direction of the laundry room (she just went left instead of right), where they were headed anyway. Weird. "Well, the laundry room's that way too," he said to Oakley. "We can start heading down ..? I mean, Izzy would probably still see us if we were outside, right...? Or, no, probably best to wait just to make sure she finds us again, three minutes isn't long..." His words descended into quiet mumblings to himself as he chucked one idea in the middle of saying it. Izzy's words had cranked up his alertness to eleven. What was she checking? What if it was something... Mycle suddenly began very, very aware of the space around him and how quiet the hall had fallen, with the other groups already ventured out to other areas. He felt himself tense, his breath almost stopping altogether as he looked behind his shoulder at the storage room, moving to close it. He hated when he got like this - like whenever he's alone in the house or a room, and a scary thought enters his mind, giving him the haunting impression that someone - no, something - was hiding behind him, moving every time he turned his head to look. He shifted behind Oakley, making sure his back was to the wall to give himself some sense of security in his fear.

He shifted behind Oakley, making sure his back was to the wall to give himself some sense of security in his fear. ((hey )) "Heh, fine by me!" Mikel laughed, eyes wide, as he went into the walk in fridge to look over more of their choices. There was so much food...that Monobear guy really expected them to live out here forever, didn't he? The thought made a shiver go down Mikel's spine, but he tried to ignore it, picking up a can of soda and walking into the main kitchen area to find something else to eat. He eventually settled on what appeared to be a collection of different fruit. "Hehe, hey!" He called out to the other two, "Why don't I make us a fruit kabob? There so much fruit here..." He picked up an apple and took a bite. Ah...heavenly... Oakley noticed Mycle's feared expression and moved closer to him. She placed a hand on his shoulder, "Hey, it's alright. I'm sure she'll be back any second..." She glanced over at the laundry room, curious as well. She had felt something earlier...like something bad was going to happen. But, she didn't give in to her sensation and tried her best to comfort Mycle. "Izzy will be back in a few minutes and we'll go down to investigate another room." She gave him a warm smile, to cheer him up. She knew how scary the situation was. She needed to stop being so scared to talk to others and try to help them. It was what she could do to help. "Hey, what did you say you were good at? I wasn't sure I heard it in conversation."

◈ ---- Hayami, Jace, and Leo
◈ ---- Hopefully we find some good stuff in there! It would suck if anyone were to get sick while we're here, but I'm sure it'll happen. And even though Leo says he can, I doubt he can treat anyone without medicine." Hayami tossed her hair over her shoulder, saying the last part with a roll of her eyes. "That idiot is going to get someone killed, thinking he's saving them..." Now she was just being salty, which was very different from how kind and innocent she had been acting earlier. Hayami seemed to jump between personalities a lot...which she was trying to prevent, but it was in her nature to do that.
"It's all the way across the school, of course." She sighed, irritated she had to walk all that way in the uncomfortable shoes she had been given. Though she had designed every aspect of the uniforms, so she couldn't exactly complain. At least she had been smart enough not to pick heels for all the girls. That would be very impractical, even more so than their uniform already was. Hayami really needed to work on how to create more...."school appropriate" outfits.
She stayed silent for the majority of the walk, too busy studying her map, but paused to speak before entering the infirmary. "I think this is it? Maybe." She opened the door, peeking her head in. "Yep! It is." She stepped inside, not waiting for the other two before she started going through the many cabinets and drawers.
It was the three cabinets in the back that she focused most of her attention on, though, and her face went pale. "I...think there's poisons in here, too." She already knew this, but she had to pretend to be surprised. "If someone decided to take some of this...they could kill everyone easily."
--
"What does a murderer look like?" Leo had to think for a moment before he could come up with an answer. "Uh...Kihyun kinda looks like a murderer. Kane too. They look like people who are good at planning out things, and seem to have a more creepy aura. Besides, their talents match it. Kane is the Ultimate Politician - which he lied about. He said he was the Ultimate something else, which means we already know he's dishonest, though him being a Politician tells us that too. Kihyun is the Ultimate Gambler, and what do gamblers do? Lie. They're strategic, and know how to turn everyone against each other. However, none of us have a talent that would be any good for murder, I don't think."
Well, maybe Leo's. He could say he was treating someone, only to "screw up" and kill them. However, everyone would know he had done it, since he was the only one with an extensive knowledge of medicine, which is what he'd use to kill them. He'd probably give them a medicine that would kill them in the dose he gave, or at least knock them out enough that he could easily kill them. But that would be easily figured out, so his medical knowledge wasn't very helpful.
"Cooking?" Leo laughed nervously. "I'm not the Ultimate Cook or anything - I'm a doctor. That doesn't exactly give me any skills in cooking....so nope! I can't cook. I'm sure one of the girls can, though." Weren't girls suppose to know how to cook? Leo assumed so, anyways. Every female in his family could cook...then again, so could almost everyone but him. They were Italian, they could all at least make spaghetti. But Leo had always been far too focused on his medical studies to learn how to make anything. Half the time he was too busy to eat anyways.
"We're having lunch? Now?" Leo seemed confused. "Shouldn't we be exploring more....? Oh well."
--
Jace was kind of just wandering around the school, not sure where to go. After all, he didn't want to inspect the same place someone else did. That would just be a waste of time. However, he had no idea where the others were going. So, he had decided to just walk up and down the halls until he spotted something that interested him. He was also looking for places that might be good for murder - not even because he wanted to kill someone, but because someone might try to murder him. It seemed like this school was perfect for that, as there were plenty of places, even just on the first floor, that would be easy to ambush someone in.
Of course, Jace didn't think someone would try to kill him right now. Why would they? The timing was awful. Still, when he heard someone walking towards him, he couldn't help but panic. Why was someone separate from their group? That was quite suspicious, and he grabbed the object nearest to him. A long metal pipe - perfect. If he needed to defend himself, he would be able to.
When the person came around the corner, he jumped in surprise, and swung the pipe towards their head as an automatic reaction. He didn't hit them, only the wall behind them, and hard enough to make him drop the pipe, cursing as he shook out his throbbing hands. It had hurt pretty bad, and he was too busy being in pain to speak to the girl. He didn't expect Izzy, who he recognized the person to be, to hurt him, so he let his guard down, which was foolish of him.

(o boi oh no)
Mikel chuckled at Leo's statement, "Funny thing is, my dad is a professional cook. I sorta...learned some stuff from him, though, like I said, I don't know much. I can make homemade french fries, though, so there's that." He found some chop sticks in a nearby container and decided to use them as the kabobs. He began sticking different fruit on each one: apples, pears, oranges, kiwis, strawberries. There were so many. He finished one kabob and held it up. "Anyone want one?" He laughed, eyes closed.

((stuff's going down))
"Me," Ari said as he dumped a load of more food onto the kitchen counter. He reached over and grabbed the kabob. "If I die of poisoning, it's on your head. Leo, write that down." He seized a strawberry half, a pear piece, and a kiwi with his teeth and pulled it all into his mouth, twirling the chopstick as he talked with his mouth full. "As for murderers, cool. I'll put their names down on my Avoid-At-All-Costs list." He tilted his head. "Though, I wouldn't rule the others out. It may not look like it, but I am highly suspicious of both of you." He pointed the fruit kabob very seriously at them. "And you -" he pointed Very Seriously at Leo, "- don't have to be an Ultimate Chef to know how to feed yourself. Don't lock yourself into your role unless you want to depend on others to take care of you and that. Is not very smart." He took another bite of his kabob. "Then again, don't listen to me, I'm technically your potential enemy here. And yes, we're having lunch now, food is very important, especially if you're screaming on the inside because of a hopeless situation where we'll all inevitably die because of a stupid toy. Don't mock my coping methods." He still had his mouth full of fruit, which was by the way very delicious. His tone, despite his words, was far less serious and dark and gloomy and bordering more on the light, cheery I-have-accepted-my-fate-and-am-now-dead-inside. Food is indeed Very Important.
Oakley's hand on his shoulder and smile were comforting, and he marveled that someone who barely knew him would reach out like that. He tried to forget about the feeling of something hovering behind him or someone hiding around the corner and gave a wavering smile back. "Thanks," he managed to get out. He sort of wanted to touch the hand on his shoulder to acknowledge it, maybe give some comfort himself, but he had no idea if that's an ok thing, if hand-to-hand touching meant something else, and if he could even bring himself to move. However, he stiffened when she asked him about his talent. Or at least, he thought she was talking about his talent. What else could she be talking about? He turned his gaze to the floor. "Oh. I'm not - I'm not good at anything," he said with a self-deprecating laugh. He didn't really think that exactly - it was more like he wasn't good enough. Which... is probably the same thing. "My title is just Ultimate Luck. I got into the school because my name got drawn from the lottery." Just something to pity. "Though, I guess you could say it wasn't really luck, seeing as we're, we're all stuck in here, waiting to get murdered," he said, his laughter bordering on hysterical. It was funny. Really, really funny. Oh the irony - he loved irony. It was his favorite kind of humor next to puns. Hm, what kind of pun could he use here? If only he was good at thinking up puns. Then he could make himself laugh more. Oh how pathetic.

"Poison?" That piqued his interest, something truly lethal and a potential murder weapon. What has my life come to, that I'm even thinking about murder? But then again, even if Kihyun had known what would happen should he step foot into this academy, he likely would have chosen to come here anyway. He was scared, sure, but even more than that, he was excited. Never in his life had Kihyun had the pleasure of participating in a game where his life was on the line. Unless you count that one time I bet my life savings.
"Leave it there. I would feel better if I knew who they were with, but taking them is a liability." Kihyun himself itched to take those vials, as a precaution. To make sure no one else had them, and to have a weapon on his person. But the risks were too great. No way Kihyun would let himself take the fall for someone else's murder, simply because he'd decided to carry something with him. Certainly, if he were here in the infirmary himself, he would've taken one of those vials without a second thought.

Marcus opened his mouth to protest, but hesitated. Hayami did have a point... like the group idea, it would eliminate suspects, so nobody would kill with the poison. "It's worth a try, I guess... I can take quite a few, if you want. Nobody'll notice them if I hide them in my backpack." Being the Ultimate Card Game Player had its perks. Hiding the bottles under his cards would be easy, and he could even put some of the bottles in some empty deck cases.
-----
Izzy only became more alert as she approached the trash room. Something felt off... almost dangerous. She barely registered a small whoosh before something slammed into the wall behind her. Only her instincts let her dodge the blow. Almost reflexively, she grabbed the weapon that had fallen- a metal pipe- and swung it with all her might at her attacker.
Good news: the guy wouldn't be hurting her anytime soon.
Bad news: well... Monobear got what he wanted.
The dogsledder stood there for a moment, stunned. Did she just... Ugh... no time to think, I have three minutes, tops! She glanced around frantically, before spotting something...
With just a few seconds over her deadline, Izzy jogged over to her group, grumbling something about the stupid machines freaking her out. "Seriously, those were the things I heard? Nearly scared me to death..."

Mikel chuckled, rolling his eyes at Ari's words. "Hm...is it good?" He grinned, looking over to Ari, "Plus, if I was going to kill you, I would have done it already. I could have poisoned that. If I wanted to. Though, you'd know, trust me." He yawned, stretching his arms out. Wow...getting knocked out when first arriving him left him still sleepy. Bleh...he wondered what the dorms looked like. He hadn't explored his yet. He glanced over to Leo, "Yeah...I don't...exactly suspect that you two would kill anyone. Though, you never can tell..." He shrugged, "But it's whatever." He took another bite of his kabob. "And it's cool that you're so skilled as a doctor. So...if we find an infirmary, would you be willing to heal those that get hurt and ill? Since, ya know, you are the doctor here?"
"...Luck, huh?" Oakley noticed his laughter and looked away. She removed her hand and brought it down on her palm, in determination, "Then you're Lucky to be here! Maybe you're the missing piece or something! You can be...like a good luck charm?" She scratched her chin, in embarrassment, realizing she was pretty much calling him a good luck charm, "I mean...well, you may be the one to survive out of all of us. Possibly. I think that's really cool, though. That you weren't brought here because of something you could do, but because of something else. It's...unique." She smiled.

◈ ---- Hayami, Jace, Monobear, and Leo
◈ ---- "Okay! I'm glad we agree," Hayami said with a bright smile, though she did seem a tad bit irritated, for some reason. Who knew why...it was rather difficult to figure her out, after all. "I think it's a lot safer that way." She started to take out the bottles of poison, placing a few in her own bag, which she had found in her room. She had requested it from Monobear, but because he didn't want anyone getting suspicious as to why she had been given one, he just put one in each person's room. Most people just didn't care enough to find it.
"We should probably keep this a secret too. I wouldn't put it past someone to try and steal it from us, so maybe stay quiet about having it." She divided the remaining bottles into two separate piles, and handed half of them to Marcus. "That works!" Once she was done with the poison, she started rearranging the other medicines, so that there was no longer a huge gap where the poisons had been. After that, she took a few steps back, shutting the cabinets. "Can we go to the cafeteria now? I'm hungry!" Despite supposedly being the "leader" of the group, she felt the need to ask. However, if either one of them said no, she'd just argue, and go anyway.
--
And now Jace was dead. Wonderful.
When Izzy threw his dead body in the incinerator, she might've thought she was good, but she had forgotten a few things. She left the weapon on the ground, covered with blood, and he managed to grab a picture she had of her dogs, as he did try to fight her off when he noticed she was attacking him.
As soon as Izzy was gone, Monobear appeared, quickly shutting off the incinerator and dragging Jace's body out. He had suffered severe burns, making it very hard to even see who it was, but there was still a body, which is what the bear had wanted. He dragged the body back over to where the murder weapon was, leaving it there for whoever to find. Jace was still holding the half-burnt picture of the dog, so there was at least some evidence.
--
"I dunno about Ari, he seems kinda mean," Leo paused to smirk in his direction, "But I wouldn't kill anyone. I like saving lives, rather than taking them away. I would only kill in self defense." It seemed like a normal comment, but it was also a bit of a warning to the two. "If you try to murder me, I will kill you," is basically what he was saying, all the while wearing an innocent smile. "And duh. Why wouldn't I?" He gave Mikel a puzzled look. "Of course I'm going to use my skills if they're needed. I'm sure there are going to be injures, and i won't just let the person die. That is, if I can save them."
Leo didn't like to admit it, but he didn't know everything. He didn't know what to do in certain situations, which could be an issue. He could tend to someone with a stab wound or someone who had been poisoned, but if someone had an injury he'd never had to deal with before? He'd probably panic. The thought alone made him nervous, and he stared down at his hands, remaining oddly silent.

Oakley smiled when Izzy got back to the group, "Are you okay? We were getting worried..." She noticed a shift in Izzy's...appearance. Nothing too detailed. But she looked...had she been in a scuffle? "Did someone hurt you? Or did you fall?" She began asking questions, her compassion settling in quickly. She could be like a mother bear sometimes, even too worrisome for others. She eyed the laundry room again, crossing her arms. The machines? That was it? Wow... well, that didn't help them any.
Mikel raised his hands up, "No, no, I figured you'd probably help others out. It is your talent after all. Might as well ask, though." He smiled, before sighing, leaning against the counter, "Ugh...there's so many people here who have talents that can be used here. I'm just a Designer...I design things. Character design, tattoos, layouts, illustrations--that's my thing. And what will that play as in our new role here? Nothing, I imagine..." He stood up straighter and glanced back over to Leo, though seen how Leo was getting quiet. He moved over and handed Leo another kabob--this time, there was some vegetables and cheeses added to it. "I made another. Want it?" He asked, with a grin.

Kihyun was just glad that he didn't have to handle any of the poison. This was good. He knew where the poison was, who the vials were with, but he didn't have to be liable for any of it.
To be honest, Kihyun had never been good at keeping track of when or what he ate during a day. It had been a common problem for Kihyun, trying to figure out whether or not he'd had breakfast when it was already well past the designated time for lunch. When he still lived with his brother, Yoongi, he could count on the elder to remind him to eat at different increments during the day but...but then Yoongi made it big. And Kihyun was left mostly to his own devices. So it didn't come as a surprise to him that it was only when Hayami mentioned the cafeteria that he discovered that he might need some food as well.
"Yeah, that sounds good. I'm a bit hungry as well."

Marcus set down his bag and took the bottles of poison, carefully putting each in a different section of his bagfull of cards. He hefted the backpack over his shoulder and nodded. "Now that you mention it... I could use a snack," he admitted. How long had it been since he last ate, anyway? Marcus reached for the infirmary doorknob. He paused as he heard voices, but soon realized it was just another group.
Izzy flinched as Oakley began asking questions, but shrugged dismissively. "It's nothin'. Just tripped over something that was lyin' around," she explained. She followed Oakley's gaze to the laundry room. "We might as well check that out... I already checked the trash room while looking for that noise." As she said this, her hand went into the pocket of her pants.

◈ ---- "Yep, my talent," Leo repeated in a quiet voice, seeming rather troubled. How could his title be "Ultimate Doctor" if he couldn't fix everything? Surely a good doctor wouldn't ever have to be faced with an injury they didn't know how to treat...Leo was rather narcissistic, but he knew he couldn't cure everything, which upset him. It kind of calmed his ego, at least. However, if he could cure anything? Yeah, his ego would actually be worse, if that was even possible. "I dunno dude. There are a loooooooot of talents that aren't useful. Ultimate Dogsledder? Ultimate Card Game Player? Yeah, those are far more ridiculous than yours is."
Leo wasn't really trying to insult anyone, just cheer Mikel up a bit. Thing was, he didn't know how to properly comfort someone. That was always his issue as a doctor. If he was treating a child, or trying to tell a family that their loved one was seriously injured/sick/dead, he couldn't be sensitive enough. He always ended up screwing up, and the parents of the kid, or the family he was talking to, got mad. Whoops.
"Yeah, sure. Thanks." He took the kabob, though when he got to the vegetables, he picked them off before continuing to eat the fruit and cheese. It was funny, he often recommended lots of vegetables to healing patients, but he never actually ate them himself. They were nasty!
Leo was going to say something else, but paused when he heard the door open, turning to look at the group who had entered. He was surprised to see it was Hayami's group, since they were suppose to be in a completely different area. He didn't even consider the fact that they may had gotten hungry...because he was an idiot.
"Hi!" The female said in an overly cheerful tone, though she seemed confused at the sight of the kabobs being handed out. "Is that...what you're eating?" Hayami seemed very offended by this. Having lived in France for half her life, she obviously knew how to cook. Well, French stuff, anyways. And sushi. She really liked sushi. "That's not lunch!" Shaking her head in disapproval, she stalked over to the pantry, pulling it open to look at her food choices. "It's not like there's no food in here...do none of you know how to cook?"

(*pats* I know that feel)
Marcus followed close behind, stepping into the kitchen seconds after Hayami. "Aw, come on, kebobs aren't that bad." As if to prove his point, Marcus grabbed one of the snacks and took a bite. To be fair, he'd eat just about anything, but that was beside the point. At her question, he shrugged. "Not me. I'm a terrible cook."

{ Aw that svcks DX I feel that on a spiritual level }
"I mean, a normal meal for me is soda and potato chips so these look fine." Kihyun had never been a good cook (not that he'd ever actually tried to cook) and after leaving home, homecooked meals had been pretty hard to come by. Once in a while his brother invited him over and one of Yoongi's hyungs would cook something good, but other than that...well, Kihyun managed to subsist. So he followed in Marcus' footsteps, taking one of the kabobs and beginning to pick away at it. The vegetables came as a shock to him, but it's not as if he was in any position to be picky.

((hi y'all! holy moly I've been busy sorry))
Ari choked back a laugh when he saw Leo whip out a pen and write it down. "I can't believe you're actually doing it," he said, a little amazed. "And what do you mean, I can't cook?! Boiling water and throwing naan bread into the toaster oven counts!" He leaned back against the counter, scowling. "Trust is hardly something to be given out willy-nilly, not when anyone could kill anybody to get out of here. Eating your kabob is a little different because I was watching you put it together. Besides, if you suspect everybody, you won't be surprised or heartbroken at the killer's reveal." And then he stuck out his tongue at Leo. "Yeah, I'm mean, fear me." Then another group started crowding the kitchen, which made Ari scowl deeply and hop up to sit on the kitchen counter. "Great. More company," he grumbled.
((When you try and respond to a bunch of stuff in one post xP also i was wondering... the pipe hit the wall, right? Couldn't Mycle and Oakley hear that?))
Mycle blinked at Oakley. "You really think so?" he said, eyebrows coming together doubtfully, though a small smile still spread across his face. Then, Izzy ran up, and he nodded to her in acknowledgement. Machinery? Like crushing and burning garbage? He grimaced at the mental sound of crushing garbage, the squeaks and shrills of metal and styrafoam.

◈ ---- "What? You eat soda and chips as a meal?!" Hayami seemed shocked at the very idea of that. After all, she'd been raised in a household that was big on eating healthy, large meals. Plus, she was an athlete, so she couldn't exactly get away with eating like that. She wouldn't gain weight or anything, but it wouldn't give her enough energy for the rigorous training she went through on a daily basis. "You guys are helpless. Eat whatever you want, but I'm making myself a real meal. Any of you are welcome to have some." Mainly because she liked showing off, and was certainly more than happy to let anyone have a taste of her food.
When she started actually seasoning and cooking the chicken she had pulled out of the fridge, Leo couldn't help but roll his eyes. It was just impossible to tell she had come from a rich, stuck-up family...in his family, kabobs was considered a good meal. And they were doctors! They weren't exactly poor! He shrugged it off, deciding to just ignore the girl (though he did plan on taking her up on her offer to give them some of her food).
"Was I not suppose to?" He seemed rather confused by Ari's comment. "You told me to write it down..." Geez, he really was like a puppy, and looked rather crestfallen at the idea of having done something wrong. However, the sad expression on his face gave way to a bright grin pretty quickly. "I mean....I guess that could be considered cooking..." He clearly didn't believe this, though, and was just teasing the other. He was amazed he hadn't gotten hit for not keeping his mouth shut yet. "You're mean, yes, but fear you? Nah. You're like a little chihuahua that yaps at everyone, but is too cute to be taken seriously."

((ohhh, kay ^.^))
"Congrats, you just volunteered as the school's official cook," Ari said dryly to Hayami, totally planning on eating her cooking. He gave Leo a look, then noticed the crestfallen look on his face and began to backpedal. "I mean, I didn't think - I don't know, I guess I was surprised you actually did what I said. Seeing as you haven't kept your mouth shut -" The abrupt smile then startled him, and he pouted. He could tell Leo was teasing him. He grumbled something about the basics, but Leo really got his attention with his next line. "Cute?!" he yelped, bouncing off the counter and charged at Leo, stopping a breath away. Perhaps he was angry because Leo pretty much had it down. Maybe if he wasn't Ari he'd smack the guy by now, but Ari had a No Touching policy, and that meant he didn't like touching other people as much as he disliked being touched. He couldn't raise a hand against anybody - he wouldn't consider it let alone bring himself to do it. He was definitely grumpy at Leo's observation because he was the essence of all bark and no bite.

Mikel waved and smiled at the new people as they arrived. He hadn't really gotten the chance to meet anyone else. He tilted his head at the newcomers and offered a kebob to them. Maybe some of them would like one? He just laughed at the other two's (Leo and Ari) bickering, shaking his head and crossing his arms. He leaned back against the counter, considering helping Hayami cook something. Though he enjoyed kebobs and the like, he really wanted some big meal to fill his stomach up. He'd have to ask her what she was cooking with the chicken, and possibly make something else to counter it with. He sighed, fiddling with one of the kebob sticks. "I wonder how Monobear got all of this in here, in the first place..." He muttered, not really talking to anyone in general. It was an open conversation for anyone, really. He was mainly saying it to himself, thinking out loud.
Frowning, but accepting Izzy's answer, Oakley nodded and started walking towards the Laundry Room. "Yeah...just in case we need to wash clothes or something. Maybe there is something in there we can check out...something that can help us." She then glanced over at Mycle and smiled, "Of course! I mean, if your talent is 'Luck'...then maybe...just maybe..." She sighed, "I hope nobody dies, honestly."

Marcus looked up as Ari shouted, unable to hide the smile on his face. He snickered. Just like a chihuahua. He tilted his head at Mikel's words. The nearly-stripped kebob stick hung lazily in his mouth. "Well, this is supposed to be a really important school, right? Maybe this was for all the students that would normally come without, well... Monobear. I'd bet an Ultimate Chef would love this..." Even so, this was a lot of food... just how many students were supposed to attend?
As they approached the laundry room, Izzy pulled out a few photographs from her pocket. She frowned. Was it just her imagination, or was she missing one? Whatever. They had a room to explore. She opened the door, trying her best to ignore Oakley's last sentence. If only they knew...

A slow dawning of delight as the possibility grew on Mycle's face, but then it quickly vanished. "But then... if someone does die..." he said, suddenly looking quite sick. Would it be my fault for not being lucky enough? He knew that was ridiculous, logically, but feelings sure don't care! He looked up as Izzy opened the door to the laundry room, hovering behind the other two so that they could go in first.

◈ ---- "I'm fine with that! As long as i can be useful." Honestly, Hayami would probably continue to cook for all of them, even after she revealed why she was really there. Not because she wanted to be helpful, but because she lived for praise, and would want to continue receiving it. She doubted anyone would trust her enough to eat it, though...which was ridiculous. Why would she poison any of them? She didn't want to kill any of them herself, unless it was as a punishment. However, her executions always had to do with someone's talent, so it was highly unlikely that she'd just poison someone's food. That was too boring and predictable.
"Well, those are two completely different things. Writing something down is easy. Keeping my mouth shut is a bit harder, and it's way too fun to mess with you to actually obey that rule." Leo seemed extremely amused by Ari's reactions, as he was playing right into his little game. Eventually he'd probably learn better, but for now, Leo was going to take advantage of his ignorance. "That's what I said." He arched one eyebrow, not seeming very intimidated. After all, he'd already stated that he wasn't scared of him, and he felt a lot more confident than usual, as he was currently taller than Ari. Mostly because he was up on the counter - otherwise he probably would've been shorter.
"I mean, I'm not wrong." Leo had a few more comments he wanted to make, but decided it was best to keep them to himself. He didn't want Ari to actually be mad at him.
"I'm done, by the way," Hayami called over to the others, having finished surprisingly quickly. Because she could fully cook three chicken breasts in each pan within six minutes, and since she had four pans going, she had managed to make twelve in a rather fast amount of time. The salad hadn't taken long either, considering she just had to toss the greens and herbs into a bowl and pour a bunch of vinaigrette on it. She hadn't exactly felt like taking five hours to make something. "Go ahead and eat if you want." She sat down with her own plate, though seemed to be waiting for others to get food before she touched hers. She still refused to forget her "manners."
"You're pretty and could cook? You'll make a good wife one day." Leo had a habit of making really inappropriate comments at really inappropriate times, like the comment about Ari being "cute" and his newest attempt at flirting. This earned him an irritated glare from Hayami, however, she resisted the urge to snap back at him. She was suppose to be acting nice. She could take out her anger on something else later.
"And to answer your question, he probably had help. Who's to say there aren't other people in on this? A bear couldn't do it himself," Hayami said casually, though she was clearly watching to see their reactions. "Maybe someone among us is a traitor. I wouldn't be too surprised. Or perhaps there are other people in the school we just don't know about. Marcus could always be right, but I'm guessing the food would be spoiled by now if it was left over from the school year. Students and staff go home for the summer, so they'd have to restock the cafeteria before school started up again, and why would they do that if they didn't intend on having students? Because I'm pretty sure Monobear is not actually suppose to have control of this school, and I doubt the school staff knows he has control of it."

Kihyun had no qualms about helping himself to the meal that Hayami had cooked for them, though it boggled his mind how she could have made so much food in the span of...what? Not even ten minutes? The possibility of dying from food poisoning crossed his mind briefly before he chided himself for being ridiculous; even if Hayami wanted to kill them, she wouldn't kill them through food. It was too obvious. Even so, the girl caused him a good deal of suspicion.
A few years ago, Leo's crass comment might have indicted a response from Kihyun, but as it stood, he merely rolled his eyes.
The chicken was good, but Kihyun wasn't about to waste his breath on compliments. "That's an interesting thought, that there are others here whom we're not aware of. But where would they be? Can we get to other floors from here?" He didn't intend to respond to the comment about the possibility of a traitor. Mostly because the first person he wanted to question was Hayami and he didn't think it wise to say that.
