~Alright, so I am the created of the original Hybrids - No longer Human and yes, that does mean I'm Feather_Heart. I had to leave the other roleplay because of how fast it progressed and I honestly couldn't stay up till 2 AM every night trying not to be left behind in the roleplay. I hope to do another make of that roleplay since I enjoyed it so much, but never got to continue it with the others. I would like this to go at a slower pace than the original; so thank's in advance~ Years ago, a group of scientists came together, determined on creating a better, stronger human. In order to do this, they had to take children from ages three and below and grafted animal DNA into them. Recently, there was a breach in sercurity and a handful of Hybrids escaped. The lab is unknown to the government and the people, which means that no people except the scientists know about the hybrids, that makes it very important they retrieve them. Each Hybrid was labeled with a letter and number; for example a girl with monkey DNA and was the 15th experiment(died/failed) would be referred to as MK15. The lab is known as The Institute for Higher Thinkers, though that's only a small piece of what's known to the public. The scientists have sent out multiple of their own Hybrids that have gone through training and were picked out as young children because of outstanding skills and trained to be loyal and work for the scientists. The hybrids who fail to complete their tasks are given harsh and/or strict punishments and each has a collar with a tracking device in it. None of the rooms where hybrids are kept have vents or windows, so it ends up being dimly lit and warm. The hybrids look human except for animal ears and tail, antlers and things of the sort if animal mix has them, and can elong their nails into claws and teeth into fangs. MC3 sat in the small booth at the little cafe called Bay Crest. A hot, oolong tea sat on the table as she waited for her food to be brought out. It was mid-fall and scarlet and amber leafs were strewn of the ground outside. She wore a red beanie that covered her lynx-tipped black ears and wore a grey hoodie with two rows of black buttons. Underneath, she wore short black shorts with her tail tucked into it and knee-high scarlet-black boots. A small choker-like collar hugged her neck, almost unnoticeable beneath her dark red scarf.

Fall was her favourite season, the shades of the leaves, the crispness in the air. Her dark hair fell in gentle curls around her shoulders hiding her tiny bat ears. Her grey eyes were low, she had learnt that if she didn't make eye contact with passers by they didn't seem to notice her. It was a good deal, it meant she didn't have to talk to strangers and they didn't notice her subtle differences. She had it better than everyone else, her mutation was easy to hide it was her eyes that gave her away. So full of fire and ice, all bundled into one both incredibly alluring and terrifying. It was cooling down, she pulled her jade green scarf up over her icy nose. Cafes were so loud and her sensitive ears ached for hours after sitting in one, but with nowhere else to go that was where she found herself heading. As she pushed the door the bell chimed and people looked over, seeing only a bundle of dark clothes and wild curls they turned back to their coffees.

D: star clan ate my post )
Andrew was sitting at a round table near the middle of the cafe, head resting on the table. He wore a black beanie and a black hoodie-jacket with a whit collared shirt under that and black skinny-jeans. His scarlet hair was untidy and messy, the tips tinged white. By winter his hair, ears and tail will have turned a silver-white; his dark scarlet ears and tail were tipped ivory as well. His ears were hidden beneath the beanie and his tail was tucked neatly in his jeans.
MC3 noticed the girl with the wild curls walk into the cafe with a little jingle of the bell. She returned her attention to her oolong tea, brushing a lock of wavy black hair off her shoulder before picking up the mug and taking a sip of the ginger-cinnamon rich tea, the dark amber liquid running down her throat as she swallowed.

The mutant paused, the young girl wrinkling in distaste as the scents and noises of the cafe bombarded her senses. She pulled her soft black beanie tightly around her head, smooshing her cream Fennec fox ears to her head, helping muffle the sounds of the hustle and bustle of the cafe. She glanced around, following the other mutant quickly, her jet black wool coat covering the rest of her mutant traits- a pale cream foxes tail and a pair of sparrows wings. She paused, glancing around, knowing her short stature will make people mistake her for between 15 or 16, instead of her true age, 18

Madisen hated being around other people, most people considered her an introvert and she did not disagree. Perhaps it was her mutant traits that made her that way, or maybe it was genetics. Not that she knew her parents but it was still on the table as a possibility. Her tiger traits were hard to keep under wraps. Her eyes were golden in color with green surrounding the pupil, and the orange and black striped ears she possessed weren't exactly easy to hide either. Today, she almost felt like not hiding them as she could notice them in any way she did her hair. Madisen hated hats, as she was deeply concerned with how she looks and never thought she could pull one off. She decided to maybe do her hair in a certain way, or if the hundreds of muscles she had in her ears, as she was related to felines, could maybe force themselves down. That was very unlikely as they would not be able to bend that way out of sight. Oh hybrid problems...who's dumb idea was it to make hybrid humans anyway? It was bothersome and a pain in her opinion. Of course she did not hang out with too many people and that opinion was often kept to herself. Madisen had decided to wear today, a thin long sleeve white shirt with a jade green vest on top. She wore dark blue jeggings as well, she thought of wearing skinny jeans or jeggings for her shape was okay. As she had no curves to show off anyway, and it made her look thinner than she already was. For a 16 year old, she was behind the growth curve. Only weighing 100 pounds even and standing at 5'4". She was a mystery to the doctors that gave her regular check ups. Her old friends would not make fun of her but say that she makes them all look fat. That was not her intention though. And it still has not been. If Madisen could grow more at will, she would do so. Her short dark brown hair, not going past her jaw, was straightened like usual. However, her thick hair always gave it volume, and was just enough to cover her ears. Madisen pushed up her Vera Bradley brand black glasses when she went inside the coffee shop. She was on an errand for one of her friends who felt too lazy to go get coffee herself. Madisen was very hesitant to leave until she was told that her friend would give her 5 dollars in exchange. Pocket money was always something Madisen could use, she kept spending it all on things like clothes or other super facial items.

Madisen hated being in such a cramped space with so many people, her introvert characteristics coming back again. She would have liked to shove everyone out of the way and tell them to give her space, or better yet, her friend decided to get her lazy butt up and out of bed and actually get the coffee herself. Madisen glared at no one in particular but just the fact that she was surrounded by so many people. Her eyes were golden slots now, and some people seemed to notice this and give he weird looks. Maybe they thought she was a druggee or something and now her eyes were starting to change color. Did she look like she was on drugs? Madisen hoped not, that would be her worst nightmare. Madisen cast her gaze down unto the floor to keep other from looking at her. When it was finally her turn the coffee brewer looked at her with a friendly smile that turned into a look of shock momentarily as he noticed her eyes. He went back to his friendly look, however, it looked very forced. "What can I get for you today miss?" He asked in a voice that sounded a bit too perky.
Madisen hadn't thought about what coffee to get, but it had not occurred to her until now that she could order something bitter like black coffee to get back at her friend. "One tall sized black coffee. Nothing else." She said as she was reading the sizes: tall or grande. She did not feel like spending another two dollars just to get something bigger that her friend would throw out. She watched as the coffee brewer wrote down her order. He did not look up at her as he replied
"I'll have it out in about five minutes ma'am, please take a seat for now." He pointed to a seat with another girl sitting in a booth. Great, more people to interact with. She hesitantly walked over to the other girl with long dark hair siting in one of the booths.
"Sorry to disturb you, there were no other seats." Madisen tried to explain. Hoping she came off as neither rude or unintrested.

Her focus was almost solely on pulling the brush through her hair, each brush stroke pulling her in to an almost trance like state. It was only the voice of the barista, that chirpy forced joviality all service people donned in order to get more tips, that broke her from her reprieve. Mottled gaze remained low as footsteps carried another towards her, tiny ears laying flay against her skull to muffle the footsteps on the sticky linoleum. When the steps stopped close to where she was sitting she looked up, a slender figure stood there, shadow falling over the already dark girl. The voice seemed unnecessarily loud in the confined space, although the strangers voice was otherwise perfectly acceptable volume for someone with normal hearing. "Sit, please." Her voice was soft and rich, surprisingly deep for a girl of her stature but not poorly suited. "It's crowded in here tonight." She said, barely above a whisper and not necessarily addressing the newcomer. She moved her scarf from the table, on to her lap, protective of the silk soft garment. A waiter placed her drink down on the table, the teaspoon clattering against the ceramic plate making the girl flinch although she managed to hide the reaction reasonably well. Carefully she looked across the counter at her forced companion, there was something different about her that she couldn't quite figure out from these subtle fleeting glances.

The fennec-sparrow hybrid dashed up to the cashier, ordering her usual- a chocolate croissant and a chai latte- before giving the man some crumpled change, wincing at the pointed glares from the man behind the counter. She knew it was rude, but she didn't have much else to pay with. She glanced around anxiously, all of the people, the smells- especially the smell of people-, the smells, it made her incredibly anxious. The girl had only been free for two weeks, and being around this many people overstimulated all of her senses. She glanced at where the two girls where sitting, hesitantly walking up to them, "Can I sit here, would you mind?" She asked quickly, deciding that they seemed least likely to be spies.

Andrew groaned and looked up as a waitress walked up to his table. "May I get you something to drink sir?" Her voice was high and cheery, it almost annoyed him, but he shrugged it off. He wanted something sweet. "Hot chocolate?" He asked hopefully. The waitress nodded, scribbled something on a piece of paper and walked away. He lifted his hand to run it through his hair, but remembered his Bernie and that he had to hide his ears and thought better of it, letting his hand rest on the rabbit and tapping the surface in slight boredom.
MC3 looked around, it was getting pretty crowded in her now, sure to make any run-away-hybrid antsy. She looked around for any nervous faces, saw three girls talking, a boy looking bored and people talking. She sighed and glanced out the window that lay next to her table, looking out at the street of bustling people and few cars as the town seemed to be going everywhere and anywhere at once. That just made it more difficult to do her job and find the run always.

Madisen was good with being by herself and now she has to sit with two strangers, how lovely. Maybe her eyes would creep her out a little and they would want to go away. She kept eye contact with the new girl as she spoke, hoping a reaction would arise from it. "I suppose so. There are far too many people in here and far too little places to sit." She said in a very unintrested voice. How she hated small spaces and large numbers of people. Even if it was a large space and large numbers of people, one could find her most likely hiding in a corner away from everyone else. That must be a trait of tigers, keeping to themselves. Since she was part tiger Madisen decided to do a little research about a year ago and found that Tigers usually live alone in large territories. That sounded like heaven at the moment. She kept looking over at other people after she spoke, but mainly the people the new girl's gaze was flickering to. She seemed nervous. Hopefully she was not on the bad side with the cops. Madisen has no intrest in being associated with a fugitive. It would not look good on any job applications in the area. She herself was actually somewhat a fugitive herself. Madisen had escaped from the labs a few years ago, however, the first year was rough. She did not know too much about the outside world. And she did go by her name given to her by scientists, 'TH-19'. Lovely way to introduce one's self wasn't it?

The dark-haired girl gave a small, thin smile, sitting down quickly, sitting on the very edge of the seat, not quite fazed by the unfriendliness in the girls tone and in her eyes. She was just fazed by everything else around her. She wrinkled her nose as a waiter walked past her, able to smell his B.O. from where she was sitting as he dropped off her croissant, the drink not quite done yet. She glanced at the two, unsure of what to say if they asked her what her name was. All she knew was FS-30, but was more than well aware that she couldn't introduce herself as that.

More footsteps, more frantic in their pace, approached the table. Wow this place was almost overflowing now, she couldn't remember a time where she hadn't been able to find her own booth and be left alone. These two had something about them that she just couldn't figure but she didn't mind their company terribly, so long as they kept their voices down. She stirred sugar into her coffee, shaking the spoon off rather than tapping it on the edge of the mug as others would do. It actually helper her cover to have people around her, runaways were nervous of everyone and tended to remain alone for obvious reasons.
She took a sip of her drink, the warmth from the cup spreading through her fingers, warming the frozen tips. The warm liquid soothed her and the sugary sweetness helped to calm her nerves. She straightened up a little as her body thawed. Obviously her first visiter wasn't much of a talker, she was pretty perceptive so it wasn't hard to tell when someone wanted to stay quiet. She was more than happy to oblige, focusing instead on her drink, watching the foam on the top swirl.

Madisen felt a bit awkward just sitting there in silence. She may keep to herself, but she did like to converse in small groups. Very small. Maybe she should introduce herself, to both of them obviously. It would be quite rude of her to not address both. Madisen cleared her throat a little and turned her body to face both of them, "I should introduce myself. Even though we won't be around each other for more then a few minutes...I'm Madisen." She told them. Madisen did not come up with her name when she first left. It was someone else that she had met. Another run away. She forgot his new name but remebered the code he originally went by: TS-68. He was also a tiger hybrid like her. When they both found out that they were both run aways, he told her to go under a new name. He said that she looked like a Madisen, and the name stuck. Madisen was not too sure about what happened to him, she lost any sort of communication with him after she kept trying to get further away from the lab. She can not say she misses him, but he was nice. And here did not find anything wrong with that. Madisen kept her eyes downcast again, not wanting other people to notice them. Her employer had noticed them when she first interviewed for her job, and she assumed that she was not native to the area. Madisen was not about to argue with her, she could believe whatever she wanted about her.

(Actually, yeah, I'll do that sweet. That gave me an idea XD )
Andrew pushed his arms out in front of him in a stretch before scenting the air, taking in all the aromas. Suddenly, he fought scent of animals, one in particular catching his interest. It seemed to come from a girl at a both and he got up and walked over without giving it a second thought. He stopped next to a girl with dark hair and put his nose to her hair, smelling it. Fox. Fennekin Fox. It smelled nice, still not giving it any thought, forgetting that this type of thing was extremely weird and creepy. It was... instinct to find other foxes.

(FS-30, or Arianna/ Ari- 18- slight girl with dark brownish/gingerish hair, the color honestly changing by the day.She has wide green eyes, cream fox ears and tails, with sparrows wings )
FS-30 stiffened, feeling her cheeks flush as the boy neared her, unable to prevent her nose from picking up the scent of another hybrid of the canine breed. Her small nose twitched, making the distinction that the boy had Arctic Fox in him. "Hello. Can I help you?" She asked, her voice a little brisk, spine stiffening in defense. Now that her nose was opened, she could tell that the other two girls where hybrids to, and she couldn't help but feel even more anxious. She needed to get out. Now. She tried to ignore the instinct of trusting the boy- just because they came of the same species doesn't mean he could be trusted.

Madisen was waiting for a reply, as she was often impatient as well, but found herself scooting back when another person came up to the table. However, he did not sit down, but sniffed the new girl's hair...she gave him an odd look, what was wrong with this creep? She has seen creeps, looking at her and such but this guy was very forward. But she can be thankful that it wasn't happening to her. Madisen felt obligated to say something though. Even if it was none of her buisness. "Can we help you?" She asked him, not wanting to help him in any way obviously. This one was a creeper. And not the Minecraft kind she tried to avoid in her xbox game at her friend's apartment. Madisen figured the girl was just as creeped out as well. Since when was this natural? Wait a moment, it never was! He smelled odd though. Not human exactly. Amd suddenly, none of them did. Why? She furrowed her brow in thought as she tried to solve this puzzle of identity
