(Yep. But I got to phase 10, laid down...and lost by point count.) That's on my to-watch list too. Along with every other popular tv show and movie anyone has ever suggested to me. It will lay there...untouched. Possibly for years...Ouch...I can't do popular well. I like the really old shows and Death in Paradise, which is the only TV show I watch that's still coming out with new seasons. When I tell people I watch the Avengers, they say, and I quote 'Oh cool! My son watches that.' And I shake my head and say, 'I doubt it. This is the original Avengers. The old one, with the guy in a bowler hat and Emma Peel.' Then they start wondering who I'm talking about and I start wondering what their kid watches, because I've never seen it. I feel old.

(Ouch, that's rough!) I don't do popular very well but Sherlock has to be an exception. And the new series is supposed to be really good. Ooh! If you like old shows/films, have you seen the Ealing Studio comedies? Or St Trinians? I've not seen either Avengers . Is the old one still about superheroes? Or different?

(I was losing before that. :3 So, I had the lowest score in the whole game for 3/4 of it. So getting second place is awesome.) I've heard it's good as well. But everything else on the list is supposed to be good... It's probably around 1-3 on the list of what I'm going to try next. *leans in* Cool. New ones I haven't heard of! The old one is closer to detectives. John Steed (Patrick Macnee, is the one who is throughout all the series) and his co-stars (the most popular being Emma Peel (Diana Rigg), in 'season 3' ) basically solve national crimes. Kind of like James Bond (007). The Avengers was an old BBC program and the family found it because we basically follow anything that's 'old' and possibly 'comedy'. Though the Avengers has humor, it isn't so much of a comedy.
I just like giving people fun facts about it. Like it was one of the first TV show that the female star wasn't considered just someone to be rescued.

xD
That's very understandable :3 If you get to it before me, tell me what you think. They're all British comedy films from the 40s and 50s, so quite old. St Trinians is about anarchic schoolgirls, the Ealing comedies are quite dark but still really good. That definitely sounds more interesting than the new ones! (Do you like detective stories, by any chance? o.o) That fact is also very cool - it always bugs me when female (or any) roles are passive like that.

Will do! Same goes for you. Hum, I'll have to check them out. XD My opinion as well. (How did you guess?) Yes, yes, same. She's (Emma Peel) is a very cool character.

Will do cx xD Well, I'm not really into superheroes at all, so... (I don't know x3) She sounds like it! I'll have to check her out. (Your new username is awesome btw. Makes me wish I wasn't too far north to learn to surf.)

Yeah, me as well. I don't think I've ever really seen superhero anything (comic book, book, movie, tv show ect.) I doubt a Story Thieves book counts. XD Yes! It is an awesome show. (Heh, thanks. Another misstag, though this time on accident. I've never been surfing, but I've been boogie-boarding. Well, it was like this really short surf board you used in the shallows. )

Me either. Mmm, I doubt it x'D Or the fourth Warriors series... A happy accident, then. I envy you! That sounds awesome (and a lot less scarier than surfing )

Doubt it as well. I get misstagged a lot. Though I never intend to change my SN to mitedfur. Arlo said she kept reading mintedstarsurf as minted scarf and I kept reading it as mintedstar stuff. It was pretty fun. Kind of broke my friends board though. It got a long crack in it from overuse. (Yep. It is.)

Mintedscarf sounds very cool. Or you could be Mightystar/fur...
Oops... I hope you didn't get into too much trouble with them ono.

Yes. Mintedscarf will be next. :3
No I don't think we did. Though I do think they ended up giving it to us. Though we never really used it afterwards, because that first time the waves were just perfect and the water was ice every time we went afterwards. I think we gave it away/sold it after a few years.

I'll be watching...
Good! That's understandable - the sea is really variable (unless you live where I do and the only available sea is always ice.) Hey, do you have any plans to go away this summer?

Then you live over here and any and all available seas just feel like it. xD No, I don't think there are any plans this Summer. Small trips here and there, but nothing impressive or exceeding two days. Unless something changes, which it might. You?

Have you ever tried the North Sea in April, though? It was hilarious, but we all had hypothermia after about ten minutes.
You'll have lots of time for reading/writing/art, then. I'm off to learn Ancient Greek for two weeks (I'll need it if I study classics at uni like I'm planning) which should be fun, otherwise I'm just at home.

No, I have not. Ever tried swimming in Winter, though? xD You get the same results, but that never really stopped us.
I'll be learning German over the Summer, but otherwise I'll just be at home. I should have lots of time *crosses fingers and hopes*

Nope o.o Kudos to you, though. I hereby present you with a medal of metal-ness.
As a summer school, or just self-taught? Either way, good luck! My German's at the 'guten tag' stage rn, it seems like a pretty complex languague to learn. Yay! I'd love to see more Where There's Smoke, if that's what you hope to do.

Or a medal of insanity...
Self-taught. I'll need the luck. xD I'll settle for just reading and writing it, if all else fails. I don't think it's very complex, but that might just be because I've been looking over it (websites, books, etc.) for the past three years. Yes, I hope to finish it within Summer.

Insanity? The Mintedstar I know and love? Have you used duolingo? I used to use it for French. I think it's because German's nowhere near as close to Latin as many other European languages, so I can't understand any of the vocab or grammar endings. Awesome!! You keep leaving parts on cliffhangers, I need to know so many things... I'd like to write something this summer. I'm thinking of sticking Swans on an official hiatus and wait til people have caught up, then start my au fic which I can get more feedback on.

Of course. *takes a bow* No, but it has been suggested to me. Well, it's been ages and ages since I learned even a little Latin and I can't say English ever made sense to me. xD Maybe German will. Cliffhanger are fun. It keeps me writing. What do you want to know? (So I know what to answer.) Hum, that would be interesting *prays I'll actually get caught up this Summer* I'm looking forward to that AU.

*nervous applause* Of course c: Maybe it will. Not sure English makes sense to anyone but hey Hey, did you know that the German for slug translates as 'naked snail'? (Spoiler added for safety) Who exactly are Copper and Rose? Why did the resistance wait this long to bust Smokepaw out? How did WindClan last out and why are they just now onside? For a start. Good luck with catching up! And so am I :3 It's got a bit more...complicated since I started. It may or may not involve Sol.

Cool fact though. :3 (Extra spoilers) Plans to answer those question are in place. I'm glad. Though I'm a little unsure what the WindClan one was? ^^' Last out? Heh, involving Sol would be very interesting.

Thank goodness! c: I NEED TO READ YOUR NEW CHAPTER BTW DON'T LET ME FORGET Hold out? Against TigerClan, I meant. ThunderClan seems to have been taken over completely but WindClan has kept more of their identity. Or am I reading it wrong? (Idk if I've said this to you already) Sol is one of the most underused characters in Warriors in my opinion. He has potential to be a really interesting part of the OOS mythos, but he just kind of gets chased off before the battle. It'd be nice to get him in somehow.

Ooooh. I see! We'll get into that more, yes. Well you see what happened was... xD Read the new chapter, it hints at what happened with that. Uh, I don't think I've ever seen him that way. But yeah, I see what you mean. He's such a prominent character I forgot I never used him in Mortality. o.o Like...I could have really used him in there. But no. Ah well. xD Seeing more of Sol would be very awesome. It would make things very interesting.

I won't make you spoil it for me c; I really enjoyed it! Maybe I'm headcannoning a bit x'D. You know what, I didn't realise I didn't see him in Mortality. He'd have been a match for Soot, I feel.

*clears throat* I'm posting on this essentially dead thread because I've been thinking about the future of this fanfiction and I've finally come to a decision. If I'm honest I lost my muse for this a little, mostly due to poor planning. Don't worry, I'm not going to end the fic (I have WAY too many unresolved issues with the characters to do that) but if I'm going to continue I'm going to need to replan and rewrite the chapters that are already written. I'll leave this version up for now, but any and all plot developments are subject to change. So, have fun speculating about who did it this time and get stoked for A Lamentation of Swans 2.0, coming (hopefully) this autumn!
