I've started reading it and so far it's pretty good. But the summery I found doesn't really explain much. Though, if I know Diana Wynne Jones' style of writing, no summery ever does the book justice. The writings to intricate. I love how my computer thinks you spelled 'favourite' wrong. XD I wonder why we spell it (and most other words) without the u. Humor, favorite, color....ect. I've got the longest memory when it comes to things said on the forums. Plus, my favorite ones I saved or remembered because it tells me what someone else likes.Like, I still remember you like warm colors, so I can make my weavesilk art for you in those colors. Random stuff like that. Does that make me sound creepy, I wonder? Also, I remember that most of the topics you made and I posted on ended up as a chatroom. You changed the title once for your library because of it. See, random memory. XD If only I could remember math this way...

I'm glad you like it :'D For most of her books that I've read, I had a completely different idea of what would happen based on the summary. (Maybe I could nick those for my own writing?) And I love her writing style so much! Intricate's the right word for it - she weaves together all the complex plotlines, and a detailed magic system, and awesome characters... *fangirling cut for space reasons*
Because you're kind to your school children and don't make them learn as many illogical spellings? Idk xD
You just made the last two years flash before my eyes... I'd almost forgotten that library thread. We appear to be doing the chatroom thing again with this thread xD And not creepy. Kind of touching I can dig that x'D

Yah, me too. *joins in the fangirling* I'll switch my spelling for your spelling (I find it more logical, probably because I grew up with books published by British authors)...I actually found out since I asked. It's actually why I thought it would be. Surprising it's been so long. I'm still surprised I've known Shadow, Dingo, and a couple of other for almost five years. It was probably unavoidable. Good, I was worried about that.

She's one of my favourite authors Which other of her books have you read? I find American spelling more logical xD. Less silent letters. Yeah, you guys are the veterans of the wff these days. Knowing us, it probably was :3

Woh, wait? You want the list? XD Let me dig it out: Charmed Life, The Magicians of Caprona, Witch Week, The Lives of Christopher Chant, Conrad's Fate, The Pinhoe Egg, Eight Days of Luke, Dogsbody, The Time of the Ghost, Archer's Goon, Warlock at the Wheel, Howl's Moving Castle, Hidden Turnings, Castle in the Air, House of Many Ways, The Game, Black Maria (Aunt Maria here), Dark Lord of Derkholm, Mixed Magic, Unexpected Magic, and, according to this list, Hexwood. Though I could have sworn I hadn't finished it... As I said, my spelling for your spelling. XD Or the old ladies of it. Whoops, I made a siggy/banner thingy:

That's some list! Hmm, I've not heard of Hidden Turnings or Unexpected Magic. Do you recommend them? If you haven't finished Hexwood, you need to! It has one of the cleverest plot twists I've ever read.
Done! xD Now to explain to my teachers...
Maybe cx Little old babushkas who know everything that's going on.
Wow, that's so pretty! I'm proud to have inspired it

*snorts* I suggest anything that I've read by Diana Wynne Jones. So, yes, I recommend it. Since they have short stories from the Chrestomanci series (I spelled that right...?) and a bunch of cool other stories.
Yah, same... *says to teacher* Sorry, I want to spell it like this now...
That's us/me/them.
I find it very amusing. XD Plus, it was fun to make.

Chapter 10.1 is up! (Coincidentally, exactly a month after the last part.) Two one-shots set in the world of Swans, Renewal and Paths Not Taken, have been reposted under extras to make them more convenient for readers. I'm also considering adding spoiler tags into the story posts, views? (O large readership I totally have.)

Thank you xD To be fair, I do know of a few, so hopefully there are others lurking The Thousandth Floor. It's the first futuristic book I've seen in a while that's not like the Hunger Games, so I'm really excited, and also the plot is awesome

Check how many views you have. Usually, you get 1,000 views per 100 posts. That's normal. I already know you have way above that...Yeah, Hunger Games influenced a lot of books. I'll have to check it out! I enjoy futuristic books. Well, that's not saying much, considering me, but...

That's pretty awesome When did you work that out? You do that! I normally like Hunger Games type books as well, but it's refreshing to see something different. (Also... Imma pm you before I lose internet. I need advice about a forum thing.)

When I was trying to see how popular my fan fiction and RP was with the silent forum population. It's pretty much a common ratio throughout the forums. It's a little different for Off-Topic Writing. Over there it's 100 views to every 2-5 posts. (Okay! )

So it's hard to get a good estimation. I actually saw an old post when I was looking through the Wayback Machine. Some said, "Don't pay attention to the post count if it's low. Look at the view count. My fan fiction only has a few posts on it, but the views are pretty good. That means people are reading them." Plus, I think the view are from members and guests, so that the people who haven't joined yet could also be reading this. Remember that I was a watcher on the old forums for almost three years before I joined? XD I'm sure that there are people out there doing the same thing I did. (No problem.) Recently I been reading an old mystery series called Arsene Lupin. But I'm also reading Six of Crows (haven't gotten very far yet...thanks school) and I'm reading The House of the Scorpion. I'm also rereading Illuminae (book 1 in the Illuminae Files).

I hope the recent explosion of activity here has encouraged some of them to join, then. (Wow, three years? That must make you one of the oldest wff-ers, full stop.) I've never heard of any of those. What are they about?
