(This is because school is the main feature of most forumers life. It could just as easily be 'work is killing me'. ) As in a very long GIF. Which I would do as a movie, but it's easier for me to make it into a gif. The forums are more compatible with GIFs.

(True ;p Banding is also killing me slowly...)
Awesome, good luck! Hmm, that's interesting to know, if I ever tried making videos/gifs

Band? Why's it killing you?
Thank you I'll need it... This is hard to do... Well, if it's a youtube video that's imbedded into a post, then it's more compatible. But here's a perk to the gifs. Other people can save them to there computers. I simply add a watermark to it and everything. (Because half of the people in the Paradox House RP miss my stuff or it gets lost in the pages and no one can remember where it was.)

Well, maybe not killing But between it and school my time gets eaten up quite quickly. Hence my random disappearances... You can do it though! That sounds like a good idea. (And also means you don't need to faff with youtube as well, I guess.)

Chapter 9 part 2 is finally here! Also, I'm doing a character ask event - please ask any question to any character you like. Any! Although questions such as 'are you the killer' probably won't get a straight response...

Are you the killer, random cat? (Because I have more chance asking a random cat then actually asking someone.)

Random cat: Yes, I am the killer. Too bad you don't know who I am, huh?

Well, random cat, I will find out you identity. Cinder, what would you think if Sycamore died?

Post by ~Sapphire~ on Feb 3, 2017 12:30:09 GMT -5
Random cat: O.O
Cinder: Don't tell him, okay, but I'd be really upset... He's grown on me, and I appreciate how committed he is to the swan investigation - even if he does still annoy me
Any other questions? I have to say I was hoping for more than one person, but hey xp

Oh, I have more questions. Trust me. To Sapphire: What motivated you to start writing Swans? (I'm asking the author something first though.) Perhaps: Owlmoon would you be interested in this fan fiction? I know you were looking for some.

Hmm, well, this is your chance then c; (Hey, this wasn't in the deal!) It's a really stupid answer, actually: the summer I started writing it I spent far too much time revising for geography, which gave me the idea for the Ashfall, and then I stumbled across the phrase 'a lamentation of swans' somewhere and just thought it would make a cool title, which then inspired the main plot. Ahh, thank you

Sycamore or Hearts-Ease: Can you explain more about the Ashfall? What was it like? Mulberry: <3 Did you know you are my favorite? Now, why don't you treat everyone better now. (But I never follow the rules. :3 ) That's pretty cool. I've rarely been able to come up with a plot from a title.

Hearts-ease: (Sycamore never paid attention when the elders were explaining this.) No-one really understands what happened, even those who were there - a huge rain of burning ash and rocks just fell out of the sky. Everywhere that wasn't buried by the ash was set on fire, and the ash remained in the air and the lake for a long time. PineClan territory was sheltered by the mountain, but the flatter land near AshClan where the Twolegs lived became a wasteland for a while. The Ashfall affected the weather as well, that's why we have such bad storms. Mulberry: No? Okay, that's cool! Maybe the author will remember to write me into a scene for once, and I can have a chance to do something nice. :3 Nomally the title's the last thing I come up with. But I liked that phrase so much that I was determined. Can I ask you that question back (if we're not playing by the rules )?

Ask me question. Please. Here that, Sapphire. XD Write more Mulberry. Heart-ease, what happened to Ashclan?

Awesome! Okay... Where did you generally get story ideas from?
I will, I will x'D I don't know where you've got to, but I've had no space in the more recent chapters to feature anywhere near the amount of characters I'd like to.
Hearts-ease: AshClan didn't exist back then; the Clans were only formed later, when we realised the Twolegs weren't coming back to look after us like they used to... But that is why they got their name, because the only territory they managed to claim was full of ash.

I generally get my ideas not based on Warrior What-if's from dreams. I dream very vividly and in detail, so I can come up with a clear plot from them.
I understand. XD I'm someone around chapter 4 I think. I would need to check my library to be sure.
So, Heart-ease, that's why your naming system is different. How many clans are there again? (To lazy to look...) Where there ever any more then there are now?

Oh, yes, I think I remember you telling me that now . If only my dreams made enough sense to use them for stories! Hmm, then you have about one or two more scenes where he's prominant, I'm afraid. And that seems like a really good idea for keeping track of fics c: Hearts-ease: Too lazy, honestly! We have three Clans: PineClan, AshClan and StormClan. And yes, there used to be way more immediately after the Ashfall, but all the others died out or merged until there was only three left.

When people start saying that I begin to wonder how other people dream. Here's an interesting question. When you dream do you see color or is everything in black and white? (Ah, random Mint. But what else is new? You don't have to answer if you don't want.)
Your afraid? Because I'm so far back or because Mulberry is so obnoxious?
O.O You know a lot, Heart-Ease.

Colour. At least that's how I remember them Another interesting question: what language do you dream in? (A random question, yes, but quite a cool one cx) Just apologising for the lack of Mulberryness in later chapters x'D A British-ism? IdkHearts-ease: Eh, the elders like to talk about it. And besides, I have the magical power of authorly exposition on my side.

Telepathic. I don't think anything is ever communicated by words. It's more of a sense of information being delivered. (I wonder what the answer would have been if I was bilingual? It comes into my head as English...I think?)
I don't know either.
XD I think Heart-Ease was my second favorite character. If my memory serves.

I'm not bilingual but I'm studying several languages at school, so sometimes I dream in one of those. Complete with my atrocious grammar ;p
Hmm, interesting. Any particular reason why?

Wow, this will be interesting when I learn another language.
I think it was because of her personality. She just seems...calm. -.- I wish I could describe the reasons behind my choice of favorite characters more easily. I'm usually drawn to three types. The flashy, obnoxious type are usually favorite characters of mine. If one of them isn't available then it's usually going to be a character that reminds me of Jayfeather or one that's calm and collected.

*linguistic cackling* Hmm, it's interesting that you'd pick up on that My faves are usually just the ones that make me laugh tbh. Or who I feel sorry for. So I'll end up rooting for the sarcastic underdog and then get disappointed when the heroic characters h=get all the action.

*shudders*
Somehow I think that your going to do something horrible to her now. Sarcastic I love (that usually falls under my flashy, obnoxious fav characters). But I've never really been drawn to the underdogs. But I feel you when it comes to your favorite character not getting enough time in the spotlight. My quiet, collected fav characters disappear into the background to often.

I said nothing! :3
I don't intend to be drawn to underdogs...I just adopt them because I feel too sorry for them not to. But yes! There is nothing worse when an author creates an awesome character and doesn't give them enough page-time.

So, tell me, what is the Merlin Conspiracy by Diana Wynne Jones about. I remember you said on Smoke Rising (ages ago) that you've read it. It's one of the few that I haven't.

Heh, just as I'm rereading it again o.o And it's kind of hard to explain. Um... It involves magic and alternate worlds, and there's a conspiracy to take over the magic of one of the worlds. It's one of my favourites.
Also, you still remember the conversations we had on that fic? Wow
