Those 2-5 don't change though. The views go up, but the posts rarely do. So it's hard to get a good estimation. I actually saw an old post when I was looking through the Wayback Machine. Some said, "Don't pay attention to the post count if it's low. Look at the view count. My fan fiction only has a few posts on it, but the views are pretty good. That means people are reading them." Plus, I think the view are from members and guests, so that the people who haven't joined yet could also be reading this. Remember that I was a watcher on the old forums for almost three years before I joined? XD I'm sure that there are people out there doing the same thing I did. (No problem.) Recently I been reading an old mystery series called Arsene Lupin. But I'm also reading Six of Crows (haven't gotten very far yet...thanks school) and I'm reading The House of the Scorpion. I'm also rereading Illuminae (book 1 in the Illuminae Files). That person was wise. You have a point about lurkers... I hope the recent explosion of activity here has encouraged some of them to join, then. (Wow, three years? That must make you one of the oldest wff-ers, full stop.) I've never heard of any of those. What are they about? Yes, they were. :3 Oh, I really hope so. (Yep. Three years. I've been around since it was first created as a board.) Arsene Lupin is a thief who sometimes solves crimes (sometimes his own). I'm not far enough into Six of Crows to give a good summery. House of the Scorpion is about a place between Mexico and the US and the main character is a clone. Illuminae is a Sci-Fi book told through e-mail, texts, and interviews. The first book is from the 'pov' of two teens stuck on a ship running away from a group that destroyed their home. It gets really complicated and I'm not the best person to explain. ^^'

As if my reading time wasn't stretched enough... I have to say, I really like the idea of a thief solving their own crimes.

Not sure what you mean by bored. Or by achievement. If you mean being a lurker for three years it was because I couldn't really spell back then. Could read fine, but spelled welcome like wlcom. Took me six months as a fully active member before someone told me it was spelled just and not gust. XD Or if you mean reading so many books at once it's because I'm reading them in turns. One day I read one book, then switch depending on what motivates me or which one I have on hand.
You know my avatar? That's of Kaito Kid, a thief based off Arsene Lupin. I read the whole wiki page for Kid and found that 'he is clearly based of Arsene Lupin' and I wanted to know who that was. It's not very popular in America (was murder finding the books in English and not the original language, French, let me tell you) but was as popular in France as Sherlock Holmes was in Britain.

Just that you stuck with the community for so long. (Sorry, I was kind of unspecific cx) Most authors seem to decide to move on at some point. That's definitely an achievement - eight years in total?
French Sherlock Holmes? I never knew that was a thing. So Kaito Kid is an anime based off a French detecetive series? I like the look of it from the avatar.

And still going strong. As I've mentioned to Tuesday before: It's not dedication, it's obsession. New things motivate me to come on and considering there's so much to do here I doubt that will change any time soon. Sorry folks, you are stuck with me. No, it was just as popular as Sherlock Holmes. He's a thief who sometimes ends up solving mysteries because he's often the one who makes them. Kaito Kid is an anime based off it. He's a 'gentleman thief' who wears a flashy costume (unlike Lupin), a monocle (like Lupin), and is good at masquerading as someone other than himself. Sometimes even the police officer whose chasing him (like Lupin). He's flashy and obnoxious, so of course I like him. :3

Obsession, dedication... Don't think we don't admire it That's what I meant, the French answer to Sherlock Holmes. Does it say something that the English have a rich guy and the French have a thief? Ah of course, the Minted type :3 He sounds pretty cool from what you're saying. (Also, nice status xD)

Of course, MintedType©. And yes, he's pretty cool and the show is funny. (Why thank you. Inside jokes are amazing. :3 )

You could make that a sticker to put on books: This book contains the MintedType© Hmm, maybe I'll check it out.
(Even if they occasionally need to be gone after with a cub)

Hey, anything's possible cx
Largely xD Though I did see one scene out of context where he's scared by a fish?

I dearly hope so. XD
Ah, Kid on Trap Island, probably. It's funny(ier) with context. Kid has ichthyophobia, a fear of fish. It hasn't really been explained yet, but you get better context in the anime. ^^'

Fear of fish? Is that a real thing? I mean, it was kind of funny, just a bit unexpected.

Who'd've thought it? o.o Other than sharks, I can't think of any reason why fish would be scary
Anyway, how's your Easter going?

From what I saw: Fear of eating fish because of what's in them (mercury content ect.) and fear of touching fish (ewww, slimy) sounded the most reasonable. Then there's the general fear of fish, which is what Kid has. Gets freaked out even if sees them.
Pretty good. I'm hunting Easter eggs on Dragon Cave. XD What about you?

Hmm, okay. Hey, you learn something new every day.
Awesome! Um... Mostly recovering from four church services in as many days. (I'm Catholic.) I was up pretty late last night because we had a vigil mass and then a celebration after that.

That is the saying. XD
Four? O.O Wow. Would I sound dumb if I asked what a vigil mass was? Celebration sounds fun. :3 I did spend time with my family today. Had some fun.

Catholicism for you. I'm so tired xp A vigil mass is a really late mass on the night before easter Sunday. Celebrating easter at the earliest possible opportunity. It also involves fire. You're not dumb for asking that at all!
That's good! It's always nice to be with family.

You will sleep tonight. Fire? Okay. (Really want to ask how it involves fire. Maybe I should look it up.) Good. ^^' Thank you.Yep! We're going to watch a movie together soon and I'm going to try to not get defeated in Phase 10.

And that last message was 10pm for me rip... But I have caught up a bit (If you've not looked it up... The service starts with a bonfire outside the church, we light a fancy Easter candle from it, then we light all the candles in the church from that. Get back inside and have the first readings by candlelight. It's pretty fun, but nerve-wracking if you're with kids o.o) Phase 10? I hope you enjoy the movie! Do you have one in mind?

Ouch. (I didn't yet. That sounds super cool and fun. But being with kids, I'd be very worried. o.o) Phase 10: Loved the movie. It was a rewatch of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

"Stop playing with the candle! Don't burn yourself on the candle wax!" etc. It's great.
Hmm, is it a bit like Uno? (What I was playing with my family on Easter..) I still need to watch that film! You recommend it, then?

Sounds fun. xD A little. Only you have to do different things in each part of the game. (Like having to find a set of four numbers. Like, two sets of four could be: four of 3 cards and four 6 cards.) Yes. I recommend it. It is very good.

Sounds fun, if complicated cx (Did you get defeated in the end?) It's at the top of my to-watch list. Along with the new Sherlock.
