Iriskit stared back at her father with round eyes, nodding at each word. He could have told her just about anything and she would have believed it. "Mama said the puddles aren't always here... where do they go?"
Sapkit grinned at Pondkit as his brother jumped in too! "It's fun isn't it?" he asked, jumping up and spraying more water about.
Littleshadow watched with shining eyes, "Go on and give another big jump too Pondkit. Getting used to the water is the first step of being a Riverclan warrior.

Or up in the air. Very slowly." Owlwhisker nodded, proud of his own explination. This wasn't so bad, this smart talk stuff! He chuckled. "You know, there are some Riverclan cats who don't swim as often as others do. I can't swim much during leafbare, because my fur is too short. So, I get to lead alot of land patrols." He admitted. "I like it." Pondkit nodded, voice soft as he watched his brother for a moment, before he quietly yet playfully began to scamper after him, splashing around whenever Sapkit did. He looked at his mother, before scuttling out of the puddle, and then jumping right back into it. "Like that, mama?" |

I MIGHT emphasize MIGHT! be taking a few days away from the forums? I'm not sure, I've been pretty busy lately and... I don't know ok! I just might! so if I'm inactive for a few days don't get worried ig? I haven't been feeling too good a bit I guess (throat and cough? Probably not sick but yeah) And I think I'm under a bit of stress... not sure so yeah//

"There are five clans in the forest my love. But yes, we're the only ones that swim. Windclan lives on wide open land and hunts rabbits. Their warriors have thin fur and long tails and legs. The other clans are called Shadowclan, Thunderclan and Skyclan." Littleshadow said.
Sapkit stopped his splashing to listen to Littleshadow, interested in hearing about the clans. "That sounds like a lot of cats."

Yeah, I can do that.” Pondkit squeaked, before he looked expectantly up at his mother. “Can you be my mentor? I want you to be my mentor, mama.” |

Sometimes it snows very early in leaffall. Sometimes it snows very late into leafbare. Snow falls when it wants to, not when we want it to." Owlwhisker humored, tapping his paw gently against Iriskit's nose and purring at her. "You sure are curious, huh?" "Aw... I want you to be my mentor. You're my favorite!" Pondkit pouted, before he quickly seemed interested in Littleshadow's words. "Can we take Sapkit and Iriskit with us? I want them to come too." He asked. |

Petalcreek groomed her fur in a spot of weak sunlight, trying to enjoy the warmth as much as she could before leafbare. She had just finished eating a fish and was just thinking about if she should go out hunting or on a walk. Perhaps she could join a border patrol if they needed the extra paws.

Coppersky padded out of the warrior's den with a yawn, feeling much better after a nap following dawn patrol. He peered around the camp, stopping on Petalcreek's familiar face. He padded over to her with a smile, "Morning Petalcreek."

Sapkit who had been studying a pebble beneath the water jumped as Pondkit bowled him over. He yelped as he fell over into the water with a big splash. Sitting up he giggled, realizing both of their fur was plastered to their bodies. "Do cats always look like this when they get wet? We look so silly!" |

"Ah well, I went on dawn patrol then went back to my nest for a bit. I have to admit I'm not used to how cool the wind is off of the river. I felt like my bones were frozen when we got back, and it's not even leafbare yet." Coppersky replied.

“Not yet. I was actually just thinking about going out for a walk or do some hunting.” Petalcreek mewed, giving her fur a light shake. “You’re welcome to join me if you would like. Have you been practicing your fishing since the last time we went hunting together?” She asked, having enjoyed hunting with him last time.
