Smallkit nodded in excitment, "Thank you swir!" she mewed quietly and ran off to the other kits, "Its ready!" she squeaked, "I hid it really really well and its going to be very very hard!" Smallkit sat down and waited for them to open their eyes and start the hunt.

"Gah!" Owlwhisker gasped , quiet yet playful as he rolled on his side, allowing his tail to sweep away and reveal the shell. He sighed dramatically. "I can't defeat such powerful Riverclan Warriors! Take the shell and let me go free!" He grinned lightly to himself. Rosekit gave a victorious purr, nodding to Smallkit. "Go on and get it! You can hide it next since you found it." He offered. --- Iciclestep watched Snowflower for a moment, able to see that she seemed to be thinking about something. Instead, he offered a single small chuckle at the sight of the kits. "Good to see them playing. That's all kits should have to worry about, you know? Finding shells and playing games. It's the greatest sign we can have, that Riverclan is thriving. It's all I could wish for." He admitted. As the meeting drew to a close, Snowflower found her gaze lingering on the kits a while longer. After so much tension in the camp, between Earthstar being away and the threat of the prey-maulers, it was nice just to see the kits playing. There was still much for the clan to worry about, but it was great to see the young ones thriving. It made her wonder... She glanced at Iciclestep, flushed, then looked away. It was still a little too soon to start thinking about that. Clearing her throat, she returned to their previous conversation. "It looks like Earthstar might want to talk with Alder, but we can't forget to mention the twoleg when we get a chance."

Earthstar's gaze met Alder's as the noise died down within the crowd. He was tempted to share what he wanted to say to the former loner in front of the Clan, but he knew it wasn't quite time. He swished his tail and prepared to jump down from the Reed Rock. "That is all." Koishade watched her grandfather end the meeting hopelessly. She looked at her new apprentice and cleared her throat. "Um..." What should she do? Alder's orange ear flicked as he met Earthstar's gaze. As the tom jumped from the Reed Rock, he picked his way a little closer to the clan leader. He lingered a few tail lengths away, uncertain if Earthstar wanted to talk to him, or if he had other pressing matters.

Smallkit sat down and waited for them to open their eyes and start the hunt. Finkit quickly opened her eyes, rushing off to try and nose aside as many of the nests as she could. Rosekit was more careful, taking his time to send a small smile to Smallkit, before he hummed thoughtfully. He knew that the shell wasn't going to be right near them, so he started by padding to the far corner of the nursery. He frowned, unable to find it here. He looked around, watching Finkit for a while.

Sheeppaw, seeing that Alder was intent on speaking with Earthstar, flicked his fluffy tail in farewell to the former loner before meandering off, humming a tune.

Here's some starters for anyone ^.^)
Nightflame padded over to her kits after the meeting had ended, purring a congratulations to them. "All three of you have done well to earn your names." She mewed, looking at them proudly. "I know that you'll make RiverClan proud now that you're warriors."
Silentshade lifted her head at her mother's praise, glad that she and her littermates had finally become warriors. "Thank you, Nightflame." She mewed, her eyes shining.
Arcticflower dipped her head, smiling at her mother and siblings. "We won't let you down." She promised with a purr.
Petalcreek moved off to a secluded corner of the camp as the meeting ended, sitting down and starting to groom her pelt. She was happy for the new Warriors and apprentices, although she did wish that she had been appointed an apprentice of her own as well. Petalcreek gave a small shake of her head, not sure if she was even ready to train an apprentice just yet anyways.
Thawfrost padded towards the nursery, carrying a fish for Orchidnight. Now that the ceremonies were over, he wanted to visit with his mate and kits.

Even so, his heart ached knowing that she'd no longer be in the apprentice's den with him, and their nightly talks wouldn't be a thing anymore until he too became a Warrior. He ignored the sharp sting in his tail where Brinetail had dragged him under the water, yet inwardly he reminded himself that now he knew how to hold his breath longer, and feel when cats were moving in the water. Feeling stronger than ever, he lifted his chin and waited for a chance to congratulate her. Orchidnight sat at the mouth of the nursery, keeping her eyes on Finkit and Rosekit as they played with Smallkit. She glanced back at Thawfrost, mewing steadily. "I see you've brought me something. You'll be happy to know that our kits are having a good time playing with their new friend."

Littleshadow yawned as she awoke, blinking in surprise as her eyes met tiny pale blue ones looking back at her. "Oh! Iriskit, your eyes are open!"
Iriskit giggled looking up at her mother, "I look like you!" she squeaked.
Sapkit rolled over, snuggling further into Littleshadow's fur. "Don't wanna wake up yet."
~~
Tinypool settled near the warrior's den with a small fish, tired after evening patrol.
Stormsplash rolled his shoulders before picking up a reed and lacing it through the elder's den. Now that the flooding had gone back down it was perfect time to fix up the dens.
Sproutpaw scampered out of the apprentice's den, looking for something to do.

Sproutpaw scampered out of the apprentice's den, looking for something to do. Owlwhisker continued to assist Smallkit in their game, shifting to make it look like the shell was near him again, but he quickly focused on Littleshadow's reaction to their kits. He excitedly poked his head next to his mate's, gasping. "Look! Oh, how pretty your eyes are!" He excitedly watched their three kits with wonder, noticing Pondkit's eyes were open too as he quietly looked around him. The tom sniffled with emotion. "They're the most perfect things to ever exist!" Diamondheart noticed Sproutpaw scampering about. Now that Earthstar had ended the meeting, and the deputy was content that all of his daily tasks were done, he approached his apprentice and mewed. "Up for some battle training, Sproutpaw? I want to teach you some new techniques that your mother taught me at your age."

Iriskit preened under her father's praise, teetering up to her paws and wobbling toward him. "Papa? Sapkit looks like you. Did you know that."
At that, Sapkit sat up, sleepily peeling his deep green eyes open to look at his father.
Littleshadow nodded, eyes shining as she looked down at all three of them. "Absolutely perfect."
Sproutpaw's fur puffed with excitement, "Yes! I'd love to Diamondheart. You're not too busy right now?"

"If I were too busy for you, I wouldn't be able to be your mentor." Diamondheart humored, before he nodded. "Of course, Sproutpaw. I organize patrols the day before so they get out faster and give me more time for training and tasks. I've been doing this a long time, and Thawfrost turned out fine, so will you." He assured, nodding for Sproutpaw to follow him out of camp. "Would you like land training, or water training today?"

Not the name I was expecting, but I think it suits me rather well." She mewed, curious to see what her friend's opinion on her new name would be. Thawfrost dropped the fish next to his mate and gave a small purr, "That's good. I'm glad that they're all getting along rather well." He mewed, touching his nose to Orchidnight's cheek gently before he settled down next to her and nudging the fish closer to her. "I thought you might be hungry, so I brought you this." He added. Seakit had decided to stay next to her mother, not really wanting to play with the other kits, and Pearkit was keeping herself occupied with a mossball that she was tossing up into the air and trying to catch before it could land back on the ground.

"I think I can manage that." Littleshadow teased, touching her nose to Pondkit's head again as she pulled him closer to her.
Sproutpaw looked nervous as Diamondheart spoke of the move they would be going over. "It sounds complicated. Is it a hard move to learn?"

That isn't something most queens do when they move into the nursery." Thawfrost continued with a purr.

Puddlepaw sighed with a hint of bitterness, before he suddenly shrugged. "Won't matter. I'm easily keeping up all on my own, I work twice as hard even when I don't get taken out of camp. I'm not worried." He smirked, inwardly giddy that he was getting such good training from his grandparents, and now Nightflame again, even if he still felt impatient with the pacing. "I'll be there in the den with you soon." "I couldn't just stop training her." Orchidnight mewed firmly as she took a bite of the fish, enjoying the taste, but enjoying talking about Silentshade more. "Kits or no kits, I promised her I'd make her into a Warrior. So I did. Smogstorm was a huge help, watching over the kits the times I left to train Silentshade the last moon or so. Mentoring makes me feel... better. So, I guess a part of it is me being selfish, but I just... need that good feeling." She mewed honestly, quietly.

"If you get any closer to me, I'm going mistake you for a tick! Don't let those apprentices see you." Sproutpaw took a deep breath to steady his nerves, smiling at Diamondheart. "Right. I'll do my best! Special water moves like these are what makes Riverclan such a tough opponent for the other clans. It's silly to me that they don't know how to swim."

(sorry for disappearing, I was grounded.)( Moonblazer , wanna do rippleshine and stonegaze?) (It's all good! Sure, we can do them!) Stonegaze was grooming his pelt, having been watching the ceremony that had just ended. It was nice to see that Ospreystrike was getting her first apprentice. He had just finished training Mintpaw for the day himself before the ceremony had started, and now he was enjoying some time to relax. He looked around, eyes catching on Rippleshine from afar.

Owlwhisker gave a bright grin, shifting so he could roll on his shoulders and land on his back. He leaned his head, now upside-down, right over towards Iriskit. "Now we're both upside down. You know, I like to look at clouds like this some days. Soon, when you start getting strong enough to leave the nursery, we can watch the clouds just like this." He promised. Pondkit giggled as he was pulled closer to his mother, curling up like a small ball to keep as close as possible to her. He liked the attention, and liked being hidden away at the same time. "No move is a hard move when you put effort and care into learning it. I know that you're capable of learning it, too. More than you might think." Diamondheart mewed confidently, yet with his usual calmness. He smiled encouragingly at Sproutpaw. "Come prove me right, got it? No worrying, I won't quit on you, ever." Iriskit looked at her father with wonder, "Is our camp big? Bigger than the nursery? What's a cloud look like?" Littleshadow began to groom Pondkit as he snuggled closer to her. It's silly to me that they don't know how to swim." "Much, much bigger than the nursery. And a cloud looks like..." Owlwhisker hummed, before he seemed to come up with an idea. He pulled over a puffy clump of moss. "It looks like white mossballs, all the way up above your head in the sky. You'll notice them when you first see them. You can't reach them, I tried when I was your age and sadly couldn't catch one." He sighed dramatically. "What's a tick?" Pondkit asked with soft curiousity, blinking up wide eyes at his mother as he rubbed his head against her side. "Well, most of them don't have nearly enough rivers or streams to practice in." Diamondheart admitted, before a humored smirk crossed his face. "That, and most of them would be too scared to try. They've got to steady their spines before they can try and come close to the kind of skills we learn." He waved his tail as he sought out a good stretch of river to practice in today. He needed a slow current, since this would be a move to use in slow moving water. "Don't tell my brother I said that at the next gathering." He chortled.
