(assuming he’s still open!) Snowflower awoke from her nap with a long yawn, stretching briefly before sitting upright and taking a few steps toward Iciclestep. “You look worried. Something the matter?” “I don’t like the idea that prey-maulers are now starting to cross to Windclan. Sooner or later, they’ll turn their muzzles to us.” Iciclestep sighed, admitting his concerns to her as he continued. “I wish there was a way to just drive them off before they could strike us.” She settled next to him and nudged his shoulder comfortingly. "It's tough, having all this uncertainty. Having them travel to other clans is unnerving, but at least Riverclan isn't alone in this." Snowflower thought for a moment. "Even if we haven't discovered their camp, maybe another clan has. I'm sure we'll learn more at the next Gathering." |

Quietpaw let a moment of silence pass as he estimated how long he'd been training for. "...About 4 or 5 moons," he mumbled. He hadn't really been counting since Specklecreek went missing, but he knew it wasn't a short amount of time. Quietpaw simply stared at Alder. There wasn't much he wanted to talk about with this cat. [ mintleaf2 ] (I apologize for the VERY late reply. My motivation went down the drain.) (That's okay! I've been really busy lately and only just able to get back in the swing of things here. Glad you're back!) Alder bobbed his head. "I see. Well, Quietpaw, I hope I can teach you everything you want to learn and more. But to start, can you tell me a little about the state of the clan? Are there any cats you're currently treating? Any cats with any lasting sicknesses or weakness?" He took a glance at the herb stocks. "Also, is there anything you've been having trouble collecting? Do you know if Specklecreek made any preparations for leafbare?" While he knew the questions were a lot, he had sensed Quietpaw's reluctance, and hoped some conversation about what the apprentice could take pride in would help strike up a bigger conversation. |

We all follow the warrior code, but we each have our own way of life. I'm thankful AdderClan didn't ruin that." |

“Hah!” Ospreystrike scoffed playfully, tapping her tail against Rippleshine’s nose as she mewed. “That’s going to be quite the bet for you to win, against me. I’ve got the quickest paws in the Warrior’s den.” She bragged, determined now to catch the biggest fish she could manage. (sorry for the late response) "yeah right!" he called as he sprinted out the entrance. “Hey! Who said you could get head starts!” Ospreystrike called, though her eyes gleamed with humor as she darted after her clanmate. She wanted to see how Rippleshine was in general, if he really wanted to try and pursue her older brother. Stonegaze was pretty much what kept them all together, his steadfast energy and bravery made him very important to Ospreystrike. |

Quietpaw grumbled a little. Alder sure was a chatty cat. He didn't like it. "I'm only really looking after the queens and kits right now," he replied with a sigh, "Especially Littleshadow. She's expecting." Quietpaw took another look at the herbs he had stored. "As for preparations, I'm making sure the herbs are properly taken care of and used only when absolutely needed. Can't think of any herbs I need." He let out a breath. He hated having to talk to other cats, it gave him a sort of stress-like feeling that he didn't quite enjoy. Especially since he knew nothing about this cat, except that he knows, or is supposed to know, herbs. ”I see,” Alder took in the words thoughtfully. “Thank you for that. How would you feel about taking a walk through the territory and showing me where you normally collect from?” |

I just now started getting this rain water out of my fur.” Iciclestep explained with a huff at the hassle of the weather. Swimming was fine, it was getting drenched in muddy water and debris that was always a hassle. |

While she didn’t seem to favor all the mushy stuff, she did know how much her parents loved eachother. She glanced over at the nursery and mewed. “She spends alot of time with Hazelkit, now. Do you think she’s gonna stay in the nursery? Larkpaw said Windclan has a Queen that never leaves the nursery.” |

Ottermask flicked his ear and glanced toward the nursery. He respected Smogstorm's kind heart in taking care of Hazelkit, but he sure missed having her in the warrior's den. "If she does become a permanent queen, she hasn't told me yet. I suppose I'll ask her about it when she's free later."
