Littleshadow listened intently, nodding her head along to his story. She smiled at the end, purring quietly. "That would be nice wouldn't it? Lands where prey never ended? I suppose that's what Starclan's like." she mused thoughtfully. "Were you a good hunter when you lived in the twolegplace?" she asked suddenly. "There's no one to teach you." Owlwhisker looked thoughtful for a moment, before he chuckled lightly. "I was alright. Not as good as Tessa. She was better at most things, and she never let me go hungry. She taught me, after she taught herself. She had to. Our mother never did. I don't think she ever wanted to anyway. So Tessa did it instead." He blinked a few times, the fondness in his voice growing heavier as he shook his head. "I'm much better at it now than I was. More useful, I think. Mistfall taught me so much." He purred.

Littleshadow leaned closer to him as his voice became heavy, she never knew how much he was willing to share. She wanted to know everything about his life, but also hated when it changed the mood of their conversation. "I can't imagine being on my own like that with no one to teach me how to.. survive! You two were very brave and very strong to do that for so long."

Eelshock nodded. "We can start by just causally mentioning it to warriors we see on patrols or at gatherings when it comes to the other Clans. As for RiverClan." He trailed his gaze over towards the nursery were Ottermask was sitting with Smogstorm and Frostlake. "Some will be harder to convince then others since most believe anything remotely close to AdderClan is the will of the Dark Forest."

"Oh, shoot." Owlwhisker purred at the compliment. "I wasn't all that brave. Kind of airheaded, really, so things didn't scare me like they should have. Tessa was good at scaring bigger cats away too, so I didn't have to worry too much about being chased down. The dogs were a bit scary though, but I learned how to run fast because of it." He teased, looking proud of himself.
Fluffpaw nodded with understanding, glancing back towards where her father was organizing clan duties, and where her mother usually rested. "My parents are really serious about that time. The big scar on my father's back was apparently from Adderstar himself. It's weird...sometimes I feel bad for being related to a cat like him, but other times I wonder what happened to change him. He must have been an incredibly powerful Warrior, to become leader like that in the first place..." She admitted, looking back at Eelshock.

Littleshadow kneaded her paws into her nest nervously as she imagined the dogs she had heard stories about. "Are they as big and scary as everyone says? Do they really have jaws that could cut you in half?" she asked with wide eyes. She had never seen a dog herself, she didn't have the slightest clue what they looked like.

Eelshock nodded. "My father was the son of Robinstar's deputy and I was born right after AdderClan was defeated. I never knew him, but my mother never spoke any ill about him. Only the other cats did. I know he and my mother admired Adderstar. He was lightning fast and deadly strong. I can't say I know what changed him, but I often wonder what made him so powerful. Maybe I could become that strong?"

"Some are smaller than we are!" Owlwhisker exclaimed, before a look of nervousness filled his eyes for a moment. "And...some are massive, with big, shining teeth, and huge paws and noses. They run so fast, so you have to be clever. You can't fight dogs like those and win..." He admitted.
"...Adderstar and Robinstar seem like kittales. Like they only exist to scare us...but I know that once, they lived, and they led their clans. I know that what they did sounds awful, and cats suffered for it...but maybe if it was done better, if cats actually agreed and worked to make uniting a reality, then maybe we both can become that strong." Fluffpaw admitted, looking at Eelshock with a sudden sort of clarity, excitement for their shared ambition for Riverclan's future in her eyes. "It's starting to sound more real now."

Littleshadow's head tilted as she thought that dogs could be smaller than her, it peaked her interest. "So they're are bad dogs and good dogs? Just like there are bad cats and good cats." Her tail flicked idly as she contemplated the concept. "I guess everything is more complex than we think they are."

"Oh yes! Funny enough, there are some dogs that can even seem to understand us! Some are so nice, that they'll just follow you around and wag their tails, and do nothing else." Owlwhisker snickered, looking at his mate, before he mellowed out again. "Some dogs though...their twolegs train them to be violent, and they enjoy trying to hunt cats down..."

Sure)
Earthstar was in his den, thinking about the situation with the Dark Forest. Nothing had changed since his talk with Diamondheart, but he still worried that there was something going on under his radar.
Koiflame and Salmonsplash were sharing a fish.
Troutfang was out by the river, trying to fish something up.
(If you want a different character, just say so)

Troutfang was out by the river, trying to fish something up. (If you want a different character, just say so) Ivymask shook her pelt as she padded towards Troutfang’s side. Her eyes were flickering with interest as she saddled up to her mate’s side. “Catch anything yet? Maybe I can make your luck better.” She smirked. “Riverclan’s newest Warriors.” Jaggedfang approached Koishade and Salmonsplash with a small nod. “Was your vigil as boring as mine was?” The young Warrior asked.

Troutfang let out a sigh, though the appearance of his mate brightened his mood slightly. "Nothing. I'm a bit worried that everything's gone before the river even freezes."
"Definitely." Koishade didn't hesitate to answer. "I know it's important, though."
Salmonsplash flattened his ears slightly at his sister's response. "Mine was fine. It gave me time to reflect."

Ivymask stepped up to Troutfang’s side, bumping her shoulder to his, firm yet fond as she snorted. “You always did worry about prey, yet you’re a skilled hunter. If the fish are clever, they should know that our part of the river surely must be the safest...though, I guess ash in the water isn’t all that nice.” She relented. Jaggedfang eyed Salmonsplash with a hint of teasing in his gruff voice. “You’re as serious as your parents, huh? What kind of reflections would you be having?” He asked, offering a small look of humor to Koishade as well. “And you, Koishade? Did you have your moments of reflection?”

"I hope the ash hasn't polluted the river." Troutfang observed, peering into the water. It looked normal, but he wouldn't know if it affected the fish at all. "Maybe if you're here, they'll come back and we'll have better luck."
"Well, I was just thinking about what I'll have to do now... I'm not just an apprentice anymore." Salmonsplash answered, wanting to look serious.
Koishade glanced at Salmonsplash. "That's a way of putting it, but what he said." she spoke.

She settled down near him, peering seriously at the water in wait. “I’ll help you keep watch.” “It’s definitely more work than you’d think. But! Way more freedoms than an apprentice has.” Jaggedfang nodded, flicking his tail as he rumbled. “The first patrols as a Warrior are always the best ones.”

What else can you tell me about the twolegplace?" “Well, I can tell you that twolegs are strange...but, they’re also incredibly smart too! I’ve seen twolegs do stuff that you couldn’t even imagine! I once saw a twoleg fight off another twoleg, and get this! It was to protect a cat! They must have been their kittypet, but that kittypet looked like the happiest cat in the world afterwards. All twolegs have a different scent too. No two smell the same, though I think their kits smell kind of similar to them.” Owlwhisker explained.

Littleshadow wrinkled her nose as she recalled the scent of the twolegplace and twolegs. "I don't think I've ever seen a twoleg kit. Are they dangerous? Do they ride in monsters' bellies too?"

Most aren’t dangerous, just really playful and curious. They chase cats alot, but they just kind of liked...touching their fur, I guess! And yes, they ride in monster’s bellies all the time. I think the monsters are born because twolegs help them have more kits. But, I’ve never seen a monster kit before.” Owlwhisker admitted.

“That’s what it seems like to me!” Owlwhisker nodded, the slender tom giving his mate a humored look. “Want to know another thing? Some humans keep birds in their nests too! They never eat them, and some of the birds are the most colorful looking birds I’ve ever seen! They’d be prey in a heartbeat, standing out like that!”

Koishade didn't look opposed to leading a patrol. "Doesn't sound so bad."

Apparently she got in trouble for trying to catch them.” He snickered at the memory.
