Stormheart got up and started to walk out of the Warriors Den, but then he stopped in the entrence and just stood there with a look of deep sadness. The camp would never be the same...the flood waters had lashed at the dens so now they wore permanently damaged, even though the other Warriors tried as hard as they could to rebuild them. Bits of wood still littered the ground, and the earth had been turned into a muddy shifty mess. His ears drooped and he slowly padded over to the Fresh Kill pile and quietly munched on a Water Vole.

Earthstar gazed at camp, sighing at the damage. Once again the flood had ravaged camp. He went over to his den, gathering some reeds to patch the hole in it.
Shellstream and Troutfang began working on rebuilding the dens.
Icepath noticed how small the fresh-kill pile was, turning towards the entrance of camp to hunt.

Diamondheart had decided to join Icepath to get prey, Brookeheart staying in camp to use his large body for heavy moving. He hummed while he worked, knowing later today he would have guard duty at Sunningrocks.

"How's it been going?" Icepath asked as she walked to the river. "As deputy, I mean. Is it difficult? With all this stuff happening, is it stressful?"

"It's a new experience...stressful, not as much as I thought it would be if I must be honest...probably because the clan is so good at knowing just what to do. We're all close...and we organize so well." Diamondheart admitted lightly, a calm smile on his face as he settled himself down to fish.
"The harder part will be leading the battles...I assume Sunningrocks will be a battle I will get to lead...it'll be a true experience." Diamondheart nodded.

Icepath nodded. "I like to think that I could be deputy one day." She paused. "Not under conditions that would have you injured or worse, of course." she ducked her head, sitting down to fish as well. "That or my brother, Brookheart... but it all depends on destiny, I guess."

"Yes...to be honest I actually expected it to be you or Brookeheart that Starclan would favor...you two are highly respected warriors with alot of experience. I'm still rather young...but I hope I've been serving you all justice. It is...an incredible privilege to stand as a deputy..." Diamondheart nodded, grunting as he suddenly hooked in a fish.

"Well, like you, I'm still training an apprentice." Icepath nodded at his catch. "Risingpaw. They're almost ready, and Hopepaw too." She fished up a small minnow. "Surely it won't take long to train Thawpaw?"

"At this rate, it probably won't. He's a very skilled tom, very good at following through in training. I like being a mentor." Diamondheart smiled fondly as he thought of his apprentice. Thawpaw was doing amazingly so far.

(Stormheart finished his Vole, and began to walk out of camp but then he felt as if he was knocked down by a badger.("Oh Starclan..." He thought in terror ("I forgot all about the starving Raiders!...Its been almost a moon now, what if they are all dead?") he began to shake in panic ("I need to ask Earthstar as soon as I can, how could this happen?") He searched around the camp for his leader.

Earthstar nodded. "Sure." He began weaving the reeds in the hole.
"Doesn't everyone?" Icepath joked. "I enjoy it too... it feels great, training the next generation of warriors."

(Stormheart had searched the camp and he couldn't find him anywhere. Without pausing to think he bolted out the entrence and down the path towards the River.

Frostlake nodded in solemn agreement, "I'm glad that its over and that we can begin to rebuild." She looked back at Earthstar, "I know we can rebuild stronger than before."

"Of course." Earthstar nodded. "We survived the first flood... we can survive any that come at us." He looked at Frostlake. "I'm glad we didn't lose any more than we did..." he murmured, thinking of how awful it would be if Frostlake had died saving him.

Wiltedwillow was fixing one of the dens, her large paws covered in mud as she reinforced the walls and filled in holes. Weaving reeds and grasses into the mud and other strands of reeds.

(Stormheart raced along the border, but still he saw nobody. As he passed by the Skyclan border he stopped panting. "Its no use!" he thought out loud "even if I do tell Earthstar, she probably wouldn't want to help a group of Kitty-pet fighting rouges camping out in the hills...Let alone believe me." Stormheart collapsed on the sandy ground with a sigh, but then suddenly he had an idea "Maybe, if I cant tell Earthstar. I could travel to the Raiders camp!" He knew the journey would be dangerous , but it was a risk he had to take. He would leave at Moonhigh...

"I'm the one that should be thankful," Earthstar meowed. "You saved me from visiting StarClan again." He realized what he had said, remembering that Frostlake didn't know that he lost a life.

Frostlake blinked in surprise, "Again?" She repeated, "Do you mean..." She trailed off almost scared to say, "Earthstar did you..."

Earthstar nodded. "Yes, in Twolegplace. I didn't tell anyone... I didn't want them to know how dangerous the trek really was." He only told those who needed to know most, like Diamondheart and the medicine cats. The senior warriors were next... but Frostlake first.

(Stormheart entered the Riverclan camp, many Warriors were still hard at work at rebuilding the dens. He walked over to the Fresh-Kill pile and sat down.
