"Absolutely not." Grace replied bluntly with a scowl. Continuing along down the street before turning onto a different on that led uphill and out of the town. The view of the harbor was beautiful the ginger was in no mood to admire it, now she was solely focusing at the task at hand.
( Glad I'm not the only one cx )

James sighed and shook his head. This women was moving quickly and he was actually struggling to keep up. But he was not going to be ditched in Jersey, he would get lost. He looked at the harbor veiw and slowed down, it was beautiful. James snapped out of his trance when he realized Grace was far ahead of him. "Slow down will you!" He said, out of breath as he caught up with her.
(Yep xD)

"No, you keep up." Grace called back. But she did stop for a moment so he could catch up. Her green gaze momentarily running over the beautiful country side with a castle near the harbor, while it looked beautiful it did remind her of Ireland. So she started walking again, they should be approaching the place she was looking for soon.
( So should we do the whole beat up crew member thing? cx )

James sighed and shook his head. But he wouldn't bother argueing with her about anything. She probably wasn't in the mood for any of it and most of their argueing turned verbally and on occasion, physically violent. It probably wouldn't be best to showcase that in public. James followed after her much like a lost puppy, looking around and studying the city as he went.
(I think I'd be a good idea xD add a bit of drama)

Grace broke into a run when there was no one around but James and they were pretty much in the outskirts of the city, it was considered unladylike to be running in a dress... Seeing as women were supposed to wear dresses running was probably the only unladylike part. Finally she slowed down after approaching a grand house, it sat on the perfect spot overlooking the sea and much of the city. Obviously from the clean architecture it probably belong to someone with a decent amount of money and status. With no hesitation Grace walked up the cobble entrance until she reach the door and gave it a few hearty knocks.
( Alright we shall do it then! cx Also do you like my incredibly vague description? )

James was a bit surprised when she broke into a fast run. He huffed and quickly jogged after her to avoid being left. As they approached the building, he slowed and looked at it. It seemed nice, almost reminded him of the house he used to live in when he was younger. Before he'd gone to sea. James slowly walked up the steps behind Grace, awkwardly clearing his throat, "So, is this-person- expecting you?" He asked, archign an eyebrow as they waited.
(XD The description was beautiful)

When no one responded Grace looked back at James. "I don't think so? But I have been wrong in the past, they are incredibly good at keeping track of people." She replied with a shrug, she had shown up her before and they had been expecting her. So it was hard to be sure. Lightly tapping her foot as she waited, when nothing happen she went to knock again. The moment her fist made contact the heavy wooden door opened on it's own which seemed to momentarily spook the ginger. Narrowing her eyes in both concern and curiosity upon realizing that there was indeed no one there and her knock opened the door leaving the view of inside, things were littered across the floor, vases were shattered. "This is not normal." Grace concluded before letting herself inside to further inspect the mess.
( Leaves more to the imagination. )

James frowned. This 'man' was not very dependable in his opinion. However he wasn't going to open his mouth. He was in enough trouble already. His frown deepened as the door slowly creaked open. His gaze narrowed at the mess screwn about the floor. He gently pushed the door further open as he stepped in behind Grace. Once he'd cleared the door, he slowly closed it behind them and set the latch. Then he turned to exaime the house. It looked disasterious. "What in the hell happened in this bloody house?" He said rather bluntly.
(Very true)

"That's what I'm going to find out." Grace answered quietly in a equally blunt tone, pulling a knife out of her cloak as she tiptoed across the floor. This all seemed wrong, every time she had been there everything had been neat. Not so much as a speck of dust could be found, but now it looked like someone had ransacked the place... Wait. Once again the ginger took off as fast as she could without making much noise. Moving from room to room and quickly taking note of them, not a single person was to be found. Finally she slowed down at the base of a set of stairs that led to what she knew to be bedrooms and a study. Sighing Grace shook her head before heading up them, this was making her incredibly nervous with her heart bounding in her chest and adrenaline seeming to kick in. Reaching the top of the stairs there was once again everything was a mess, the expensive rugs were torn to shreds, and a single door was utterly destroyed just to the left. That door had led to a expansive study that had once had maps, books and scrolls stored everywhere depending on their purpose. So naturally this seemed like the first room to be searched. Grace uneasily entered with the knife still in hand, kicking some debris out of the way as she approached a heavy desk that appeared to have been pushed over on top of something. Silently she walked around it until she saw a arm sticking out from underneath. "James!" She shouted, seeming rather alarmed. "Come here and help me."
( This is longer then normal but I wanted to cut to the chase. )

James looked at the mess at his feet. This man did not keep his house organized. Then again this didn't look like an accident or just a normally messy house. He watched Grace move around rooms and explored just the main room as she moved around. This was a trange house, but it was nice. He wouldn't mind living in a house similar to this one. James jumped a bit at Grace's alarmed shout. He quickly waded through the mess and jogged up the stairs. Poking his head into the study, his mouth formed an 'O' "Quite a mess this man's got here." He mumbled to himself as he carefully moved over beside Grace. Only then did his eyes land on the arm. "Bloody hell." He cursed lowly, quickly reaching to move the desk aside.

Grace nodded quietly before also going to move the desk, huffing as they managed to move it aside. Jumping in alarm when she saw the person who had been trapped underneath and taking a few steps back, her eyes widening in surprise. It definitely not who she had been looking for. The person who had been stuck under the desk was a boy that appeared to be around 17 years of age, also he looked like someone had beaten the hell out of him. But she recognized him as one of the boys who was a part of her crew who was a close friend of her brother's despite. Grace move back closer, kneeling beside the boy and put two fingers against his neck to feel for a pulse since there didn't appear to be enough blood for him to have bled out. Sighing in relief when she could feel a strong heartbeat that was quickly accompanied breathing. "Well he isn't dead..." She muttered shaking her head and stepping back again, murmuring softly in Irish. The ginger was incredibly confused and shocked by this discovery, almost feeling scared and it was incredibly obvious.

(Yes, I'm sorry. I've been trying to write in my books and whenever I get on one of my other roleplays is very active so I have to keep up with it or be left behind and I haven't had much time to reply to any of my other roleplays.)
James grunted as they moved the desk and he looked at the unconsicous boy with curiousity. "Was this your...contact?" He asked, studying the beaten body. He certainly did not look like any kind of contact. When she anncounced he wasn't dead, James stepped forward. It would be easier to give the boy medical attention of he was in a more open area. James grabbed underneath the boys arms and lifted him up as gently as he could. He slowly moved back a couple of steps and kicked away the books on the floor until he'd cleared a nice sized space on the floor. James lowered the boy and tried to lay him into a comfortablt position of the floor. He looked up at Grace, "What now?"

( Okay cx I just wanted to be sure. )
Grace wasn't entirely sure what to do herself with the discovery of the boy trapped under the desk. "No, he isn't. But I know who he is." She replied stiffly, if they could get him to wake up she might be even better then her intended contact. Carefully watching as James moved the boy, her green eyes narrowed in concern. "Hang on I'll be back in a second, you watch him." She instructed before turning and walking out of the office over the broken door remains. Grace was familiar with the house so hopefully she could find some kind of medical supplies since getting other people involved might not be the greatest idea.

James frowned a bit as she suddenly scurried away. He looked down at the unconsious boy, "How do I watch a half dead boy?" He muttered sarcastically to himself, "its not like he's going anywhere.." James took his free time and cleared himself a spot and flopped down on the floor, looking at the boy. Scratching the back of his neck, he studied the motionless body, wondering what could have happened to the by. He obviously wasn't Grace's contact so why beat him so horribly?

After a couple minutes Grace returned having found some clean water and rags, kneeling on the floor beside the boy before pouring some water on the rag and gently wiping away the blood and grim on his face. While he was beaten up it didn't seem like he had any major cuts or open wounds. Bets were that he got clubbed upside the head or knocked out when the desk ended up on top of him. "Could you give me a hand?" Grace asked while looking back at James. "Just to clean the blood off, I'm going to have to wait for him to wake up."

James waited for a bit and when Grace finally came back he simply sat back and watched. She seemed to know the bo and yet he wasn't her contact. James was pulled from his thoughts when she asked for his help. He opened his mouth, but simply nodded and moved forward. He moved around her and grabbed a few rags. Then he moved back to the boy's face and began trying to lightly wipe the blood from his face. "How long do you think it'll take him to wake up?" He asked with a small frown.

Grace was doing her best to gently wipe the blood off. She was incredibly stressed by this situation because for starters; he shouldn't be there. The boy was supposed to be on her main ship, not here in Jersey. Realizing that James had said something she looked up. "Hm? Oh, probably not long if just doing this doesn't wake him. But it looks like he was just stuck under there and I'd bet he'd been down there since before dawn because who would be dumb enough to break into a house like this during the day." She answered. Sure enough right after she said that the boy's arm seemed to move away on his own. So Grace promptly kept wiping off his other arm and face to see if he would wake up.

James nodded at her answer. She seemed pretty bothered by something. Maybe it was just the fact the boy was here and her contact wasn't. James couldn't put his finger on it, but it made him uneasy. His gaze focused back on the boy as he seemed to start moving. James sighed as he continued to use the wet rag to wip off the boy's face. "It would've been much easier to just splash a bucket of cold water on him. He'd be up real quick." James said with slight humor. That's the way he always woke up his crew when he had to. It always worked on them, and those men could sleep like a dead man buried for seven years.

Grace shook her head. "It looks like he's been knocked out, not sleeping. It wouldn't work, I've tired stuff like that in the past but an unconscious man doesn't move." She explained, the ginger wasn't finding this very funny. Seeing the boy move both arm and groan she stood up, taking a step back to watch him better. The boy's mouth opened and his hand went to his head. A soft "What the hell." escaped him in a accent that was similar to the one that Matthias had. A small smile flickered across Grace's face. "Nice to see that you aren't dead, Philippe."
The boy-Philippe- opened his eyes and looked around, once he spotted Grace he weakly scowled. "Rude," He muttered. Opening his eyes again and trying to sit up. "I thought that you were supposed to be dead, and who is this joker?" He asked bluntly looking at James. Despite his words he had an incredibly relived look that replaced the scowl.

James sat back as the boy loked around. He frowned a bit as Grace seemed to know the boy. He was an old friend maybe? But he looked a little to young for that. James arched an eyebrow and gave the boy a rather defiant look. "Joker?" He said, bluntly, looking from the boy to Grace. And then back again.

Grace glanced at James, realizing that he was probably confused and had no idea who the boy was. "Okay, Philippe this is James, James this is Philippe. Who happens to be one of the younger members of my personal crew and my contact's son." She explained quickly. Needing the boy to recover a little more before she could ask questions which were piling up by the seconds.
Philippe scowled again at them. "James? Well aren't you obviously English." He commented, seeing as James was an incredibly popular name in the English community. Successfully sitting up only to make an odd choking noise at the sight of the ruins the room was left in. "I-I... Father is going to be livid! Here aid me, I need to see this mess." He almost ordered. Getting an eye roll from Grace as she quickly helped the boy to his feet. Once Philippe was on his feet he took a few shaky steps before quickly making his way across the room to assess the damage, that was a nice thing about being part of a pirate crew; you learned how to pull yourself back together. He seemed to be making a bigger mess as he appeared to be looking for things. Letting out what sounded a bit like a somehow soft scream of horror when he couldn't find what he was looking for. "Excuse me but I need to go look around some more." He excused before quickly exiting the room and cursing violently in an assortment of languages
( He's gonna fall down the stairs if he isn't careful. ) ( Also nice to see you! cx Are you busy with school lately? )

James held back a short glare and a sharp comment at the boys rather blunt statement about him. James brushed himself off and didn't bother to help the boy off the floor as Grace did. James crossed his arms as the boy left the room seeming quite flustered. He looked at Grace. "'Well aren't you obviously English'." He quoted, immitating the bys voices in a rather childish manner. James looked at the empty doorway, "Where do you find these bloody lunatics?" He asked with a small, exaggerated wave of wonder.
(Lol James would probably stand back and try not to laugh xD) (Yes, and I've started a relationship so it's hard to make time for him and school and then get on here and answer all my roleplays. I'm very sorry for my absense. I've been trying to get myself to get on, but I've also been attampting to write and its just a big hot mess)

Grace watched the boy go before looking over at James with an amused smile. "It's a long story," She waved off, it really was an incredibly long and complicated story if you went into detail. "I wouldn't be to bothered by him if I were you. He's actually very English himself but claims otherwise if you mention it." She explained with an eye roll and a amused huff. The boy was a funny if you knew and understood him, if not he came off as rude and annoying. Then a loud tumbling noise came from the stairs and Grace jumped to her feet, running out of the office.
Philippe looked somewhat alarmed, sitting at the bottom of the stairs he just fell down. Staring at the wreckage that was the main floor with wide brown eyes. It was obvious he was still kind of light headed.
( cx Good luck, that sounds like a lot of stuff to deal with all at once. )

James listened to Grace, with a strong frown. He wasn't a big fan of the boy already. Grace seemed amused, but James himself was simply insulted. He wasn't exactly a big Englishman himself, he stole from the English frequently. But the sarcasm still irriated an old wound. His eyebrows shot upward at the loud thumping from the stairs. Moving a bit slower the Grace, he moved to the stairs and his lips tightened at the stunned boy sitting on the bottom of the stairs. James tried to hold back his laughter, but depsite his effort a small chuckle escaped his lips. The wide-eyed boy was quite a sight on the stairs, he couldn't help but find it amusing.
(Yea and my sister hates him for absolutely no reason so she's always trying to find something that we're doing wrong and then she'll text my mom about it to try and get me in trouble. It's all frustrating. But I'm surviving xD)

Grace stopped at the top of the stairs and looked down at the boy, shaking her head in amusement. Unfortunately when James chuckled she started laughing as if this was the funniest thing she had seen in a long time. Using one hand to hold onto the railing at the top of the stairs and the other to clutch her sides. This went on for a couple moments before she stopped to breath and wipe tears out of her eyes. Oh this was just too funny. "Did you have a nice ride down?" She asked with an edge of amused sarcasm.
Philippe managed to get to his feet and glared back up at them in annoyance. "Yes it was most wonderful," He retorted. Folding his arms. "If you don't mind me asking: why are you here?" He asked sharply, obviously not liking how amused they were by his pain.
Grace raised an eyebrow at Philippe's question, well now they could finally get somewhere. Besides his attitude needed to be checked. "I don't mind at all, but I that question for you ask well and I think it would be best for you to answer first. If I'm remembering correctly you were not on the list of men that were supposed to get off the Banshee... So you aren't supposed to be here." She stated bluntly. Her hand moving to where her knife was at just to make her point a little clearer.
( Is he cute? cx )

James couldn’t hold back his laughter and, in moments, joined in with Grace. His shoulders shook and he took a big gasp of breath as he slowed his chuckles. As he wiped the tears from his eyes, he listened to their conversation. James face changed rather quickly when he boy suddenly seemed suspicious. James himself had experience with crew members like this one. It normally didn’t end well for the sailor. Even so, he wasn’t sure how Grace dealt with these things. It would be interesting. Interesting indeed. “Banshee? Why didn’t I think of that one?” He muttered to himself as Grace mentioned the name. It was a fine name for a ship. Or at least he assumed it was a ship she was speaking of.
(Very XD and he always makes sure to remind me that I’m beautiful and adorable. He’s just the sweetest thing on earth xD)

Philippe's face went pale when he realized that he had a lot of explaining to do and his captain was literally one of the most terrifying people he knew, and he happened to know a lot of people. There was no lying or talking his way out of this. Almost instantly he dropped to his knees, interlaced his fingers together and began to speak... In French for a couple seconds before catching himself and switching back to English. "I didn't anything I assure you and nor did I abandon my post, Magnus gave myself, the twins, Navya and Fell orders to leave." He quickly explained. "And I have essentially no idea what exactly went on with the ships or where they are going but it doesn't look good and I had no part in it, I promise." The boy spoke incredibly fast out of fear for his life. His heart bounding in his chest as he kept looking downwards.
Grace glanced back at James hearing him mutter something, then switched her attention back to the boy and walked about halfway down the stairs. In the process she took out her knife so it was now visible. It was surprising how quickly the mood had shifted but this was business. Raising her eyebrows in surprise when he listed of names. "Did you say that Fell got off as well?" She asked curiously, leaning against the railing. Smiling when she got a nod in response from Philippe accompanied with: "He knows a lot more about this whole mess then I do." Fell had an incredibly interesting name but he had the continually changing position of first or second mate depending who was on the ship because he refused to be captain of another ship. That was someone she could probably trust. "Is he home?" Once again getting a nod she looked back at James. "How do you feel about taking a look at France? If the weather is favorable we'd be there before night fall if we left soon." She asked.
( Aw <3 He sounds so nice. )

James was surprised at the sudden shift of tension in the room. But he was no stranger to it and leaned causually against the rail to observe. All the names listed off by the boy made no sense to James, but clearly they eant something to Grace. He listened with slight interest, but it was difficult for him to listen to a conversation that he didn't understand. When Grace turned back to him, he snapped himself back into focus and gave a crooked grin. "France sounds quite pleasurable. I heard they've got quite the ale concoction." He said sarcastically as he pushed off the rail and straightened. "If your ready, I'll go get the crew back together now and make weather assesments." He said in a buisness-like tone.
(He's pretty great, I'm very happy with him ^.^)

A small smile crossed Grace's face at James' response, that was as good of an answer as she could get. But seeing as Jersey wasn't working out France seemed to be the place to be. "That would be excellent, thank you." She nodded, glancing back at Philippe who was still kneeling. Her green gaze narrowing thoughtfully. Then she stepped up the stairs closer to James so the boy wouldn't over hear. "I'm going to stay here while you do that, I need to figure out what to do with him since he is technically under my watch at is home alone." She explained quietly, rocking on the balls of her feet. "I know you probably won't like it but I might need to bring him along. If it comes to that we could pretend he is a short term prisoner or something to keep suspicions down." Grace suggested with a shrug.
( Well I'm happy for you c: )
