Grace once again shrugged. "Didn't I say show me around? Not take me to the place that I wish to go to." She pointed out, acting calm but with a teasing edge in voice. "But obviously that would take far too long as you would get lost." She concluded, then began to walk off again but this time at a much faster pace.

James quickly walked after her, his brow bent in defiance. "I would not!" He protested as he appeared beside her. "But if you've been here plenty of times what is the point in showing you around? You obviously know where everything is." He said simply, crossing his arms.

"I don't know, because you can? And you seem to believe that you have been here before and I just wanted to be sure." Grace replied dryly. Keeping her distance from the people wandering about the streets as well, the people of Jersey spoke about three different languages and the only one she could speak was English which made it tricky to communicate at times so keeping to ones self seemed wise; unless you were lost.

James sighed and wrinkled his nose. "Well I can show you around. If that would prove that I've been here before." He said stiffly. He cast a careful gaze around him, trying to see if he would identify any buildings just by looking at them. He did in fact identify the real bakery. "We can start at the bakery if you'd like."

Grace did her best to conceal her smirk as she shrugged. "Whatever you like," She responded, trying to not appear nearly as amused as she was feeling. "This is your show after all." Oh it was so hard to not laugh when she knew full well that he had probably never been here before, or at least long enough to figure out where anything was.

James nodded and looked away to hide is very desperate expression. Curse his ego! He sighed, "Well let's start at the bakery. My stomachs got a fancy for......" He trailed off before quickly finishing, "one of those wonderful rolls." He finsihed casually, strolling toward the bakery whilst his eyes darted about the town for another place to stop.

Grace quietly eyed James as she followed him in the direction of the bakery, this was bound to be interesting for the next few minutes. After that she'd probably have to cut their adventure around Jersey short so she could actually get the things done that she needed too.
( These two xD )

James stopped in front of the bakery and pulled open the door holding it open for Grace in a gentlemen like gesture. However he didn't do it to be polite. "Welcome to....." He used his extra few seconds at the door to spot a sign dangling in front of the building, "The Silver Apple Bakery!" James said cheerfully. But as he closed the door he gave a soft sigh of relief under his breath.
(James is going to get them so lost xD)

Grace was digging deep into her murderous pirate side as she struggled to keep a straight face, merely nodding to James before walking inside with a quick roll of her eyes before glancing back at him. "So how many times have you been here before?" She asked softly to avoid catching the attention of other people inside the bakery.
( Well so long as no one thinks they are a couple I'm sure they'll be fine cx )

James sighed and looked around the place as though it was a cozy home he was coming back to. In reality, he was looking out the windows for another place to stop. Was that an inn? It looked like it, two stories, rather tall and long. They could stop there next. He stopped himself short of hitting Grace, having not been paying attention. He looked over her shoulder at the rest of the shop before replying. "Oh, hundreds of times." James said dismissively, trying to get off the topic of him knowing his way around Jersey. "Would you like to get something?" He asked casually, looking over at her.
(Oh, that would be disasterious. Because James would claim they were to tease her about it xD)

Grace once again shrugged. "I don't know, would you?" She asked, turning the attention back to him again. In complete honesty she had been to this exact bakery a few times, in her opinion they weren't the best but then again nothing was really that great unless it came from Ireland or occasionally Spain.
( We should do it then cx )

James shrugged, "I just had a big bowl of that disastrous soup from the ship. Sadly, I am not in an eating mood." He said in a mono-tone, his lips twisting into a disgusted frown. Grace was right, that wonderful beef soup had gotten old. Fast. He sighed, "Perhaps later? Shall we continue?" He asked, gesturing toward the door.
(I'm definitly up for it xD)

"See I told you so, and also yes." Grace answered quickly with a smug smile, then turned to the door and carefully opened it and exited without so much as another word, figuring it wasn't the greatest of an idea for them to hang around the bakery if they weren't going to buy anything.
( We should do it then cx )

James nodded and turned away. He didn’t have any smart remark to her being right. Mostly because she was. But he also was too busy trying to look around them. He moved to the right, “Onto the Hearth Inn shall we? We can look around a bit inside. “ He said good naturedly, “It’s nice and cozy.” He added to make himself sound more convincing.

"Whatever you want Captain." Grace responded lightly, shaking her head and narrowing her eyes a little as she glanced around the street to kind whatever he was talking about. "Oh that inn." She muttered softly once she located it, sure the ginger had been inside but not ever stayed there given the choice as most inns seemed to be on the messy side.

James nodded and moved toward the inn. He opened the door and was immediatly hit with the scent of ale and smoke. Warm are rushed from the inside as well, quickly followed by the drifting scent of fried sausage. James took a deep breath and stepped inside, pushing the door lightly so Grace had enough room to slip in beside him. He looked around, it was a decent place. Behind a curtain blocked entrance, sounds of cheering came from behind it and James guessed that's where the drinks and possibly the sausage scent was coming from. In front of them was a registry desk with a rather proper looking man standing behind the desk.

Grace silently waked in beside James, glancing around to get a good look of the inn to refresh her memory the what it looked like. Not only did it appear cleaner then most inns but it also smelt wonderful to her, but then again she hadn't eaten anything that morning so the scent of the sausages almost made her mouth water but the thought of the task she was delaying seemed to dampen her interest.

(Sorry I poofed! I got grounded for a week :/)
James sighed and looked around. If they planned on staying here long then he might think about renting a room here. It wasn't terrible. The man at the desk suddenly spoke up, startling James a bit. "Sir?" The man asked. James looked in his direction, "Yes?" James answered flatly. "Would you like to rent a room for yourself and your lady?" The man said, reaching for the ink and quill on the desk. Jame opened his mouth to correct the man, but a slow smirk twisted his lips. He looked down at Grace, "Well dovey, would you like to rent a room here? It's all up to you love." He said in a honey sweet voice, but his eyes twinkled slyly.

( I noticed cx welcome back! )
Grace turned her attention back to the man at the desk, she would have attempted to correct him but it had caught her off guard and before she could do anything James was talking. Glancing at him with a look of absolute fury that she was trying to contain, fortunately she masked her feelings with a look of absolute adoration and glanced back at man. "Oh sorry sir, we were just looking around; you see we haven't been to Jersey before." Grace's voice seemed unnaturally meek, gentle and heavily English. Her attention turning back to James with a tight smile. "Dear we should be going now." She stated in a silky voice, gesturing to the door. The sooner she could drop this stupid act the better.

(Sorry for my absense, I've been busy with life and my slow typing computer making roleplaying more difficult.)
James watched her facial expression. Perhaps it was dangerous to play with the moment. But his childlike personality took hold of him. James stepped close to her and wrapped an arm tightly around her waist, "Are you sure darling? Might need a room later." He said at first with a bright smile, but then glanced sideways at her and winked slyly.

( It's totally fine! I can understand being slow this time of the year. )
Grace was absolutely flustered, her cheeks taking on a dark pink in color. She knew that to act as if they weren't a couple after acting like it was a bad idea as they could be seen as thieves, but the ginger could not stand being touched. Still keeping her emotions as masked as possible with a small smile she moved her hand on top of it as if she were holding in a way, then she lightly dug her nails into James' hand. "Perhaps later, my parents will probably be furious if we keep them waiting any longer." She replied softly, flashing him a small glare.

(Thanks for understanding. I know a couple of people I roleplay with that are kind of annoyed at my random disappearances.)
James knew it was foolish to press further, but he gave a small smile. He would not let this go anytime soon. He flinched as her nails dug into his hand. And boy did that women have nails. James sucked in a deep breath through his nose and flashed the man at the desk a tight smile. "Perhaps another time then. I'm sure we'll need it." James said, wrapping both arms around Grace and turning her around. "I do believe you left marks." He whispered.

( You're welcome c: I understand that a lot of people are busy with the holidays and shopping. I'd be busier too if I wasn't procrastinating. )
Grace also gave the man a small apologetic smile. Tensing when James put both of his arm on her, oh she was going to make him pay for this one way or another. "Good." She growled quietly, maintaining her grip on his hand. Doing her best to lead him back in the direction of the door. The sooner they were out of there the better.

James winced a bit, but his face lit up in a sly grin. He opened the door for Grace and slowly walked out beside her. "Well, darling, where to next?" (Sorry it's so short, I'm on mobile)

Once they were out and away from the inn Grace let go of James' hand and slammed her hands into his chest forcefully to move him away from her. "Don't you ever do that again!" She growled in a thick Irish accent, a look of fury spread across her face before turning and treading away up the street.
( Mobile sucks. )

James stumbled back and chuckled a bit, "Oh come on, it was fun!" He shouted after her. "Why are you so stiff? Can't you have a little fun once in awhile?" He said, waving his hands in an exasperated effect.
(It really does)

"I can have plenty of fun!" Grace shouted back. Her hands curling into fists as she kept walking up the street, the time for messing around was over. Now she needed to find the person she had come looking for, with or without James.
( I would suggest burning it but people need it. Also I apologize for my short reply. )

James rolled his eyes and mumbled, "Doesn't sound like it." He muttered and shook his head. He crossed his arms and hurried after her, quite thankful that he had long legs. His playful mood had worn off with her reaction and he pursed his lips and looked around. Maybe just one more question. "So no more tour then?" He said lightly.
(Yea xD and that's okay, my replies have been short as well.)
