(You got a point there. XD)
Another groan, this time louder and longer than the first, but at least this time Parker opened his eyes. "Remind me again why I thought this would be better than sleeping in my own hammock," he muttered, reaching up to rub his eyes as he rolled over onto his back for a moment.
~*~*~
(No, they didn't mention him. You're good. XD)
So he had overheard some of their conversations yesterday. "Well, if and when we have to leave, you'll still have my parents," Anya started. "Or, if you have any family left in the Rebel camp, I guess you could come along with us. If what you said about Nick is true, I'm sure I'll need to go talk with the people he was with since I was his secret mission and all."

Evaleigh gladly accepted the shirts. "Nice to meet you, Emma. Let me try these on real quick then I'll be right out with my shirt." She said then ducked back into the bathroom. Evaleigh looked through the shirt sizes and picked whichever one looked like it would fit the best. It was still a little loose fitting but it would work. She then grabbed her moist shirt out of the sink and Beau's leash before exiting
"Here's my shirt. I washed out what I could, but there is still an outline. It might be okay" She traced her finger around the area the blood had been, a rusty ring was left from where the blood had started to dry and set into the fabric. "Oh, and thanks for letting me have this. I'll give these back to you" She motioned to the clothing she had on now before extended an arm out that was holding the other shirts Emma had offered.
"So, is this you and Mathias' house? It's very cute." She commented, switching off the light before stepping out of the bathroom. Her hair was now out of the braid and hung around her shoulders minus a few strands Evaleigh had missed when changing that were trapped under the shirt.

"Then why didn't you start with that?" Parker asked. A hand lifted to hook around the back of Sol's neck and bring him closer for another kiss. If he was going to wake up this early, he was going to get something good from it.
~*~*~
Anya opened her mouth to reply, but Seth had chosen that moment to enter the room. She glanced between the two, knowing that this was a conversation they would have to figure out. However, tonight wasn't the night to do it. "Look, it's getting late, and we have an early start in the morning. No one is going anywhere for a long while. So why don't we just get some rest, and we'll figure all this out later, hm?" She suggested. "Otherwise, you won't have time for that story you were wanting."

Emma nodded and left the girl to change in peace. While she waited, she traveled down the hall to see how Dallas was faring, and to remind Stitch that he didn't have to be so short with him. She knew that the doctor wasn't actually mad with him, but he could put on a show. By the time was headed back towards the bathroom, Evaleigh had opened the door and walking out.
She smiled and took the shirt. "Good, I think there won't be any trouble getting this looking like new," she said. "Follow me. I was just finishing up breakfast. You can eat you something while you wait for your shirt to wash." She lead the way back towards the kitchen.
"Well, our names are on the deed, but this house belongs to all of us here," Emma answered. "Though I did have more say in the décor, so I'll thank you for that compliment.

Parker let his arm fall back to his stomach with a sigh. "Fine, I'm up," he muttered, feigning more reluctance than he felt. He was no stranger to getting up early. Sure, it was earlier than normal, at least by a whole ten minutes! But he was fine. Tossing off the covers, the man rolled out of bed, took a second to stretch, then went to find the clothes he had on yesterday. There would be no need to break into his new stash for a few days yet, but he did have his new coat. That he had worn out of the store as soon as they had bought it.
~*~*~
Anya returned the hug tightly. "You're welcome, Aidan," she returned. Then let him go so she could get up. "I'm going to go change. I'll be back in a second." She grabbed her sleep clothes from a dresser drawer and exited the room.

Beckham didn't even blink when he saw Parker emerge from the captain's rooms, wearing a new coat. It was not his business who the captain chose to spend his time with or his money on. "Good morning," he returned. He nodded where Sol was already hard at work getting the ship ready for departure. "You can start by helping the captain. He'll let you know what needs doing."
~ • ~ • ~ Seth looked up when Anya returned but didn't falter in his storytelling. Aidan was still wide awake, listening attentively, though his whole body had relaxed and was slowly pulling him toward sleep.
~ • ~ • ~ Morgan nodded. It was all he could do. Words of understanding would not come, for while he did understand he wished he didn't. He lived with death every day. People came and went from the House he had called home for years, many of them assassins he had spoken to on a daily basis. His best friend was one of them, forced into a life that left death and destruction in his wake. His own magic had the power to bring death with little more than a thought. And he himself had taken a life less than a week ago. Without even realizing it he had turned the Rebel association in his mind into the exact opposite of Genevieve and her Order. He hadn't been wrong in some ways, but in many he had been naïve. Ian was right. This was war, and it would be impossible to save everyone.
( Okay, I have two ideas for what happens next. Which would you prefer: someone bursting into the tent to tell Lawrence about a fight breaking out between Callum and the werecats, or… someone bursting into the tent to tell him that the Rebel Leader has arrived, unexpectedly and ahead of schedule? 😈 )

Sol smiled without turning away from what he was doing. (Aaaand I still know nothing about sailing, so let's pretend he told Parker what to do. xD)
~ • ~ • ~ As Aidan slipped closer and closer to sleep, Seth's tone slowly changed. He started with his Storytelling Voice — dramatic, compelling, expressive. He made you feel like you were really there in the world he created with nothing but his voice. But as Aidan got sleepier, his tone eased into something more soothing, almost melodic. As the story drew to a close and Aidan's lids began to droop, Seth kept talking but carefully eased off the bed and walked slowly backward to his own, hitting the light on his way. By the time he got there, the story was done and Aidan was out like a light.
~ • ~ • ~ ( Okay. xD )
Morgan finally turned away from the bed. He was about to ask Lawrence if he could leave now when a shout came from outside. Morgan spun, just as a frazzled young messenger burst into the tent.
"General!" (I think? What is his rank do you think? xD) "Come quick! There's a fight in the quad! The werecats, they were attacked. Or maybe they did the attacking. I don't know, but it's bad!"

(Lol, good enough for me.)
Parker nodded as he was given his orders. With a task to do, he transitioned back into the more confident version of him. The version that wasn'tstaratruck every time Sol looked his way. Work always had that affect. The long days in the field had a way of quelling restless thoughts until the day was over. Ship work had the same result. Granted, he wasn't as great or efficient doing task on the boat like the experience sailors but he threw himself into the work and strove to do it right.
~•~•~
Anya, seeing Aidan had lost the fight to stay awake, looked over at Seth. "You need to try and sleep too," She whispered just loud enough for him to hear. She probably didn't need to tell him that but she worried that he might keep homselfbup worrying over things.
~•~•~
"Good then you are dismissed. But I expect you to report to the battle master in the morning, bright and early," Lawrence said. When had just spared Gareth a last look, ready to make his own leave, when the messenger burst into the tent.
(Captain but close. XD ) Hearingbthe news, the spy master sighed heavily and cursed. "Of course it is. Those little devils don't know how to have a normal conversation," he mumbled even as he was hurrying towards the exit. "Take me to them. You," he pointed to one of the healers, not having the time to call her by name, "come with us, please. We may need you."

"You are so generous. If you don't mind, I kind of was in a rush this morning to get out of my house and I forgot to eat." Evaleigh followed beside Emma. She had not realized how hungry she was until the mention of breakfast and the aroma of food hit her nose. It smelled scrumptious. "How is he doing? Dallas?" She asked, noticing that Emma had been coming from further down the hallway and motioned towards that direction. "I heard some yelling from the bathroom, so I know he's at least alive." She let out a small laugh, trying not to let the topic be too heavy.

Sol worked with Parker until the crew started filling the deck. He let one of the juniors take over what he had been doing and headed for the helm. With his crew out and working, it took no time at all for them to get the Comet ready to sail. By the time the sun was cresting the horizon, they were off, moving with speed for the open sea once more.
~ • ~ • ~ Seth sat down on the edge of his bed and nodded. "I know. I'm just not sure how successful I'll be." He carefully slid his sketchbook off the top of the pile on the bedside table. He paged through it slowly. "So do you have a favorite?" He knew he should let her sleep but he was curious. No one had ever looked through all his sketchbooks before. His work was always good, but there were still pieces he considered failures simply because they didn't quite match the image he'd had in his head. He didn't normally show those ones to anyone.
~ • ~ • ~ (You know, I wanted to say captain, but that's what Sol is so I thought I'd plan it safe and choose something I, at least, associate with army folk. xD)
Morgan hadn't been invited, but he followed Lawrence and the messenger anyway. He had a feeling he knew exactly who was picking fights with the werecats. Callum and (... damn it, what did I name that werecat, and why didn't I write it down? xD) I-something had been circling each other all week. Morgan had known even then that if ever the man was found alone by the werecat, blood would spill. It would seem he was right.
The messenger led them to the training grounds. A crowd had gathered, much like the one that had surrounded them the first time the two tomcats went at it. Morgan forced his way through it and was greeted by a shocking sight.
Callum and both werecats were in the circle, but they weren't fighting each other. Callum had a man Morgan didn't recognize pinned on the ground. The female werecat was in feline form, pacing by the man's head and hissing with every pass. Isayo (is that it? Close enough. xD) was in human form, though he was emanating an energy that was anything but human. And Callum... he was covered in blood. Morgan couldn't tell from his angle whose blood it was, but he sure hoped it wasn't Callum's, cause that was a lot of blood.
Callum seemed oblivious to it as he snarled down at the struggling man. He was yelling, calling Callum crazy, among other names. Callum let him shout, his expression coldly furious. As Morgan moved closer, he noticed that Callum's eyes were once again the green-gold of a cat, and his nails had lengthened into claws where they gripped the man's shirt. He looked rather terrifying, but the idiot beneath him didn't seem to notice. Everyone else did, which was probably why none of them had done anything to pull Callum away. That, and the werecats were clearly on his side for once, and no one wanted to go against them. Even Morgan was reluctant.

"It's no problem at all. We have a lot of ouths to feed, so there's no shortage of food," Emma said, leading the young woman back to the kitchen. Mathias was already there, helping to finish up the meal.
"Dallas will be fine," Emma replied to her comment. "He's never been one for needles and such, so he always makes a scene. Though, Stitch doesn't do much to help him there. But he's a good doctor knows what he's doing. Please, have a seat before they all get taken. When the smell reaches upstairs, you might not find one."
Parker watched as the ports grew smaller with the distance put behind them. Part of him knew that he would be staying there one day, never to feel the surge of ship as it caught wind in it's sail. A pang of loss blossomed in his chest at the thought, but he refused to dwell on it. He had a job to do. So he turned and went to find exactly what that job was.
~•~•~
"I mean, I am partial to the ones of Corrik, but I might be biased on that," Anya told him with a soft laugh. "You make it hard to choose, they're all so good. But, I think I like your first sketchbook the best."
~•~•~
(lol, truth be told he might get called general a lot from confused newbies. XD
I think it was Isayo or Isoya? I keep switching the vowels around. XD)
Lawrence arrived at the scene, and wasted no time. "What the bloody hell is going on here?" He bellowed, causing several startled observers to quickly move out of his way. If he seemed phased by the blood or the changes in Callum's appearance, he didn't show it. Instead, he mar hed right up to the boy and kicked him hard in the ribs. It was a kick that would have sent most rolling, but with Callum's grip on the other man it may just be enough to break the hold.

Evaleigh nodded and took a seat that faced towards the kitchen. Beau plopped down beside her, enjoying the coolness of the floor. "Is there anything I can help you with?" She asked while pulling her phone out of her pocket, subconsciously checking the time. She glanced at the screen and up popped two notifications that read '37 missed calls from Mom' and '5 new voicemails'. Evaleigh frowned before quickly flipping the phone face down on the table. She did not want to deal with that right now. She had told them not to call her and she did not want to hear their voices, which meant no listening to the voicemails, well not here anyway.

( Okay, this is the shortest sea voyage, so how much should we skip/not skip? )
~ • ~ • ~ Seth's brows went up. "Really? You like my doodles?" He flipped the book in his lap closed and ran a finger over the spines of the books in the stack until he found the right one. He carefully pulled it out and opened it to a random page. What he saw made him snort, and had a smile trying to form. "Gods, I haven't looked at these in so long."
~ • ~ • ~ ( Like me! xD
I'm pretty sure it's Isayo... but I might go back and check later. xD )
It did neither. With reflexes no human could possess, one hand let go of the man and snapped out, grabbing Lawrence's foot and halting it mid-kick, just inches before it could make contact. Then he gave a simple shove, sending the man reeling backward.
Morgan swore and hurried up behind him. "Callum—"
He spun. Morgan stopped. There was a feral look in Callum's eyes that slowly faded to recognition. "Stay out of this, Reilly."
"You know I can't do that." Morgan took a step closer. "What are you doing, Callum?"
His eyes glinted furiously. "Teaching a lesson."
He turned back around, and Morgan lunged. He grabbed the back of Callum's shirt and yanked as hard as he could. Callum came flying off the man. He landed on his back but immediately rolled into a crouch, claws digging into the dirt. He looked ready to pounce.
Morgan stepped into his path so he would be the only target considered. "Callum, enough. You're acting like a wild animal. What the hell is wrong with you?"
That brought Callum up short. He reeled back as if he'd been hit. He blinked rapidly, his eyes slowly returning to their natural color with each lift of his lashes. The claws retreated. And then he suddenly hissed out a pained breath, one hand lifting to his chest. Whatever he found there made him flinch.
Morgan let out a breath and hurried toward his friend. "There you are. Geez, dude. What happened?"
"I..." Callum blinked a couple more times and gave his head a hard shake.
Meanwhile, the man had gotten to his feet. He was uninjured, aside from a few scrapes and bruises on his face, plus a couple claw marks on his chest where Callum had him pinned. He clutched at the minor wounds like they were a death sentence. "I'll tell you what happened! I was just standing here minding my own business when this madman attacked me! For no reason!"
"Don't be childish, Andy," Isayo purred. He and his companion had moved well out of the way when Lawrence came stomping up. "We both know it wasn't for no reason."
The man paused, looking confused, while Callum pushed himself shakily to his feet. Morgan stood with him, holding his arm. He wasn't sure yet if it was to help him stay on his feet, or to keep him from attacking again.

"Thank you for the offer, but I think we've just about to get things covered," Mathias replied. They had made a simple meal, but one very protein forward. Eggs and bacon were piled onto two plates each, biscuits finishing in the oven, and a large helping of gravy to pour onto them.
"What would you like to drink, dear?" Emma asked Evaleigh as she walked to the fridge.
(I mean, unless you have something to do in each port, I would say we don't have to rp much. I figure it'll get repetitive after a while. When should the second storm be, though?)

"Yes, I live your doodle," Anya replied, smiling. "They show you have always been this little ball of creativity. Though, I would like to see if even you can describe exactly what you drew in some of them."
~•~•~
(Also, I have no idea how my entire last response had strikes through it. 😣 )
Lawrence stepped back as his foot was shoved, but he had plenty of experience with keeping his balance. However, the move did flare up his already fired up temper. He had drew the knife he had on his belt about the same time Morgan stepped in.
"Well, somebody better start explaining!" He shouted, hard eyes looking back and forth between the two. He pointed the knife in Callum's direction. "Let's start with you. Your part of the family Morgan brought with him, yes? What the hell do you think gives you the right to start picking fights?"

( That's true. According to the schedule I/Sol drew up, they're only going to be in the next port for one day, because there's only one person getting dropped. So we can probably skim over that entirely. As for the storm, I have it scheduled to happen after this next port. )
~ • ~ • ~ "Always been creative. No longer all that little." He flipped through a few pages. "Most of them are my take on scenes from the stories my mom used to read me, only they all feature me and my family instead of the heroes from the story. Here." He stood and crossed the space between their beds in a single step. He crouched beside her bed and showed her the book. "This is Neverland. This is the island, that's Captain Hook's ship. Mermaid Cove, the hideout. And Mom, flying with me, Cal and Cami." (Cause that's the first kids story I could think of. xD)
~ • ~ • ~ ( My best guess, you forgot to do the second [/ s] box. ^^ )
The confusion and pain vanished from Callum the instant that knife was pointed at him. He shrugged off Morgan's hand and stepped forward, blue eyes blazing. "Don't you talk to me about rights. That bastard molested my sister — something he had no right to do. When I confronted him about it, asked him about all the other women he assaulted before her, he tried to kill me. So yeah, I fought back. And if he or anyone else comes near my sister again, I'll do the same damn thing."

Anya leaned over so she could see the pictures. It also put her head on the same level as his. "Oh, okay, now that you say something, it makes more sense," she said, laughing. She reached over to point at one section of scribbles. "We thought this was a rabbit."

(Yeah... probably. XD
Cami, no! Morgan, let Cal go. He gets a free pass to end him.)
"Then you come and report him, not start fights in the middle of the camp!" Lawrence told him. While the camp wasn't the most lawful as it could be, there were still limits and punishments for those who pushed those limits. He turned his glare to Andy. "Is what he said true?"

"That is a rock," Seth said with mock indignation. There was a pause, and then he admitted, "Skull Island scared me, so I turned it into something else. It coming out looking like a rabbit was not intentional."
~ • ~ • ~ ( xD Good to know. But you needn't worry too much. Cami is a fighter, so she hit the guy where it hurts and escaped. ;D )
Callum snorted. "This," he snapped before Andy could voice the denial forming on his lips. "This is why I didn't report it. I'm an outsider, a stranger. Why would you believe me over your trusted soldier? He assaulted my sister. What the hell makes you think he's going to tell you the truth about it?"
Andy glared. "And who's to say you're not lying? You, who was picking fights on your first day here. You clearly don't need a reason to start fights."
Callum lunged toward him with a snarl, but he was drawn up short by Morgan. "Whoa there, kitty. The guy's a dumbass, but don't go proving him right."
Callum shook him off and shoved him away, but he stayed put. He pointed at the werecats. "She saw them. Saw what he tried to do to my sister, and kept him from going after her when she got away. There's a scratch on his ankle that'll prove it."

“Do you have any juice?” Evaleigh asked, turning her attention to Emma. (Still, he deserves to be roughed up a bit more. XD)
"Enough!" Lawrence snapped at the two as they bickered. He listened to the evidence that Callum gave, but he wasn't in the mood to start this kind of investigation in public. "Morgan, he's your tag along, so I expect you to keep a close eye on him until I see this solved. Take him back to his tent and keep him there. Andy, my tent, now! I'll be speaking with the werecats and the woman in question before I deal with you two. Neither of you are to do anything. Understood?"
"What kind? We have orange, apple, and grape," Emma listed. They always kept a variety of drinks in the house, but alcoholic and not. Truth be told told, it was the non-alcoholic drinks that seemed to deplete the fastest. All the grown men here drunk juice like a bunch of toddlers.

"Ooo, so many good choices. May I have orange juice please?" Evaleigh asked leaning over in her chair to run her fingers through Beau's hair. "Can I ask, what are the closest towns in this area? I just can from Howard, but I was wondering if you would recommend me someplace." She watched the couple work in the kitchen, they had to be pretty familiar with the towns if they owned this house. Or maybe not, if they lived clear out here. It was worth a shot to ask anyway.

Anya did as she had done with Aidan. She listened to Seth describe what the pictures were actually supposed to be, and once he was done she told him some of the guesses the Aidan and her had come up with during the first look through them. Some of them were clear to see the scenes he tried to depict, others, not so much.
~*~*~
"You will do what you are told, and you won't argue," Lawrence countered, meeting his stare evenly. "You're already on thin ice. While you might have acted out for a good reason now, that does not excuse the fact that we do not tolerate this kind of behavior. We have enough fights to deal with, and we don't need any breaking out without our own ranks. You will go with Morgan on your own free will, or I will have you detained by force. You're choice."
"Orange juice it is," Emma said. She grabbed the gallon of juice from the fridge and carried it over to the counter. She only bothered fixing three glasses of for now. The rest of the family could get their own when they woke up.
"Howard, you say? Quite a drive you've made without an end destination," Mathias commented. He placed the last of the food on the plates before placing some on a separate plate for Evaleigh. He took both the plate and the glass from his wife and placed it on the table in front of their guest. He glanced down and nodded to her dog. "Do you feed him from the table, or do you strictly feed him dog food?" he asked. "Just before I get into trouble giving him any bacon."

"Ah, yes. I just kind of roll with the punches sometimes. I was out looking for a little adventure, and I guess I got it, seems how I ended up here." She said watching as Mathias brought the plate and glass to the table in front of her. "Thank you, very much. And Beau can have stuff from the table, he is usually able to get whatever he likes from me." She glanced down at the white furry mound on the floor. Beau's ears popped up at the sound of his name, his eyes also aware of the plate of food that had neared him.

The two day trip from Teirm to their next port in Kuasta was swift and uneventful. The weather was beautiful and in their favor the whole trip, to the point where the crew hardly had to do anything. The Comet pretty much did all the work, letting the wind and the sea drive her continuously forward toward their destination.
Because of how little crew they needed manning the ship at any given time, the majority of the men and women ended up with a lot of free time on their hands between shifts. This resulted in a celebration of sorts that involved a lot of singing, dancing, and other merriment, as well as friendly competition between crew mates. There was no alcohol involved, but it really wasn't needed for this crew to have a good time. It was a great bonding experience, something the crew didn't expressly need, but that was good for them anyway. The crew especially loved it when Sol took part. He didn't participate in everything, and he was rarely as wild or rambunctious as the rest of his men, but the crew liked seeing him have fun and let loose a little. It reminded them that he was their friend and not just their captain.
During the off-duty celebrations, Sol never sought Parker out exactly, but he also didn't hide much when they did end up near each other. There were no public displays of affection, but it was clear to anyone who knew him that there was plenty of that going on behind closed doors — which there was, since Sol convinced Parker to spend the night in his room again. He even managed, for Parker's sake, to keep the rowdier, younger men of the crew oblivious to the fact, therefore sparing Parker the teasing over it. Of course, there was little Sol could do to stop the teasing over their "something" relationship.
The morning after their departure found Sol dragging Parker into the training room bright and early to practice. With the periodic stops, it was getting hard to keep up their practice schedule, so Sol wasn't going to miss any opportunity. He worked Parker hard, but no so hard that he couldn't participate in the celebrations.
The favorable weather had them arriving in Kuasta early. At the end of their second day of travel, the port city came into view ahead, and by midnight they were docked and ready to go ashore. Many did, to enjoy a night of drinking and women (or men, for some), but most of the older crew members just spent the night on the ship.
Like their last two stops, Sol had set aside two days for their stay in Kuasta. That plan was shot to hell before noon the next day.
The day started early for Sol, as usual. He dragged Parker to the training room again, then left him to his own devices for a few hours while he brought the rescue ashore who would be heading home from Kuasta. It was a quick errand, and then he took his time returning to the ship to stop by a few familiar places.
Everything changed when he returned to the docks.
( I can add more if you need me to, but I figured I'd give you a chance to catch up before continuing. ^^ )
~ • ~ • ~ Showing Anya his kid pictures did a lot more to improve his mood than he ever expected. Some of hers and Aidan's guesses even made him laugh, though he kept cutting them short to keep from waking Aidan. By the time they had gone through it all, he felt... soothed. Not better, exactly, but the edges inside him cut less. He couldn't think of a better way to describe it.
He closed the book and let it fall onto the bed. He had started crouched beside Anya's bed, but now he was sitting on the floor, leaning on her bed with one arm propped up beside her, his chin in his hand. He lowered his hand and looked down at her. "I think I might be able to sleep now. Thank you." But he made no move to get up and go to bed.
~ • ~ • ~ Callum snorted at that, as if he found the idea of Lawrence forcing him to go anywhere was laughable. But he didn't argue anymore, just said once more, "I will be there when you talk to my sister," before finally letting Morgan drag him away.
As soon as they were away from the crowd, Morgan pulled Callum into a narrow gap between two tents and whirled on him. "Dude, what the hell?"
Callum looked away. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Too bad! Cami was assaulted! I need details like, yesterday. I also need to know how confronting the guy over it turned into you going all feral beast on his ass. I know you, man. You're super protective, but it takes a lot more than that to push you over the edge like that. Talk to me. What. Happened?"
Callum glared at him. "You don't know me. You've never taken the time to know me. Until a week ago I was just Seth's older brother to you."
Morgan pointed at him. "That is not true. I'm a people person, Callum, and as such it does not take me long to get to know a person. I may not be privy to all your deep dark secrets, but I know enough from spending the last few days with you to know that that—" He pointed toward the training grounds. "That was not you, man."
Callum just shook his head and backed away. "You're wrong, Reilly. I have to find my sister." He spun around to walk away, but Morgan stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.
"I think not. Are you not aware that there is a big ass gash across your chest leaking blood everywhere?"
Callum looked down at his chest as if he had, in fact, been unaware of the injury. He shrugged Morgan's hand away. "I'm fine."
Morgan snorted. "Right." He gave Callum's shoulder a shove, which almost toppled him over. He barely managed to right himself and shot Morgan a furious glare. Morgan just crossed his arms. "Your reflexes are usually better than that, and you're as white as a sheet from blood loss. You need a healer. Luckily for you, I know just enough to be of service. Take your shirt off."
Callum stepped back so fast he almost fell over again. "No. It'll heal on its own. I don't need your help."
Morgan frowned. "Okay, Callum, seriously. What's going on?"
"It's none of your business, so just leave it alone." He went to leave again. Morgan didn't stop him, but he did follow him. "Go away, Reilly."
"Nope. Lawrence told me to escort you to our tent, so that's what I'm gonna do." Callum growled at him, but he just stuck his hands in his pockets and whistled a merry tune as he trailed him all the way back to their tent.

"And guilty I may be, but don't give up on me... We will still be thick as thieves."

"I'd assume you have," Mathias agreed. "We'll be sure to save hi something to eat as well. Bet as for question, the nearest town here is Fulton, about thirty minutes from here. That's where most of us have found work, myself included. It's a decent town, nice enough folks."
(Lol, that last sentence made me laugh. XD)
The sailing days where they had nothing to do were great, but, at the same time, Parker wished there was a little bit more for him to do. He enjoyed the celebrations that overtook the crew. It was a chaotic and rambunctious as it could be without the influence of alcohol adding to the mix. Although, while he enjoyed it, he did have moments were he was more observer than participants. Sure, he joined in every now and then, but he had found that he would rather watch. After all, he wasn't a member of the crew, and he felt a little out of his element. Not to mention, it was funny to watch how the crew acted sober in this kind of situation. On top of that, Sol surprised him by joining in the celebrations. If that didn't make for an amusing sight, he didn't know what was.
Like Sol, Parker didn't actively seek out the captain. Having spent 2 nights and a whole day with him before heading back to sea was enough for him, which was more time than they had spent together in the time between ports. So he was more than okay with having a more causal interactions that they found themselves in throughout the day. That didn't stop his eyes from stealing glances his way. He didn't think there would be anything that could really stop that. Anything more than that would have certainly caused unwanted attention from the rest of the crew. When the day ended and the night set in, the young man was prepared to head down to his hammock for a night's rest, hoping for more work and looking forward to the next morning's training (and possible distractions). That is, until Sol seduced him back into his bedroom against all odds. He knew that his absence from the crew's quarters would be noticed, and he knew that he'd get crap from Mason and Quill. But, gods help him if he wasn't getting too used to these late night kisses and cuddles already. It made it very hard to say no.
He especially took advantage of those late night cuddles when they reached Kusta. The day had been a long one, mainly because they had reached the port so late in the day. Normally, whenever they reached land, they had a couple of hours of sunlight left. This time, not so much. Even with the lanterns and other forms of light to work by, he found that he would much rather try and dock a ship in the daylight. So far, he had never worked the ship at night. It wasn't so different, but the lower visibility made him a little more nervous. Yet the work was done, and he was soon retiring for a night's rest with the captain while everyone else headed ashore.
The next morning, though, he did part ways with Sol, if only for the day. Sol had things to do, and he didn't want to keep following him around all the time. That brought him two options: explore the town on his own, or find the crew. He did a little bit of both. Since he didn't know exactly where the crew went, he had to wander about until he found a familiar face or two. Then he integrated back in with them and spent the day just going with the flow of the others.
(This is horrible, I know. I have no idea why I can't think of anything better. >.< )

Anya had shifted only so she was laying more comfortably to look over his shoulder, her chin propped up by a hand every now and then. As he closed the book, she let her head fall onto her crossed arms, tilted so she could still look at him. "I don't know if I did all that much, but you're welcome," she told him. She could hear it in his voice that his mood had improved. Not much, but it was better than the dejected tone he had when he showed up from his flight with Stel. "I just wished I could do more."

Lawrence stayed in the middle of the scene long enough to be sure that the two men were doing as told. Then he sent a runner to find Cami, told two of his men who happened to be watching the fight to go be sure Callum didn't raise anymore trouble, and then dispersed the crowd. He reminded the werecats that he would need to speak with them, and knew they would. So he didn't make sure they were following as he took Andy by the arm to drag him back to his tent. There were hundreds of things he had to do today, and sorting out this mess shouldn't be one of them. However, he knew if he didn't, he'd have more problems later on.
