i have some inspiration. i've felt like everyone has been so busy, including me, so why not make an easy little one x one that's unique & fun with a touch of romance. why not?
plot; muse A is the daughter of a wealthy man living in a seaside town. they have always loved the sea, enough to have their house built on a high cliff overlooking the ocean. despite their fondness, they also have a sense of fear of the beautiful place. though rare, pirates sometimes dock in the small town. usually there aren't any problems, but many years prior muse A's mother was killed by a ruthless crew of them. ever since, she has despised them and considered them all cruel and heartless.
one night, muse B - a young captain - docks his ship in the seaside port and is in search of some goods to steal. he hears of the luxurious house on the cliff, and the successful man who owns it. he also hears that the man is away for a few days taking care of some business, leaving behind his seventeen year old daughter (muse A) alone to take care of things. figuring that he would simply break in and take whatever jewelry and loot his crew could carry, he assumes everything will go smoothly. but he's in for a shocking surprise when muse A actually tries to defend her home; ripping off a decorative sword from the wall and wielding it around dangerously. she was over-powered and knocked unconscious, and almost left behind in the ransacked estate. but, something causes muse B to take her too.
// now, i intend to be muse A. also, my writing style tends to be on the longer side so i asked that you're rather advanced/literate. im looking forward to this plot, so i'll be on at least everyday. xx

liesel wailes //
There was fog that had settled low over the ocean, a damp mist that was hovering in the air and creeping along the shore. The grand house on the cliff overlooked the sea, secluded and beautiful and easily spotted from afar from the candles that flickered behind the windows. Large waves crashed against the rocks below.
Liesel had seen the ship before it even docked. It had appeared on the horizon so suddenly, a dark silhouette gliding silently through the dark waters and piercing through the haze, billowing sails rippling in the faint breeze. The sight had caused her chest to tighten, it was not the first ship to visit the town, nor would it be the last.
There had been a moment of silence, in the air that is, not in Liesel's mind. She should have been asleep, should have been able to feel safe inside her bed; but she couldn't. It was all too familiar.
She heard the shouts before she saw the torches, deep voices growing nearer and nearer until she could make out the auburn glow of fire lighting up the path.
She didn't want to think about the rest, because really, she couldn't remember.
Everything had gone black. She opened her eyes only to see the ground blurry and moving, which was quite a confusing sight considering that only moments before she had been inside her house safe and sound. But, what had gone wrong? The past events came back so sharply that she flinched, trying to scream only to find that she had been gagged, fabric cutting into her cheeks and mouth. She wriggled and squirmed against her restraints, only to find that they grew more painful and tight whenever she did. Her cries came out as faint whimpers, nothing she did loosened the ropes or caused the man carrying her to let go.
Liesel was aware of the danger she was in, but in that moment all she could think of was that something warm was trickling down the side of her head, and the pain was causing her eyelids to feel heavy and her reflects to respond slow. She was afraid, but more so angry and upset, angry that they had stolen her from her home, and upset that her father would return home from business only to find that she was gone.
Her pale blonde hair brushed against her forehead, blood rushing to her face as she was hung upside down from a pirate's shoulder. She stopped struggling, but her blue eyes were notably wide.
[ sorry this is sloppy, i have some stuff to do lol & yessssss will x elizabeth <3 also, i skipped to where they already have her and are taking her back to the ship if that's okay ]

( oh! and just for reference, tobias' fc is ian somerhalder. my muse for the two of them is the salvatore brothers of the vampire diaries, if you're familiar with them c: )
Sebastian Serafin A calm breeze. The low humming of gentle wind brushed across the formidable ship’s sails as the crew of pirates silently slunk into the wealthy town’s port. The crew knew well enough to stay silent as the ship was docked. Any unnecessary noise had the ability to warn the townspeople of their presence. And for now, they wanted to remain unseen.
It was the dead of night, and really the only noise that countered the faint footsteps that crept along the creaky, wooden docks was the sound of the soft waves of the low tide colliding against the rocks that scattered along the shoreline.
Right now, the town seemed rather..deserted. And that could be explained by the time of their arrival. Each pirate, armed with a sword, seemed ready for an epic ransacking. A devious gleam shone in many of their dark eyes, a glint of mischief detectable in their smirks.
Yes. It was go time.
A tall, young man slowly ran a hand through his thick, dirty-blond hair as he surveyed the area. His emerald-green eyes were set on one house in particular, and right now, he was certainly not in the mood to be challenged. His steady footsteps strode almost powerfully toward the mansion that sat atop a tall hill, and with a torch in hand, he set off on his quest.
“Sebastian!”
The shout momentarily distracted the man from the thoughts that clouded his mind, and slowly, he turned in the direction of the achingly-familiar voice. His elder brother, Tobias, stood a mere meter or so away. Sebastian’s expression remained blank. Emotionless. Almost lifeless, as the dullness of his eyes, that could only be classified as boredom, settled on Tobias.
Footsteps pounded against the cobblestones of the road for a mere moment as Tobias joined Sebastian.
“Hello, brother,” the younger of the two murmured. Funny. His tone was more expressive than his countenance.
The two walked in silence for the remainder of the trek to the entrance of the house, and with the blade of his sword in its scabbard, Sebastian used the hilt to smash through the glass pane of the door. He then carefully reached inside, undoing the lock and swinging the door open.
He took a moment, again, to allow his eyes to adjust to the dim candlelight once he was inside. Then, he took in his surroundings. A luxurious home, indeed. There was much to be taken. As his emerald glance cast upward, an eyebrow quirked slightly as he noticed something, or rather someone, whom he had not noticed previously.
“You take the loot,” he muttered to Tobias, “I want the girl.
A dumbfounded snort escaped the elder brother’s lips, and his caramel-brown eyes widened in a mixture of shock and amusement.
“You could have anyone you wanted,” Tobias retorted with a soft chuckle, “and that’s who you choose?” He shook his head in disbelief just as Sebastian whipped around, casting him a warning glare. And that was enough to shut him up for the time being.
Sebastian picked up a jog as he took the stairs two at a time, and that was more than enough momentum to overpower the young woman. His hands slipped around her waist and he held her against him to keep her from escaping.
“Sorry, darling,” he whispered, clearly sarcastically, allowing his lips to softly tickle her ear as he spoke, “but we’re going for a little field trip.”
And then..she went limp. How inconvenient.
Rolling his eyes and tightening his jaw, Sebastian shuffled around her so that he was facing her before tossing her over his shoulder. She was surprisingly light, and he had zero trouble getting her back downstairs.
“Tobias!” he called. “A little help here, if you don’t mind!”
His brother came running, and when he saw the girl’s limp body lying on the oriental rug of the main foyer, a faint chuckle escaped his lips.
“Couldn’t get her to just go with you?” he teased, lightly nudging Sebastian’s forearm with his elbow. His arm was quickly swatted away.
“Help me tie her up, will you?” Sebastian requested in a somewhat exasperated tone.
With only a nod in response, Tobias tore two pieces of cloth from his sleeves to use as bindings. Make that three. He decided that he would gag her for good measure. Quickly, he fastened the ties around her ankles and wrists, then promptly gagged her. Then the girl was thrust back upon Sebastian’s shoulder, and the two brothers were on their way. Along with the loot, of course.
Tobias and Sebastian had almost made it all the way back to the docks before they heard a muffled scream coming from the girl. Sebastian let out a grunt through his teeth as she struggled, but his grip on her only tightened. He was quite a strong man, and wouldn’t give into her will that easily.
A hearty chuckle came from Tobias as he gazed upon the girl, and he tilted his head as he walked, looking her square in the eye.
“Well, hello there, little lady,” he greeted the, admittedly, attractive girl. Maybe his brother’s taste in women was not quite as bad as he had originally expected.
In contrast to their arrival, the pirates’ footsteps now thundered over the docks. Men hollered and whooped as they returned to their ship. Many stopped to gaze upon the new hostage, but Sebastian quickly shrugged them all off.
Maybe, having a high rank on this ship would finally pay off. Maybe having a brother as a captain would finally help him in some way. The two brothers each had their own private quarters. He could certainly store the girl there; that way, he could personally keep an eye on her.
Yes. That was what he would do.
Upon reaching the ship, Tobias and Sebastian went their separate ways, as usual. Sebastian made his way through the crowd of people on deck, heading for the stern of the large ship. On the contrary, his brother decided to join the crew’s party. That was how things always happened. Tobias was the wild one, Sebastian the stoic one.
The story was always the same.
Once he arrived in his cabin, he set the girl down on the bed and removed the gag from her mouth. Immediately, he walked to the large armoire on the opposite side of the room and pulled some blankets from one of the drawers. He then removed a cot from the cupboard by his desk. He would allow her to sleep in the bed. He would take the cot.
“I wouldn’t try to run, if I were you,” he warned, tilting his head in the direction of the door. “Believe it or not, you’re safest in here.”
And honestly, that was the truth.

liesel wailes //
From almost the very beginning there had been a certain hatred of pirates. Almost. She remembered a time that made her feel otherwise.
It had been one of the many days that her father had taken her down to the dock where the marketplace was. A time when Liesel was but a child with soft pale curls and pretty white dresses. The scent of fish was putrid and hot, causing her nose to wrinkle at the salty smell, but it was nice in a way. She remembered how she'd wandered away, gaze following the cobble stones and dress billowing in the wind. She'd stopped where the dock dropped off, but was fascinated by her reflection in the rippling water, big blue eyes and rosy red cheeks splattered with a couple of light freckles. Maybe she just wanted to catch a closer glimpse, or maybe she just wanted to graze her finger tips across the cool surface. Whatever the reason, she wasn't really aware that she was falling until an arm wrapped around her tiny waist. It scooped her up mid-fall, and plopped her down on the splintering planks with a chuckle. "Wow there young lady, you 'ought to be more careful walking near the edge." She looked up into the face of a young pirate with shaggy hair and a gruesome scar across his cheek. He smiled a lopsided grin and patted Liesel on the head before sauntering away whistling.
There had been other memories that made the kind-hearted man seem like a distant fragment, only a rare example of a good run in with pirates. There had been other times though, more notable ones. Like when her mother had been lying still and pale in the splintering coffin which was too ugly in comparison to her beauty; motionless. Gone.
She didn't speak on the trek. But then again, she was gagged. Her eyes met those of the man who had called her "little lady", and she made sure to send him a nasty look, holding the gaze with notable defiance. She was more infuriated than she was fearful, her hold body stiff and shaking from it. But it was hard not to feel upset when she was carried onboard the ship, because it was obvious once they set sail so did she. The very thought made a sick feeling settle in the pit of her stomach.
Liesel closed her eyes, as if maybe everything was just a nightmare, but when she opened them she could still see the scuffed planks and hear the rambunctious shouts of the crew. Only, that wasn't the end of things. Now she was being carried towards the cabin, most likely to be locked somewhere, or worse. She did not want to think of the possibilities of what they might do to her.
She was dumped onto the bed almost carelessly, but not quite. Her gag was removed but not whatever was binding her wrists, causing Liesel to not exactly feel grateful. Despite the red marks that were left from the fabric cutting into her cheeks, and her pale hair that was disheveled and sticking to her now sweaty forehead, she still managed to respond with an attitude. "Well, I don't think I'll be trying to run with my arms all twisted up behind my back and with that pack of wild beasts romping around out there on the deck - do you?" He words came out fast and sharp, her chest heaving as the color rushed to her face. "But don't you think for a second I'm going to stay here! My father will find out about this-and-and he'll find you!"

( sorry this is p bad but I'm super tired this morning D: )
Sebastian Serafin
Sebastian slowly took a seat on the cot on the opposite side of the room, and he crossed his arms loosely over his chest. He took a moment to study the girl before him, green eyes narrowing and darkening in concentration. His thin lips pursed, and the man began to tap one foot softly on the ground. Wood planks creaked beneath his tapping foot, though he didn’t seem to care. All of his attention was solely focused upon the girl sitting a few feet away.
A gleam of recognition sparked within Sebastian’s eyes as she spoke, and when she was finished, he stood from his cot, and slowly neared her. She did have a point. That he did have to both admit and consider. If the crew was to avoid a confrontation with a wealthy and assuringly-powerful man, they would have to leave. Immediately.
But then, slowly the ship lurched forward, and a content smirk rested within Sebastian’s stoic features.
“Unless your father intends to scour the greater part of the world’s oceans for you,” he began with an almost calculating chuckle, “I don’t really see the need to worry.”
Just then, the wooden door to Sebastian’s chamber creaked open, and Tobias peeked his head inside.
“Everything okay in here?” the elder brother inquired with a bit of an amused, knowing smirk.
“Shouldn’t you be guiding the ship?” Sebastian’s tone reeked of boredom, as if he were tired of his brother’s company. And perhaps he was.
“Eh, I think Scallenger’s got that handled for now.”
Sebastian’s eyebrow raised in disbelief, and when Tobias’ expression didn’t lighten, he could only assume that his brother was serious.
“You’re letting a dog drive the boat.”
Tobias swatted a hand at him dismissively and rolled his brown eyes in a huff. “Relax, brother. Everything is under control. We’re just going straight for the time being, anyway, so what’s the big deal?”
“Ah, I get it. You’re drunk.”
“And if I am?”
“You’re going to kill us all,” Sebastian murmured under his breath before turning his attention back to the girl.
Swiftly, he untied her ankles, but he left her wrists as they were. He then grabbed her forearm, making her stand with him.
“It’s either come with me or stay here with him. And he’s not himself. So I can’t promise that he won’t hurt you.” He paused for a moment, and tilted his head up toward the ceiling. “Never mind. Not giving you an option. You’re coming with me.”
He began to walk, picking up a steady stride as he left his brother in his chamber, though he did not hesitate to lock the door from the outside. Tobias needed to sleep, that much was clear. Weaving through the crowd of his somewhat surly crewmates, he finally reached the wheel of the ship. No one was there. Either they all had retired to their bunks, or they were drinking in celebration on the main deck. Eh, no matter. If he needed them, he knew that he would be able to grab their attention. He wasn’t really worried for the time being.
“If you try and swim back to shore, you’ll drown because your hands are bound. And because of the time of year, you might become hypothermic. So that’s probably not the best idea,” he stated simply, flicking his green eyes over to meet the girl’s blue gaze.
“Who are you, anyway? What’s your name?”

liesel wailes //
It was apparent that Liesel was not fond of people looking at her, from the way she fidgeted and twitched. It felt like she was some sort of specimen being examined, and she couldn't help but feel extremely uncomfortable with a pair of eyes fixed upon her. Specifically the man sitting on the cot, with his green eyes and attentive stare.
Her mind was racing almost as fast as her heart, as she tried to scramble and find some sort of solution to the problem she had some how gotten herself into. But when the ship started forward with a lurch, it became starkly clear that there was no escape; her throat tightened with that knowledge, her eyes blinking as she forced herself to swallow. How could her father find her? Most likely nobody had even noticed her absence. She smoothed her nightgown with shaky hands, trying to keep her expression dormant.
A voice snapped her head upright, one that she was now familiar with. She had a hunch that the two pirates in the cabin were brothers, perhaps being observant would heighten the possibilities of her staying alive.
They bickered light-heartedly like siblings, while Liesel sat idly with a suspicious expression on her youthful face. She did not like the idea of being the only woman on a ship full of drunken pirates.
When her ankles were untied, she felt somewhat relieved, but was soon to find that her balance was not stable. Being forced to stand, Liesel stumbled somewhat as the floor rocked beneath her, she'd have to adjust to the feeling of being at sea.
Ever since she had been unfairly kidnapped, her options had been limited, treated as a prisoner and dragged from place to place; she wasn't surprised when the green-eyed pirate didn't give her a choice to stay with his brother or go with him. She wasn't surprised in the least. "How do I know that you won't hurt me?" She raised and eyebrow and squared her thin shoulders. That was the catch, she didn't know anything.
As she was lead from the cabin and out into the open deck, Liesel attempted to keep her eyes downcast a she was pulled at a quick stride through the crowded crew, but her curiosity caused her to steal sly glances upward to catch a glimpse at what she was dealing with. She felt extremely small in comparison. Being somewhere around 5'6, she wasn't exactly short, but compared to the large men she felt rather petite. Liesel had always had a willowy stature, with a thin build that could be considered on the skinny side, with high cheek bones and a somewhat sharp jaw. She looked frail at that moment through, tired and wary.
When they reached the wheel, a gentle breeze tickled her cheek, and as she turned her head Liesel could see the house on the cliff all alone, dark waves splashing across the protruding rocks below it over and over again.
She didn't respond to the man's comment at first, her blue eyes still fixed on the dark surface rippling and changing under the moon's silvery surface. She wondered what it would feel like if she threw herself overboard, to sink to the bottom like her dress was filled with rocks and her ankles weighted with chains. Would it hurt when her lungs filled with water? When her muscles stiffened from the temperature? Liesel was afraid of the pain, so much that she knew that she just couldn't do it.
"I'm not dumb you know." She responded plainly, "If I jumped overboard it would be with the knowledge that I wouldn't be making it back to shore, but of course I won't do that, at least not today." Her expression was distant and her words dull, but she managed to look the man in the face. She looked into his eyes with an even stare, silently marveling at their emerald green hue.
"That's not really any of your business is it?" She asked in an airy tone. But, letting her gaze linger on the hilt of his sword, back tracked and opted for the smarter route. "My name is Liesel. Liesel Wailes."

( this is quite short ahh i apologize ) Sebastian Serafin ”You don’t.”
The answer was as simple as that. She couldn’t know if he would hurt her or not. But really, that was not part of his plan. He was not going to hurt her, but he would not be able to guarantee her safety with the others on board. That was why she was going to stay by his side at all times. He was not prepared to take any chances.
However, the rest of the crew knew better than to test Sebastian, as he definitely had a dark side. He wouldn’t hesitate to hurt someone who stood in his way. It was what made him so good at his job. It was what made him so incredibly dangerous.
But there was something about this girl, something about Liesel that kept him from hurting her. She just seemed so..delicate. There was something about her that he wanted to protect. And yet, he had been the one to rip her away from her home.
Well. At least he could protect her now.
“I never said you were stupid,” he retorted, adjusting the ship’s course of navigation as he spoke. “But you would be dumb to throw yourself overboard.”
His eyes flicked back to meet hers as she answered his next question, and recognition, again, flickered in his green gaze. Wailes. He knew that name. Well, how could he not? Both he and his brother had once lived in that town, and had once lived in a manor much like Liesel’s own. But then his father had joined the Royal Navy, and had taken his family along with him. And that was when his ship had been abducted by these very pirates. Tobias and Sebastian had been very young, and their father traded them to the crew for his freedom. Tobias worked his way up the social ladder, and eventually became captain, himself. Sebastian was only four years younger than his brother. They protected one another.
"You know, we're going to be spending quite a bit of time together, so would it kill you to be a little bit nicer?"
In that moment, Sebastian decided that he would not tell Liesel about his connection to her hometown. At least, not for a long while.
But one thing was for certain. Out of everyone, Sebastian was the person that she should trust the most. He was the one person that she could trust. Even if she did not know that to be true yet.
