Cool. Aite, here's a better summery of me character. Tell me where to do tweaks;
Name: Áedán Monroe (pronounced Aiden), but Aed for short. Age: 23 Physical Description: 6' 3'', skin is lightly tanned with a reddish tinge, similar subtle reddish tinge to his brunette hair that is maybe 3 inches over shoulder length, often kept with the sides tied back, and wavy. Eyes blue. Few freckles on his face. Angular face -- prominent cheekbones, square jaw, clean shaven face. Well built.
Personality description: In new situations uncomfortableness shows with silence -- he is quick to open up though which is when his sense of humour comes through, often in slightly cocky or crude jokes. Drinks and smokes heavily. Flirty drunk tho. Reaction to intense emotion is to become nonchalant and unfeeling.
History: From very large family (9 siblings), middle child. Father was constantly away (worked oil rigs). Wasn't awfully poor -- had food on the table -- but got jealous of other kids in school who had holidays and cars and things. Mother died when he was 16, strict religious eldest sister took charge of family so he ran away. Found a really rich guy who had a huge house, decided to squat in the basement he never used. When the guy did eventually come downstairs to the basement, Aed tried to run away but the guy caught him and bit him. Later he was arrested trying to nick a tv in a local shop. That night he turned and killed the whole police station. Guy who bit him found him and said "yo they eventually going to kill you. Join up with me and I'll make you a new identity, and train you to be my assassin how bout that?". Aed didn't have a choice so he just did it and there u have it ee-z-bake assassin.

[[Yeah that sounds good -- want to do a budding romance between Violet and Liam? He can still die, it just makes things more dramatic. But if not that's chill -- she'll be suitably sad either way.]]
The Siren growled, then flicked her tail out the water, using it to slap Aurora in the cheek.
“Mirren parents make trade with us. They ask for Mermaid blood. We...start war, with mermaid. In return, they will give us spells -- spells to fight mermaid, and human. Where are the spells!” the siren said.
Violet shrank back slightly and pulled Aurora to the side. “Mermaids and vampires can’t use thaumaturgy that well -- I doubt any ‘spells’ given to these..eh..ladies, would’ve been useful to them anyway…”
She turned back to the siren. Thinking on her feet she said, “we can’t give you the spells, what do you want instead?”

[[ *sigh* my best friend cancelled, and my brother isn't answering my texts, and both my cousins and me are all mad at each other. But anyway, was going to propose Siren's end up sending Aurora, Violet and Liam on a quest (Desmond can get held hostage idek) to go get a thing [andhavesomegroupbondingbutyaknowwhatevs] so that they won't kill people. They get the thing, come back, case closed? ]]
[[ Also, do you want to work in a lycan plot to Liam at some time I see he is a carrier of the gene. ]]

Yesssss. Okay, so, I could make an assassin type, sort of broody, but has a sense of humour to go with that and he's the pack assassin so he tries to kill her, fails, she turns -- he initially sees this as the start of his own pack but then grows to not want her dead instead. (NB: I could make it so that his pack laws are that if a beta turns a human, they're killed because it's considered treasonous). So after he saves her life from the others who try to kill her, he says that if they do their own pack and steal the thingy they will be a force to be reckoned with, and after they succeed in stealing the thingy, they form their own pack and things continue from there?

yeah I can do that -- desperately want to do a good werewolf plot soon. We could do them both trying to steal something (either together or desperately), then getting turned into werewolves in the process? Or something like that -- Idm, tweak it if you want.

Violet stepped out into the water. Even for a vampire, the icy chill made her winch. Further and further they waded until eventually they were knee deep. At that point, a face steadily rose above the choppy navy swirls. It was repulsive -- even more so than the last ones. This one looked like it was...rotting. As she opened her mouth to speak, her teeth were black.
“I speak for sirens,” she said in a stilted, gravelly voice.
“We...want Mirren children -- need to acquire Mireen parents.”

Violet winced. She understood why he was hesitant, but if the siren’s caught him…
No matter. She wasn’t going to persuade him otherwise. “Just make sure you’re not seen,” she murmured and then turned back to Aurora and an irritable Desmond.
“Where do we meet them?” she asked.
“You’ll have to wade out into the water -- about knee length, and sit as the sirens sit with you. Don’t be ‘above’ them. But watch yourselves...they aren’t known for being trustworthy,” he said, then looked out towards the ocean. The black tails were starting to break the waterline. They were here.
Violet saw it too, and turned to Aurora. “You ready?” she asked. “It’s likely to be quite cold.”

Violet slanted her face. “We kind of are the authorities…” she murmured. Desmond only huffed in agreement. Before another argument broke out, the vampiress took Liam’s hand and gently led him a few paces away -- out of the ear range of Aurora, because she knew the apprentice wouldn’t agree to what she was about to say.
“Thing’s get heated, and I’ll tell the siren’s who I am -- trust me, they’ll turn their heads at that. I’ll tell them that they can deliver me back to my mother, who will reward them greatly, because I’m kind of a fugitive -- she’s a vampire -- it’s a thing…”
Violet shook her head, getting out of the brain fuzz again. “The point is, you have insurance -- they won’t hurt Aurora if they get me,” she said, avoiding eye contact with just about everybody as she spoke. She’d been thinking about it for a while. Desmond had tried, but sometimes curing a vampire just wasn’t possible. At least this way her friends would be safe.

honestly it's gonna be hard to refrain from having Jesus pop in and seduce characters with interpretive dance bc that's like my go to plot move. however, I shall try.
do you have any male characters you'd want to use? I feel like rping a female bc I only have an rp with a male character going on right now. I saw that you'd be down Eeb to a male, which I'm not against, but I thought I'd check and see if there were any other available males so you don't have to alter your character I know what you mean man it's so hard to stop Jesus coming in and doin his thang. But yeah no I can do male characters -- usually most of my male characters revolve around a kind of cocky, daredevil, light-hearted but obvs has the deep issues too thief/assassin character, or a kind of, academic type mage guy, or grumpy viking. I can also do standard hero type with twists and turns. It really depends what kind of female character you want to do - I adapt most of my character's from my novels and things, the ones above are just a few -- so just tell me what kind of plot/char you want to do and I can suggest what I can put in as another character?

"Are we ever going to be able to go home?" Aurora asked gloomily. "At this point, it's like we're the protagonists in a TV show or something. There's always some sort of problem." "Stop being so gloomy, Aurora," Liam huffed. "Let's just... I don't know, blow them up or something. Explosions are always fun." Desmond cocked one eyebrow. "Children, in my day we had magical wars -- lasting decades sometimes. Be glad we're going to be home by tomorrow at least," he said then reached into his pocket and pulled out an iphone. Violet's mouth was agape with surprise. "You own a phone? A modern one? Aren't you meant to just...contact people with magic?" Desmond rolled his eyes at her, but didn't answer. Instead, he dialed a number and waited for the receiver to take the call. There was nothing but silence. Until she answered. "What do the sirens want with the Mirrens?" Desmond asked -- no formalities, his tone even and purposeful. "Why would I tell you?" Natalie said -- equally as aloof, but unemotional. "Because the murder of a society apprentice and a human, and the release of two criminals from the society will provoke a manhunt for them. It'll take time, and casualties. But they'll be killed -- and so will you." "It'll be better for all parties if you get them to agree for a meet. We find out what they want, and deliver it," he finished. Natalie couldn't help but laugh. "You think they'll meet with you? You know siren requirements -- and how you can never fulfill them. No, you want a meet, you send your precious Aurora. They'll be waiting off your shoreline in ten minutes." The dead-tone rang from the line. Desmond frowned -- he knew she would figure out where they were eventually, but thought they would've had a little more time. "Siren's won't talk to men -- they consider them, ehh, livestock. So you two will need to do this," he looked at Aurora and Violet. It was a tricky situation for both of them -- Siren's ate people, and one of the few ways violet could die would be going through a digestive system. But Aurora was the targeted one -- so Desmond had no idea how she'd feel about facing them.

"No idea," Aurora and Liam said in chorus. "We haven't seen in each other in years, anyway," Liam added. "And to be entirely honest, I was extremely surprised when I heard about what had happened. Besides, I'd rather to just kill them all and be done with it." "I vote that we sacrifice them all to the blood gods," Aurora announced. "They live as a cult, they die as a cult." Violet couldn't help but escape a giggle. "You know my mother ran with a group of vampires called the Blood Gods in the late 1790's? I suppose I could suffice as one in a pinch," she teased. Desmond smirked. "You ever tried to kill Sirens?" he asked, turning to them. "It's possible -- on land. But as soon as they reach the water they can swim faster than vampires can run. There's also the curses to watch out for too," he said, but his face was curled in a position of thought. "But if we did manage to get them out of the way, that would get Natalie off our backs -- and we could all just go home again."

“You’d think your ex-wife would’ve been a little smarter about leaving behind breadcrumbs,” Violet said, casting a dry side-glance to Desmond who promptly stood up and straightened out his tawny blaiser.
“She didn’t have a choice -- you can’t do portals without leaving a trace like that. No doubt she had hoped to complete the spell before I figured it out,” he said, taking a few steps to the shoreline and looking out over the sea.
“And for the record, we were never married,” the doctor added.
Violet rolled her eyes and turned to Aurora and Liam. “Did you figure out what they were trying to do? I take it has something to do with your parents -- but precisely, what?” she asked Aurora.

[[ I applaud you, you arise earlier than me ]]
Desmond slowly released them down to the sandy shores of Balinoe, before collapsing into the soft beach, exhausted from all the mental and magical effort.
The Vampiress looked at him, puzzled as to what had happened at his end before snapping herself out of it. Ignoring the argument, she ran straight to Aurora and wrapped her arms around her tightly.
“Thank God you’re alive,” she said, trying to not to break into tears again. “They wanted you instead of me. So if that had happened…”
“Well, I don’t know what they’d do. But if it wasn’t for Liam right now I think we’d both be in the ground now,” she said, blushing slightly as she looked at Liam in thanks, before turning to Aurora again.
“How did you find us?”

"Alright," Desmond said. He had known what the answer would be all along, but perhaps he just wanted to hear it. Violet and Aurora...they felt like a second chance to him -- a chance to get a family right, even though by gods, he didn't deserve that.
"This is going to feel like death," he said. "It's a soul grab -- I've got to feel your...well, spirit. I can connect it with your brothers, and bring them to us. It's tricky, and it might not work. But...but you should be safe."
It was a big should. But there really was nothing else to try. He couldn't let Violet die so meaninglessly, and he knew Aurora couldn't either. So he took his hand, and suddenly it had turned translucent and reached inside Aurora's body. He knew the sensation wouldn't be pleasant for her in the slightest -- but still, he had to get it right, so he took his time.
After twenty seconds he said "there!" and there was a blinding flash of light. But instead of bringing them to him, he had brought him to them...and Aurora...and they were falling...
There was a mere three feet before the ground by the time Desmond got the gravity float up and running for the four of them.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" he shouted, his hair all over the place and breath ragged from effort.
Violet was too shocked to answer, only starting to uncurl her head from Liam's shoulder.

“No, they can’t, but…” Desmond looked away -- the thoughts of his decision to make between Violet and Aurora coming back to his mind again. Of course, there was no competition. Partially because he thought after trying for so long, Violet may be simply incurable.
“...but as soon as they find that out, Violet’s life is forfeit. Natalie is the type to kill cause she’s angry...well...she is now.”
After that reminder of his failure again, he growled and slammed his fist against the wall.
No. No more failures. He was going to save them all -- and cure Violet -- and keep mentoring Aurora. He refused to let anything else fail.
“Aurora, do you trust me?” he asked. “Despite all you know -- about what a terrible father and partner I was -- do you still trust me?”

[[Cool. Will Get Desmond to do a forcefield thing when they teleport so that they don't crash and die on, what is basically either going to be a few rocks off the Iona coast, or Tiree -- you choose. ]]
Desmond placed his hand on his chin in thought. He seemed unaware of everything else -- he often got like this while trying to figure out a problem. But he relished the distraction currently, he didn’t want to speak of his past with Natalie and Beatrice anyway.
“You see, Natalie works for the sirens. And she’s long since done with getting her revenge on me, so to kidnapping you could only be for your genetics. But to get past the society’s barriers you’d need two different genetic components of the spell. It normally would need to be parents as those are the only two…”
Desmond stopped. The penny had dropped.
“You have a brother, don’t you?” he murmured.

“I...I don’t know, I..” Desmond paced around the room, then leant against Violet’s bedframe, brow crinkled in frustration at the whole affair.
“Gods, I’m sorry Aurora I just…” then he looked down at the scene. Something didn’t add up.
He turned to Aurora, something sparking behind his eyes. “Why would Natalie wan’t Violet? The only use Violet is to the sirens is to get Viola. And trust me, that woman is beyond working with sirens anymore…”
It started to click together in his brain. The pieces of the puzzle. Yes, Yes!
He ran to Aurora and held her shoulders, looking at her in the eyes like a madman.
“Humans, creatures, they all have auras. A skilled searcher thaumaturgist can find them. Except, humans stick out like a sore thumb compared to vampires. If you were in this room before she came then it’s possible...Aurora, she was after you,” he said, breaking away and going to where the portal would be -- doing a few calculations in his head.
“Have you ever had any interactions with the sirens? Any of them? Ever?” he asked.
~~~~
Violet stared at the ground, that was going further and further from her now. Oh gods. This was it, wasn’t it? Not the fall, but there was nowhere else to go -- she’d be sacrificed, and God knows why. It had to be bad, she buried her head into Liams neck. Not wanting to look.
[[Plan, once Desmond figures out Liam is there, he can use a teleporty spell that’s more accurate because Liam and Aurora are related to get both of them to Liam and Violet, where he can save them with his superior thaumaturgy?]]
Desmond smiled -- for real this time. A fond smile. Because for a moment he was allowed to forget about Natalie, and Beatrice -- he was simply watching the beauty of learning. The progress was coming, slow though it was. Thaumaturgy was never a quick craft to learn anyway.
“Watch me, feel how I open my soul in searching,” he instructed and then breathed in deeply. He concentrated. A ball of light flickered in the centre of the room, and grew into a thin glowing globe. It was as if he was scanning something with his brain. And while he could look into the magics of the room, things started to leak out.
Sounds came into the room, faint, but present. A baby -- screaming as two adults shouted.
“Gods damnit Natalie she isn’t mine! How could you lie to me?!”
“I swear Des -- she’s yours, she’s yours…”
And then the sound of a door, slamming shut on the scene. That gave way to the sound of cold wind, a few cattle and some monisterial chanting.
“Iona!” Desmond said, coming out of the spell, his face marked with a few tears. “They’re on Iona!”
~~~
Violet started to run at full speed, but realised she was leaving Liam behind. Of course -- he was a human and she was almost fifty -- meaning she could run at almost 80 miles an hour.
“Sorry about this Liam, not entirely masculine but it’s going to get us out of here faster,” she said before she lifted the boy up and held him tight as she sped past the witch and her friend and towards the open ocean. It wouldn’t be ideal, but they could swim if needed.
However, that plan was promptly changed as from the sea the shadows came closer -- like sharks circling their prey, eventually they began to walk -- like mermaids coming to land, except these creatures were no mermaids. Grizly green skin, covered in slime and lichen, and matted tangly hair, threaded with bits of seaweed and perhaps some fish bones. But it was their eyes that were the worst -- green iris’, hungry for a bloodthirsty fight.
Violet skidded to a halt in the sand, putting Liam down and looking fearfully at the sea-monsters.
“Sirens,” she said. “I thought they were mere myth.”
Behind them, a furious Natalie was advancing -- hands surrounded with dark red flame, ready to burn them both for their escape.

“A Witch,” Desmond’s initial reaction was to say. Then he corrected himself -- chastised himself, for saying something so cruel. “A poor witch,” he said quickly afterwards, sounding somber and remorseful. Then, an even ground returned -- yes, she was of his making, but she could’ve chosen a different path. And kidnapping someone who was essentially, a young girl? Unforgivable, even for her.
“Her name is Natalie and she works with Sirens, mainly in the far north, in the Hebrides. Siren’s prefer cold waters and they don’t get much colder than Scotland. But which island she’s on exactly…”
He thought for a moment, then clicked his fingers, and they were teleported inside the tower. The scene was exactly as Aurora had left it.
“See if you can use your thaumaturgy to find out where she’s hiding this time-- portals always leave a trace -- and no doubt she used a portal. She always had a knack for them,” he muttered angrily.
~~~
Violet had been studying the bars -- Desmond told her, in theory, a vampire could regrow their body from their head. If they had severed her head and shoved her through the bars they could…
At Liam’s suggestion Violet grinned wickedly and slumped behind him, waiting for the explosion. Knowing she’d need to run fast afterwards. It felt more devious. It felt...it felt like she had a little bit of her mother in her after all.
“Well, go on -- impress me, pretty boy,” she said -- thinking it was something Viola would say. Although, she didn't really know if Liam was pretty. Were you allowed to be pretty these days without involving literally any leather?
Desmond sighed. This was the part of the job he hated -- sharing what was bad about the supernatural, and why it did have to be hidden from many.
“Viola Bloodmancer is one of -- if not the -- oldest vampire in existence. She’s murdered entire cities -- perhaps done more, I don’t know. But she is devoid of any moral compass -- and Violet…”
He turned to his apprentice, and looked her in the eye so she knew he was deadly serious.
“Violet doesn’t know this, but Viola is not her biological mother. Vampires can’t breed. It’s impossible. I don’t know who her parents were, but they were most certainly humans. But if she ever found that out…”
His mind was spinning -- Violet might soon be finding it out. What was Viola going to do to them? To her? To--
Just then, she appeared beside them -- bloodied, tarnished, and faded as she always was. Just not faded enough.
“It wasn’t Viola,” the ghost muttered, her reaction as sour as Desmond’s
“Who was it?” he asked, not looking Beatrice in the eye.
“...Her,” the ghost said, then left them.
“By the Gods, no…” he whispered, suddenly looking not only worried -- but sad as well.
~~~
Violet smiled a little. It wasn’t every day she saw a new person -- and perhaps this one would one day be her friend as well. She shuffled a little closer and cocked her head to one side slightly, analyzing his face, hair and clothing styles. Was that what boys wore now? She missed the mullets, and the leather, and the grunge styles…
But this wasn’t the time for such things. She shook herself out of it and started to think. “The woman up there said that we were making our ‘final goodbyes’ and that a spell would be ready in a few hours…” her face darkened in worry. “Do you know any thaumaturgy that they might be planning? My lessons were somewhat cut short…”

Liam had completely lost track of time. How long had he been there? Could've been a week, could've been a few hours, could've been a month. All he could remember was being snatched from his home whilst his dog, Solstice, barked up a storm. Now, he was here. Trapped in a cage with a girl that was certainly not his sister. "... Yes," He said quietly. "I'm Liam... Liam Mirren. Who are you? Please tell me that nothing bad has happened to Aurora. Please, please, please..." Violet looked down softly. This was one of the very rare moments that she wished she was a strong, powerful, formidable vampire. She may have the curse of the night upon her, but she was about as formidable as a kitten -- and couldn't hide it. "I don't know -- in all honesty, I don't know. But this woman think's I'm Aurora, so I've got to presume she's still safe from these guys. But I don't know -- I don't know how far this extends or..." God's sake Violet, she said to herself. Now's not the time to ramble. So she tried to collect her thoughts again, coughing slightly as if she was giving a fancy speech. "I'm Violet...I'm...well I'm Aurora's..." She wanted to say best friend, but she didn't want that getting back to Aurora -- because Aurora probably didn't feel the same way -- after all she was just a vampire and Aurora was able to -- "...well, I helped her trap your parents cause they were trying to kill Desmond -- who's like, Aurora's teacher and my...ehh..doctor, except he's not managed to cure me yet, and that's why I have to live in a tower and that's why when your parents tried to kill the society I could help Aurora help to stop them and..." Violet had done it again. God damnnit! Why was she so incapable. At that moment, she decided she'd stop speaking forever and hid herself under her fringe, curling up into a ball -- just hoping Liam wouldn't give her away.

Desmond pushed his face down into a worried but determined expression. There was no time to lose. “Come on,” he said, and grabbed Aurora’s hand and sped through the society gardens, not caring that all the students were looking on curiously at them both.
Once they reached the lake, Desmond looked down with a grimace. He was trying to figure out if there had been an attack -- a vampire attack, more specifically.
“Do you know of Violet’s mother -- Viola Bloodmancer, Aurora? Do you know who she is? What she is? What she’s done?” he asked -- still concentrating on the lake.

[[violet and Liam post ]]
“She’s pale as paper and was kept in an attic. You’d think the society would’ve taken care of her better -- I guess that’s what you get for being related to anyone on their pathetic ‘black-list’” the woman said. Violet was listening to everything she said, and she could see her now that she’d dumped Violet’s body on the ground, and the girl could open her eyes.
They were in some sort of cave -- the mouth of which displayed a beach and shoreline. In the water were dark shadows. Occasionally, Violet saw a tail break through the waves. It was shaped like a mermaids, but instead of scales there was a hardened hide -- like that of a whale or shark. The one thing that stood out was the cutting chilled breeze. Violet knew, that wherever they were, it was more northern than Bristol.
“Should we put her down with the other one? Until the spell is prepared? It’ll be a few hours yet.”
Her captor turned to her; her face was sharp, and mared with age lines. Cruel, beady eyes bore into her as she stared -- and that whispy ginger hair was cropped in an ugly but practical cut. Whoever she was, she reminded Violet of Beatrice. May the ghost be damned if she was involved in this.
“You’re awake?” she said, turning to her small, bald colleague with an expression that teetered on being impressed. “Thought that spell would put you out for a good few hours. No matter -- you can spend your remaining time making your farewells,” she said, almost gleefully. Violet was then grabbed by the hair and dragged down, further in the cave, to a set of iron bars. Inside the jail cell was a boy, maybe a few years older than her.
Violet was thrown in -- landing with a thud. “Hope you enjoy your sister more than I have,” the captor muttered, while Violet, facing the boy, put a finger on her lips -- hoping he’d know not to give it away that she was not Aurora.
Then, the captor left. As soon as she was far enough away, Violet huddled closer to the boy and whispered, “are you Aurora’s brother?”

[[Also will do post for Violet arriving at Prison where Liam is kept]]
Master Green’s study was a lot neater than Desmond’s -- after all, the master was a century older, so he’d learned all he wanted to learn -- no need to have untidy piles of papers and books everywhere. Desmond had rather admired the skill of organization Green had, until the perilous calculation of the organised mind the Master had came crashing down on Desmond’s activities.
“Doctor Bronze, you’re going to need to chose -- either you do away with your apprentice, or you cease in your search for a cure for this ‘vampire girl’. Quite frankly, I hope you choose the latter rather than the former. Despite her questionable family connections, Mirren is a very bright girl -- and Violet is the daughter of one of the most powerful vampires known to the society. Do you know what kind of havoc Viola could wreak if she had the chance?”
Desmond fidgeted with his pocket watch with his hands, glancing up at the pristine ebony shelves -- lined with immaculately kept manuscripts, or raking his eyes over the polished glass top desk Master Green had -- no mark in sight. But he couldn’t look the Master in the eyes.
“You’ve been neglecting your duty as an apprentice to Master Smith -- that’s now eighteen months he’s been missing. Why haven’t you found the man!”
“Master Green, forgive me, but the encryption thaumaturgy he put around the experiments he was performing...the man is three-hundred years of pure talent, I doubt I will ever be able to break through and find out what he was last doing!”
“Well, you must still try,” Master Green said. “And to do that, I think you best drop one of your little projects -- either the Mirren’s daughter, or Viola’s.”
Desmond sighed, there was nothing more to be said. He gulped and then excused himself, walking down the hallway -- his mind almost breaking at trying to make such a decision. That’s when he saw Aurora burst in through the main doors. From the look on her face, he knew something was wrong, so he charged down the stairs to meet her.
“What is it?” he asked, all other thoughts of his dilemma forgotten.

[[yessss. This a plan. Also I accidentally wrote this response first. Soz. Clearly Liam will need to show her vines instead.]]
See, Violet was brought up in the states for her first ten years of life -- there were so many ice cream shops there in the seventies. All kinds of flavours and things…
To distract herself from the thought, Violet started to sing. She started humming, then broke into lyrics. “What a feeling….”
“You just sit there and sing, while your parents rot in jail? By the ocean, if my daughter had been so ungrateful, I would’ve made her regret it…”
“Oh wait, I did.” And with that, the mysterious voice grabbed a, until then, frozen-in-fear Violet. But as soon as she felt the unforgiving grip of arms around her, and the sickly crackle of electricity going through her body -- no doubt created by some thaumaturgical power her captor was using -- she started to wriggle and scream.
“Let me go! Let me go you witch!” she screamed, presuming who held her was in fact her own mother -- come to wreak vengeance at last.
“If I’m a witch, then what are you, Aurora?! God you are strong for a teenager,” the voice said. Violet caught flashes of faded ginger frizz as she and her captor struggled to keep her contained. It was then that Violet realised two things -- this woman was not her mother, and did not really want to capture her. But she was well geared up to deal with a human -- the electric going into her body would have incapacitated a human by now.
So, with tears in her eyes, Violet decided to play the fool. “My mentor will hear about this!” she cried, then slumped down -- a fake slumber, to fool the kidnapper into thinking she was a human girl. It wasn’t long until she was dragged through the portal -- as those things never stayed open for very long -- but she did manage to let her leg ‘fall’ onto one of her records, that was dragged out of the pile, still in it’s case and all. The kidnapper didn’t notice, but hopefully Aurora would.
It was ‘Help!’ by the Beatles. It was a message that needed no interpretation.

[[m8 this why I made a 'trapped in the 70's character'. Let's rp that. But also what about this for a plotline; Natalie (Desmond's ex) kidnaps Violet and stores him with an already-kidnapped Liam, because she works for Siren's who had dealings with Aurora's parents -- and with Liam and Aurora's blood she could free them from magic jail. She kidnapped Violet because she thought Violet was Aurora?
Again tweak whatever you want about that]]
Violet was now actually giggling. My my, a smile, she hadn't made a real one of them in so long. She threw off her cardigan and grubby pajamas, and used a wet cloth to give herself a once-over. Vampires didn't sweat, so it made cleaning a lot easier. Then, it was time for her signature stripy stockings, metallic purple doc-martins, black mini-skirt and Victorian purple blouse. She even finished the look with a little dark lipstick. Perhaps there was such a thing as happiness again. So Violet waited for Aurora -- sitting on the end of her bed, swinging her legs in the air.
