Ashfang dipped his head, and took a step back. He turned around, started trotting away from the group, and broke out into a full out run. The leaves swished quietly as he brushed past them, his paws pattering the ground in an almost soundless whisper. 'Torrentclan,' he thought, racing to the edge of the border. 'They're a little too friendly for my liking.'l The grey tom reached the border they shared with Torrentclan, and tore right across it. He flinched, having just crossed another clan's border without a thought. Several damp, fishy scents hung around the border, leading around the entire territory. 'A patrol was here recently. Maybe I can still catch them.' Sniffing, Ashfang followed the scent. The trees began to thin and disappear by the time the smells became stronger, more fresh. The thundering roar of a waterfall rang in the air, the ground slightly vibrating. Four cats could be seen in the distance. Ashfang's eyes lit up, and padded closer.

Minnowpaw stared back at Thistlestar, terrified. She had never been addressed by any other leader than her own, and frankly, Thistlestar terrified her. Perhaps it was the way he carried himself or swept his cold, calculating stare around, but he himself just screamed intimidating. After a few heartbeats, the apprentice snapped out of her stupor. "A-ah, right, ok!" she glanced at Finchpaw, worry flashing in her eyes, and tore away from the group. She crashed through the dark forest blindly, following the scent trail back to her own clan territory. Fear scent trailed behind her as she sprinted all the way back to Stormclan territory.
[ It's fine, I don't mind! It would be a little odd if all of the deputies names were -tail xD Russettail, Stonetail, Quailtail, Willowtail. The -tails!! ]

xD yeah I'll pass on the -tails Stonefoot took a sniff, going to find a patrol. Sadly, the borders smelt faint, as if the patrol had passed a while ago. He gave a faint shiver. He'd have to go into their camp. Unlike the normal clans, StoneClan built their dens underground. Like... badgers or foxes. They ate the things that lived near their dens. Like moles and worms.... Rabbits, too. At least that was more normal. Stonefoot just didn't like the idea of going underground, being cramped by all those walls. Disgusting dirt covering his pelt. Bleh. Snap out of it Stonefoot. You are ThornClans deputy, next on line to the all powerful Thistlestar. You can't be afraid of some mud. Bracing himself, he headed towards their camp. --- Russetheart gave a small laugh, poking Wolfsky in the side where his new found scar was. Her mate had recently woken up, and Echostep had ordered him to take it easy, Applewatcher nodding in agreement beside her. But, so far Russetheart hadn't given him time to cause himself more injuries, sticking to his side like a fly near honey. Awww yeah. That is custom fur right there. ![](http://imgur.com/GQrJJFK.jpg) ![](http://i.imgur.com/xoLgvEe.jpg)

As Ashfang approached the Torrentclan patrol, one of the cats stepped forward, hissing. Ashfang froze, and raised his tail to signal that he meant no harm. The remaining three patrolling cats eyed him warily, showing no hostility, yet none of the warmth and kindness they were known for either. He noticed that all of the cats were very thin, their ribs poking out prominently. Leaf bare had been tough on this clan.
"Hello," he started. "I don't mean to attack you. I've brought no other cats with me. I must speak with your leader and deputy, please." The one hostile cat, a brown and white tabby she-cat glared through slitted eyes at him. "And why should we trust you?" she spat. Two cats were sniffing at the air, circling Ashfang. One of them swished his tail against the ground. "Come off it, Rushstream. I can tell he's alone. But what reason do you have to speak to the leader?" he inquired. Ashfang pawed at the ground impatiently. If he told these cats everything, they surely wouldn't believe him. "There's an emergency in Thornclan. Now please, can I speak with her?!" The patrol exchanged glances, and nodded solemnly. Ashfang dipped his head respectfully.
The three cats led him back to Torrentclan camp. It was a dripping cave set in the mountain beside the large waterfall. Ashfang's ears were already ringing from being in such close proximity with the falls, but he flattened his ears. As they entered the camp, curious eyes turned towards them. Finally, Robinstar ducked out of her stone den, gazing wearily at the newcomer.
---
The landmarks of Minnowpaw's own territory began seeming familiar, and she knew that she was almost to the camp. Thoughts blurred together in her head as she shot through the entrance, panting. Heads turned, alarmed, at the wild apprentice.
"Copperstar...and..Russetheart. And...Applewatcher and Echostep. I need to..speak with them, please." she managed to gasp out, heart racing.
[ Aw, yiss 10/10 fur right there, couldn't have done better myself! ]

[Aww tanks! Cx] Russetheart jumped from her place beside Wolfsky, her fur bristling. "What's wrong?" She asked, her voice making her seem calmer than she really was. First day for most of these apprentices, and they're already making trouble? Dang! They beat my record!
~~~
Echostep poked her tortoiseshell head out of the med den, interested to see why there was so much commotion, and why she had been called.
~~~
Stonefoot unhappily stepped into StoneClan camp. Or, above StoneClan camp rather. He spotted their well hidden camp entrance- a small rabbit hole in the ground. He slowly crawled into the mound, bracing himself for the unwanted cramped feeling he was about to face.
~~~
Quailtail had immediately noticed the stranger in her clans' territory. She didn't like the sound of ThornClan in TorrentClan territory. She wasn't as... Welcoming... As her clanmates. The pale tabby shecat quickly trotted to Robinstar's den, finding Ashfang already there. Quailtail nodded respectfully at the old red cat Robinstar, then glared at the intruder.
