(Alright, so my finals are done and I'd love to start planning if you're up for it. Things are already a lot more calm for me.)

(Well it kind of depends on the genre. Did you want to stick with medieval or do something different?)

(I don't have any medieval ones off the top of my head, but I can try to come up with one. I kind of have an idea for a modern plot but it could be kind of sad, haha.)

(It's not incredibly detailed yet, but basically it would involve a young mother who's husband recently died. It would more or less be a slice-of-life style rp with that as the main plot. I'd have more characters than that where more/different stuff could happen, but yeah that's the general idea. It's not all that exciting so I totally get it if you don't want to do that, haha.)

Cool! Well we can try it and if it flops we can go back to a medieval plot, haha

(Well if you don't mind, I've already got characters in mind for the mom and kids. If you want to rp one of the kids you're welcome to it. I'm planing on having other characters too, both male and female. Friends, other family and whatnot.)

(Alright so the mom is Tavica. She's got an older brother Mark who has a teenage daughter, Lily. There are her parents too. I'm also going to rp a childhood friend Vincent. Tav and Vince and Tav's oldest kid James are really the only ones I'm hung up on rping, so whoever else you want to add is cool with me. I'll probably throw some more friends in there as needed.)

(They're pretty little. James is like 5-6 and he's the oldest. If you want to do twins that could be fun too, that way the kids can actually be roleplayed, haha. I didn't really think about that. Or I could make them older. Doesn't matter to me.)

(Sounds good! And I prefer Anne, but it's your character, haha)

(I appreciate the consideration! I was wondering about starting right after Chris (the husband) dies, rping a little, and then skipping to a month or so later or just skipping straight to a month or so later. I don't know how much super sad stuff I'm up for writing right now, haha)

(Heya, so I'm about to go on a trip where I won't have my laptop/internet access. I figure I'll work on a starter while I'm on the trip and then when I get back we can get started for real. Sorry for being so inactive lately!)

(Sorry, after that trip I had to turn around a day later and go to a wedding, haha. I think I'm finally ready to start if you're still up for it though, so here goes!)
Last night was the first in over a month that Tavica hadn’t woken up in the middle of the light in a panic. She realized this as she was driving her twins to kindergarten one morning. They were silent in the backseat and even Alec, the two year old, was quiet. With the twins dropped off at school and Alec at daycare, Tavica drove silently to work. It was like clockwork every morning. Before the accident, Tavica had mostly been a stay-at-home mom doing an occasional photoshoot and Chris had provided most of the income. Quickly Tavica had realized that she couldn’t support herself and her children on photography alone, so she’d gone out and gotten a job. Well, one of her best friends had gotten her a job. For weeks after Chris’s death, Tavica hadn’t even been able to take care of herself or her kids; she’d just sit in a chair and stare out the window for hours on end. Occasionally she’d still catch herself doing this, though it had gotten better thanks to her friends and family. Today was Tuesday, the day her brother Mark picked up the twins and Alec so she could spend an hour with a few friends without worrying about the kids. After work, she headed to their favorite restaurant for appetizers and maybe some drinks. Tavica was unaware, but Vincent and [your charrie’s name here xD] had arranged these weekly get-togethers to check up on her.
(So I was thinking your charrie could be the one who got her the job. Tav dropped out of college to pursue photography meaning she doesn’t have a college degree so it can’t be anything too fancy, haha. Feel free to pick whatever you want though.)

(It's fine, Flame! ^^ )
(I apologize now if my reply isn't the best. Once we get into things and most of the basics have been covered, I promise to my replies will be better.)
Phallon was already waiting at the restaurant when Tavica arrived. She had less distance to travel when she left work, so she was usually the first person to arrive and pick out the best seats. A corner booth away from the main noise of the room, or sometimes by the bar, depending on the place they choose to meet at. Plus, she always liked to be the first one to greet her friend. It gave them a chance to talk about girl stuff before Vincent showed up. The young woman had known Tavica since high school. Her family moved from their small house in Ireland to America because of a job offer her dad couldn't refuse. Bitter and restful, Phallon had not been the most pleasant the first few days of school. However, somehow she had gravitated towards Tavica, and soon they were best friends. Having a friend had made the transition a bit easier to manage. Now it seemed that it was her turn to help her friend transition into a life without her husband. It was by no means an easy task. How do you help someone get over the loss of their better half? That wasn't something that could be healed over night. However, she could help take some of the stress out of Tav's life by helping her acquire a job. And that's exactly what she did. Last month or so, Phallon had arranged for her friend to be interviewed for a job position of store manager in one of the stores at the mall. It wasn't a glorious job, but the pay was well and it didn't require a lot of skill sets. She just hoped that Tavica was enjoying the work and not suffering through it.

(Nah, it's fine. I feel like I just kind of spewed a lot of information and it’s going to be like that until, like you said, we get the basics covered. It’s a lot more complicated than I thought, haha.)
Tavica made her way into the restaurant assuming Phallon had gotten there first as usual. When she saw her friend, she waved and smiled. It was a small smile, but not forced. That had at least gotten better over the past week or so. For a while she'd been forcing smiles to try to convince herself and others that everything was fine. It was nice to have them come on their own, but it also made her feel slightly guilty, like she was already forgetting Chris. "Hey there," she said sliding her purse off her shoulder and sliding into the booth across from Fallon. Sitting down made her realize how tired she was, but that was nothing new. She always felt tired lately.
(Definitely going to need to get something fun going for them or this is going to be a reeeeaaalllly depressing rp haha)

(True enough!)
Tavica smiled at Phallon’s comment. Vince had never been the best at getting anywhere on time. “At least we don’t meet in the morning otherwise we’d probably have to literally go drag him out of bed,” she teased. Vince had never been a morning person. When their waiter came around again, Tavica ordered a drink and then turned back to her friend. "So, how have you been? I think the last time I saw you was here last Tuesday," she said with a chuckle. At the moment, Tavica didn't make much effort to get out of the house, mostly because of the kids. Babysitters were expensive and Mark already took the kids once a week for her.

"That doesn't sound half bad," Phallon mused. "We could probably dress him up in anything we wanted, and he would still be too asleep to fight against us." The red headed woman loved teasing Vincent. There was no real reason why. They just had that kind of relationship. She teased him, he teased her, and both knew where to draw the line. To anyone, they might have mistaken them for siblings.
"Nothing much has happened for me," she replied. "Spent forty hours at work, dealt with picky clients, and had a horrible date last Friday. I'll spare you the details, but it was just a train wreck. What about you?" The woman's tone shifted from light and playful to gentle concern. "How have things been at work? At home? How are the kids?"

Tavica shrugged. "It's all been fine really. I've gotten much better at, well, managing things," she replied. She'd had several jobs at restaurants and managing smaller stores, but the department store at the mall was definitely a step up from that. She was just grateful there were a few other managers who could help her in the first few weeks. It was also good to have more of a challenge because it kept her mind off everything else.
"The kids seem to be doing well. I can't tell how much Alec really notices. I'm sure you remember the fits he threw for the first few weeks, after... after the accident, but he seems to be alright now." Being only two, Alec probably wouldn't have many memories of his father. The thought made Tavica sad and she knew if she thought about it too much right now she might not be able to keep herself together. "James and Anne... I think they're dealing with everything better than me to be honest." Without those two, Tavica wasn't sure she'd still be able to go about daily life. It was clear they missed their father, but they also sensed Tavica's grief and they were always trying to cheer her up. She had no clue how they did it, but she was certainly glad they did.
