The prince nodded and smiled lightly. That was reassuring to hear on both counts. He wondered once more what Kiran would think of the entire thing. Of course there was only one way to find out and that was asking her opinion on the matter. He glanced at the lion-sized, cat-disguised Cruva beside him for a moment to get a better look. The creature he transformed into was rather startling with its large, protruding teeth and almost menacing eyes. Even though he was thrown a bit off guard by the feline's appearence, he also appreciated the safety it brought him. Very few people would likely try and mess with the half-orc with the feline by his side.
The guard spoke up once more, voicing some of Oswald's thoughts. The prince chuckled. "Well that certianly makes two of us then. Hopefully tomorrow will be our last day. We talk to Ga-Julei and then we can leave." It was easier said then done. They had the meeting at noon and could only hope they would get the information they desiered. For the rest of the trip, Oswald remained unusually quiet. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk, but he had a lot on his mind. Eventually the pair reached the tavern. A mix of emotion swirled within the half-orc. Nervousness. Excitment. Concern. Confidence. Drawing in a deep breath, Oswald entered in.

Drawing in a deep breath, Oswald entered in. Tomorrow being their last day seemed a little too hopeful in his eyes, however he didn't voice this. Rather, the demon kept his thoughts to himself. There was too much to be done to have them only be around for another day, especially when one took into consideration what Kiran actually wanted. She didn't want answers, she wanted revenge, an act that he'd been ordered not to bar her from. Not that he would've... at least, he wouldn't have tried bery hard to do so, that is. No, the fed on the chaos, on the wrath she would inflict should they reach their goal. Sure, this wasn't her typical nature, but she was something else when she was betrayed. He would admit, however, that he was unsure of how she meant to go about achieving her goals. He had also briefly wondered if the queen knew of her goals, though it was unlikely. As the entered the tavern, Cruva was very quick to take notice of who was and wasn't present. He answer noticed the way patrons looked at him, though it seemed they were quick to turn away from him. "She isn't back yet." The guard had no way of knowing where his summoner was, not unless he was called. All he knew was that he was no currently within a close proximity of her, which meant she hadn't returned. It was odd - he would have thought that she'd have been the first of the four to return. Then again, he didn't have a way of knowing what she was up to.

Oswald glanced around the main room, taking in the sights of the tavern. There were already a few drunk patrons at the bar while another few were enjoying an evening meal. The atmosphere was rather jolly though it wasn't nearly as lively as it had been during his and Kiran's drunken antics from the night before. The prince was fine with that. There was no need for distractions with the fresh information on their minds. Cruva noted that Kiran was missing. Oswald frowned. "You think we should find her or wait until she shows back up?"
He wasn't sure if they should worry about the princess. She was quite capable and knew how to take care of herself. Even still a part of Oswald couldn't help but worry. The prince took another glance around the room. Most people were sitting in groups and chatting. Very few people were sitting alone. As the man studied the people, he noticed a familiar face. Surprisingly, Tempest sitting in the corner having an evening meal. He gestered to the woman for Cruva to notice.
"Maybe she's seen Kiran." The words were more for him than for the demon. If something happened to the princess...well the consequences would be troubling.

Kellan had traded all her cooler, desert clothing for something thicker and more suited for the mountainous climate. Her boots were done and practically good as new and she had made modifications to her cloak clapse like she did to all of them. If the garment got caught or snagged on anything, it would pull away from the thief. It worked as a safety measure and a distraction if she needed it. Now with everything she needed to do done, the blonde was enjoying a stew at the tavern. She read over the messages she copied from Belladona. Some things didn't add up, which bothered her. Beyond that she had questions. Questions that only the other woman could answer. As she hunched over the pages, she noticed the half-orc walk in sporting a new animal companion.
"Interesting," she mumbled.

He wasn't worried, not yet. Had it been the next morning he would feel something akin to worry. Something that was probably worry but he wouldn't dare call it as such. Demons didn't worry, especially not those of his standing. No, they were above human emotions. Then again, six years blending into a society you didn't belong to changed things. Still, as it stood, he was not concerned. Kiran could more than handle herself as far as he was concerned, and so it was not something he would concern himself with. Not yet. So, he answered with, "It's better to wait." Expending energy looking for her in a kingdom they weren't completely familiar with would be a waste of time, which made it a more logical decision to stay in one spot.
Rather, he focused on the gesture the prince gave, eyes quickly landing on the thief. Tail flicking briefly, he started towards her without waiting for the half-orc. He would give up his current vessel until he knew they were done for the night, which was currently at an undetermined time. Once he did give it up, however, somebody would have to claim it as it's changes wouldn't be reversed. A loyal animal companion from a demon prince... Not something that happened every day. It would be a shame if he had to turn the thing feral, though that meant he'd be at liberty to make more, create a new species if he wanted. That wouldn't be half bad... Focusing back on the task at hand, he found that it hadn't taken long to get to the woman.
Her odd power source seemed... Well, a little more accessible, more familiar to him. Perhaps he hadn't been too far off when he assumed a descendant of a deity. Well, this wasn't his focus right now, but it was interesting to him. Rather, he took note that she was reading something, though he could only assume it had nothing to do with why the rest of them were here. After all, she was the least invested of the four of them. "Looks like you had a productive night," Cruva mused. He didn't particularly care what she was reading, but he supposed it would at least be something eye-catching if she found it worth taking.

The half-orc glanced at the lion-sized feline and nodded. He had a point in waiting. They had only just arrived and it was unlikely she was that much further behind. Pushing the worry from his mind, Oswald turned his attention towards the thief. After pointing her out to Cruva, the cat-disguised demon began to head her way. The prince followed closely behind, noticing a few glances her got from the various patrons in the room. He fought to ignore them, they weren't the center of his focus currently. Tempest seemed to notice their approch as she seemed to straighten a little and eyed them as they reached her table. She sighed, which didn't surprise Oswald. It was no secret she wasn't fond of the royals or the guard. When they reached her table, Cruva spoke up, noting whatever distracted her.
Much to her annoyance, the prince approched her. It wasn't that she was disinterested in his story or how he came to have such an usual creature. She was curious about what exactly he had been up to. No, it had less to do with that and more to do with drawing attention to her. Kell's strengths lied in remaining unseen and hiding in plain sight. The noticable creature would have the opposite effect. Before she had a chance to protest their arrival, the strange creature actually spoke. The thief studied the cat-like beast for a moment. A pair of canines protruded from his mouth, it was roughly the size of some sort of big cat, and most noticeable of all was it's two sets of eyes. Familiar eyes. Two were wide-eyed and the other was such a faint gray that it was nearly white. It was the demon.
A slight smile tugged at the woman's lips. "Seems like I wasn't the only one. I'm sure we all have questions, but I believe it would be wise to go somewhere more private to continue our conversarion." She was sure they had questions or things they wanted to tell her. She also had questions for them. With her food more or less finished, Kell packed up her things and didn't really wait for either of them to answer. She didn't like the attention the unusual creature brought. She never knew who could be watching nor could she be too careful.

The royal guard was unconcerned about the attention he drew for several reasons. He could dispose of those who became a problem and he was intimidating enough that people were less likely to approach. Most importantly, however, was the fact that he didn't care. Besides, a good portion of the patrons were already drunk, and would think he was something of their imagination. Even if they weren't, it wouldn't be hard to make it seem like they had imagined his vessel. That, or make it seem like it had always existed. As a demon, he was proficient in illusion magic. While it wasn't his favorite type, he still used it.
When she suggested moving elsewhere, he only gave a slight nod. As she picked up her things, the demon turned and headed off towards the stares that lead to the rooms he more or less 'rented' for them. The room he had claimed for himself was the only one that he could assume had gone completely untouched by him as he really had no use for it. Still, he'd left it unlocked as he also had no valuables in it. Once upstairs, Cruva let himself in to the room, having not once checked if the others were there as well. Rather he took the chance to leave the vessel, reclaiming his natural form in mixture of shadows and smoke. The altered cat's eyes regained their crystal blue color as it essentially collapsed on the floor besides the bed. Like himself, it was exhausted, which he found was fair.
The demon essentially collapsed on the bed, wanting nothing more than to sleep. He was tired, needed down time to replenish his energy reserves, and quite frankly had grown rather fond of sleeping. Still, he supposed there was a conversation to be held. Looking to the others, he heaved a sigh. "One of you needs to claim it, or I'll let it loose. I don't care which." He wanted to deal with the creature he'd created before they spoke about anything else. Sure, he was fond of it as it was something he'd made, but he had no reason to keep it. Looking down at the enlarged feline, he met its expectant eyes. Right, it was still bound to him, waiting for a direction. "Relax," he muttered, watching as the command was well received. The creature closed a pair of its eyes, teeth seemingly retracting as it laid its head on its paws. Well, at least now all it looked like was a black panther.

The demon didn't really wait for either of them as he headed towards the stairs. As the thief finished collecting her things, Oswald followed behind the disguised guard. A few more people watched them go, but no one stopped them. The prince wasn't exactly surprised. It seemed everyone was too drunk to care or were afraid of the unusual-looking creature. The prince was relieved for that. He would rather not be confronted by anyone and finish the night without conflict. Oswald ascended the stairs as Cruva led them to his own room. Tempest trailed just behind them silently. With impressive dexterity, the guard opened the door. Almost as soon as he entered, he seprated himself from the former cat.
Kellan followed the pair into the demon's room. She noticed how tidy the room was kept. It meant he either didn't use it or liked to keep his space clean. The thief didn't dwell on it long as she watched the demon's transformation. Like with the basilisk from a few days before, shadows seemed to consume the cat-like creature before Cruva split off from it. The animal passed out beside the bed, clearly exhausted from whatever he was put through. Cruva did the same, flopping onto his bed. Like with the basilisk, he seemed completely drained from the expierence. Kell took note of it just as the guard spoke up. Either she or Oswald needed to claim the creature. It appeared to be docile now, but that only seemed to be because the demon commanded it so. The thought of the creature running lose did concern her, though she didn't voice her thoughts.
"Why can't you keep it or even give it to Kiran?" Oswald asked quickly. His eyes wandered towards the resting beast. He was fine being around it when Cruva was in control. Now? It made him uneasy. There was no predicting what it could do or how anyone could handle the feline. He knew when the Cerberus had been created, it came with unusual abilities and adaptations unseen in any creatures people were used to. The thought of potential destruction the creature could cause worried the half-orc. Before he could delve further into his thoughts, he thought it better to ask about It seemed the only way to understand how to work with the animal was to ask.
"How would it even be controlled? Is it intelligent enough to follow any orders it's given? What if the wrong thing is said? Could it be stopped or would it contiune with its commands? What kind of things can it do? Also how dangerous would you say it is?" Oswald asked a flood of questions all at once. It was something he did whenever he was nervous. As a scholar. it was also an effect of wanting to know, to understand how things worked. "Honestly I'm not sure either of us could handle such a creature." He wasn't sure if he was ready for the cat to belong to anyone but the demon. Cruva, or even Kiran, would likely have a better idea on how to care for such a beast.
Kell watched the prince for a moment. It was clear he was uneasy, maybe even afraid of the creature now that it was seprated from the demon. The thief rolled her eyes and snorted. "Speak for yourself. I could definitely handle it." Most of it was the arrogance talking. She was skilled in many areas. Taking care of an animal would be no different. In fact, she figured it would be easy enough to handle the feline. Her eyes wandered towards the cat, watching as the beast retracted its protruding teeth back into its mouth. Now it was more akin to a black panther that just happened to have two sets of eyes. It was certainly a percuiler creature.

Keep it? He had no use for it. There was no reason as to why he needed an additional companion when he could handle himself - in his opinion, having an animal following him around would make his life much harder than it needed to be. As for Kiran... "I don't need it, and she won't want it. I've already proposed making her a companion, but she hopes to follow in her ancestor's footsteps and get a companion from Julko." The hunting deity was... well, temperamental, at best. Not in a bad way, but it took too much to gain their favor if you asked him. Then again, he'd only encountered them once, so it what he knew was main from texts and tales that others spun. Still, he supposed it wasn't a bad thing to strive for, especially considering how much she loved her land's gods.
His thoughts were interrupted as Oswald began with an onslaught of questions. Right, he should've expected as much. Even after spending the better part of a day with him, the demon would never be used to the large amount of questions the other always seemed compelled to ask. Sighing gently, he let his eyes slip closed as the answers rolled off his tongue. "Verbal commands and gestures finalized with the first command. Yes, it is. You tell it to stop. It can likely wipe out a small town on its own, three of them could take this particular town if they remained undetected." The answers came smoothly as if he'd known them his whole life, though he opened his eyes with the half-orc's last statement. Well, he wouldn't be surprised the man truly couldn't handle the new beast, but the thief...
It seemed she already had an opinion on the statement, and she made it quite known. "Interesting," Cruva mused lowly, eyes sliding down to the feline who seemed rather content at the moment. It was likely just happy to be getting a break, one that was well deserved. It's second set of eyes were practically invisible, though in the current lighting one could just see the line indicating that they were merely closed. Sitting up slowly, he turned to face the two. "Well, make a decision. Then we can talk about what we all did today - that's what we're up here for, yes?"

Oswald nodded slowly. He supposed it made sense from what he knew about the princess. Kiran was dedicated to her people and her family's tradtions. Besides that, refusing a creature of the demon's creation probably also help keep her guard's secret. Even as a royal, people would still be suspicious of where she would get such a beast. He was also sure the Zaestrin queen didn't know about Cruva's true nature. With a creature changed by a demon at her side, it would be a lot of explaining to do on Kiran's part. Oswald could feel his confidence draining and the unease returning. He was beginning to realize the weight of the situation. The creature- which was likely extremely dangerous -would either belong to him or the theif. The longer he regarded the animal, the less sure he became.
Oswald quietly exhaled and turned his attention back towards Cruva. After the prince had asked his jumble of questions, the guard seem to consider his words. He answered everything at once with impressive speed. It appeared the demon didn't even need to really think about it. With the description the demon gave, the prince only became more nervous and unsure. His brown eyes flickered towards Tempest as she boasted about how she could handle the creature. It earned an eyeroll from the prince just as Cruva made a comment.
Kell eyed the demon for a moment. What did he mean by 'interesting'? Her attention turned back towards Oswald as the other man sat up. He nervously glanced between the her and the others in the room. As she narrowed her gaze Cruva mentioned wanting an answer. The their took another look at Oswald. Was he shaking?! Kell rolled her eyes again. She did not trust the half-orc with the creature and she was sure he barely trusted himself. The thief let out a long sigh and glanced at the demon guard.
"Fine. I'll take him. I don't think Prince I-Second-guess-all-my-decisions is a good match anyway." She wanted to get to the reason for them being there in the first place. If they continued to talk about the creature, it was less time they had to discuss other matters. Kell didn't want to be there any longer than she had to. She glanced towards Oswald and noticed him glaring at her for the comment. Kell only smirked. He didn't say anything more and actually seemed to have calmed down some. So he agreed with her observation then. Kellan turned away from him and gazed at the demon.
"A decision has been made. Now what?"

Truth be told, the demon didn't care who took it. If they took it, that is. He'd be just as content letting it into the wilderness and making more of them. After all, he was quite sure they'd prosper in the mountainous region. Still, it seemed the pair before him were genuinely considering taking the beast, so he wouldn't do anything just yet. Rather, he took into account Oswald's growing nervousness as his questions were answered. Soon enough it seemed he was shaking and part of him couldn't help but be slightly disappointed - it would've been interesting to see how he would've handle his creation. Still, it be equally so with the thief, just in a different way.
Soon enough, a decision was made, one that the woman earned a glare for. A slight grin morphing his features, he looked down at the feline giving a slight hum and a nod toward the blonde. The animal followed his gesture, blue eyes landing on the thief. With a low chirp of recognition, the beast rested its head on its paws once more, one pair of eye closed and the other trained on the woman. "It's done," Cruva muttered, looking back to the pair once more.
As she questioned what was next, he gave a slight shrug. "I suppose we should get to what we came up for, yes? Rolling his shoulders, he glanced between the pair. His only true point of interest was what the half-blood mentioned of Indra while they were there for the ring. Sure, he was satisfied that they knew who Ga-Julei was, however that was more Kiran's and Oswald's priority. He was simply here because he was bound to be, nothing more, nothing less. "I think we've figured out the odd source of thunder tonight. It's also likely we've granted the four of us immunity within the kingdom through Ga-Julei. I'm sure Oswald would be more than happy to detail the trip to you." In all honesty, he was just too tired to do it himself.

Kellan watched as the demon slightly smiled and gestered to her. The creature lifted its head and watched her through tired blue eyes for a moment. It made a noise before putting its head back down. The theif waited for a moment to see if the feline or the demon would do anything more. Neither moved. She tilted her head and frown lightly. "That wasn't as flashy as I thought it'd be."
The prince was inclined to agree but didn't dare voice that opinion. Instead, Oswald raised his brow and glanced at the theif for a moment. "Is that a bad thing?"
The theif glanced at him and thought for a moment. "I don't know."
The prince shrugged before turning towards Cruva as he spoke. Right, their reason for meeting in the first place. "Yes, we're all tired so we should move on for our reason for being here. I'm not sure about you, but we've had a very productive day."
"Good for you," Kell replied simply. There was no sarcasm in her tone, just a bit of flatness to it. She didn't exactly care about what they did, but also knew a productive day wasn't a bad thing. Oswald noticeably frowned. Did he expect more? Was he looking for her to ask questions about the nature of their day? The thief couldn't be sure. "Well as I said good for you. Find anything interesting?" The prince smiled. So he did want her to press for details then. Perhaps he wanted to brag or maybe he was genuinely interested in sharing information with her. Kell wasn't sure but also wasn't one to complain about gaining knowledge.
"Although I would've liked to have waited for Kiran to share this, we found Ga-Julei. We talked to him and have a meeting set for tomorrow," the half-orc proudly proclaimed. Kell blinked in surprise, finding herself leaning in slightly. Interesting. That's certainly something. The thief had no personal vendetta aganist the man. However she had interested in the mysterious figure and wanted to know more. Now the princeling was telling her he had a meeting with him? It was very interesting indeed.
"So how did this come about anyway?" Kellan asked. Oswald glanced towards Cruva as if to ask if he wanted to say anything.

“If you want flashy I’d suggest finding a lust or greed demon - a prince of wrath is only flashy in battle.” The demon had no reason to be flashy. He was not here to impress a half-orc and a woman he suspected to have the blood of a deity. Honestly, he had better things he could be doing rather than be here. Unfortunately, this had become part of his summons, so he was stuck here until the job was done. Or until Kiran fell, though that was something he didn’t want to think about. He’s grown rather fond of her over the past few years, not that he would openly admit such a thing.
Rather than dwell on it, he let his eyes close as he listened to the pairs exchange. As it stood, he didn’t quite care for what they were talking about as it didn’t sound like it concerned him just yet. He listened as the prince told her that they had a meeting with the informant, though was mildly surprised that he didn’t delve into detail about the night’s events. Not that it mattered to him, but he’d just assumed that he would. Whatever... soon enough the women was posing a question, but no answer came. Opening his eyes, the guard found eyes were on him. Oh, so he was meant to answer this question? And why couldn’t Oswald do it? For somebody who asked so many questions it seemed he was not apt to answer them. Tails flicking behind him, he gave a slight shrug initially. “Found him in some building the darker side of the town favors. He agreed to tell us about Ga-Julei should we procure a ring and we did. The half-blood.... you should speak with her,” he muttered, glancing at Tempest. The vixen’s information could potentially help her figure out her own energy.
Cruva contjnued without waiting for a response, rolling his shoulders. “He’s a man of his word, I’ll admit. Revealed his identity, told us he was hired by a noble of sorts. The noble owes him money, and Kiran and the prince want answers, so it’s a partnership formed out of convenience. He wants to meet everyone tomorrow to ensure he knows who he’s granting immunity.” It was amazing such an elf would have the city in his pocket. It wasn’t that it was impossible, though to him it seemed unlikely. The man didn’t seem like he would be much of a fighter, though the weapons he’d had on the wall seemed to beg to differ. “I’m sure this will speed up the process, and we’ll all be free to return to our previous affairs.”

Prince of wrath? Kell tilted her head curiously. She knew next to nothing about demons, so it didn't mean anything to her. It had to be something she found out for herself at some point it seemed. She turned her attention to Oswald who began to raddle off their activities for the night. The thief nodded along as she listened to the half-orc. After she asked about what lead up to the discovery, the prince had fallen silent. Kell gestered for him to continue. Instead, he glanced towards Cruva and frowned. With a quiet sigh he turned back and opened his mouth to speak. Before he could get a word out, the demon answered.
Kellan's gaze shifted towards the other man. He spoke about another criminal hangout within the small town and some shopkeeper. The thief raised her brow. Before she had a chance to ask anything, the demon continued. As he spoke about Ga-Julei, a few things stood out to the theif. He sounded up front and honest. A man of his word as Cruva had put it. He was also one willing to make deals with people who were enemies of his clients. Of course that meant he would gain something more from the partnership. It was money. Kell nodded. It was quite likely the man would be looking for something more than money. Or at least it seemed that way to the thief. Criminals like Ga-Julei usually had something more they wanted from partnerships. Something that isn't obvious at first. As she thought the information over, something stood out in her mind.
"Wait. When you say he wants to meet everyone, what do you mean? Is it like everyone who came here everyone or everyone who this concerns everyone?" Although she already knew the answer, she wanted to ask anyway. Information interested her, but she wasn't exactly keen on joining the other three in the meeting. There were possible risks if people found out she was in Ereva. The woman pushed the thoughts from her mind as Oswald spoke up.
"Everyone as in everyone including you," the prince answered. He noticed how she rolled her eyes shoulders sank for a moment. It was clear she didn't like the prospect of going with them. He didn't care. It actually might be good to have a criminal with us anyway, the man reasoned. "Anyway, you now know more or less what we've been up to. How about you?"
The theif shrugged. "Nothing much. I had a stroll through the city and really only got a few things for the mountains." It was true more or less. He hadn't asked for details and she both were things she had done. "Now if that's all, are we done here?"

He was unconcerned about what else Ga-Julei may possibly get out of this. It didn't matter to him unless Kiran asked him to look into it or it became a problem. Until then, he had no reason to look into the man further than they already had tonight. There would be more time for it tomorrow when they met with him once more. It would be easier that way, anyhow. As it stood, he was exhausted and had no plans of leaving the bed unless he absolutely had to. Sure, he was a demon, but a tired low-functioning demon was almost useless. He wouldn't be able to perform another possession, and large number of his abilities were out of the question.
The demon didn't pay too much attention after he said his peace, merely listening as the pair sorted out what 'everyone' meant in terms of tomorrow. It was an easy enough concept, really, so he didn't truly see the reason for the question. Still, it seemed they were able to clear it up on their own and it was clear the thief was unhappy with the answer she received. No surprise there. It'd been clear from the start that she didn't want to be here, and in his opinion, it was a wonder that she hadn't run off yet. Sure, Oswald had offered to clear her bounties in Mithra, but that did nothing for the other two kingdoms. The way he saw it, this wasn't worth it. Still, it was her own decision and it seemed she planned to stick by it.
He didn't find himself paying much attention until she spoke about what she'd done that day. The phrases that rang out to him were 'nothing much' and everything that followed 'only'. They rang out because they were lies. Almost of omission, but something a little further. She'd done more, that much Cruva could tell from whatever the hell she'd been reading earlier. Still, it seemed she wanted to keep her happenings to herself. Fine by him - it meant he'd be able to get more rest. Still, he couldn't help but watch her intently for a moment, a small part of him wondering exactly what she wasn't divulging. "I suppose we are since you don't seem keen on speaking about what else you did," he answered, laying back down. For somebody who had suggested moving to continue a conversation that had barely started, she didn't seem happy to be speaking with them.
The demon didn't quite care if she didn't want to spill the details of her day. Based solely on her lack of involvement, they would mean nothing to him anyway. What that really meant was it would mean nothing to Kiran. Of course, it didn't change the fact that whatever she had done or found earlier in the day could possibly pose a threat, but as it stood, he saw to reason to truly press. "The meeting is at noon, by the way," he muttered, closing his eyes. "You should look into Claiborne - I think you'd like her." The last statement was an idle musing. He himself was considering heading back to the shop if there was time to do so, as it seemed the half-blood could become useful in a way that Ga-Julei could not.

There was that shopkeeper, Claibourn, again. It was the second time Cruva had mentioned her. The thief simply nodded, though was quite curious about the woman. She couldn't help but wonder why the demon was pushing her to see the woman. Did he have something to gain from such a meeting. Although Kell would consider it, she also wouldn't make a rush to go see it for herself. For all she knew, it was something the half-orc and the guard planned together and anything involving Oswald wasn't anything she would want to rush into. Of course that was making assumptions. The thief did that from time to time. With a wave of her hand, she began to leave the room. Only something stopped her.
"Oh one more thing, Tempest." The woman slightly turned her head and sighed. She just wanted to go. Oswald cleared his throat before continuing. "Did you hear that boom earlier today? Did you see the damage it did? "
She didn't want to answer. Even though she had been honest with what she told the pair, it seemed the demon still picked up on some kind of deception on part. "Yes," she simply answered. Try finding something in that, she thought as she glanced towards the demon. She did see the aftermath of her thunderpush and had, obviously, heard the boom. Kellan wanted to leave it at that, but found herself pausing. "What do you think it was?"
Oswald blinked in surprise. He didn't expect the thief to stay any longer than she needed. He also didn't think she had anymore questions. Of course it didn't bother Oswald. The prince shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure. Cruva thinks it's a descendant of Indra the Mithran storm goddess, though." Tempest, as usual for the half-orc, was hard to read. After a moment, she simply nodded. She mumbled something towards the transformed feline and gestered with her hand. Through one set of blue eyes, it blinked at her and slowly got up, slowly trailing after her. After she left, Oswald turned towards the demon.
"So, uh do you think Kiran's back yet? Can you sense her because of your contract?" Oswald wasn't sure if he knew when she was close and vice versa. It was getting late and he was beginning to become worried for the woman. Sure she could take care of herself, but in a town like the one they currently resided, he didn't exactly trust that there wouldn't be trouble. He glanced at the demon guard. He would know what to do.

He didn’t bother listening any further to the exchange, laying down once more and closing his eyes. He didn’t care for the question, nor her answer, as he’d already come to his own conclusions about the event. Whether she cared for them or not didn’t bother him, but he had no plans on sharing unless specifically asked. As far as he was concerned they no longer needed to speak with him, and he could thusly get some well deserved rest. Or, that’s what he thought, that’s is.
It wasn’t long before the prince was posing another question and he opened one near white eye. “She isn’t in the immediate area, nor has she called,” Cruva answered simply. He currently had no way of knowing where his summoner was, and wasn’t particularly bothered by this fact just yet. Rather, he was quite sure that she was fine and had likely become distracted by some other minuscule task. He had no reason to be concerned, and would remain this way until morning if nothing changed. Still, he knew this wasn’t the answer the other wanted to hear. Opening the rest of his eyes, he turned his head slightly to fully look at the other. “Are you implying you’re concerned?”
He didn’t actually care for the answer one way or the other, but the demon found it best to ask at this point. He didn’t wait too long for an answer, however, figuring it was best to propose something. An idea that he hoped the other would find soothing. “Look, if she isn’t back in say, an hour, we can find for her. Sound good?”
(Yuh I just thought about this - was Belladonna gonna make a comeback or did she just dip)

The demon had detected his worry. Of course he did, though it wasn't like the prince was even trying to hide it. He really had no reason to. As the guard spoke, Oswald simply nodded along. What he was saying made sense. They had only just arrived themselves after all. Perhaps she wasn't too far behind. "Yeah, I think that's good. I'll wait down in the tavern to keep an eye out for her." Sure, she could take care of herself, but the prince couldn't help but worry. It was simply in his nature. He turned to go, then paused at the door. He didn't want to be rude and end things right there.
"I think I should leave you to rest now that we got all that sorted out." He slightly hesitated for a reply, but left after a moment. Cruva would say something if he was needed. Besides that, they needed the demon at full strength for tomorrow. Even if Ga-Julei seemed credible, Oswald was still uneasy at the prospect of the meeting. There was no telling what could happen. With a soft sigh he headed into the hall. Taking a quick glance, he noticed Tempest and her new companion heading towards her room. He paused and called after her. The woman turned, unhappy with it.
"Yes?" She asked flatly, though there was a slight hint of annoyance in her voice. Oswald rolled his eyes. He didn't want to deal with her obvious contempt for him. Instead of pointing it out, he just spoke.
"Kiran still hasn't returned, so I'm going to wait downstairs for her. If she doesn't come back in an hour, we'll be going to look for her." Cruva was weakened after the poession. Oswald wasn't sure he would be well enough to search for the other royal, contract or not. He would need help and the theif was the only person he could get it from. Unfortunately. The woman simply waved him off. It was good enough. With nothing else to do, he descended the steps and sat alone at one of the tables, beginning his wait.

Kell began to make her way to her own room. She was tired and a bit irrtated. Though not to the point of exhaustion like Cruva, but certainly she needed a rest. In fact, she felt unusually tired. I jumped. That's why. She had used up whatever energy she had on the thunderpush and was now feeling the effects of it. As for the irritation, it came from Oswald. If anyone had told her she would be dragged into meeting the infamous informat, she would be irrtated at them. But it had been the prince and she was already displeased with him to say the least. As she passed by his room, she paused for a moment. An idea popped into her head. For having me go along with this plan, being a general annoyance, and bringing me along in the first place, he deserves to be messed with. A mischevious grin formed on her lips as she glanced at his door. She would take something of his. Nothing vauble, but something that he would obsess over for days in a desprate search. Then she would put it back, leaving him wondering how it happened. Before she could keep going, Oswald's voice called her.
"Yes?" She could tell the prince had something on his mind. She wasn't interested in what he had to say. In fact simply standing there irrtated her more and only made the urge to enact her plan more enticing. The prince quickly said something about Kiran and waiting down stairs before leaving altogether. She wasted no more time in the hallway. Scurrying into her room, Kell let the feline in and grabbed her lock picking tools before heading back to Oswald's door. After a few minutes of messing with the lock, the door finally clicked and she slipped in. Closing the door behind her, she took a quick look around the room to find something to take. Her eyes landed on the desk. Surely there would be something vauble enough in there. She began to dig through the desk, hoping to find something good.
After going through the drawers for a moment, Kellan managed to pull out a small, leather pouch. It was pulled closed with string and clearly well-used. Drawing it open, she was greeted with glowing, marbled gems. Glowy stones? She thought as she carefully rolled one if the cool gems between her fingers. The precious stones were for only those who could afford it, which was typically the Mithran elite. Kellan had never been one of them. Stealing the unusual gems was also out of the question as people were oddly protective of the little things. It was likely due to their value and potential use as an energy source. The gems were only found in Mithra and came in four types; blues white, gray, and purple. Each was slightly translucent and had an even marbling of a light and dark shade of the same color.
For a few minutes, she looked over one of each type of gem curiously. She placed them all back in the bag, but hesitated closing it. If she took a few from the bag, perhaps it would be enough to cause him to think twice and question himself once she placed it back. The thief closed her eyes for a moment to think about it and softly breathed in, suddenly feeling a bit more awake. Kellan snapped her eyes opened and looked around, then glanced down at the bag. Wisps of colorful light slightly glowed and danced around the top of the bag. As the woman focused on it, she realized she could feel a low humming of energy coming from it. She could almost feel it in her chest like a faint storm. It was almost calling to her in a strange way. She closed her eyes again and drew in a deep breath. When she snapped her blue eyes open, she could see the vapor had grown brighter and that she was breathing it in!
A small frightened part wanted to stop, to turn away and run. But breathing in the light just felt right. So she stood her ground and stayed. Another moment passed and the vapor faded as did the light from half the stones. She had breathed in all of the light. Somehow. That wasn't the only odd thing she noticed. She felt stronger and the tiredness that once weighed her down had melted away. She wanted to move ans run atop the roofs of the town like she had done in Mithra. It was almost like there was a storm inside, urging her to act. It was vaguely familair yet so new, Kell couldn't even begin to understand it.
There was something else, one last thing that was different about her. Kell closed her eyes and lightly reached out into herself. There were eight distinct sources of something she could sense. They mesmerized her, pulled her to them. She began to reach towards the reserves, she wanted to really feel them. She wanted to understand them. Use them. Then she stopped. No, she couldn't do it there in the prince's room. She couldn't do it with the guard only a few doors down. She had to do it in a more controlled area, somewhere relatively safe. Kell pulled out one of each type of gem and shoved it in her pocket before closing the leather bag. She put it back in it's original place and slipped out of the room without being seen.
(Sorry for Kell's wall of text. I have ideas and wanted to get them rolling. As for Belladona, I'm not entirely sure. I imagine she would probably stay overnight to get healed. Did you want to do something with her?)
