Dani was going for her daily run. Every day, the dog girl went for a run through the streets of the city, sometimes more than once. The last time she'd missed one was when she had sprained her ankle falling out of a tree. Yes, Dani enjoyed climbing trees and she saw no need to stop that... Unfortunately trees were not as common in the city as she'd like. Of course, even Dani would admit that it was probably best for her... She didn't need to be injured again. She'd grown up in the city and it was all she'd ever known. While Dani wouldn't mind leaving the city and exploring other parts of the country, but she just didn't have that ability. So, she was just happy with her daily jogs and her current search for a job. Well, that was getting a little more desperate. The girl was already low on funds, and she hadn't had much luck on finding a job. Yeah, she had some problems. No job. No school. Not many friends. That wasn't very new to Dani, but she was perfectly fine with how her life was going. Well, she wasn't, but she was trying to improve it, so that was something. Of course, she didn't seem to be thinking of that as she ran down the sidewalk, dodging and ducking around people. Her big ears pointed forward and her tail wagged behind her as she ran, even as she ignored annoyed comments that were almost hit by the girl. "Sorry!" she called, turning back to yell the apologize towards an older man that almost dropped his briefcase when Dani had run past him. She turned to look forwards again, laughing. Unfortunately, she had turned her head to watch a young couple sitting at a table outside of a cafe. When she looked forward again, her smile disappeared as she noticed a boy walking in the opposite direction. She tried to stop herself, but was moving much too fast. She moved to the side to avoid him, but her foot hit a crack in the side walk and she went down, reaching for the only thing she could reach. They tumbled to the ground and she let out a quiet oof as she landed flat on the sidewalk. Dani sat up, glaring at the cuts on her knees and elbows. They stung, but they were the same kind of cuts that every little kid when they fell off a bike or tripped like she just hand. Remember what she'd tried to grab when she fell, Dani turned to look at the boy. "Oh, uh, I'm sorry," she said, her ears folding backwards like a dog that was just yelled at. She stood up, dusting from dirt from her clothes. Her tail hung limply behind her as she reached out a hand to help him up. 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖

Ace was winning. This was a small victory and may not be related to fighting at all, but Cen had given in and agreed to come alone with him. That was a victory in Ace's book even if other people just figured it was Cen wanting to get rid of Ace. He followed Cen to the little smoking area, glancing around to see if anyone was approaching. That last thing he needed was to get in trouble for fighting. Especially if it was Cen. "Ace it, huh?" Ace asked with a small smirk. "Sure, I can take the test for ya. Coulda just asked, bud." There was nothing friendly about the offer. Sure, Ace would gladly take the test for Cen, but he'd totally bomb it and maybe get a question right. Maybe. If he was lucky. That would obviously do wonders for his grades... It just wouldn't bring the grades up. Cen snorted in disbelief "As if. There's no way I'd trust my grades to someone like-" he looked Ace up and down pointedly "You." there was nothing but bitterness in his voice, though the tone he kept was still a fake friendly one. If someone walked by he didn't want them to think they were fighting until they really were. He had a scholarship for good grades to keep after all.Ace smirked when Cen looked him up and down. "Yeah, I know I'm a good looking dude, but we're here to fight," Ace reminded him, his arms crossed. Even with the fake friendly tone, he knew that Cen did not want to be here with him. He glanced around to make sure nobody was walking by before pulling his arm back and aiming a punch at Cen's face, hoping to take the guy by surprise. (Uh so I don't have much experience with fighting scenes so these will probably be shorter than usual and not very good I'm sorry)

How are you wanting this to end? A draw? A teacher coming and them having to cut it off? One winning??)
Cen pitched sideways, narrowly avoiding the attack. He took a step away from Ace to get some distance before he dropped into a fighting position of his own. His ears were standing upright and he actually looked ready to fight now. Not the unsteady dodge he had first done when Ace had taken him by surprise.

(Hmmmm I'm not sure. Since Cen won their last fight I'd say either a draw/someone stopping them or Ace winning. What do you think?)
Ace growled when Cen dodged his his first attack. He'd hoped that he could have the element of surprise. While he'd clearly caught Cen by surprise, there wasn't enough surprise. It didn't take long for the other guy to recover himself, Ace found himself in his fighting position, eyes narrowed as he tried to strategize.

Hmm I don't really mind either way. I can see a teacher coming to stop them though since they are on school grounds.)
Cen dashed forwards, lashing out with a swift kick. He was much better when it came to a kickboxing style of fighting. Ace was fast as well, he would have to be tricky if he wanted to land a hit.

Sorreni Cascade Walters type 4 hybrid (gentoo penguin, veiled chameleon, florida white rabbit, and rose breasted cockatoo) Sorreni wasn't even surprised. The only thing that would ever shock her is Cres choosing to sleep on her own volition. Once that happened, Sorreni would be left to believe anything could happen. Shame it wouldn't now. The mixed hybrid let out a breathy sigh, hiding a "figured" within it. It was too much to even hope for.
She tossed away the feeling, to raise an eyebrow. "Really? I would love to read that, once you are finished with it of course." It was difficult not to have a fascination with your family history when one of them was the greatest hybrid to ever live. Though Sorreni was not the current Chamo, she couldn't help but be amazed that she was related to him. She actually preferred the work she was doing compared to Chamo's stage performances. The idea of orchestrating things behind the scenes fit her much better, as despite her getting along fine with people in person, she would never like the attention that would have come with taking on Chamo's role.
"Of course I got it at Hummingbird. I don't know what other coffee shop I could go to for coffee and regret my choice immediately with all the noise. My standards for annoying coffee shops are high, and finding anything else is impossible." Despite her dislike of the shop, it was still her favourite. She hated the noise, but going to a quiet cafe was out of the question. A place with better coffee? Not going to happen. She was a loyal rabchamguintoo when it came to that.
She lightly followed Cres into the kitchen, unaware of her sister's plans. Until she got out the caffeine-high drink. And paled all over. "Wait - don't -" It was too late and Sorreni could only allow her shoulders to dip in disappointment. She needed to hide the soda. Or toss it out. Hide the money afterwards to make sure her sister didn't get anymore. With a sigh, she shook her head. The most she could do now was probably take her sister's drink away. But Sorreni didn't suppose it would change anything.
"Well, you have an interview later today. They are going to try and get your new act out of you today. Don't tell them, no matter how they try to convince you, we do want it to be a huge surprise to the performance." It would have been nice if the one intern hadn't told about a new act in the next show. Now they were down an intern and up a large media storm. "As of which, Friday is going to be a much larger show than originally intended, and I know you can handle it because you've handle larger, but it means you need more sleep. In fact, you should get some sleep after I'm done talking to you. Beauty sleep, for the interview later, okay?"
She paused. "Back to the interview though, towards the end, there should be someone join you and Henny Larrings. Do you remember Joyce Krystie? The director for the large TV show going on, the one about the aftermath of the war in 100 years if Lancaster never showed up? She is going to try and convince you, on live TV, to star as a guest on it like she has been trying for a while now. Try to say no, since we are still busy, unless you really, really want to be on it. But, you didn't hear this from me, act surprised when she comes onto the show please."

Talulah Caballus border collie x husky x quarter horse
Well, there was that charming personality shining through already. The poor dog couldn't even keep his tail from wagging at the sight of her. He sure was good with hiding his excitement, wasn't he?
Talulah chuffed, rolling her eyes in amusement toward the other dog hybrid. ”Don't get too excited now, this isn't a date or something.” Had to let him know that now before he got any ideas. If he was anything like the Ranger she had met earlier before then she was about to be flirted with for as long as she stayed here. Not that she minded, she actually did like the attention and Ranger wasn't bad looking, but she wasn't looking for anything relationship wise. She had a business to run that took up her time. It was her child and that always came first.
Considering that she was giving herself an hour for a lunch break she decided she might as well sit down and get to know the other dog. She had been a part of this city for a little over two years now and had yet to find any actual friends. Perhaps she could start with the charming Ranger. So with that decided she went ahead and sat down, something like a playful glint sparking in her eyes. ”Surely you don't mind me sitting here?” She asked, yet with the gleam in her eyes it was obviously that she was playfully thinking ”Like you could make me move anyway”. Besides, she was sure the shifter wouldn't mind her taking a seat here. Why would he?
It wasn't long after she had sat down that her order was called out. She gave Ranger a quick “be right back” to grab her food and drink. It wasn't long until she returned with a chicken sandwich, a chocolate croissant, a cheese danish, a frappe, and of course, a chocolate chip cookie. For a little dog-horse she sure did eat a lot. Even now she could probably eat this exact meal again right after finishing this first round, and she was for sure going to grab a few more cookies before going back to her shop. She might even snag a muffin or two as well… Maybe it was time for Talulah to get dewormed or something. Surely it wasn't normal to eat that much in one go.
Now satisfied she sat back down, tail wagging as she eyed the food. Because she had no self restraint she started eating on the cookie first, taking a moment to savor it before slipping back into conversation with the guy in front of her.
She raised an eye at Ranger as he mentioned coming from Texas which made him, as he put it, not a scoundrel. ”Is that so? You still look like a scoundrel to me,” she teased. ”And that question just proves it. Only scoundrels use that line. Have you been reading romance magazines or something with cheesy pick up lines?” Talulah wasn't being rude or mean in the slightest, no, she was just pointing out the obvious, teasing poor Ranger really.
After taking a bite from her sandwich and swallowing it down, she answered his question. ”I do, yeah. More than I should, probably. I own a store a few minutes down the road so this is an easy place to come for lunch or something. If I keep relying on this place I'll end up forgetting how to cook my own food,” she laughed softly and then took a sip of her frappe. Honestly, if she didn't watch it she would never cook herself any meals and she’d end up spending every last dime she owned at the cafe. She didn't mind giving businesses the money they deserved, but Talulah had to keep enough spare change for herself that wasn't just for food after paying off her taxes and bills and everything. But some habits were hard to break, especially when those habits involved her getting some dang good cookies.

Jex was always ready to tease Flo. While some could say that he should be nicer to his twin sister, he didn't see the reasoning behind it. After all, he knew he loved Flo and he was pretty confident she knew it as well. If his sister had any real problems, he'd drop anything he had to help her out or beat up whoever had hurt his sister. Since neither of those seemed to be necessary right now, he was perfectly happy with teasing her. Wasn't that just proof of a good brother sister relationship like theirs? He liked to think so. When she spoke, he raised an eyebrow. "Oh, that's what you think? That's where you're wrong, sis. Cause guess what? Sure, I spend five minutes, maybe, on my appearance in the morning, but we all know I'm the hottest otter-fox in this city. Heck, I'm one of the hottest guys in this city and t requires zero effort," he teased, sending a wink in her direction. He was decent looking, but nobody would consider him to be one of the hottest guys in the city. No, that was just him. Jex, too, looked like a mess in the morning. His hair did, at least. The problem was that he could pull it off better than his sister. It also helped that Jex believed he looked great even when he was a mess. He was obviously very modest. However, confidence did wonders and Jex definitely had the confidence to walk right out of bed and onto the streets and think he looked great. It probably helped that his normal appearance didn't look too different from how he woke up. The messy looking hair was a lazy boy's best friend. However, he still didn't understand how she was wearing those clothes. Even he was only able to sleep in shorts (or pants, if the night was a bit cooler). Jex raised an eyebrow, fighting a smile as Flo made grabbing motions towards him. "You want some cereal?" he asked again. Then a mock look of surprise crossed her face. " Two horses? Wow. I better get you some cereal before you disappear. I kinda like having you around... sometimes." When that was said, he returned to the pantry and grabbed a box, setting it on the counter. He'd already finished his cereal and set the bowl near the sink. He poured a second bowl of cereal and added the milk in before slipping a spoon into the bowl and sliding it towards Flo. The bowl came to a stop a few inches away from her and a little milk spilled out of the bowl and onto the counter. "Oops?" he asked with a small shrug. Flo could clean that up since Jex made her breakfast. Jex was always looking for something to do. He didn't have any amazing ideas himself, but the otter-fox boy was not one that could just sit down. Even now, his fingers drummed on the counter and his feet bounced on the little bar thing on the barstool he was sitting on. As much as he hated to admit it, Flo was one of his best friends, so the idea of doing something with her was fun. When Flo agreed to hang out with him, Jex brightened and grinned a little. Then when she asked what they should do, he frowned. "Uhhhhhhhh..... I don't know?" he said, making it sound more like a question than a statement. "Did you have anything in mind? Because I am not an idea guy," he said, hopping off his stool to grab a bottle of water from the fridge. He plopped back down in his seat and finished half the bottle in one drink. "Yeah... Uh, basically... I just want to dl something... I don't have any ideas." 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖

Stella Bella cat shifter
Okay, she had this. She was so close that she could feel its little whiskers right on her nose. Underneath her black and orange fur she could feel her muscles gathering themselves, ready to propel her forward in a fast strike. The last meal she had had been the morning before - a half eaten turkey salad. It hadn’t been the best meal, the meat having been mostly eaten. What had mostly been left behind was a few leaves of lettuce and a few carrots. There might have been two strips of turkey, but she hadn't cared right then. She had been starving and there had been a meal. And now there was a good sized rat only a few feet away from her sniffing at some trash. Rats were a cleaner meal than most believed, and besides, Stella probably already had rabies anyway.
The little tortoiseshell took a few steps closer before she paused. If she didn't run now then she would probably lose it. It was now or never.
With an excited mrrrow the little cat shifter wriggled her haunches and then pounced. Her paws landed heavily an inch from the rat, causing her to stumble ever so slightly. As she tumbled the rat sprang forward and took off; the tortoiseshell felt her heart sink into her paws. My rat! Getting back to her paws she took off even though in the back of her mind she knew it was too late, but she had to try. She had to. This would probably be her only chance at a meal for another day or two.
Stella thudded forward, determined to get the rat. The shifter girl chased the rat for a good half a mile before she finally gave up, panting and huffing. A small whine escaped her maw. Her stomach shared the sentiment as it growled. Rather than letting it get the best of her, though, Stella looked around, noticing she was right outside one of the city’s well known attractions - the museum. Her hope shot up just as her tail did. Where there was an attraction there was people and where there was people there was food.
Deciding she would get in easier as a cat than as an eight-year-old, Stella waited for somebody to walk in or out before darting forward, slipping on the slick floor. She quickly got back to her paws, darting forward too fast for anybody to try and grab her. After all, they would think her a regular cat in her current form, not a shifter. So doing what she thought best Stella ran for an enclosure that was big enough for her to squeeze into but small enough to where people couldn't reach in and grab her. Once settled she curled up and lay down, waiting for any chance to grab food when it might come up.

Verity Indigo Canaclo type 2 hybrid (sloth bear and lion) "Be careful, stay safe, be back by-"
"By 3:00 at least, because the streets can be dangerous even in broad daylight when nobody would be stupid enough to do anything, yeah yeah I know." Verity gave her mother a sweet smile as she lingered near the open door. "Don't worry, I'll live. And be back in time for dinner with Hollands. Now, love you bye~"
Verity wasn't even going to allow the lovely governor stop her daughter from enjoying a day out because to all hell, she was far too overprotective. Not only did it lead to the stupidest schedule Verity had to decently follow, but it was annoying whenever she attempted to leave the house to simply meet some friends. Which wasn't her goal today. It was just going to be a pleasant day out. Which didn't help her case at all, considering her mom found it to be so much more dangerous to go out when there wasn't some type of purpose and was just walking around. No group of friends to help protect or scare away people from whatever dangers out there. Which Verity found funny cause who was just going to target someone and kidnap, murder, injure, mug, or anything of the sort, some random kid? Nobody. It was stupid. And too protective.
The point now being, Verity was on her way to the mall. A perfect place to go and hang doing who knows what in the world. Probably go to the Hot Tropical at the mall and get some fun merchandise. And then a smoothie. And then go to the park and just chill for a while. Stop by a pet store and ponder getting a pet fish, rabbit, feles wolf, or simple cat. And then go home. It was going to be a fun day and maybe she'd meet someone new.
It didn't take her long to get to the Grand Palace Mall. And Verity was still safe, gasp. Jokes aside, she gladly walked in and took a detour from her original goal of Hot Tropical. She took a major turn to the not-nearly-as-good-as-Hummingbird-kinda-hipster cafe. Plus, it wasn't nearly as into coffee as it was tea. Which was so weird for a cafe?? But Verity saw a sign for a new type of cookie they had and she was curious about that.

Moore Clayton type 2 hybrid (american alligater and keeshond hound) Moore was tired. So incredibly tired it was actually funny. The worst part about it was for once he got 8 hours of sleep, seeing as he had no classes yesterday. He caught up on half of his school work, still did his job, and actually went out with friends for once. The issue was 8 hours of sleep was not enough time considering how much sleep he really had missed out on on the past few... days? weeks? months? He wasn't even sure. And now he was stuck longing for the peace of sleep again, but he had a job to do.
He probably wasn't supposed to have coffee on the job, but it was going to stop him from crashing on one of the exhibits. And it wasn't as though anybody was really going to tell on him, guest or coworker. He knew the people he worked with would do it too, and guests simply didn't know if it was allowed, so they couldn't judge. Plus he really needed this to stay awake.
Didn't mean he liked it. Already talked to one lady who didn't know how to look at a map, a couple that didn't understand you don't touch exhibits, and an old lady who was ranting about some type of inconsistency about war exhibit and started on a long rant about her mother being in the war and things being different. Even if he had felt alive this morning, they would have killed his energy and raised his exhaustion to unbelievable. He really didn't want to believe when this gecko guest nervously approached him to ask about, "The exhibit with feral feles wolves, didn't know you guys included a live cat in it. Was it to show the two creatures that created them? Then why isn't there a wolf?"
"A- A live cat? Uh- Sir, we don't have a live ca-... We don't have a wolf seeing as they are much more dangerous to bring indoors with crowds in them. Enjoy the rest of your day at the Hybrid Museum though!" It was better to go along with it rather than somehow initiate an argument with the man over whether or not the museum had a live cat. Which they didn't have. Telling one of his workers there may be an issue with one of the areas, he started to the supposed sighting of a cat.
There was a cat.
Why was there a cat in the exhibit? Did somebody bring in their pet and let it wander around? Did they not see the 'No Pets Allowed' sign with the small additions listed beneath it? Perhaps it was a little silly to even have that sign considering over 70% of people that came were hybrids, part animal themself. But at least they 'mostly' had self-control and wouldn't jump into exhibits and act like animals. Moore wouldn't himself! And he was part dog! And alligator, but alligators weren't nearly as known for being uncontrollable. Biting and snapping at people maybe...
Not the point, Moore.
Great. Now he had to deal with the cat. Into a little pad to contact coworkers not near, he muttered into the thing, "We have a cat in the feles wolf section. I repeat, cat in feles wolf section." He paused as someone bombarded him with questions. "No, not a cat hybrid. It looks to be a cat. Yes, just a cat. I'm going to temporarily close off this area to get rid of it. Good, glad to know we are on the same page. Shouldn't be long, maybe 15 minutes at most." He was grateful there wasn't much of a fight to it. He glared at the cat hybrid there as people exited the section from being told to.
He entered the area and approached the cat with the fierce glare before moving to pick it up. "Come'on you little rat, you don't belong in here." Perhaps he should have let someone else deal with this. He was far more a dog person than cat.

Stella Bella cat shifter
People were starting to notice her. How could they not? She was a full on cat after all, but most of the people here were hybrids themselves, why couldn't animals be allowed inside? Especially since she had run into an animal display. Why couldn't animals be here at the animal display? And it wasn't like she wasn't even bothering anybody. No, she was just going to sit here until the chance to snag some food arose. That wasn't against the law or anything, was it? Stella wasn't quite sure to be honest, she was only eight, but surely there was no reason for why she couldn't be here.
And now workers were starting to notice her.
Stella shifted on her paws, hunkering down so she was closer to the ground. Maybe if she sat still and low enough she wouldn't be spotted or she would be mistaken for a part of the exhibit. Feles wolves were part cat anyway, so here hiding in this exhibit wasn't a stretch, now was it? And as she had already thought before, she wasn't here to mess anything up. She was here because she was hungry. As if to remind her she felt her stomach growl. Stella whined. She really wished she had been able to catch that rat...
Her hunger was pushed to the side when a bigger threat came into view. Well, not really a threat, but a threat to her if she couldn't get any food because of this.
Instead of staying still and hoping to not be noticed, the little tortoiseshell hunkered down even more, looking up at the guy with large, round eyes. She meowed up at him, her voice high pitched and rather pitiful. He didn't have to force her to get out. If he just handed her some jerky or cheese or something she would leave him alone and be on her way. Would he even have any of that on him? Stella wasn't sure, but the curiosity of the thought was enough to get her to slowly push herself upward and step forward, black nose twitching as she smelled him. Coffee was apparent on him, the bitter scent causing Stella to pull her lips back in disgust for a moment. Beyond that there didn't seem to be anything too terrible about him save for the harsh scent of something reptilian and canine. So after a few more moments of sniffing at him Stella slowly eased forward, tail twitching ever so slowly until she had her head up against his hand, rubbing against him. A soft purr escaped her. Maybe if she was nice to him then he'd offer her up some food. Yeah, that would be nice. That would be very nice.

Jemima Skarovski Type 1 Hybrid
Jemima began to tap her fingers along the metal bars on either side of her holographic pad as she listened to her husband explain that there had been nothing from Capucine. It was to be expected of course, considering the girl only ever did things by her schedule and no one else’s. Jemima wouldn’t be surprised if she showed up here one day, demanding something else of them. Somehow it was both a relief and a worry that their biggest funder hadn’t made any sort of appearance yet. However Jemima tried not to focus on that, and instead she began to answer Maynard’s questions.
”As far as progress goes, any new developments we have had recently have lead us to a dead end. No deadline in sight, not yet anyways, but I’m sure we’ll be able to figure that out as soon as we can continue our work a little further,” the sifaka lemur hybrid explained, pausing for a moment to look over at the other scientist, her long tail swishing along the floor, probably collecting any dust they might’ve been there. She’d have to clean off her tail later. ”I’m afraid that we can’t do much right now,” Jemima admitted, glancing back down at her notes. ”We’ve taken a few blood samples of any...helpers here,” helpers was about the only nice way Jemima could think of to phrase it. ”However, unless we can start to do some more thorough testing, I’m afraid we’ll hit another dead end before long.”
The idea of experimenting further on the collection of people they had taken didn’t quite settle right with Jemima, but she could push that down for the sake of everyone else. Knowing that they were helping others and benefiting the world kept her going. Knowing that her little Saskia would be able to grow up in a world even better than this one brought a comfort to the sifaka hybrid. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to keep her going despite the less than ideal circumstances. ”If you think we should start on that without Capucine, I can give the word to our team downstairs...” She added, glancing back up from her notes to look at her husband.

Malcolm Lennon Type 2 Hybrid
Having resigned himself to wallow in solitude, Malcolm had fallen to the ground, and in the middle of the crowd of people, had pulled his knees to his chest and buried his head to them, tail wrapped around his legs. No one was going to help him find Pixie, that much was clear to him as well, and by now he had yelled himself dry of anger, and still no one had come to him, no one had paid him a moment’s worth of attention and by now the type two hybrid was beginning to realize that no one would. They lived in a cruel world and now, all that was left was to cry until he was out of tears to shed and then after that....well after that, Malcolm wasn’t sure what to do. Hopefully something would come to him while he was crying.
The red panda-chipmunk boy sniffed, and just as the corners of his eyes began to water, he heard a voice. It sounded close, and though Malcolm had his doubts that whoever had spoken was talking to him, he still thought he ought to look, and so he slowly brought his gaze up from his knees to come face to face with a human girl.
He blinked, quickly rubbing at his eyes as his once vulnerable face scrunched back up into an angry, determined glare. ”No, I’m not alright,” he started angrily, determining that this random lady really was talking to him. Quickly, he got up to his feet, looking at the girl with a frown and folded arms. ”No one here gives a dung about helping others and I’ve been standing out here, asking for help for so long and everyone just...just ignores me,” he explained and looked up at her with a defiant, guarded look on his face. ”What do you care though? It’s not like anyone in this stupid city actually wants to help.”

Jonah Otto Human
In his hurry to get back to Maudie with the drinks and pastries, Jonah hadn’t even thought to look where he was going. Already he had bumped shoulders with a few people - which he must’ve ran into fairly hard on accident as a large amount of them ended up stumbled back and falling over - and had tripped a couple times as well. Luckily so far, nothing had spilled and that was what he had been aiming for here. So long as he could still get these drinks to Maudie in one piece, he should be okay.
However, any possible chance of that happening was quickly squashed as he got ready to turn a corner just as another person did and they collided into each other. Jonah tumbled back, landing on his rear as the drinks flew into the air and fell splat on the floor, one of them landed half on his leg as well and Jonah let out a yelp of pain as the sizzling hot coffee soaked into his pants like a sponge, dripping down onto his bare legs underneath. The other drink wasn’t much better off, as this one had crashed down next to him where the bag full of Maudie’s favorite pastries was. The coffee leaked into the bag, soaking the delicious treats inside.
”Jiminy!” Jonah voiced, startled by the turn of events, and for a few good moments all he did was sit there like some sort of confused bear. By the time Jonah was able to come back to his senses, he was covered in hot coffee, as were the pastries, and some random dog hybrid stood in front of him. Jonah, blinked, looking up at the girl for a second as he dusted himself off and got to his feet, ready to snap or something at the girl that had collided into him, but instead he stopped.
Now on one hand, this was a huge inconvenience for him. Now he would have to go back into Hummingbird Cafe and re-order everything all over again. After that he would have to rush even faster back to Maudie’s mansion and hope she wasn’t too upset. He would also have to go through his entire day with coffee stained pants, but that was the least of his concerns and he knew it would probably feel good to put the blame for all of this on the hybrid in front of him.
On the other hand, she looked truly upset that she had ran into him, and he had done his fair share of running into other people today. So despite being covered in coffee and at least fifteen minutes behind schedule again, Jonah couldn’t bring himself to actually be mad at the girl. Instead, he smiled slightly at her and gave a good natured chuckle as if to show that he wasn’t angry at her. ”It’s fine, really, I should have been watching where I was going as well,” he explained and extended his hand out to her. ”I’m Jonah, by the way,” he introduced himself to the dog hybrid, hoping to end things on a good note with her before he continued on his way back to the Hummingbird Cafe for Maudie’s order.

Cressida Walters Type 4 Hybrid
As Sorreni went over their schedule, Cressida nodded along absentmindedly. In her hand she held her now further caffeinated beverage - it tasted horrendous but it got the job done and that’s what mattered here - as she took a few more sips of it, making her way to one of the drawers. Once she made it she quickly pulled out a pad of sticky notes and a glittery pen as she began to take notes. Perhaps it would’ve been easier to put these on her phone and have her device directly tell her all about this whenever she needed to know, however Cressida had a fondness for things that were seen as old fashion now. She liked the way the paper felt in between her fingers or how smoothly the pen slid across the papers. There was something so incredibly real about it all that brought her back to reality, even though her hands shook slightly from the lack of sleep and large intakes of caffeine that Cressida subjected herself to, but that really wasn’t the point here, now was it?
”Interview later today, don’t bring up the performance, don’t guest star on the show....got it,” Cressida muttered under her breath as she scribbled the notes down on the pad, ripping the sticky note from it once she was done. Now with sticky note in hand, Cressida looked around for a place to put it, a place she would surely remember. Cressida paused for a moment before a thought came to her and she grinned, moving back to the fridge as she thrust the doors opened and stuck her head back inside.
Her wings ruffled against her back as she rummaged through the fridge, finding the cans of energy drinks that were stored in the back of the fridge - and probably took far too much room. Half the fridge was nothing but energy drinks, the rest was mostly leftovers from takeout dinners, none of it was healthy - quickly, Cressida stuck the sticky note right onto the closest cans and nodded in approval. There, that would be a place she could never forget to look. So, now satisfied with where she had placed the notes, Cressida stuck her head back out of the fridge and made her way back to the drink she had on the counter.
Quickly, Cressida gulped down some more of it. ”Alright, that’s not too much. I could probably finish my book before we have to go...” Cressida mused, skipping over the prompt to sleep. She didn’t need sleep, she was already wide awake, sleeping now would be useless. Besides, what good was beauty sleep for someone that could change her appearance with the flick of her tail? It seemed rather useless to her. ”Is that all we have to do?” Cressida asked, looking back to her sister with a tilt of her head.
Perhaps Cressida should pay a little more attention to her daily schedule, and maybe she should be a bit more involved with the life she lived. However Cressida had found that she was far less stressed out if she allowed herself freedom of those things. Now, Cressida left the planning and schedule making to Sorreni, Cressida’s only job was to show up and look pretty. It took quite a bit of the stress off of her rather busy life and she had quite a lot to thank Sorreni for, as her sister had been the one to take this burden off of her shoulders and place it on her own. Honestly it was a wonder Sorreni got any sleep at all, Cressida surely wouldn’t if she was in charge of as much as her twin sister was.

Pluto Rokkett Type 1 Shifter Hybrid
Pluto mentally cursed as the man pulled the eel away. It might not be much, but she needed that food to help her friends and Pluto was determined to get it. So, staring the man down, she began to let out all sorts of unhappy animal noises, and although ferrets couldn’t actually hiss, she did a fine job of mimicking the sound for an animal that wasn’t a cat...or something else that did hiss. This man thought she was a demon noodle? She would show him what a demon noodle was.
So, letting out a small yet - hopefully - ferocious ferret war cry, Pluto leapt into action as she charged at the hobo like man. Her little feet couldn’t carry her all that far very fast but dangnabbit, Pluto was going to give it her all and anyone else would have to fight her for her right to that eel.
First she ducked under him, running right down in between his legs in hopes of maybe throwing him off balance a little, or at the very least: distract him. Then, once she was behind the man, Pluto lurched her tiny, fluffy body forward, jumping off the ground and into the air as she screamed as well as a ferret could and latched herself onto the man’s leg, digging her nails in just enough to keep herself in place. Then, letting out a determined huff, Pluto began to clumsily attempt to scale the man’s leg. Ferrets weren’t meant for climbing and she probably shouldn’t even be attempting this, yet here she was and she was going to give it her all.
This was war now, and Pluto was determined to win or die trying in her attempts. After all, you didn’t get the nickname “demon noodle” for lying around, doing nothing.

Nero Marley Type 1 Hybrid
Oh, he wasn’t mad. Well wasn’t that a relief? Nero wasn’t sure what he would do if this man had actually been mad at him for running into him. Nero wouldn’t blame him if he had been, of course. But that didn’t stop the sense of dread from falling deep into the pit of his stomach. Nero had dealt with plenty of people that were mad at him before, typically they took this anger out in different ways, some were worse than others but all were far from good. Just knowing that this stranger wasn’t upset with him seemed to bring a sense of comfort to the nervous cat hybrid, even if it wasn’t much.
Letting out a small, slightly nervous chuckle, Nero rubbed his hands together, a tic that he had picked up from an old friend. He seemed to have a lot of those actually: nervous tics. Maybe he should get it looked at, not that he had the money to afford anything like that. ”Heh, I guess you’re right,” Nero agreed with the man who he had recently learned to be Dakota. He seemed nice enough, this could end well after all.
Clearing his throat a little, Nero stood up a little taller as he grew to be slightly more comfortable around Dakota, his ears peeking up even more. ”I uhm, I am sorry for running into you though, I didn’t see you and I was in such a rush I didn’t even think to look where I was going...it’s all my fault, I’m sorry,” Nero apologized again, even if it wasn’t all that needed, he felt much better after he was able to once again, bow his head down in shame and take full blame for what had transpired between them.

Flo Carter Type 2 Hybrid
Flo rolled her eyes at her brother’s cockiness. Oh he thought he was all that good looking, did he? ”Mm, I hate to correct you Jex, but you’re not the most attractive otter-fox around, I claimed that title already,” she informed him rather causally, smirking over at her brother. ”If it makes you feel any better though, you can be the second most attractive otter-fox around, I’ll let you have that,” Flo reassured him, letting out a few giggles. Humility must run deep within this family’s roots for Flo to be just as humble as her brother was, and as everyone knew, Flo and Jex were incredibly humble people.
As she was given her cereal, Flo let out a pleased whine and instantly stuck a spoonful of cereal into her mouth. She couldn’t even be bothered to care about the puddle of milk on the counter, in fact, she could clean that up right now. So without even thinking about it, Flo tipped her head down, stuck out her tongue, and lapped up whatever milk was left on the countertop until it was spotless.
Was it gross to clean up the counters as if she was some sort of animal? Yes. Yes it was. However Flo was part animal, so that made it less gross. Or at least it did in her opinion. Was she wrong? Quite possible, but did she care? Not in the slightest. Their counters were clean, it was perfectly fine to lap up the milk like some sort of dog. The counter might not be as clean anymore, considering her tongue had touched it quite a few times, but was that really the point here?
Putting her focus back onto her cereal, Flo dished out some more of it and stuck it in her mouth. She hadn’t been lying when she said she was hungry. Maybe not hungry enough to eat two horses, but definitely hungry enough to down this entire bowl of cereal and get seconds. Though even as she shoved her face full of the delicious breakfast food, Flo did her best to pay attention to her brother as he continued.
Spending some time with him would be fun. Flo had plenty of friends herself, but no one would ever be able to replace her twin brother as her number one friend. Jex was her best friend and always would be. If he wanted to hang out, Flo was more than willing to hang out with him for the day. It would be fun, especially since it was something they hardly ever seemed to do anymore.
Now they just had to figure out what they could actually do. Swimming was out, in fact anything water related was probably out of the question. But there had to be something else they could do. Flo bent her ears back, tapping the table repeatedly as she thought. ”We could go shopping?” She suggested at last, looking over at Jex with a tilt of her head. ”It would be fun to go to the mall today, I haven’t done that in awhile. How does that sound?” Flo questioned, looking her brother over. If Jex said no, that was it, end of story. But Flo was hoping he’d agree to go shopping with her. That sounded much more fun than lazing around doing nothing all day long.

Ranger Barslim Type 2 Shifter Hybrid
Ranger did nothing to stop his tail from wagging even after Talulah had pointed it out. It would slow down and come to a stop all on it’s own, he wasn’t about to force it to stop. Instead he just smiled at Talulah and nodded for her to sit down. ”Believe me ma’am, if this was a date my tail would be wagging much more than it is now,” he explained with a smile on his face. ”After all, anyone would be lucky to date you,” Ranger added, nodding his head slightly in confirmation. He wasn’t lying either, anyone would be lucky to go on a date with the lovely dog-horse hybrid. Ranger was many things, but he sure wasn’t a liar. His pa didn’t raise a liar.
Which meant that he also wasn’t about to lie about the cheesy pick-up line either, and instead the dog hybrid gave a sheepish grin and shrugged his shoulders back, a small whine escaping him. ”Heh, you caught me. Though in my defense, I got that from a movie.” Specifically a romance-comedy movie, typically called a rom-com, or even a chick flick. It had worked for the guy in the movie, and he was from the city, Ranger thought that it might’ve worked for him as well.
Clearly it didn’t. Oh well, no big loss there either, he’d just cross it off the list and give the next one a try some other time. Not now though, right now he had a lovely girl to put his focus on and his pick up line and flirting list would have to wait awhile before he cared enough to update it.
So instead he leaned forward onto the table, watching as Talulah left and came back with quite a bit of food. He blinked but didn’t say anything. He knew when to be polite and hold his tongue, his brother didn’t, but that was why Ranger was the charming one out of his family. ”That looks good,” he said instead, choosing to comment on how tasty the food looked rather than the amount there was of it. He had no right to judge, he could go through an entire box of dog treats within a day, he had no right to say anything about food to anyone.
Ranger lifted his head up, looking around the cafe. ”It’s a nice little place here. My friend works here so I’ve been stoppin’ by a lot recently. Maybe I’ve found another reason to keep coming here,” he added, sending a smile over at Talulah. If she came here as often as she said she did, Ranger wouldn’t mind stopping to talk to her again. Not only was she really quite pretty, but he enjoyed her company.

Chester really didn't expect the ferret to be this mad, he thought it would have just given and scurried away to go find food somewhere else. Chester also didn't expect a ferret to move this fast, it had only short little legs but it was now latched onto his leg making all sorts of strange sounds. But Chester wasn't going to let this little demon noodle win. he yelped and tried to fling the ferret from his leg by kicking his foot as hard as he could. but the little devil was stuck like velcro on his pants. "Youlittledemonoodlefluffysausagegetoff." Chester started to panic. He had nothing to hit or bat the ferret away with and he didn't want it to climb up to his face and bitting his nose off or worst get his eel. So as Chester is trying to fling the ferret off his leg in huge over exaggerate kicks he doesn't realize he's getting a little to close to the edge of the dock and before he knew it he was the dock and into the oceans cold waters with a large splash. Oh, this was war now and Chester wasn't playing around anymore. He was about to fight to the death for a eel.
Not far off Maddox watched the whole thing while eating ice cream from a cup. Mint chocolate chip with a tad bit of whipped cream, just the way he liked it. He liked coming down to the docks, there was always interesting things happening.

Lukasha "Luka" Ramonovna Octo | 23 | Female | Three-type Hybrid [blue ring octopus, monitor lizard, black mamba] | | If anyone stands out in a crowd, it would be this woman right here. Moderately tall, at a height of 5'9", Luka has pale skin marked here and there by small black rings. These aren't tattoos or scars, however, and will flash a bright blue if she feels cornered or threatened. If this happens, it's wise to back up, as a bite from her sharp fangs could very well kill a man, and she can always just slap an irritating person away with her four arms. Yes, four. Arms. Her eyes are a dark, solid black: pupil, iris, scelera, all of it, which only adds to her bizarre appearance. Her hair is actually pretty normal though, a pale blonde reaching down to her mid-back. | | Headphone Actor | maybe a teacher? McKenna Blake
To Oberon
Chilling at home
It was a nice day out, but McKenna was lounges on the couch of the apartment that she shared with Oberon. She didn't have to work today, so she was just planning on relaxing. She'd gone down to the cafe that morning for coffee and muffins, but hadn't left the apartment since she returned. At the moment she had a bottle of water on the table beside her and her guitar resting in her lap. She reached over to take a sip of her water before picking her guitar up and beginning to play the song she'd been struggling with a little bit. After a few more minutes of playing, she set her guitar down and stood up. There wasn't much to do in their little apartment. Practice her music. Read. Watch TV. Hang out with her boyfriend. She'd been hanging out on her own for most of the day and was beginning to get a bit restless with the idea. She'd be fine staying in if Oberon was around to hang out with her. After a few moments of deciding what to do, she turned on the TV /'d settled back on the couch to watch it. The show didn't hold her attention for long and she was back on her feet within minutes. She turned in a small circle as she looked over her options and then her stomach grumbles. Well, eating would definitely be a decent choice. At the very least it would give her something to do for a few more minutes. She made her way into the kitchen, sorting through the pantry for something good to eat. She eventually settled on a simple sandwich, pulling the ingredients out and putting it together rather quickly. She'd just sat down to eat it when another thought occurred to her. Oberon. She hasn't seen her boyfriend for a while, so it wouldn't hurt to go find him. She could make him a sandwich as well and then maybe they could spend some time together. A soft smile found its way to her face at the though. She pushed her chair back and stood up, stretching as she left the kitchen. Knowing he wasn't in the kitchen or living room left the bathroom and bedroom. She walked over closer to the two rooms and smiled. "Obie!" she called out. She stood near the bedroom and bathroom, not forcing herself into either of the rooms simply to find him. "I made a sandwich. I can make you one too and then I figured we could just hang out together." After passing on her little message, she returned to the kitchen and began to make him a sandwich, assuming he'd join her out here. If he didn't, then McKenna would get two sandwiches. She hesitated for a moment before pulling out the bag of chips and pouring some onto each plate. She then went and got herself a bottle of water, but didn't grab a drink for Oberon. She wasn't sure what he was in the mood for, so he could pick what he wanted when he came out. And until then, she figured she'd just tidy up a bit. She grabbed her guitar and went back to put it in its case. It was just her and Oberon living here, so she knew she didn't have to worry about someone breaking it on accident, but she was definitely more comfortable to have it safely in its case. Once that was away, she moved around the kitchen and rinsed off the knife she'd used for the sandwiches and put away the bread and any wrappers that she might have left behind when she was making their lunches. There weren't many dishes to do. Just a plate, a couple bowls, a cup, a spoon, and a knife, so she decided that the dishes could wait until after they ate - later if they decided to hang out. Once the kitchen was a little more tidy, she went back to her seat at the table and sat down in her chair. (Bleh sorry it's short. Also I know I should have done my other replies but I usually get a little strike of inspiration for starters. So I got this up and then I'll work on Riley and Rory) CreamCrow

Riley Capps
To Malakai
Enjoying her Saturday
Why hadn't they thought of this before? It seemed so obvious to Riley now. They both looked forward to their Saturday meetings and they both did their best to be here every Saturday at the same time. Plus, she relaxed when she was around Malakai. It was a little escape from the troubles of being an adult. She had no doubt (or at least, she hoped) that Kai felt the same way. So why not pick a day during the week? It may be harder to uphold than a Saturday, but it would still be a nice break. "Let's see..." she paused to think, rubbing her chin a bit as she tried to picture her schedule. "Well, I work during the days and hopefully you'll be working with me soon. So maybe a night? I'm free Monday and Wednesday and Thursday, so maybe Wednesday would be a good option. Right in the middle of the week but still a bit distant from Saturday," she suggested. She tilted her head and looked over at Malakai to see what he thought. At least he'd welcomed her suggestion about meetings up more than once a week. Of course, they did meet up more than once a week, but having another scheduled day for that would just make her relax. Malakai was a man that Riley had a unique relationship with. Maybe it wasn't unique to others, but she truly didn't have many relationships with others like the one between the two of them. She could trust him with anything and did her best to make sure he knew the same was true for him. If he wanted, he could trust her with anything he might have on his mind. He'd helped her through whatever she struggled with in that time and she did her best to be a shoulder that he could lean on when he needed it. Maybe that's why she liked him, she realized. She'd learned that she could rely on him and trust him and she felt connected to him in a way that she'd never felt before. The thought of him knowing how she felt made her smile. As much as she feared ruining their relationship, she had to admit that it was getting difficult to force herself to hide it from him. She wanted him to know how she felt and she wanted to know if he felt the same. Maybe today was a good day for that, but she had to wait for the right moment. Not right now at a crowded cafe. She had to wait for a moment that felt right. Just making the plans to tell him how she felt made butterflies appear in her stomach. It wouldn't be long until they were doing backflips and she knew she'd be getting even more nervous about this. Riley liked to think of herself as a polite person. She never did anything to intentionally upset others and she just tried to be a decent person. However, with people she knew, it was even easier to be polite. That's why she never hesitated to offer Kai some of her food or a good compliment, especially if he was seeming down. Even days like today. He didn't seem down. In fact, he seemed happy to be here. That didn't mean she wasn't going to share her food or tell him he looked nice today. Of course she was. This whole plan of giving him the number to call her boss was just another version of a compliment. She wanted him to find a job and she trusted him to be a good enough employee that she wasn't worried about his performance reflecting badly on her. She smiled when Malakai tucked the napkin into his pocket. "Gooduck getting the job, though I don't think you'll really need luck," she said with a small grin. Riley was one that liked her freedom. She enjoyed her job and she went everyday. She never really thought about faking sick to get a day off. But that didn't change the fact that she wanted to do something. She didn't want to be forced to be in one place at one time. That's why she treasured her weekends, and especially her time with Malakai. When he spoke again, she tilted her head and listened to his ideas. "Skydiving and Mt. Everest would be fun, but I'm not sure those are the most attainable goals for today. Maybe one day, but not today," she said with a laugh. At his last suggestion, she threw an arm around his shoulders, even though he was decently taller than her. "That one we can accomplish," she said with a grin. "Assuming that I'm your best friend, of course." She didn't mind if she was Kai's best friend. She knew he was hers and that's what mattered the most to her. When he suggested his real ideas, reasonable things for a day like today, she thought for a moment. "Museum or mall might be fun. Something more extreme would be fun too, but I can't think of anything that's possible and legal. So museum or mall it is. Maybe then we can have a picnic or grab some takeout and hang out at one of our places," she suggested. (Ughhhhh help. I keep typing Maverick. Luckily I keep catching it) Fire on Cloud Nine

Dakota watched him as he grew a bit more comfortable with him and apologized to him once more. He waved his hand dismissively at the apology. "Water under the bridge, it really is no big deal. And maybe it was a good thing that you ran into me, we got to meet each other after all." he said to him with a smile and a wink at the end. He held his hands be hind his back as he looked to him, his tail swishing back and forth lazily in a relaxed fashion. "So were are you heading off to in such a hurry that you aren't even looking where you're going?" he asked him curiously. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to, I was just curious." He would like to get to know this cat hybrid a bit more if he could.

Maynard Skarovski Human Honestly it did worry him quite a lot that Capucine hadn't responded to any of his attempts to contact her. See, May was a reasonable man, he understood that sometimes people were busy, especially someone in her position surely. However she wasn't like that. She was just rude it seemed, and simply refused to communicate, nor cooperate with anyone. She was a frustrating girl to say the least. He was worried she would be coming sometime unexpectedly, demanding May's time to tell her whatever she wanted to know. He was yet to tell her he wouldn't unless she contacted him first. Maynard frowned, slowly tapping his fingers on the desk in front of him, thinking. So it seemed that the only way they could do anything else is to continue, which was a predicament seeing as they should really only do that with Capicine's input. Thorough testing is definitely the best thing they could do, in the case of information and testing of course. "Let's keep running blood tests for now. We have to find something eventually," he said, blinking and looking back up at his wife. At her last words, May sighed. "If nothing continues to come from the blood tests and Capucine fails to pay us a visit in the next 72 hours, let's continue on to carry out more thorough testing," he explains, fixing up his glasses. Personally he wanted to prolong the testing for their subject's sake much more then their funder's. If she didn't show up it was her problem, not his. Just because she had money, doesn't mean she could do whatever she wanted and expect everyone to deal with it. Sitting back, May looked at his wife. "How has your morning been?" He asked, figuring he could ask now the other situation had been dealt with. 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖

Talulah Caballus border collie x husky x quarter horse
See, she could have kept her cool had the other dog hybrid not gone off and say that anybody would be lucky to date her. He barely even knew her save for her name and that she had her own little shop, what made him think somebody would be lucky to date her? Of course, he was only being the flirty dog that he was, but the hybrid woman found herself growing warm underneath her fur and skin. Even still she somehow managed to keep a level voice, something of a half-lipped smirk pulling at her lips and showing off a fang. "The compliment is mighty appreciated, but I doubt I'd be all that interesting to have as a date. I suppose I could talk about gemstones and herbal remedies, but that's all I've got." Well, there was more that she could offer, but probably not on a regular date. If they were having a date at her house then maybe, but not anything like this. But that was enough on that topic. She needed to concentrate on the other topics here.
She couldn't help it when her ears perked up as a laugh slipped from her lips. "A movie?" So he watched chick flicks? Nothing wrong with that, Talulah just felt like he would be more of the type to watch some movie about the Wild West. Unless it was a Wild West chick flick. Did those even exist? "Let me guess, the plot involved this really cute couple that had known each other their entire lives. Then, on the morning of their wedding something happens to the guy and he gets put into a coma. When he wakes up he's forgotten everything, even to the point of not knowing what a belly button is. The guy changes his name to something like Kimberley and his should-have-been wife is distraught and tries everything to get him to remember. Of course, it eventually works out, but it takes a long time." Did she already have that plot thought out and ready to go even before the topic of chick flicks came up? Probably. Sometimes Talulah just let her mind go wherever it wanted to roam and sometimes it roamed to so very...interesting...places. Then again that plot seemed like a pretty cliche one to her. There were bound to be countless movies that followed a plot line similar to that one.
Once again the topic was changed, this time to her meal.
Looking at the food got her tail to wagging. "Want a bite of anything? I can tear a piece off," she pointed out with a shrug. There was plenty of food to share - she had enough for herself and maybe fifteen puppies - but don't get her wrong, she wasn't about to share all of it. A bite or two, but that was it.
After taking her own bite from the chicken sandwich and swallowing it down, she rolled her eyes and huffed, offering Ranger a somewhat hidden amused look. "Maybe it's time for me to find another place to eat at," she teased. Despite all that she had said so far she really was enjoying his company. He seemed like a nice guy, and it was nice to sit down and talk with somebody that wasn't a customer looking for something specific. And maybe, just maybe, his charm was working on Talulah.

Taeliyah Wylo Brenley Type Three Hybrid [Lion/Goat/Snake]
Any second now...any second...
NOW!
With a fearsome scream that was meant to be a terrifying roar, but came out more like an excited goat's, Officer Brenley pounced from her dumpster-top perch, muscles uncoiling as she tackled the criminal. Hunting down law-breakers and other undesirables could possibly be one of Tae's favorite activities, and the chimera hybrid lived for the thrill. She wasn't a superhero, but she was the closest thing she could get to becoming one, or so she thought.
There was a struggle, and for a moment her vision flashed white when the crook's fist slammed into her temple. But her skull was a little tougher than that, and as her vision cleared, she hissed angrily and smashed her head against his own. It probably wasn't the best idea, really, and while she came out better than the now-unconscious hybrid, she swayed dangerously as she got back up to her feet.
Might want to get that checked out by a doctor later. Oops.
Chase completed, Taeliyah observed their suspect as she waited on her partner to catch up. Young, maybe about twenty or younger, male. Definitely a hybrid, she could see that his right arm was covered in needle-like hairs, and she made a note to avoid those, and warn Echo about them when she came around. Funny...now that he was unconscious, he looked remarkably less dangerous. But then again, everyone did when they weren't actively causing chaos. He was a crook, and he was dangerous enough for them to have to hunt down.
"Should we bring 'im in then, Echo?" The question was posed to the tiger-eagle hybrid, who she knew had to be within hearing range by this point in time. She moved fast, and wasn't deaf. Hadn't been too far behind her, to begin with. "I mean, he stole something, which is bad. But do we arrest people this young? What did he even steal?" She questioned, tipping her head curiously in regards to her partner against crime.
