I'm just gonna go ahead and pop Aevurico in. There's no real reason to have him out and about but I've really been craving to rp someone like him.))
Aevurico wandered the streets of the capital and observed the people. It hadn't been long since he had rebelled but he was sure it would be fine to wander the capital a bit. He was sure Almon hadn't instructed the guards to be on alert for him. If word had gotten out that the King's personal bodyguard had rebelled there was no telling how the people would react. Almon would try to cling to power however he could. Besides, Aevurico had changed into the clothing of a commoner to blend in.

Luna was walking around the capital as well but a familiar face caught her attention. Wasn't that the guy who threatened her dad? Sure she was originally mad but now. She was tired of being seen as a figure. As an object, she wanted her dad to fall from his throne and she knew just who to help. She hated the idea of leaving her mom and brothers but she would far rather help something at least a bit meaningful. As she walked up to him she pulled him into the dark alley nearby. "You are the rebel yes? I want to help you."

Aevurico resisted the urge to use his grace as he was forced in the alley but allowed himself to be pulled along. He waited for his eyes to adjust to the gloom as he looked at who had pulled him aside. He soon recognized the princess and listened as she talked. He couldn't help but chuckle and said "Even the Princess grows tired of the king does she? Enough to even offer assistance to a rebel who threatened to kill her father. Well I appreciate the sentiment but that alone won't be enough to support a rebellion. What can you offer me?"

Luna's eyes seemed to glow with anger, of course not actually glowing just a metaphor! "I say me helping you is quite enough. I can get you anything you need, of course I will be doing this in the shadows and if I find out you told anyone of my help I would make it my personal mission to end you. And I have the firepower behind me to do that Aevurico. Anything you need you tell me. I have a messenger bird that comes to a whistle. So whistle and have it send me a note if you need anything. But know I can only do so much at a time lest my father become suspicious." She said as she patted down the commoner's gown she had donned to hide in plain sight.

Aevurico watched her a bit amused before replying "Well then I have a request for you that I would like to be completed as soon as possible. I would like a list of all the Gracelings that have escaped the castle and those who are no doubt being kept hidden by your mother. As well as that I would like you to spread a rumor of my rebellion all while trying to convince your father not to act on the rumors. Perhaps tell him doing so would just do more to confirm those rumors than deny them. I would also like you to continue helping Gracelings escape and if they seem to harbor a great resentment towards the king send them my way. After all, a rebellion needs an army to back it."

Luna thought on the requests before replying. "The rumor one will not be possible. Do you really want him to attack you without an army right now? He will think you've brainwashed his daughter. The others may be possible. The list will take time and the escapes will be every once and a while so it doesn't seem suspicious. I can't convince him though I'd have to ask a favor of someone. See my dad ignores me where as my mother adores me. So I will see what I can do." She said before turning to walk off. "One more thing. You consider threatening me at anytime I will have your head. My help is your only hope, remember this." She said before disappearing into the crowd.
(i love Luna so much XD)

Aevurico watched as the Princess disappeared into the crowd. Although tenuous he secured support for his rebellion from within the castle. And it came from the princess no less. He only hoped her mother would give her support to him as well. Despite the Queen also being a Graceling he wasn't sure things would go well. He had said some very inflammatory things and had also wholeheartedly tried to kill Tristan. There was still a chance he could still gain her support.

Name: Rusul Naaji Gender: Male Age: 18 Description: Rusul stands fairly short at 5'7" with a very lean athletic build, toned arms and legs but thin torso and waist. He has tan skin with long dark hair that goes a little past his shoulders. He dresses in light simple tunics and garb meant for fighting in but with no armour on it, in dark red, blue, and black, covering most of him even with a scarf to cover his face, gloves and bandages to cover his hands. Rusul has a narrow face, narrow nose, pointed chin and very young looking features, still for some reason unable to grow facial hair. Personality: Rusul started out a very shy and nervous kid unsure of himself. He's still slowly growing out of that and is more confident and capable now. He is young, naive and innocent though he is very skilled. Determined, sharp-eyed and patient he has a sort of graceful technique to his movements and fighting style and has a mind for strategy but it also means he can bore easily. He looks forward to becoming a mentor, with a natural affinity for teaching others but he can get distracted and fool around sometimes when he needs to be serious. But under recent circumstances he has become more withdrawn and solitary. Job/Position: Mercenary/Assassin Other: SN: Plague Doctor

No he actually rebelled a few days ago and fled the castle. Right now he's wandering the capital to watch for any signs of the King coming after him and is trying to recruit Gracelings to his cause.))

A man dressed in long clothes and a scarf walked through the streets, keeping close to the walls of the buildings and trying not to draw attention to himself if his foreign look didn’t do it already. He had his hood up and most people didn’t mind him, and he try to stay away from people as he walked. Once he found a quiet alleyway he slipped down it and stopped, leaning against the wall and resting for a moment.

I'm just going to assume he's in the same alleyway as Aevurico.))
Aevurico knew that even if he gained the support of the Queen as well he would still have to be careful about what he said. Especially to the princess as it seemed she had a bit of a temper. Well he would be fine. He had already spent years being the King's lapdog. After thinking all that he decided he should move from there. He soon turned around to begin walking but quickly ran into someone.

Rusul jumped out of the way before Aevurico bumped into him. “Careful.” He muttered quickly, mouth covered by the scarf. “You look like you’re a hurry or worried about something. No harm done though.” He chuckled a bit at the stranger.

Aevurico inspected him and wondered why he would be dressed in such clothing. It was unusual to be wearing such long clothing at this time of year. Perhaps he was trying to not stand out? It would make sense as that was what Aevurico was doing with the cloak he had one. He looked at the man's face which was partially covered by a scarf. His gaze moved towards the man's eyes but they were both of the same color. Aevurico had thought perhaps he was a graceling. "Thank you," Aevurico responded "May I question what made you think that?"

“Like I said you look a little jumpy, nervous or too focused on something else to pay attention to which way you were going.” Rusul replied, pulling the scarf up a little when he saw Aevurico staring at his face. He didn’t stare too much back at Aevurico but noticed his mismatched eye colours. He didn’t know anything about gracelings so he didn’t think much of it. Rusul casually tucked his hands on his belt as he stood against the wall of the alley. “Must be important whatever you were thinking about.”

"Yes, quite important." Aevurico responded with a bit of a smile. "I'm a bit surprised you're so calm when confronted with a Graceling. Even if this is the capital most people are quite afraid of us. I suppose you might not be around from here." For some reason he was rather interested in the man. Most people tended to avoid the alleys of the capital.

“Why wouldn’t I be calm? I’m sure I could handle most situations and as far as I can tell I’m not giving you any reasons to attack me.” Rusul asked, tilting his head to the side a little. “Not sure what a graceling is, does it have anything to do with your eyes?” he nodded at Aevurico.

Aevurico eyes widened a bit. Most everyone in the Kingdom knew of Gracelings. He was either from way out in the countryside, a foreigner, or just plain ignorant. "I'm surprised you don't know of them. Well I suppose I should explain. Firstly, the eyes are not what makes us Gracelings. It's merely indicative that we are. What sets apart from most people is that we are all gifted in some way. Graced you could say; hence the name. The gifts can range from the mundane to the extraordinary. From being able to sing well to creation of flames. That's why I was a bit surprised you weren't afraid."

“So.... magic people.” Rusul thought on it for a moment. “Are many of them dangerous is that why I should be concerned when I run into one?” He asked, standing up a little off the wall and pondering on it for a while. “In your ‘grace’ dangerous?” He was very clearly foreign from the accent and how he dressed. “I’ve heard of people with strange abilities but we never called them gracelings.”

Aevurico looked at him and said " For the most part Gracelings are no different than you average person. Of course there's a few outliers but for the most part they're relatively harmless." As the man continued with is second question Aevurico chuckled a bit. "Well let's leave that a secret." He continued a bit more seriously "Well its what we call them around here. Though some might feel calling these abilities 'Graces' to be a bit of a misnomer."
|

“If they’re relatively harmless why should I be scared or surprised by them? I can imagine someone mistaking regular talents for ‘graces’ with how loose the term seems to be.” Rusul added. He crossed his arms his hands showing to be bandaged up and covered with loose leather gloves from underneath his sleeves, his brows furrowed a bit as he listened to Aevurico talk. He didn’t seem likely to pull his hood or scarf down anytime soon even if he kept talking to the man, which was a little off putting that he wouldn’t show his face.

Aevurico looked over at the man and pondered how to respond. "That never happens. All Gracelings have a different color in each eye." He noticed the man cross his arms and thought he may be getting impatient or nervous. "Perhaps I should show you why people are afraid of Gracelings?" To be honest he just wanted a chance to use his grace as he had not used it in a while.

“If this is a good place to do it, why not.” Rusul shrugged his shoulders, wondering what had changed the man’s mind about revealing his grace. He glanced back at the end of the alleyway where all the people leaving the market were passing by.
(Rusul still could be useful to the rebellion if Aevurico wants to hire him as a mercenary)
