Idk...I might be okay with Tree x Violet, Tree is an okay tom. Fin x Twig is being pushed too hard, it might end up falling off when they're older, that would be interesting. I'm not big on Lark x Spark, Idk why.

I keep picturing tree as much older and Violet is still pretty young so eekkkk What bothers me more is that Violetshine is basically Needletail's little sister in a way, and Tree seemed to be into Needletaila as well. Just weird.

We don't exactly have a set age on Tree, for all we know, the age difference between him and Needle could have been the same as Dust and Fern, while him and Violet, could have been another generation apart

Okay but real talk, I can't really stand Sandynose, based off these spoilers. I really do wish Plumwillow and Hawkwing had gotten together after all. And it's funny, cause I remember this pairing was the least liked among Hawk related pairings. But imo, I always thought it felt right.

And it's funny, cause I remember this pairing was the least liked among Hawk related pairings. But imo, I always thought it felt right. Sandynose seems to have his reasons if you've read the summary, such as thinking Twigpaw was a bad influence on Finpaw's confidence. Which is a bit odd, considering Twigpaw might as well be the cat version of Pinkie Pie with how cheery she is all the time. Maybe he thinks she's just being nice and doesn't really mean it? That's how I'm interpreting it, at least. He certainly seems to be overprotective of his kits (or at least has a complicated relationship with them in general), which may stem from the events of HJ. Even though it was mentioned that the kits had gotten attached to their father by the time the manga starts. As for HawkxPlum, I just don't see it. I'm glad they didn't get together because—and this may just be because I haven't read HJ since its release—it probably would've felt a little forced. Hawkwing was undoubtedly a good father while Sandynose was away, but he clearly still longed for Pebbleshine, and Plumwillow said she could never take another mate after losing Sandynose when she asked Hawkwing to help her raise her kits and was so happy when her mate came back. With them still grieving, it would've almost felt like they were replacing their mates with each other. Hawkwing clearly loved the kits as though they were his own, but I never got the feeling that he actually loved Plumwillow. Usually in these kinds of stories where one or both characters are grieving widows or at least divorcees with children, they end up falling in love, and I'm glad that wasn't the case here. Of course, it also depends on how it would've been written. Maybe time would've healed their wounds and they really could've been in a loving relationship. And if I recall correctly, Hawkwing did entertain the idea of being with her at least once, but I don't know... Just not my cup of tea I guess, although I really wouldn't have minded it too much either if done right.

There are situations irl when couples end up together because the children take a liking to a father figure.

I am well aware of that, I'm just saying this sort of plot in fiction specifically isn't for me, although it overall depends on how it's written.

Does anyone else get super confused by all the "song" suffixes in Thunderclan? (Ex: Larksong and Fernsong) Cause I keep getting them mixed up and it's driving me nuts XD

I personally think that it's very pretty. She was named in honor of her mother and because of the brightness of her spirit. There's just something I've never liked about the shine suffix. I've also never liked violets either. I don't know why. Just something about those names are unappealing to me I like the prefix, but they've been using it to death lately. Violetbreeze would have been so much better.

The leader we do not deserve I would not mind if Crowfeather's Trial took place in modern WindClan just so we can see more Harestar HE'S JUST SO LEVEL HEADED AND COOL like holy hell go harestar why did you pick crowfeather tho I have a theory on that. I headcanon Harestar as the son of Mudclaw. He would obviously be treated like crap by half of the Clan and would understand what it is like to be hated. He would sympathize with Crowfeather and give him a second chance by making him deputy. That, and he is one of the oldest warriors. Most new leaders, especially young ones go for the older deputy to help them.
