(Yeah, I understand that Misty. ^^ No worries. )
(It's easier to introduce him through a post.)
Tom could honestly say that though he liked taking risks, fire-starting was not one of them. He stood watching the fire with a foot tapping against the ground and a frown on his young looking face. The fire had been put out quickly, but even then he stayed where he was and continued to frown. He'd been thinking about things for a long time, mostly about how he wasn't as much of an idiot as whoever was starting all these things. Tom loved mountain climbing, hiking, and sky-diving. Anything that would give him good sights and a slight thrill. Messing with the police? Noooooope. He ran a hand through his blond hair, ruffling it up, then pushing it down again. Then he sighed and turned. He needed to get back to his job and it wasn't like anything else was going to happen here. He pulled his t-shirt down, trying to take the wrinkles out of it, but his boss was probably going to complain about the ash. Well, that was his problem. It was an awful, low paying job anyway. What type of dress code allowed t-shirts with band advertisements on it and blue-jeans? Probably whatever car lot or used computer shop that the 6'2, 23 year old vampire could get into. Who ever said that vampires worked in some high-class building, with a bunch of money, and people looking up to him. Tom snorted. Yeah, life wasn't like the movies. In real life, he had to work just like everyone else. If you wanted higher paying jobs, they should go to Eveline. Even then, he doubted Hollywood would believe that his ex really was a vampire. Not many of those movie fakes worked in newspapers either.

(So far he is, I think. xD
And I don't know what Tripp should be doing. Maybe they end up bumping into each other? )

(I might poof here soon.)
The smell might have been coming from Tom, who was currently turning around the corner. The slight sound of music pounded into his ears and he nodded his head along to the beat even though it was coming from Tripp's earbuds and should have been too faint to hear. He blinked a couple of times as Tripp came into view and he quickly stopped moving his head in case he noticed. He didn't want that type of attention. He did, however, notice that Tripp seemed to have smelled the smoke. "There's a fire," he said, a little louder so that he could hear. "That way," he nodded his head back in the direction that he had come from.

(Guys they made me run the mile at work today ;-; Just to motivate the kids)) mintedstar/fur🦇 ((Tom and Eveline = Trouble )) Misty ((Glad you got your internet back!)) Seeing as most crowd contral was pushed back, Rowlin paused to take another look at the building. It would be an okay time to go into the building by now, but still-the chances of other people getting close after he walked away was certainly a strong possibility. He shrugged, looking around to still see a lack in law enforcement. Something was definitely wrong. Obviously very dearly wrong... Unknowling he made his way for Percival and Elliot's direction. RosaJake shook his head calmly, "You're preference is your preference at the end of the day." He replied firmly, "I simply am against the idea of doing something like that knowing it's cold outside. My preference, but again it is perfectly fine for you to do it." He encouraged. He didn't take much notice into her small hesitation, but he proceeded after her, wondering about the possible start of the fire itself. Gotta think of other possible triggers then the usual back home fires.

RosaThe smell of smoke was almost a familiar scene, despite it he too didn't like it when being in the heart of the source. She was slowing her pace, was she hesitating, pulling back from her earlier confidence? He remained silent, to wait for the potential outcome. His calming approach, broke with concern at the mention of someone inside. He shifted a foot back when she mentioned a person. How did she know? .... unless you are related to the incident in someway; there isn't a humane way to know.. He coughed quickly pulling up his collar to bloke some of the smoke, "Someone else in here?" He raised a curious brow.

Rosa ((Go ahead and edit it ^.^)) ((Or use it as a means to I dunno-get him to go deeper and then do what she originally intended to do)) ((Also the fire is out by now: clarification. Firetrucks are there, but still no Forensics)

Rosa When indicated to lead the way, he nodded: silently speeding his pace to get in front. The building was in a state of ruin, at the same time because it was a factory building: the architect would help hold long enough for cautious investigations. He paused in his pacing, to pull out his phone, "You don't mind if I record some notes do you?" he raised a brow as he unlocked the screen to pull out the voice recorder app. He then clocked readjusted his bluetooth headset which had shifted a little from the time he had been outside. After the app was running, he quickly put the phone away to keep his hands free. They walked into a large open room,it was spacious then the previously hall they had walked through. Probably the show floor... He looked around spotting out what was the convener belt. He whispered into the headset, "It appears like the showfloor has taken a beating, with what was the convener belt melted beyond recognition." He stopped himself, as his eyes spotted up a second platform, which seemed to be missing sections to get across. "The supervisors upper step is almost gone- a hazard so we'll need to check if the back way is still accessable from the third floor.." He whispered into the mic again, this time waving to Scarlett that she keeps up with his increasing pace along the showfloor. "Now one question remains; where is the source of this damage? Upper or bottom level..." ((*Cough*@Mintedstarfur is there anything to indicate the start of the fire? Or at least a specific place?*COugh*))

(As a forensic science major, I can assure you that forensic scientists do not go to crime scenes despite what TV portrays. Either CSIs or police officers (who I believe have gone through some training if I remember from my class correctly) are the ones collecting evidence.)

mintedstar/fur🦇The blonde took half a step toward Percival and clenched his fists, still angry with the vampire about the phone call from earlier. I thought I had made it clear on the phone that I didn’t want to come out here. As much as he wanted to say that aloud, he simply couldn’t. Elliot needed to keep his job, which he enjoyed for the most part. The thing he hated most about his job was his superior – the man standing in front of him – but he usually didn’t interact with him enough to seriously consider quitting. There was just something about Percival that rubbed Elliot the wrong way. “If they were just as late as I am, they would’ve gotten here by now.” He let out a frustrated sigh before looking around and seeing other people past the yellow crime scene tape, or where the tape would have been if it were up. “Wait… Who the hell are all those people by the building. Why the hell isn’t the scene secure? The damn fire department is here. Surely they could help!” Oh, he would be damned if the scene was somehow contaminated by the other people.

(As a forensic science major, I can assure you that forensic scientists do not go to crime scenes despite what TV portrays. Either CSIs or police officers (who I believe have gone through some training if I remember from my class correctly) are the ones collecting evidence.) ((I'm well aware of forensic scientists not going in based on what T.V shows.)) ((I've sit through enough traffic to see the somewhat process ;-; But guys...it's a role-play lol We can be real and false based on what we're doing)) ((I'm just clumping stuff together as a whole CSI + Forensics = Forensics r.i.p )) ((This: based on what i've seen, because I can't move for hours ;-; )) ((First rate responders are Police, and Firetrucks - varying on who gets there first. On the sidelines the Paramedics are on their way too incase of human interaction.)) ((If it's a car accident: then tow trucks tend to hit the scene to help clean up the clutter, alongside the city workers to help clean the glass metal/help redirect the general traffic)) ((If there is a person involved, the crime scene if on the road is minimized: unless the body/damage was caused on a wider scale. The Police officers bring out tripods/camera to take photographs of the scene as is/every point they altered it))((And CSI's arrive between intervals)) ((If it's in a non traffic affecting area- then it will vary. I've seen forensic trucks show up at certain locations but again this is at 3am when I'm going for work and No one is around to see it)) ((Well maybe my mom who mistaked a body bag for a trash bag- while delivering pizza to a crime scene ;-; )) ((CSI's are their own unit, go figure.)) How to Crime Scene((But, if I do something wrong or interpret it wrong in RP: feel free to correct me. I mean we're just role-playing in between our heavy loaded classes. A means to relax and just relax)) Rosa He kept walking through the showfloor, seeing a hall at the other end. Along the showfloor he would ocassionaly sweep the floor with his foot to push the ash aside. Just to get an idea of the depth they were walking in. Along the wall, the air ducts were collapsed or simply ready to fall. He would ocassionally glimsp up to see the nearby air-ducts conditions. Making it out of the showfloor he quickly pulled out a pocket flashlight to proceed. When asked about being a reporter, he couldn't help but laugh. "I think I wanted to be a reporter at some point, but no.." He shook his head, "I'm a Fire Investigator- I just want to find a source of this fire and help push along this unique investigation." He replied to her question. He then pulled the flashlight towards the approaching stairway. Pointing upwards, the staircase had railings that were missing: but the steps for the msot part seemed doable. "Going up, and be careful." He snapped quickly.

Misty ((I should be the one apologizing >.< I did get a little defensive, but then again all I been doing the past four weeks is typing papers defending my reasons and why. History major upper division courses are just read a chuck per class/respond in paper format. >.> )) ((And i'm taking three upper division History courses + Upper division Geog and Econ -.-' Lot's of homework and with work, I am fighting father time to make time to do the homework))\ ((I hate working so far from home right now )) Rowlin pushed back a few strands of his red hair which fell out of place, quickly coupling it behind the ear. His faded green eyes kept a firm view of the two gentlemen, which appeared to be a dispute by the two, at least by his interpretation. The only thing he could hear was the discussion of disrupting the crimescene. He quickly quickened his pace to walk up to Elliot, with a friendly greeting and smile. Despite the circumstances, "Hello.." He greeted quickly, "I wouldn't be too worried about the crime scene from the outside. To get a fire of this magnitude in such a short period of time, you would need to start it from the inside. The only thing I can say for certain is that it wasn't the showroom, otherwise we would have seen some fireworks. But the possibility of below ground, and rooftop still remain." He spoke in such a friendly manor, it almost appeared out of place. As if a friend were talking a friend, at some cafe catching up on joyous things. The least expected mood at some location going wrong. RosaThat silence... did I really disappoint her? He silently made his way up the stairs, feeling cautious of the next step up for potential collapse. He turned quickly, a the sound of a gasp seeing her loose balance. This was a bad idea! He quickly stepped down to reach out for her. What he wasn't expecting was her reaching out to him. He remained silent slightly caught off guard, but then again maybe it was the lack of air in the facility. Maybe she was just dizzy because of the air, as such-maybe... "You alright?" He raised a curious brow, keeping still. And yet slowly moving his hands towards his coat pockets. Just pause the recording... and just in case.. His other hand reached for his lower inner coat pocket, Handkerchief I should have one-
