My mom's a doctor and so is my older bro so idk I might follow along. But it does sound like a lot of work so... xD
I mean, I literally haven't left my house all week except to go on a run or two around my neighborhood so it's not like I've been doing a whole lot otherwise haha.

{ Oh wow :0 Good luck to you guys if you end up going down the medical path! It's a tough road to take My mom used to be an OBGYN back in China so she's always telling me to become a doctor but Idk I'm doing an internship later this summer in a lab that focuses on neurology but like...I don't think the science/medicine thing is for me }

( well it depends on what kind of medicine you want to do. For biology you have to take your general chemistry and physics, and calculus 1, but I'm pretty sure that's it at my school )

Zehmira
Zehmira decided to set her fear aside. It wasn’t becoming on her. Besides, there were far more useful behaviors than cowering. All the same, it was comforting to feel Jack’s hands envelope hers. She gave his fingers a soft squeeze, a confirmation that she understood what he was saying. The way they acted toward the guards could turn out to be important later. She looked up to Arya and Rhyne, giving them each an encouraging smile. “I’d love to hear a joke,” she said to Jack. It occurred to her as they all huddled together on the jostling cart that it could be their only real opportunity to talk. They could try to communicate telepathically later, but she was rubbish at that unless the other person knew what they were doing. Besides, there was no knowing how spread out they would be. She glanced over to the guards at the front of the cart. There were two of them, and both of them were concentrated on the road ahead. Good, the four of them had some time to themselves. The sound of the wheels on the cobblestone would be enough to cover their voices. Zehmira leaned in to the others, signalling with her eyes that they should do the same. When their faces were close enough that they could whisper, she said: “Listen, we have to be strategic about everything. Making friends with the guards around our cells could benefit us in the long run. Besides, provoking them could mean missing out on meals and medical attention.” She looked at Rhyne as if the last comment was specifically meant for him. “It might be hard, but we can’t backtalk or pick fights. They might get loose lipped if we work on them long enough.” Before straightening she added, “And I’m going to flirt with them. You’re not allowed to make fun of me. Alright? We all get immunity.” Then she leaned back against the bars, sighing. Feigning charisma was going to be difficult to start off with. All she wanted to do was curl up in her own bed and feel sorry for herself. But that would get them nowhere. For now they had to play their parts wisely; the others would do the rest. The prison was about a mile out of town. It rested on the top of a jagged mountain, guarded by twenty foot stone walls. It looked to Zehmira like a dragon, tail wrapped securely around its body. She did her best to scan for weaknesses as the cart wound its way up to the entrance. There were guards stationed all up and down the road. The wall had only one break, the entrance, and it too was heavily manned. There was a tower rising from the center of the compound, a light glowing in its belly. Presumably they had eyes on every inch of the property. Damn. It was going to be nearly impossible to penetrate. She glanced toward the others. Judging from their faces, they were thinking exactly the same thing. Before they reached the gate, she reached for her three friends. “Hey, let’s make a pact right now. None of us get out unless all of us get out, alright? From now on it’s us versus the world. We’re a four man team until the guild can get us out of here.” Then she dropped their hands and leaned back, hands covering her wound. She summoned a pained expression to her face. Fortunately or unfortunately, the blood from her wound was beginning to soak through the wrap around her ribs. In her periphery, she could see the walls closing in around them. Guards peered inside the cage, identical in their metal helmets. In a few of their eyes she could see curiosity amidst the solemnity. One of them leered at Rhyne. She held her tongue, although her immediate instinct was to defend him. It occurred to her that he would probably be the most targeted among them, considering he would appear to be the biggest threat. She made subtle eye contact with him. It was an attempt to send him strength before they were taken from the cage. As if on cue, the cart lurched to a stop. Zehmira inhaled a deep breath of preparation. The cage clanged as a guard jumped up to unlock the door. He entered with a small key, which he used to unlock their chains from the floor of the cage. They exited in the opposite way they had been loaded. Rhyne first, followed by Arya, Jack, and then Zehmira. When it was her turn, she waited for the guard to pull her to her feet. Best to act more injured than she was. Playing to the guards’ instinct to be chivalrous might make them more gentle. There was no such luck with the first, however, who hauled her up without so much as looking at her face. That wasn’t a good sign. The four assassins, each of them accompanied by a new prison guard, were walked through the crowd about twenty five men. Zehmira looked at the dirt. Best not to draw attention yet. The yard they occupied was about seventy feet wide. Flat. Empty but for the guards and three carts, including the one they were taken from. There was a staircase leading up into the main door. There was also a door leading into the watch tower, but it too was guarded. Soon they were inside, being lead down a long hall. One one side was a row of cells, and the other was a thick stone wall. Windows were once every fifteen feet. Small and barred. Impossible to escape through. She did her best to avoid eye contact with the other prisoners. Most of them were silent, sticking close to the walls or resting on their cots. There were almost always four per cell. It was a maze to the part of the prison where they would be kept. There were two flights of stairs down. From there she got confused. It was either two lefts and three rights or three lefts and two rights. Hopefully the others were counting. Acting like she was in pain was getting easier and easier. Her side was beginning to ache, and the blood loss was making her light headed. It was almost a relief when they stopped at a cell. The door was pulled open by Rhynes guard, who instructed them all to file in. Zehmira forbade herself from grinning. Good. They would all be held together. Idiot guards obviously didn’t know who they were. Her joy lasted all of three seconds. It faded as quickly as she realized the cell was uncomfortably small. Two narrow cots between the four of them. The ground was covered in dirt and crumbs. “Didn’t think to sweep?” she almost murmured, but she held her tongue. “Welcome to your humble abode,” said the guard who held her arm. “Don’t get too comfortable. Your trials will be short.” He released her handcuffs then shoved her away from the door, nearly making her crash into Arya’s back. “Thanks,” she said. It was difficult to mask the sarcasm. Then the door clanged behind them, and she heard the guard lock it using his ring of keys. She looked back just in time to see him place the ring his hip. Then he left. Two guards stayed behind. One was younger, probably in his early twenties and the other she estimated to be fifteen years older. The younger was clearly the more submissive. He glanced to his companion as if seeking instructions, but the other guard was stone faced. Zehmira crossed to one of the cots and sat down. She made eye contact each of the other three. Well, there wasn’t much to do now but wait for an opportunity. “How’s your shoulder?” she asked Rhyne.
