"...shut up." Sarina snatched back the charm, tucking it back into your pocket. "It's pretty useful now, isn't it? So just shut your trap and accept the fact that I make trinkets that are helpful for everyone except me." Rising to her feet, she stretched out her hand to Zi. "Well, you want to do the honors of announcing the competition?" "Umm, me?" Zi asked, hoping the Neziri was talking to someone else around her. Yet, when her eyes did a full sweep, there was no one even remotely near. "Uh, okay then." The death primary tried to still her beating heartbeat, but she was still all nerves. "Hey everyone!" She practically whispered. She winced, realizing how quiet she'd been. "HEY EVERYONE!" She tried again, this time, she was pretty sure that no one didn't hear her. Sarina shook her head at Zi's pitiful attempt to call over students. Sneaking up behind her, she took the necklace out of her pocket and fastened it around her neck. "Here," she whispered. "This'll get their attention. Just imagine yourself lifting off the ground."

Bael shrugged in response "I've been like this forever, even before.....well.....you can guess what I'm talking about." He lightly tapped his foot on the ground before asking "why do you ask? I didn't think that my 'condition' was something that you needed to ask about"

Yugo nodded. "Cool. Thank you sir." He said, beginning to walk away towards his dorm. He was actually glad the tour was over, Mr. Ketill gave him dark states that Yugo didn't like. It was the first day, and Alazar was excited. He couldn't wait for classes to begin, but in the meantime he had been watering the plants that he kept in his dorm room. Now he was outside the dorms, feeling the urge to watch the new students coming in. He waved in greeting to the boy nearby, who he had never seen before.

Yugo looked up as another student waved to him and he walked over to him. "Hi there. I'm Yugo." He said as he walked up, holding out his hand. "I just got here." He said.

Celestine crossed her arms again. "I was just wanting to know is all," she retorted. "You're the only other Dofthego here that I've seen so far. Is it wrong to be curious?" Speaking this way was very unlike her; usually she wouldn't speak to anyone, but since she was being forced to attend this school, this side of her personality decided 'why not?'.
Alazar smiled and shook the other boy's hand. "Alazar," he said simply. "Nice to meet you. So you're a first year?" If he was, then that meant that Alazar might have to show him around; which he didn't mind.

Located in the center huh? That puts a dent in things "What sort of plans are you hatching in there?" That's not important right now. Just follow the fish "Fine. Whatever." Jacenty sighed and folded his arms in annoyance. "Aseem is a cool name. I guess."

Yugo shook his hand happily then nodded. "Yeah I am. But I think I'll be able to work out where things are. What year are you?" He asked.

"Skin and hair color isn't exactly something most people ask about" Bael shrugged. "You're getting pretty defensive about a simple question." He shook his head and clicked his teeth together "Not the ideal tone if you are planning to talk to people I'm afraid"

Alazar rubbed the back on his neck as he leaned against the wall, his wings spread out to stretch the muscles. "Third year. My Primary is Transformation." His topaz eyes glanced at Yugo's. "Have you already decided yours?" It had taken Alazar a while to figure out that Transformation magic was the one he liked the best. Something about transmuting one thing into another sparked an interest in him.
"Ideal tone for talking to people, eh?" Sighing, Celestine forced herself to smile, though her teeth were clenched as well. "I was just curious," she repeated, her tone lighter but riddled with sarcasm. "There. Better?"

Yugo shook his head softly. "No I haven't. I have a small idea but I've yet to find out what I truly want." He replied with an easy shrug. "For now I'm just taking a variety at f classes."

"Eh" Bael shrugged "It's passable." He was slowly begining to realize how much he disliked conversations. He usually insulted someone to their face and one of them would walk off. It was usually him just dropping a 'bomb' and walking off while the 'explosions' went off.

Response "I totally get it," Brilla agreed, casually nodding her head. "What classes are you taking this year?" The Illusion mage couldn't help but be curious. It would be so much easier if we didn't share any classes, she thought to herself. Then maybe I could focus on the class rather than my reputation.
Zi felt a rush of panic go over her as her feet lifted of the ground. "Sarina," she hissed, frightened that she wouldn't be able to control the item. With a shake of her head, the death primary halted, once she was ten feet in the air. "I swear you're crazy," she muttered to no one in particular. "ATTENTION EVERYONE!" she shouted, cringing at the volume of her voice. "Gather around for a chance to win the enchanted item!"
"Yeah, I guess," Aseem called over his shoulder. "I stole it from an old fisherman who help me and my sister after we got separated from our pod." The siren let out a soft smile. "If you want to know my real name, it As'kilokilopswke', but that's just a mouthful."

"Classes? Huh" Luciel thought for a moment and held up one of her hands as she started listing. "Dispelling and Protective Magic II. The first class wasn't too bad so this should be interesting. Manipulation of Living Tissue II, because that's my primary, and that comes with Combat Life Magic I. Air Generation I is there two.....also Taming and Recognizing Magical Creatures I. That should be it."

"Yeah, stick with Aseem." Jacenty murmured as walked. "I'm not entirely sure what my mother was thinking when she named me but I do know that my name means Hyacinth." Jacenty could feel Sosruko stir from within him at the mention of his mother but he ignored it. "Perhaps it was one of her favorite flowers."

"Well you should definitely take Transformation classes!", said Alazar. Then he shrugged. "Or don't, it's not for everybody. It is fun though." He smiled once again. "Tell me, are you interested in any clubs?" A lot of times, Alazar couldn't help but express the things he was interested in. All of the excitement just couldn't be contained within himself alone. If he were to meet someone who liked the same things he did (especially plants), then he would immediately want to be their friend.
"Thank you for that lesson on socializing that I needed so much." said Celestine, her tone still bitter and sarcastic. This guy was one to talk on that subject; he was probably even more rude than she was. "Way to go on social charms," Lucienne finally spoke back up. This irritated Celestine even more.

Reaching into her back pocket the illusion primary grabbed the sheet of paper she'd written her classes on. "Let's see," she started, her eyes already scanning through the words. "Magic History III.... Illusion Creation III, Light Manifestation, Taming and Recognizing Magical Creatures II, and Magic Theory I."

"Maybe," Aseem agreed, unable to peel the playful smile off his face. "But being named after a flower isn't so bad. Once, I met a fellow siren who was named after a common fish-which," The siren paused realizing that the Dofthego would understand what he was saying. "Is kinda like being named after your mother's favorite dinner."

"My mother didn't like fish actually." Jacenty murmured with a blank stare at the walls. He had fallen deeply in thought as he realized it had been a good while since he'd thought about his mother at all. "Hmm. You know I can barely remember what she looks like, though it has been eight years now."

Bael rolled his eyes and clasped his hands together "Now you know why you don't approach me at any point. I don't care if you have a question. I don't care if you want a friendly chat. I don't care if your limbs are falling off. Kapeesh? Good" He pushed himself off the wall and started walking away.
"That's a shame" Luciel stated, putting her hands down at her side "Now I'm going to be stuck in class without a sensible person." She shook her head "Guess I'm going to have to live with it."

"Scream louder!" she called, darting behind her booth to grab her twin swords. The curved blades felt familiar in her hands, and she felt the familiar rush of their enchantment as she gripped the worn hilts. Stepping back out in front of the booth, she assumed a battle posture, waiting for Zi to announce the details of the contest.

Celestine watched him walk away, a sour expression on her face. She was prepared to just leave it at that, she didn't like him anyway; till the girl realized that she had no idea where to go or what to do. "Wait!" she snapped at him before he got too far away. "Can you just answer one question?"

"Yeah, I know the feeling," he admitted quietly. "Me and the rest of my family got separated in a storm." He could feel his hands start twitching. The siren had never been good with talking about his past. "I haven't seen them since I was six."

Jacenty glanced over at Aseem before turning away again. "Ah, how maudlin we've become. It's a little bit pathetic." His voice wavered a moment and died. Then, as if steeling himself, he straightened and began to take a brisker stride. "Are we almost done?"
