Luciel raised a brow and put a finger under her chin "Well, we went on vacation the whole time. It was fine for a while, but after about 2 months, it got dull. Honestly, the funniest part of the stay was when my father tried getting a tan, but ended up getting the equivalent of 3rd degree burns. He insisted he didn't need protection, so irony got to him." She snickered "He was stuck in bed for a week" Brilla let out a false laugh. "Well at least that's amusing," the illusion primary replied. "All we did was go on tour of the continent." It was a total lie. Brilla hadn't seen or heard from her parents in over two years, and she doubted that if she returned they'd want to go anywhere with her. Even if it was just a boring continental trip.

Luciel nodded "He's crazy. Not sure why he thought it was a good idea." When Brilla talked about her vacation, she raised a brow "Really? Where all did you go?" She wasn't entirely interested in the answer, though she thought it would give her ideas on what she was going to do over the next summer.

Yugo smiled softly and took the schedule and examined it. After Ketill said his last sentence Yugo looked up at him and nodded softly. "Yes sir that would be great." He replied as he held the schedule at his side.

She wasn't entirely interested in the answer, though she thought it would give her ideas on what she was going to do over the next summer. Brilla was prepared when the Neziri asked her question. "Oh nowhere dreadfully important. Just the Capitals of each country- minus the dragon one- and a lot of tours around plain old countryside because my mother found it 'beautiful'." The illusion primary had gone on a trips similar to this when she was still a child, and was being completely honest when she said the whole thing was a complete bore.

Bael stared at her, wondering why she suddenly said no before he recognized what was up with her. So I managed to piss off the demon as well. Must be a new record. He thought, figuring she was ready to jump him at any moment. If she tried, he knew she would get in trouble, only because he'd gotten in trouble multiple times. Celestine was extremely irritated, but also terrified. She couldn't let anyone find out that there was a demon still inside of her. If only Lucienne would understand. Clenching her fists and her teeth, she stayed still until she could feel Lucienne give up. "Don't underestimate me." was all the demon said before it went quiet. "Forget it", Celestine muttered, finally managing to calm herself down.

He replied as he held the schedule at his side. With a curt nod, Mr. Ketill, exited the room waiting until the boy followed an locking the door the same way he'd unlocked it. "Alright then, off to the Life and Death wing, I guess." The teacher's footsteps echoed in the hallways as he made his way to the center of the building. "It can get a little confusing as you go along," He called over his shoulder. "But there are signs at every intersection to tell you the way to each nearby wing."

Luciel scratched her chin "I see. Most of that does sound boring." She nodded her head before a thought came to mind. She smirked "You got your eyes set on anyone this year?" She didn't know why that came to mind. It was probably something she subconsciously wanted to know.
When she seemed to calm down, Bael raised a brow. "You're weird" He stated before leaning against the wall of the school when the sun seemed to be beaming down at him. He couldn't wait until it got colder, so he would have a better chance at not being brutally burnt by unforgiving rays of the sun.

"Hmn..." Sarina tapped her chin thoughtfully, half-opening her eyes. "I do have my swords with me... and we have some spare blades here for people looking to join..." She finally fully opened her eyes, looking down at Zi. "This could actually work," she said, poking her friend's arm. "But what would the prize be?" "I don't know," Zi admitted feeling the inside of her pockets. They were completely empty. "I would say some sort of money prize, but I didn't bring much, did you?" The death primary knew that her friend most likely wouldn't have more than a couple gold pieces, which didn't look good for the contest. "Do we have anything else to offer up?" "Well, I was hoping not to use this..." Reluctantly, Sarina pulled a small charm strung on a thin string out from her pocket. "It's enchanted," she explained, showing Zi the small jade griffon up close. "If you're wearing it, you can fly for a brief period of time without wasting any of your own magic." She shrugged, adding, "Pretty useless for me. I made it myself." She tossed the charm over to Zi. "I was hoping to save it as an emergency gift if I ever got caught without something, but..."

Yugo bodded and kept walking along behind the teacher, though he did get rather bored of walking the whole way. Ugh I could just portal there right now... He thought but refrained from it for sake of his own safety.

She didn't know why that came to mind. It was probably something she subconsciously wanted to know. Brilla had to pause and think, in order to answer the Neziri's question. "I don't think so," she admitted, wrinkling her nose a little. "No one really stands out or is interesting enough for me to actually put time and dedication into." The illusion primary could feel how much of a drag she was being. "I don't know, maybe someone will come up in the middle of the year and actually be, you know, worth it."

"Why would you make something that you couldn't use in a bind, even if you were just going to give it to someone?" she asked, generally perplexed by her winged roommate. "I mean, it's cool and all, and we could definitely use it for the contest. It just seems kinda silly, I guess."

Yugo bodded and kept walking along behind the teacher, though he did get rather bored of walking the whole way. Ugh I could just portal there right now... He thought but refrained from it for sake of his own safety. Mr. Ketill couldn't help but cringe at every silent second the two walked down the hall. "It's important to keep in mind that the Life and Death Wing will be closer to the center of the school, while the other, more frivolous classes like elemental and illusion are on the outer ring and are closer to dorm rooms." Pointing down a straight hall, he added, "If you keep going straight from here, you'll hit the boys dormitories. From there, rooms should be labeled with the number, all you have to do is find the number you've been assigned."

Yugo nodded and made a mental note of where his classroom was then smiled happily. "Thank you Mr. Ketill." He said, hefting his stuff farther onto his shoulder. "Is there anything else I need to be shown yet?"

Luciel squinted and looked back at the courtyard "Ah, that's lame." She crossed her arm and began tapping her index finger on her bicep. "How do you think this year will turn out? If it's worse than the last two, well, I don't know what I'd do." She shook her head "I swear, if it is...."

A few seconds passed, then slowly she covered her mouth with her hand to stop herself from laughing. "I am, aren't I?" she said, a small chuckle escaping her throat. (She's bipolar. Luckily my other characters are normal lol). "But you're weird too. Why are you paler than me?" While it was natural for Dofthegos to become pale upon transformation, she had never seen one that pale. Of course, she had never seen an Albino either though.

"It's pretty useful now, isn't it? So just shut your trap and accept the fact that I make trinkets that are helpful for everyone except me." Rising to her feet, she stretched out her hand to Zi. "Well, you want to do the honors of announcing the competition?"

"Is there anything else I need to be shown yet?" Mr. Ketill made sure to double check the mental copy of the boy's schedule he'd made sure to keep in his head. "I think you should be good," he started, somewhat wanting the whole tour to be over so he could get back to his classroom to sort through books and papers. "You can go put your stuff in your dorm room now and prepare for tomorrow, or you could go back out to the school entrance. A couple clubs have set up to advertise joining and it's always fun to see what's available, even if you don't plan on joining any clubs."

"I hope it'll be pretty good, but all the teachers say that your third year is the worst year," Brilla sighed. "Hopefully, it'll at least be exciting though," she added not wanted to anger her... friend. "Last year was a complete bore. It was like nothing interesting ever happened."

Yet, when her eyes did a full sweep, there was no one even remotely near. "Uh, okay then." The death primary tried to still her beating heartbeat, but she was still all nerves. "Hey everyone!" She practically whispered. She winced, realizing how quiet she'd been. "HEY EVERYONE!" She tried again, this time, she was pretty sure that no one didn't hear her.

Bael blinked when she suddenly started laughing, confused how she went from being frustrated at him to laughing at something he said. When she mentioned how pale he was, he shrugged "It's the same reason why I don't have any color anywhere. It's called 'being albino', or not having any color pigment"
Luciel let out a disgusted groan "Of course." Last year was an absolute nightmare to her for reasons she never explained. "Let me guess, stress and many nights staying up past midnight to get a project done that you hadn't started working on until that day?"

"That's what roommates are for," she joked. "They're first year, I'm pretty sure we can push the around if needed." The illusion primary hadn't had time to scope out her roommate, all she knew was that her name was Celestine. That sounds like a weak enough name, I'm sure I'll have no trouble with her. "Do you know who your roommate is yet?"

"I haven't checked" Luciel replied "And I don't care to. I'm probably going to have to set all sorts of rules and boundaries so she doesn't end up messing with my stuff." She was hoping her roommate would be good at following directions, though she had thought of things to do if she did break any of them.

She was hoping her roommate would be good at following directions, though she had thought of things to do if she did break any of them. "I know right. I already dropped off all my stuff and I swear, if she touched even one of my things, I hope Mr. Oiks leaves her a present surprise," Brilla said her voice filled with disgust. It would be the literal worst thing for her to have a first year going through her stuff. They might find out that she actually didn't go home over the summer, or find a bill from her capital apartment room. That would be a nightmare.

"Yeah, I would feel the same" Luciel nodded "I have too much valuable things that I don't want her to touch. If she gets her greasy fingers on any one of my things, I can't be held responsible for what I might do" She shook her head "not responsible at all."

When she mentioned how pale he was, he shrugged "It's the same reason why I don't have any color anywhere. It's called 'being albino', or not having any color pigment" "I've never seen anyone like that before," said Celestine, cocking her head to the side. Oddly enough, Lucienne gave no comment. The demon was being quiet now, and it unsettled her, but at least it gave Celestine some time to communicate freely without her thoughts constantly being plagued by that menace. "How did you get like that?"
