Älphönse looked at Karametra as she spoke, letting out a long sigh followed by a loud growl from his stomach afterwords. "Well, if you don't need an apology, and I don't need an apology, then we can call this case settled." Alphy said. He rolled his eyes and looked down the hall. This case was far from settled. Alphy took great offense to Hagen insulting his mother's magic, but he would deal with that if it really needed to be dealt with. And currently, there was a more pressing matter to attend to. "Well, I'm hungry. I guess I will end up going to the dance tonight." He said, the second half of the sentence more to himself than those around him. As he spoke, he rolled up his tattered sleeves, before looking down at his torn up pant legs. He sighed and his shoulders slumped before he shrugged and shook his head, not really caring anymore. He extended a hand to Karametra, before asking "Shall we?" he asked the Neviri. HE looked over his shoulder and kind of offhandedly added "You can join us if you want to." to Hagen in a way that made it obvious that Älphönse didn't care what his response would be, immediately turning back to the doe eyed bird girl.

(Hi people!) Karametra felt like she had gone back to the days of her old group of friends, Hagen and Alphy reminding her of two of the kids, though not exactly so. Those two kids never would asked anyone to apologize to her, rather they would have just blamed everything on her, even if she had just been standing there, like she was now. Her hands were shaking now, having taken a small step back from them as if she was going to run. She had been trying so hard to not be shy, but there was a nervous look that was all to visible at the moment. Glancing at Alphy, she bit her lip before nodding slightly, her hand still shaking as she took his. "O-Okay." She said after what was probably a long moment, glancing at Hagen, "y-you going to come w-with us? T-The more the m-merrier." She said with a shy smile.

Älphönse shrugged with a rather plain face as he led Karametra to the ballroom. "If he wants to come, he'll come under his own volition." He told her rather plainly. It took him another 10 steps or so to realize that he actually had a girl pressed up against him. And that he was taking her to a formal dance. Dressed in clothes that he had just torn. He blushed a little. "Hey, can we stop by the boys locker room? I'd rather not ruin your impression on the other students by having you show up with a jerk wearing a torn uniform." He said, to embarrassed to look at her as he spoke.

(Alphy and Karametra are so that awkward duo who have no idea what they are doing XD)
Karametra looked over at him as he spoke, having not really taken notice of his clothing since after her initial reaction to them. "If you want," she said at first, still working on calming her shaking hands. She thought about what Marckus and Seraphina, her two siblings, would think if they saw them. Marc would threaten him and Sera would question him, at minimum... She thought with a sigh, shaking her head at the mere mental images. She glanced over at Alphy again, giving a gentle smile, "I-I don't really mind what other p-people think of me. I'm used to people not liking me." She said, tilting her head to the side, her wings ruffled.

Aleria |x| Grand Hall |x| Felson
Aleira laughed at his quip, inwardly hoping it was just that- a joke. Seriously, who agreed to go to a dance then couldn't dance? That just wasn't right. This whole plan might just end up blowing up in my face, she thought, biting her lip. Did I seriously just get stuck with the one 4th year who can't dance?! Still, she supposed she might as well milk this as much as she could before Felson's true self was discovered. She checked the room for Brilla once more, but, failing to see the red-headed girl, she turned her face back to Felson. "Thanks for agreeing to take me," she said, smiling up at him.
______
(Seeing as I'm late replying, I'll probably push back the end of the dance to next friday if that sounds okay.) "Not a problem, sometimes people just need a bit of a change of pace." Felson rumbled as he continued to walk, keeping his eyes in front of him. Was it true that he couldn't dance? Well, he could sort of do a slow dance shuffle thing, whatever it was called, but he never really cared to learn. He wasn't from a rich family, he'd spent most of his time as a teenager working. It was lucky he got into the school at the age and grade he had, though it was only through help from his teacher. Honestly, do girls like her expect all guys to be gentlemen? Newsflash, not all of us can dance. He thought, though he dared not say anything out loud. "I enjoy meeting new people anyways, especially considering I probably won't see any of ya again after graduation. Well, unless you work with enchantment magic, then maybe knowing a blacksmith would come in handy."

Älphönse scowled when Karametra said that. "Out of everyone here, and when I say everyone I mean is, I should be the only one no one likes." He said. He found it rather unsettling that a pretty girl like Karametra would think about herself like that. It was apparent that she didn't have the best history. It was apparent to him that the people who were close to her didn't support her the way they should have. "I care about what people think about you. So just wait here." He told her as they came to the boys locker room. "Wait here." He said, unwrapping their arms and walking into the locker room. After a few minutes and a loud bang later, Alphy walked out transformed. He was now wearing a white suit and tie, with a pink vest and dress shoes. "Hope whoever was in the shower doesn't missed this too bad." He said, making it blatantly clear he had just nicked someone else's suit. Straightening his tie, he looked at Karametra. "Well, how do I look?" He asked, a grin showing up on his face.

"Why? Why would you be alone in that?" Karametra asked, confused by his proclamation that he was the only one allowed to be disliked. She never really understood why people had a problem with her before, or even now, but she usually just shrugged her shoulders. "Y-You...barely know me..." She muttered after he already disappeared. Sighing softly, she leaned against the wall across from the door, listening to what was going on, twisting her hands around each other nervously. He seems good at magic, is he an upperclassman? Oh gosh...Marc would really be mad at this...So glad he can't be here, being the only child out of three with magic is a blessing in disguise. She thought, looking up at the ceiling. Listening to the door open, she tilted her head forward again to look at Alphys, and had to suppress a fit of giggles as she saw him. "You know stealing is bad, right?" She asked before taking a step towards him, her hair bouncing around her face and her wings stretched a bit. "We kinda look like a holiday watermelon." She said, looking at her own green dress, along with her red hair and wings, then his white and pink outfit.

"And who doesn't love watermelon?" Älphönse asked Karametra. He had a huge smile on his face as he extended his arm for her to wrap around again. He looked into her eyes, and all of a sudden the smile vanished from his face. He was happy. He was going to have fun. With another person. A girl. He was about to have the most contact with other people he's literally ever had in his entire life. Looking at the girl in front of him, he felt something warm inside of him start to build. Smiling once again, he dismissed the next thought that came to him. "Anyway, if he didn't want me to take his suit, he would have put it in a more secure place. Plus, I totally look better in it." He said and smirked. Alphy's stomach growled. He winced, and looked down. "Let's hurry. I want to get there before all of the food disappears."

Karametra giggled softly as she listened to him, smiling happily as he followed with what she said. She took his arm again, slowly no longer trembling as she was gradually growing more comfortable with him, even though she still barely knew him. "I still say stealing is bad, I do not condone." She said, tilting her head to the side. Listening to him, then hearing his stomach, she laughed happily and shook her head, "alright, let's go then, though I don't know where the food would be. The downsides to being a first year student." She sighed softly, wishing she was older, in a different grade. She wished she had more friends, knew people, and didn't fear nearly everyone. Nearly, she found herself getting along with Alphy, though that could have been because he reminded her of her old friends, which very well might not be a good thing,

Älphönse shrugged at her year comment. "I mean, I'm a first year too. It's all about attitude in my opinion." The boy said to Karametra. "Anyway, I'd assume that the food would just be in the same hall that the dance is in. Why would they put it anywhere else.", he asked, looking down at the girl as they walked.

Karametra looked at him in surprise, "you are? Oh jeez, I'm sorry, I thought you were an upperclassman!" She gushed out, eyes wide and face turning almost as red as her wings as she looked down at her feet. She walked in silence after that comment, not believing she had just assumed such a thing. It was embarrassing to her, to get something like that wrong. I really can't judge people well... She thought to herself, only barely glancing up as they made it to the dance hall. She almost stopped in her tracks seeing so many people in the Grand Hall, the mingling bodies never ending. She wasn't used to such a crowd of people, she'd never seen some many people together, and certainly never seen so many races together in the same room. The bright red of her embarrassment quickly faded into pale horror, afraid of what people would say, what they would think.
