Mr. Ketill let out a light-hearted sigh. "Alright boy, what your name?" The teacher's feet were already leading him to the back door where student files were kept. "I can look up your files, but you should have already been handed your dorm room." The tall Siviadian let his eye return to the boy. He looks nervous, the teacher realized, and I bet I'm not helping either. "But don't sweat if you don't have that, I can look it up too." He tested the door handle. Locked. His gaze once again returned to the student. "Don't tell anyone about this," he said while swirling his hands to unlock the room. It's best not to let students see how easy it is to break into here.

Zi barely had enough time to take in a breath before her roommate tackled her to the ground. "Ooff," she groaned when the world finally stopped spinning. You're so lucky you didn't break anything, the death primary thought still in shock. "Gah! I swear Sarina, next time you do that I'm gonna summon a ghost to tell you off. Maybe one of your ancestors whose precious memories you go off about having to store," Zi couldn't erase the smile from her face, despite multiple tries. "I'm sure they'd have some great thing to say to you." The girl struggled in vain to knock the older student off her. "If you don't get off me right now I swear you're gonna crush my ribs!" Sarina shook her head, looking down at Zi's face. "You didn't even attempt to answer any of my questions. I'm so disappointed in you. How am I supposed to be a good friend if I don't know anything about what happened to you this summer? It's like I haven't seen you in a year!" Bouncing up and down on her friend's stomach, Sarina flashed Zi a quick smile. "Answer my questions! Then maybe I'll think abut getting off you."

Yugo took out a pice of paper. "Yes I have that assignment but... I don't know where the dorms are or where anything is." He replied as his hand went back to normal and he relaxed some. He turned his head when the professor so there would be less uncertainty as to whether he knew how to get in or not. After the door opened he followed him inside. "And my student pack didn't have my schedule either."

The death primary didn't even try to mask the sarcastic overtones in her voice. "Let's see, my summer was okay, I guess. We just stayed in my Grandma's shop and worked." Zi felt her shoulders shrug- or come as close to shrugging as they could with the Neziri pinning her down. "You already govern me Sarina, you're literally pinning me to the ground. I'm sure other people will come to join fencing club, especially with your.... enthusiasm."

(Sounds good! I can start)
Luciel stayed at the edge of the courtyard with one arm wrapped her waist. She had her other hand in front of her face and was examining her fingernails. She had no idea how to feel about the new school year. She turned her lip up and put down her hand, taking a deep breath. "It better not be worse than last year" She grumbled.

"Well, I can show you that once I get your schedule," Mr Ketill responded, grabbing the key to the drawer from the back of the door. "Technically, students aren't supposed to get their schedules until the 'secretary' arrives." Unlocking the cabinet, the teacher began to finger through files in order to reach the first year segment. "Of course, that rule can be problematic when your secretary doesn't arrive until the last day of welcome week." His fingers meet the metal marker for new students, and the Siviadian raised his gaze to meet the boy, "What did you say your name was again?"

(Ahh whoops, I missed this post.) Brilla was hiding. Very undignified, she knew, but it was better than hanging out on the boring grounds surrounded by new students and people begging you to join their clubs. Disgusting, she thought, gazing out a window in the girl's dormitory hallway. She'd been here for at least three hours, popping in to get her stuff settled in her dorm before her roommate arrive. She'd spent her entire summer working in the capital so she would have enough money to pay her rent. Of course, she could've returned to live with her parent, but after she stormed out of there two years ago, she dared not return. Then, the girl's eye met with a familiar sight. Is that, Luciel? Her mind racked, trying to find a reason the Neziri would be arriving so early. I should go talk to her. After several attempts at leaving the building, Brilla was within earshot of the taller girl. "Luciel is that you?!" she called, trying to keep her voice causal.

"That comment went right over his bubble-head."Jacenty cocked an eyebrow at both of them and studied the siren for a moment before his lips turned upwards into a false grin. "You must be right of course, you are older and more experienced after all, sushi-boy. Alright. I'll join." Jacenty held out his hand for the siren to shake. ???"It should be fun." Aseem nodded, trying to keep his face as nonchalant as possible while he was quietly freaking out on the inside. Finally someone who has at least some interest! Lifting up the board he'd clipped the sign-up sheet to, the siren nodded to the boy. "I just need your name and we can get on our way." Part of him didn't want to leave the booth unattended, but the fourth year figured that if he needed to give out free tours to every newbie who showed an interest in the club than he would gladly do whatever it took. "Have you decided your primary yet? It might be easier if we start in that wing." Jacenty wrote his name on the clipboard Jacenty Wrona before pressing the pen to his lips in thought. "If I am remembering correctly then my decided primary is Death Magic." :3 "Don't be creepy." Jacenty muttered, "But pay close attention. I don't want to be lost for half the year." "Draw a map" "Do you have a pen and paper? Don't give any lip just help me keep our eyes peeled. If you don't we'll both end up stuck in the wrong section for the whole year. Doing Air Magic or something equally useless." "Point taken, fine, I'll help but then afterwards I get to use the legs." "Great, school year hasn't even started and already we'll be kicked out for redrum." "I'll start with that stupid singing sushi that you have decided to spend your Tuesdays and Thursdays with." "Be nice."

Luciel blinked and looked over when she heard a familiar voice. She smirked lightly "Of course it's me, who else could it be?" She unwrapped her arm and put it against her hip "Didn't realize there were sensible people here. Can't wait for these first days to be over. All the new faces and old faces are just irritating to take in at once."

For now," she added, with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "But nobody's even stopped by the booth yet." She motioned her hand around to the few other students who had arrived, all of which were ignoring the scene going on in front of them. "Even Aseem got someone to join. Aseem!" She rolled her eyes, muttering under her breath, "I mean who even wants to join Choir Club. They aren't even good singers."

Aseem cocked an eyebrow at the Dofthego. A little predicable isn't it, he commented to himself. A Half-Demon-Thingie taking Death Magic? "Alright then," the siren's eyes quickly glanced down to his clipboard. "Jacenty." he decided, hoping that he pronounced it correctly. "I'll show you to the Life and Death wing, though I'm all for renaming it the 'smells like corpses' wing." The siren wasn't conscious of it, but he was slowly testing the first year, seeing if he had a sense of humor, or if he was another boring, emo, death primary. "Off we go," he muttered to himself, double checking to make sure pamphlets were still visible on his booth before walking off towards the school's grand entrance.

All the new faces and old faces are just irritating to take in at once." Brilla nodded in response, careful not to offend the girl with her lack of confidence. "Ugh, I know right." The red-haired girl crossed her arms across her stomach. "It's just overwhelming. Too many worthless people trying to pretend that they're gonna be 'cool' this year. They need to stop lying to themselves." The Illusion primary couldn't help but role her eyes as new students passed her by, looking like wide-eyed cattle in a new pasture. "It's just pitiful." Zi let out a laugh at her partner's exasperation. "Hey man, he is a siren. Are you sure he didn't use some of his shady vocal magic to convince a helpless newbie to sign the death contract that choir club is?" There was something easy about talking to her roommate, even more now that the pressure on her chest was relieved. "Maybe you need to step up your game. You could totally do a tap dance on your booth. That would draw attention, right?"

"Exactly" Luciel nodded before rolling her eyes "They come here thinking that they'll be the center of attention and everyone will love them in their first year. Of course, it's the exact opposite. No one cares about them and everyone hates them for being so dumb." She snorted "I don't even understand why those people bother."

"yah-TSEN-ti" He enunciated, following the siren at a more comfortable pace. "I suppose manners indicate that I should ask your name and even your primary as well? I am not a worldly person and don't really know much about sirens. Though I can obviously guess that your not a Death Primary as well, even though the scent of fish is just as nasty. Maybe we can work together and stink bomb the Teachers' Quarters?" Jacenty ran his fingers through his hair in a jittery way. He wasn't used to conversing with other people quite so long before. This siren, so peculiar for trying to get him, a Dofthego of all things, to join his club and offer to show him around, was pretty desperate for members for his Choir club. It was sort of pathetic, yet Jacenty was a bit relieved at the fact that there probably wouldn't be many other club members for him to bother with.

"I'm Aseem," the siren answered, slightly amused by the rapid pace questions. "And no, I'm not a death primary." The pair had finally reached the school entrance, and Aseem let his fingers curl around the handle and pull it open. "I study transformation and water magic, with transformation as my primary." His feet started down the hall. "The Life and Death hallway is towards the center of the school, while the elemental and illusion wings are on the outside, closer to your dorm rooms." The siren still wasn't sure how to react to the prank idea.

She shook her head and spread out her arms "Let's be honest here, 2nd year wasn't that great either." "That's true," Brilla replid trying to shove away the- less appealing memories from the previous school year. "So what did you do over summer, Luciel?" If Brilla had learned anything from hanging around with the popular gang, it was that most people loved talking about themselves. If you could get one of them talking about something they did, then it would lighten the mood, and draw attention away from yourself.

Luciel raised a brow and put a finger under her chin "Well, we went on vacation the whole time. It was fine for a while, but after about 2 months, it got dull. Honestly, the funniest part of the stay was when my father tried getting a tan, but ended up getting the equivalent of 3rd degree burns. He insisted he didn't need protection, so irony got to him." He looked around slowly, getting used to his new surroundings and trying to piece together as much as he could as to what was around. "Alright then," Mr. Ketill flipped through at least twenty names before finding the one he desired. "Yugo Alibert. Undeclared primary. Here we go! Class schedule." The teacher pulled out a long sheet of scroll work, were written in Ms. Chisomo's handwriting was the class schedule for the student. Period One: Introduction to Magic, taught by Headmaster Niko Maei. Period Two: Foreign Magic taught by Ms. Chisomo Period Three: Lunch hour, report to the Dining Hall.. Period Four: Study Hall with Mr. Ketill. Period Five: Magical Ethics taught by Mr. Ketill. Period Six: Alchemy I taught by Mr. Allege "Well," Mr. Ketill started after reading through the list. "It looks like most of your classes are in the General Ed Wing which is right when you walk in, so that should be easy. I can take you to the Life and Death Wing to see your Alchemy class though."

The death primary knew that her friend most likely wouldn't have more than a couple gold pieces, which didn't look good for the contest. "Do we have anything else to offer up?"
