Mikael "Mika" Cyans| Male | 23 | Bisexual | Mika stands about 5'8" with shoulder length dark hair and dark skin that's only tanned darker from his excessive amount of time outdoors. Despite his darker features, he bares ocean-blue eyes behind rimless glasses. On a typical day he's seen wearing a light t-shirt and shorts with sandals. | Mika tends to be a bit shy about strangers, though after some time spent around someone new he's warm up to them pretty easily. Unfortunately he tends to be fairly gullible, though once he falls for someone's nonsense, he won't forget it or forgive it easily. | Mika lives in a small house along the southern roads of Pelican Town near the bridge to the beach.| Mika grew up learning to fish with his older brother. He loves the seaside and anything to do with the water, so he spends a lot of his time fishing and selling his bounty to the fish shop or to anyone who wants fish. Though he seems to sell plenty of fish, he rarely seems to have any money when he needs it. | Valkoinen Leuka
(Major Lewis. Actually I haven't done much in the game for a long time. I forget. Was Lewis military?)

And welcome Leuka [if I can call you that lol] your character looks good, though I would ask that you read some of the rules first, since you're missing one thing from your joining form. I'll add your character anyways though, and we can rp after that if you like ^.^)

(Okay I'm staying up late to do it tonight)
Irena| Female| 20| Bisexual| She has light blue skin and teal hair that she keeps in pigtails. She has darker blue freckles on her face and violet eyes. She wears a white t-shirt with a black jacket over it, teal jeans that match her hair, and rain boots. She has a Russian accent.| She is friendly but doesn't take any crap. She's very hardworking and loves to fish, which is her job. She'll come visit a friend in need even in rain or snow, especially since the weather doesn't seem to bother her very much.| She lives in a shack on the beach.| Irena grew up in Russia by the cold ocean, but came to America because she thought she would be more accepted for her unusual skin color. She unfortunately wasn't, so she moved to Stardew Valley to be more disconnected from the world.| Mayor Lewis| Berrysong~
(Yeah I know she's over the top but she's based off my actual Stardew Valley character so I thought I'd go for it lol)
Christopher| Male| 20| Bisexual| He has pale skin, short spiky black hair, and green eyes. He wears a silver band as an earring. He wears a black t-shirt in warm weather, and wears a white jacket over it in cool weather. He wears skinny jeans all year round and sneakers.| Christopher can be a bit brooding at times, and has an almost emo personality but doesn't show it off. Otherwise he is a pretty amiable guy, but he has a disdain for older people. He likes books and spends his free time reading.| He works in the library and lives in a basement underneath it.| Christopher grew up in Stardew Valley, but his parents were originally from the city before they moved to the country to raise their child. When he got older they wanted to move back, but Christopher refused to leave so his parents left him and moved to the city. He moved into the library and has been taking care of himself ever since.| Lewis Mayor| Berrysong~
(I may provide a picture of Irena's sprite later)

(Omg Irena XD I'll add your characters in a moment.
I can start then, I hope Finn is okay ^.^)
Finn was sitting down near the shore of the beach, holding what appeared to be a crude wooden stick for a fishing pole. It was short, with a bit of fishing line tied around the end. Every now and then he would cast the line into the ocean water, wait a while, pull it back out, and then fling it again in frustration. So far he was having absolutely no success.

Mika was seated on the end of the dock with his legs hanging over the side. He'd slipped his sandals off and set them next to himself and the pail of bait he'd brought. He'd been out here since the sun had come up, and he had a string of fish looped on the rail of the dock near him. He held a pole between his hands, leaning his upper body against the rail as he quietly watched the water. He was completely oblivious to anyone on the beach, though he occasionally heard footsteps on the wood as people entered and left the fish shop. He felt a slight tug on his pole and lifted it quickly to hook the fish. As the tugs grew stronger and the line began to dart about as the fish panicked, he reeled it quickly. From what he could tell, the fish wasn't heavy, so he didn't worry about keeping the line from snapping. Within a moment the fish was out of the water, eye level with him. He looked it over before deeming it big enough to sell and he added it to the string off fish before he reached for the bait bucket again. He pulled out a small shrimp and hooked it onto the end of his line before casting again.

Finn tried and tried, but couldn't even catch a measly sardine. Maybe I'm not doing it right. he thought to himself. Looking up, he saw a man sitting on the dock with a whole bunch of fish next to him. How does he do that?! He stared, calculating. After a while he came to the conclusion: Of course, he just wasn't in the right spot! So he secured his beanie over his head (a pink one today, since it was spring!), picked up his terrible "fishing pole", and jogged up to the part of the dock where the man was sitting. He didn't want to get too close to where it would engage him in social interaction though, so he squatted down a few yards away from the man and cast his line into the water once again.

Mika heard footsteps on the docks again, though they didn't follow the usual pattern to the shop. He lifted his head briefly to see who it was. Looked like some kid with a pole. He looked back at the water, then at the stranger again as he heard him take a seat. He sort of recognized him from around town, though he couldn't ever remember selling fish to him or talking to him. He looked at the fishing pole he was using and tried to calculate how far the string could reach without a proper wheel rigged to it. Well, it wasn't really his business. He felt a slight tug on his pole, but when he tried to set the hook, the line turned taunt and refused to budge. Snagged. He let out a sigh and toggled the line around a bit, trying to get the hook loose. The bait might come off, but at least he'd be able to keep the hook.

(Same lol, going to head to bed soon but maybe just ooonne starter post) (I'm ruining my life)
*clomp clomp clomp* went Irena's footsteps on the stone bridge soaring over the river. She was carrying a bucket in her arms, and it was filled with fish. She had just been fishing over the pier, and her catches were valuable. Pleased with her success, she set off to find buyers. And what better place to check than the Stardrop Saloon? She was sure the bartender would love to cook up one of her catches for their customers.
Upon arriving, she pushed open the door with her shoulder and peered inside. She wasn't expecting a crowd at this hour, and good thing there wasn't, because she didn't want her buyer distracted. "Anyone looking to buy a fish?" she called out to whoever might be inside.

"Darn it!" Finn muttered under his breath, though worse words were screaming in his head. Why couldn't he catch a single fish? Maybe I should just give up. Sighing, he set his makeshift pole down next to him and turned to the other man on the dock. Maybe I can figure it out if I just watch him do it. So he sat there cross-legged, quietly watching as the other man snagged something.

(Naomi is working at the saloon, but she doesn't own it. I can probably set a temporary placeholder for the owner sometime)
Naomi was washing dishes at the bar, a bit sour that her oversized apron was getting in the way. Suddenly the door burst open and she heard that familiar Russian accent. Groaning quietly to herself, she put down the glass she was drying and stared at the weird blue girl. "Uh...the owner's not here right now", she called across the room. "But I guess he would want some fish." There weren't any customers currently, so she figured she could sort this one out by herself without effecting business. "We can discuss it in the back room."

Irena scowled a little at the girl's sour expression. She didn't want to deal with a bad attitude. Well, maybe Naomi was just having a bad day. "Verry vell zen." She said and waited for Naomi to lead her to the back. The bucket was beginning to get heavy in her arms.

Naomi led her down the closest hallway. The office was straight ahead, but Naomi decided to take her into the kitchen, which was in the adjacent room. "Set the bucket down over there and let's see what you've got", she sighed, pointing towards the kitchen counter once they entered.

Mika gave a sharp tug and the weight on the line suddenly disappeared. He began to real in, bringing up an empty line. He sighed a bit, reaching into his pocket for his little bag of hooks. He took one out and tied it to the end of the line. He felt a pair of eyes upon him and he hesitated a moment, looking over at the stranger. "Um... can I help you?" He asked slowly, not sure why he was looking at him.

"Okay." Irena said as she led herself to the kitchen counter and set the bucket down. She reached a blue hand in and pulled out a halibut. "I have few of zese." she said, and dropped the fish back in the bucket. "I also have one of zese, check zis out." she dug into the bucket with both hands and pulled out a long, slimy eel. "Good for sushi." Irena said with a grin on her face.

Finn didn't answer the man right away, because he was having an epiphany. "I need a hook, don't I?" he asked himself quietly. Looking back at his crude fishing pole, he added, "Well, that's not the only thing I need..." He then realized that the other man was looking at him, and he became startled. "Oh! Um, sorry...it's nothing." He turned away from the man, his shyness kicking in.

Naomi stared wide-eyed at the gigantic halibut that the blue girl had hoisted out of the bucket. "Uh....How-actually, nevermind." she muttered. "That halibut will be good to make several dishes out of, I think. And we do get a lot of customers asking for spicy eel." Perhaps this lady's catch would be good for business after all. "If you can put those in the fish freezer back there, we can discuss payment."

Irena giggled a little at Naomi's expression. She seems impressed! she thought in Russian. "Sure. Vould not vant zem to spoil!" she told her and hoisted the bucket over to the freezer, opening the door and carefully placing the eel inside. At least, she was about to. "It needs packaging, nyet? And how many halibut?"
